2043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SMBR] Sembro Token ITO (Bittrex) on: October 14, 2014, 11:45:44 AM
What % is pre-mined?? What does ITO stand for?thnx.

ITO=Initial Token Offering. Similiar to ICO just different wording. Let us know if you have any other questions!
So, there are really people out there who think that "ICO" stands for "Initial Coin Offering"? Lol.

2014-10-13 - News
Reading the outstanding todo list makes me remember that I wanted to upload a minimal version to my server, so users can have a look. After considering a lot, I decided to wait a bit more with that. The reasons are as follows:
  • I need the private keys, and always taking care not to leak any security sensitive information of my accounts is a bit too much for me right now. I want to focus on development
  • Also, I'm currently about to code some nice features (see current screenshot in the OP). I have some great ideas on how to bring this project forward; a lot of amazing stuff came into my mind. As soon as it is official, I'll let you know. Smiley
Further updates are coming, so if there are any guys in here who care or are at least interested in this project: I'm still developing as much as my spare time allows for.
But I'd like to publish a project which has some useful features for the users right from the beginning on - I don't want you to be happy about some nice JavaScript libraries being used; I want you to be happy because you can actually use this project for your personal benefits. And as soon as such a state can be called current, I'll upload the project on my server.

Until then, here is a screenshot of the feature I'm currently working on: comparing the volumes of the top ten coins of different exchanges (at the moment, there is only Bittrex being listed). Clicking a slice on the pie chart pulls the slice out of the chart and separates it into the current amount of open buy- and sell orders, so one can see where the volume is coming from and if it looks sustainable.
The different colors on the pie chart have corresponding colors in the table rows underneath. This table shows information about all top ten coins, and with the (slightly lighter) color codes, it's easier to know which row corresponds to what part of the table. Also, it has a decent rainbow look. Wink

Some keywords for future releases: historical data, pattern recognization, newsletter. Rest is up to your imagination. Wink

2045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The new thread about ARCH since the old was locked. Scam? on: October 07, 2014, 09:54:48 AM
ArchScam: you just don't get it. Servers are getting hacked automatically - I bet EVERY hoster with a couple of customers had a box being hacked/exploited to host malware, phishing, cryptocurrency miners. It just happens…

And if you saw the amount of domains my boss owns (for his customers)… would you also call me a scammer?
Also: how are all people equal here? I noticed different.

Two more things:
1. ArchScam: show up under your real nickname.
2. BTCarchitect: unlock this thread. There is no information released that could harm you, whereas locking the thread does, for fuck's sake.
2046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The new thread about ARCH since the old was locked. Scam? on: October 07, 2014, 09:11:42 AM
It's interesting how many idiots are around here. I'm mainly referring to the OP and those who back it. OP, your post was not worth the time. Really.

.edit:
BTCarchitect, locking the original thread was a dumb move. Regardless of those clowns here, BCT is the gathering place of many people potentially interested in your project. If you lock the topic, you lock those people out, efficiently. I don't know if your ego is big enough to compensate that. Wink
2047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ARCHcoin [ARCH] – The Profit Network on: October 06, 2014, 08:44:18 AM
Has anyone mined a PoS block? My coins are matured and it says 'Your weight is XXXX, Network weight is 0, expected time to earn reward is 0 seconds', but no blocks are being hit.

In 1965 the average age of a troll was 27, in 2014 it was nineteen n-n-n-nineteen...

You have coins. Maybe you could try answering my legitimate question instead of suggesting I have ulterior motives.
So, you don't like my answer? ^^

It's like PoW and depends a bit on luck. Sometimes you get more PoS blocks and sometimes less. Just be patient. Smiley

2050  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Whale Watchers trading group on: October 02, 2014, 10:42:42 PM
i like the name of the group alot

problems with that is always - if you can gain enogh trust from people to believe you know what u are doing

u will have to do alot of public trades for this

I have been in Whale Watchers for a couple weeks now, and knightlife999 has definitely gained my trust!

He spends a lot of time putting out alt coin picks (with analysis) twice a week for the group. He gives safe entry and exit points for each coin. He also passes on his many years of experience in the Forex markets to younger traders like myself. I have noticed his technical analysis tends to hold up well with the larger market cap coins.

The group is also full of people with different backgrounds and skill sets. Naturally, group chat leads to interesting perspectives//ideas.

I think the group is well worth the cost. Any crypto trader that is not already in a group should definitely consider joining Whale Watchers.

-IceJelly

^ This. Plus:

We have good tutorials and friendly, helpful people in the chats. There is a lot of knowledge being gathered and I learned a lot in the couple of weeks I'm there. knightlife999 gives sound, research-backed advice and he is really dedicated to the group.

Knowing which coins are profitable is definitely an advantage. Some days after joining, I realized how fucking hard it is to "survive" in the crypto world when being alone. I'd almost say it's impossible, as probably noone is able to keep up with all the new coins, plus knowing which coin is backed by whom. Being in a group makes this much more easy, as almost everyone has something to contribute. This reduces the chances of going mad because of an information overflow drastically. Wink

The Altcoin picks work out well - even in this neverending Bitcoin downtrend crisis, heh.
So yeah, the group is really worth the money. For sure.

I'd say while many groups (those PnD ones) can be considered destructive (to the market and often also to their own members), this one is definitely constructive.

Learning how to trade right and make constant profit is the goal and I'm happy to be there.

Or:

wife = Jorrr
husband = Jorrr's wife, beating him constantly for his misinvestment. ^^

@Jorrr, scnr. Don't want to attack you; this just came to my mind when reading the post above.
2052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ARCHcoin [ARCH] – The Profit Network on: October 01, 2014, 09:28:09 PM
The amount of idiocracy in this thread is rediculous.
Good joke, thank you. Had a good laugh. Cheesy
2053  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ARCHcoin [ARCH] – The Profit Network on: October 01, 2014, 01:27:40 PM
No, seems correct. Here is the full list of all participants: http://crowdsale.archcoin.co/index.html

Took me a loooooong search to find this information. No, wait. It was in the first post of this thread. ^^
2054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ARCHcoin [ARCH] – The Profit Network on: October 01, 2014, 11:10:09 AM
Is my Wallet supposed to be synching?

Eh, yeah? I already received my arch, sending it to trex as we speak.
You should really consider putting a smiley at the end of your post. Wink
2055  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ARCHcoin [ARCH] – The Profit Network on: September 30, 2014, 09:34:49 PM

I may have stuffed up here, i did two additional transactions last night to make a total of 3 deposits. Instead of going back through the process I used the same deposit address for the 3rd transaction as I did for the second and it has not shown up, will it come through eventually?

I think that's the way it is thought. I also sent my transactions to the same address. I think you'll be fine, as long as you were not too late.
2056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Halcyon - x15 POS - Decentral Anon - Mintpal v2.0 - Website 9/29 on: September 30, 2014, 09:10:20 PM
Any news from Mintpal?
I do not really like what I can see on the chart.
MintPal tweeted that they'll be up and running before Friday.
2057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ARCHcoin [ARCH] – The Profit Network on: September 30, 2014, 08:39:34 PM
I'm impressed about the accuracy of the initial estimate of ~1000BTC. Smiley

I'm not worried. Smiley
But thanks.

There's a lot of coins going down, at the moment… it'll change, probably.

Why does market dump when I produce proof of my hard work? This happened when I released the peersend anonymous function also.

 Huh

Welcome to market manipulation 101

+1, pure manipulation  Smiley When the peersend v.2 and nootropics store will come out the price will skyrocket I'm sure! Oh, and Mintpal  2.0 should also help...
Yep, MintPal v2 was announced via twitter for before friday:
