Uno is a helluva deal right now. Way below its long time cap of $500k, below $2/uno. It's holding up better than most crypto in this storm. The price to buy it back up is virtually nothing. Uno has a lot of assets to its credit. 14 months after launch, still a passionate, welcoming & active community, with newcommers still discovering Uno Traded on top exchanges New USD markets Increasing retail support by metals vendors & other commercial enterprise Super low inflation Strong hash, supported by top pools, dedicated miners, a cloud miner, and tracked by mining sites. It's still widely distributed. The top wallet (not including Cryptsy) still holds <3%. Keep calm and hold Uno. We've seen this before. |

My concern isn't the price, it's the volume.
Volume comes with rising price. It's really bad on all alts. Litecoin did a 10% dip yesterday. From 3.3$ to 3$ All of crypto looks really bad. Volume for uno has consistently been in top 40 to top 50 (longer than most coins) It's really not that bad. What's bad is the industry as a whole right now. I got dumped on in literally all coins i trade. Lots of buyorders in last night. And cheap too. I think it goes back to litecoin performance. People see Litecoin drop and they panicsell their other alts was my conclusion. Putting uno back is really no problem. Was contemplating it but i feel one or two more dumps coming. Sellresistance is low. Let's wait a week or two for the dumpers to finish it up and then put it back up.  In Uno it's actually the question who's got the itchy buy-finger first. If i want to buy 600 uno today immediately price is at the roof - possibly higher than 0.01 even. Try to buy 600 uno today. lol. If i scroll down the visible orderbook for sellorders on cryptsy all the way down i am at 76 with 280 coins for sale. Can't wait to buy some dumps in 5s.  Yes, you're right. The only problem with volume is it causes challenges for retaining exchanges. For most crypto, low volume means death. With Uno it seems the opposite -- low volume is a measure of its health. You spend Doge; you hodl Uno. Patience is a virtue inherent to the uno community, but not to the crypto community at large. Cryptoland prefers pump & dumps, trading, jumping in and out of positions, ponzi scams, and valuing crypto against fiat. True hodling isn't in their mindset. I know from talking to you guys that there is tremendous demand in 005's, even if it's not on the books. Someone post 3 tons at 00575. It will evaporate very, very fast. |

Last peak around 0.0055 looks like where the UNO price is headed. Of course it may go lower. The question I ask is - How much UNO will be available at that price? 0.005ish UNO will be too tempting for me to pass up. I'm already moving some things around in case I need to act on that kind of bargain.
I'm with you. Watching with interest. Bitcoin is cheap now, and Uno falling vs Btc is a rare opportunity, especially for new fiat. If our whale hadn't unloaded 3k Uno, Un would have a solid place in the 20's on CMC. The community only needs to absorb 2k cheap uno and it's right back. That's nothing, really. Less than 1 btc at this moment buys it up to .007.  My concern isn't the price, it's the volume. |

I've just spent an hour catching up on the latest scams on bct, twitter, etc.
Why do people jump into these scams. I mean... I know why, I guess. They always have, they always will. The pattern is just so predictable. It blows my mind how the scammers can do this over and over and over.
UNO is the eye of the altcoin hurricane. It's a calm, beautiful day in the eye, while all around rages the danger. No wonder the top 2 Uno wallets (#2  beneath the Cryptsy wallet) keep adding to their holdings. They understand all this. Crypto currency isn't just about who is on top for ten minutes today, it's about who is in this for the long term. UNO is vetted, long term crypto.

UNO hashrate has been above 30 ths a couple of days, but has come back down to about 20 ths today.  My earnings the past couple of days from 250 ghs at genesis-mining.  By the way, I noticed that Genesis-Mining has scrypt contracts available for sale right now. |

Highly-Hesitant Forecasts
(Can anyone living in the U.S. comment on the supposed consumer-confidence boom being reported by the mainstream press? It’s a pivotal piece of data.)
Consumer's are confident in the US because they have more money to spend due to low gasoline prices, which for me right now are about $2.39/gallon. Unemployment continues to decline as business expansion continues, driven by low interest rates and cheap energy costs. From my perspective: the easiest way for U.S. & it's petro dictators to punish Russia is to push oil prices way down and keep it there for an extended period. I think this is a geopolitical drama being played out for very specific reasons. How convenient that it happened just in time for U.S. consumers to spend it all on Christmas presents. If US shale oil is contributing to this downward price pressure, it will be interesting to watch how long US oil companies are willing to continue extracting it at a big loss. No doubt some help will be forthcoming from Uncle Sam soon. Keep an eye on the number of oil rigs operating in North Dakota in the months ahead. |
