1801  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: P2SH addresses: need some help understanding (0.01BTC reward) on: September 14, 2015, 07:26:56 PM
The 3 addresses are p2sh which are not created the way you did it. In fact, I don't know if there is a way to create vanity p2sh addresses.
Hm, maybe I confused things. I should have inserted the command I used to create them.
Quote
allyourbase@shitbook ~/Source/bitcoin-related/vanitygen $ ./vanitygen -i -F script
3FuckUp
Difficulty: 478688906
Pattern: 3FuckUp                                                               s
P2SHAddress: 3FuckUpFfo28hxXb89C19Az2kfGh7JhGY4
Address: 19JFoRyGrUVN18qGhBSwvj6Cpt8pzTpUCn
Privkey: 5Th15I5n0tMyPr1v47eK3yS0noN3edT0TrY1fItW0rKstH4nKy4
There are only two addresses being involved in the creation process (both in bold print). Creating addresses starting with "3" is accomplished using "-F script" parameter.
1802  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / P2SH addresses: need some help understanding (0.01BTC reward) on: September 14, 2015, 06:55:42 PM
Hey guys,

it was just today that I recalled that there is something like "Bitcoin addresses starting with a 3". And as I like 3 more than 1, I thought it would be "cool" to have a similar address, created by vanitygen, as I already own, but starting with a 3.

I already own one with the pattern "FuckUp…", and so I created one with "3FuckUp…".

After successful creation, I got this output:
Code:
3FuckUp
Difficulty: 478688906
Pattern: 3FuckUp                                                               s
P2SHAddress: 3FuckUpFfo28hxXb89C19Az2kfGh7JhGY4
Address: 19JFoRyGrUVN18qGhBSwvj6Cpt8pzTpUCn
Privkey: 5Th15I5n0tMyPr1v47eK3yS0noN3edT0TrY1fItW0rKstH4nKy4
Then, I imported the key using importprivkey, which showed me the address "19JFoRyGrUVN18qGhBSwvj6Cpt8pzTpUCn" in the wallet:
Code:
importprivkey 5Th15I5n0tMyPr1v47eK3yS0noN3edT0TrY1fItW0rKstH4nKy4
Now, I read that, to be able to use the "cool" 3FuckUp address, I have to:
Code:
addmultisigaddress 1 [\"19JFoRyGrUVN18qGhBSwvj6Cpt8pzTpUCn\"]
Et voilà, the wallet (Bitcoin-qt) showed me "3FuckUpFfo28hxXb89C19Az2kfGh7JhGY4" in the list of my addresses I own. I sent a small amount its way, and it shows as received (see 3FuckUp link above).

Now, as the blockchain on my computer is still more than one year behind, I don't want to wait seven weeks to find out myself when the blockchain has completely downloaded, eventualls, I have some questions:
  • When I'm completely synced, will I be able to spend from the 3FuckUp address just like from any other (starting with 1) address?
  • What's the purpose of the 19JFoRyGrUVN18qGhBSwvj6Cpt8pzTpUCn address which was generated while creating the 3FuckUp one? Are both addresses connected in some way?
  • I imported the private key into my mobile Mycelium wallet. And, more or less expectedly, it shows me the 19JFoRyGrUVN18qGhBSwvj6Cpt8pzTpUCn address. Can I get my Mycelium wallet to also show the 3FuckUp one?
I read quite some literature about the P2SH addresses, which led me from contracts to MultiSig and other things on the Bitcoin wiki. To be honest, I did not understand much - there are some explanations and images of Bob and Alice trying to explain things, but I am yet lacking some "real life user experience" material. E.g. "I created P2SH address "a" for purpose "b", got standard BTC address "c" and used all those things in use case "d" which looked like "e".

Can anyone help?
As a thank you, I'm offering 0.01 BTC for the first one who can answer me this in a way I can understand it. It's not much, but people do things here for way less. Smiley
1803  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: An apology makes a scammer more trustable? on: September 12, 2015, 10:59:32 PM

You have shown that you two had a problem communicating clearly. Opening a thread where you present that as "proofs" is not going to help how?

This was also a communication problem?

I guess so.

You sent the code after I said I would be willing to pay you 0.035 for your example.

You said 0.125 for your work and i asked for a example. I got lower offers with the same message sent to everyone. Everyone "got started" on the example for me. You said you started on the example. I said I will be willing to pay 0.035 for the finished product as thats the lowest rate for better quality work. you replied acknowledging my standing 0.035 offer. you delivered the code, I paid my 0.035 like I said I would.
May I ask what kind of work you get for a measly rate of 0.03 BTC? I wouldn't even open my IDE for that.

.edit:
Just saw that it's about a signature. 0.12 seems more appropriate.
1804  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading bots and profitability - any long term experiences? on: September 11, 2015, 01:11:33 PM
What's happening here, for fuck's sake! I wanted to talk about long term experience with automated trading software. Is that possible, guys?
1805  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading bots and profitability - any long term experiences? on: September 11, 2015, 08:18:29 AM
well is good to see people working into bots does anyone use them for a long time as you asking? making 1% daily is a great income means 30% montly soo if those bots keeps working for sure you must resell and maybe some free to test mode, only btc at it altcoins nothing?
At the moment, the bot is in pause mode, because the current market situation is not what it's programmed to handle.

In general, you can imagine the bot consisting of two "modes" (with one not yet being implemented), or strategies, if you like:
  • Trading sideways, when the market is relatively calm with up -and downswings which occur in a stable range: that's what it handles best. I haven't seen anything yet that takes that much out of a market situation like this - most bots generate little profit in such times.
  • Trading trends/volatility: that's probably what most bots do, and they do it well, most of the time. I haven't implemented that, yet, but I thought about a simple EMA based strategy which buys and sells at certain conditions.

Now the art is to determine the market conditions correctly, so the bot switches modes as needed. I have already thought about a concept which I'm currently bringing to paper.
Soon, I will start a test mode for the bot which allows it to continue trading the first strategy, and it only notifies me via email when the market conditions have changed. I will monitor this for a while, and if it switches its strategies nicely and reliably, I will finish this feature.

At the moment, with only the first strategy being implemented, the bot is profitable in sideways movements, but not so much when trending occurs. In fact, trends can destroy former profits, or, better: prevent the bot from continuing to trade.

I'll leave my posts here as I'm making progress.

hello,
how this ponzi going? is still waiting for new investor to move on? is it still long queue in here?
feel wanna invest some in here, but hopefully wont take long time.. anyway the sites look nice and simple.

Simple. Don't invest more then you can't spend. (Notice I didn't say "invest more then you can afford to lose" You WILL geti back. but who knows when)

Invest some coin, wait for the rewards.
Yep. I already got paid back three times, fourth and fifth time coming soon. This time, it took a while, but it was always nice forgetting about this ponzi and some days later, I checked my wallet and had some BTC inside. Smiley

While it happens from time to time, you have to admin that alone those words, "only 1500% up", sound delusional, don't they? Wink
Such increases are really rare cases.

I want the truth thats all

and it never go to 5m, hit circ ever 100k?

It will, in time. And no, you do not want any truth, you are just annoying  Smiley  Really, Bram, I hope you are better than this.

Didn't you tell me you did break-even on CIRC ? Then why are you here trolling ? This is silly, stop it please.
5m? I'd reconsider this post before telling anybody else that his reply is silly. Wink
With the low supply, there is still plenty of upwards room left, but 5m is delusional, imho.

Raxmouse: you're a dork, sir.

If you would warn others, it would be way more efficient to do so by bringing arguments. In fact, if people smell scam somewhere, I'm one of the few who pay attention, increasing my own due diligence etc.
You're posting max sized text and you're beyond annoying. I have nobody on my ignore list (because I don't think ignoring someone will help in any way… we had trolls calling users assholes and calling other names - even that didn't make me put them on my ignore list), but you're the first user who made me consider using this function.

So please, for fuck's sake, stop embarassing yourself by showing others your low intellect. Bring some arguments or gtfo.
You can always start an own thread here. Though I suppose you'll be the only one posting there.

Some of the posts in this thread are extremely disturbing.
This HRT character (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=254606) must not have any children at all and seems to have some serious mental illness. Entertaining the psychopath is the wrong thing to do.
I'd rather a moderated thread as a precaution to help keep the psychopath at bay Smiley
Yeah, he has some serious mental illness. Probably daddy didn't treat him right when he was young, and now, he's abusing the vocab which was used on him on others. I guess he is something between 12 and 14 years (but most 12-14 yo humans I knew knew to behave better).

Best to ignore him.

I think his daddy used a little more than just vocab on young hrt, if you know what I mean.

Here's what his daddy did to him

Feel free to interpret "didn't treat him right" however you want. ^^
Whatever the case is, he is a really annoying person. Maybe even younger than twelve.

Can we get back on topic here?
Yeah, I just spent half an hour shaking my head about how retarded those guys have become here.
Then, I asked myself why I'm actually reading this shit.

Because it is fun to contemplate chaos build itself (antinomical, but who cares ? It's chaos !) ?
Believe me, this was not fun at all. And I know how fun works. A lot. I'm Mr. Fun by second name! Sad

Funny all dem shrimps whoring themselves out to the biggest whore of crypto land, that little man Bob  Cheesy His pump talks are getting a little too obvious, lol talking about me missing 1000 percent. I bought circ @ 7k, it never even came close to 70k, could have sold above 40k, true, but it's not a 1000 percent, perhaps Bob needs a little education.  Grin
Bittrex lowest price: 5016sat. Highest price: 48050.
That's exactly 957,93460925% to me. Not exactly 1000%, but pretty close for me.

Trex won't add this coin. They have be informed about this scam Wink

It's 3 btc to be listed on Bittrex, what makes you think they wont add it, even if it was a scam when the payday of adding it would be so substantial that I don't see any way they cant.
Would you be willing to make a small wager on if they add it or not?
I'd be interested in a small 2 or 3 btc bet.

I'd be in for sure; the only problem is that I'm also quite certain that they'll add this coin.

ICO sold out in 60 seconds?  Huh

How is that even possible?
Orders above 0.03BTC/BOT were cancelled on start. Because (I suppose) of the low supply and the - compared to other coins - cheap price, people set their buy orders at 0.03. Some more, some less. When the ICO started, the 120BTC worth of BOT were poured over the buy orders at 0.03.

If I recall correctly, there were ~140BTC of buy orders there, and BOT of 120BTC value was sold. I doubt it was even 60 or 30 seconds; it must have been sold instantly.

All correct except it was 0.003 per BOT

The ICO cap was 120 BTC for 40000 BOT so they had to sell them at what was stated otherwise the ICO would have been invalid

Right, my bad. Thanks for rectifying this.
