Hey, I cannot even remember when that video was taken. As you can clearly see, I was a bit out of my senses. Wink
1942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [RBY] ★★ Rubycoin ★★ A precious gem for the digital age on: April 23, 2015, 01:58:37 PM
Dude, I can't believe the marketcap for this coin is still so low at $60k. Seriously.
Just bought myself 50k RBY.

Can't wait to try this TraderDaddy out after the new release. I'll be waiting!
TY!
I feel the same way about this coin. I bought some during the last days.
What I like is that the developer seems to be very active, answering questions and the concept of the coin seems solid. I'm eager to try traderdaddy, too!

So, keep up the good work! :-)
1943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TRON] Positron - SHA256 - #1 Alt Vol - #altsareback - More Info Released on: April 22, 2015, 01:59:42 PM
Hello i have a noob question:

to stake your coins you need to have the computer ON, am i right?

Yes, connected to internet also open wallet and unlocked (encrypt wallet) back up wallet.dat too

I am not sure if I understood that "dynamic POS" right. The block payout (where are we currently, 20TROn a block?) occurs, regardless what amount of TRON you hold in your wallet, is that correct? The coins just need to reach maturity?

Thanks in advance. Smiley
1944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CannabisCoin [CANN][X11][Official][2] Developments & Discussions on: April 21, 2015, 08:41:17 AM
Yep, I also see CANN as one of the very few altcoins with long term potential. Actually, I only see two: CANN and ARCH, because both connect the crypto world with the real world, offering a true value. Might be that there are other altcoins with good potential and I just have not heard of them.

I think trading CANN for the profits is okay, everyone has to make this decision for himself. I have made a good profit during the last days, but I'm still keeping a certain amount of coins, just because I believe in this project and I think it deserves support. Smiley

I'm wondering if we gonna have another dump later today?

Already tired of the landfill. Now photophase and up. Downstairs is full of BTC, it's all the same, what to give away for free.
Hey,

sorry for off topic, but are you (partly) using Google Translate? Sometimes, I have problems understanding your posts (but I'm trying, heh). No offense, I'm just asking out of interest and don't want to attack your language. Smiley
I thought it was noticeably long. Not only Google. Sometimes the translation is disgusting, as you can see. Sometimes it's funny )
Heh, thanks for your reply. But even though translations are bad, sometimes, they do a very good job, compared to earlier times. Great that people who e.g. don't speak English now have the ability to communicate on an English board. Smiley

Hello everyone. How to mine remaining TRON coins?

staking. You would need to buy coins and then stake them

What do you mean about staking? placing my coins into pc wallet and look at them?

Yes stare at them at all times.  Or, hire a family member to stare at them at all times.  Only when they're observable do they qualify for staking.  Otherwise, if not observed, no staking can take place because the coins are both there and not there at the same time.  Only when observed do they become measurable, hence, stakeable.  See Schrodinger's cat for a better explanation.  Thank you.
What a great read.
Both, I mean. Your post and Robert Anton Wilson's book. Smiley

The exact same thing happened with Utilitycoin guys. Philipvdlinde wants out. This is gonna dump soon, really soon.

Don't say I didn't warn ya.
Lol, he doesn't even own that many coins. No worries here, I think.
1949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CRAVE 1st POS Masternodes | Dark Assets | Markets Soon =Embrace The Dark= on: April 13, 2015, 07:41:51 PM
@allyouracid : i'm not attacking you when I say that you have your "own twisted reality"... nor do i want to find clues in other coins messy ann.

I'm just trying to understand : you have a vested interest in "warning" others here, hence why I used "unclear agenda" ....
Why would someone like you feel it's the right thing to do to "warn" others and since days now spent hours replying here, entering into many dramas, quoting some very specific posts that meet your goals, etc... etc...

please, don't re-quote all your posts just to make your point, because once again it will look fishy, but just answer in few sentences why you are doing that, why you feel it's the right thing to do (god call?), why you want to get remembered as "being/proven right", to make history ?

I'm not shitting on other threads, why you? it's not a kindergarden here, most of us here are adults, and if under 18yo, knows the crypto game.

Is it really that hard to understand that, if someone witnessed all this crap before, that he feels that it's the right thing to warn others?
If so, that's a really sad world here.

If an old lady falls on the street, I am helping her up again. Is that fishy, too? I really don't understand that logic, and I also don't care about being proven right. I just think that it's not right to fool a whole community to buy into some orchestrated mess, just to profit from them. Just have a look at the threads of coins where all this happened. Can you even imagine what kind of mess those pump&dumpers leave behind?

My interest in crypto is sincere, and I think it has the potential to do a lot of changes in the world. Hell, it even does, already! And if some "hours" (I don't think I already spent hours here, but not sure though… doesn't matter, anyway) of posting can prevent at least some guys from saying "fuck crypto, I'm out" because their money was taken for the tenth time, it was worth the effort.

I can understand that, in a board which is nearly 100% profit driven, where everybody rips off his neighbor, even sells his grandma for a few bucks, that it's hard to realize that there are actually people out there who do things out of altruistic reasons. I cannot even blame the users here. They got shat into their faces so often, so it's only natural to have a huge amount of skepticism. But I can assure you, those people exist. They're hard to find, but they're there.

Btw, I really have the feeling that most in here are not adults (without wanting to insult anyone… but have you read all those cheerleading posts, ignoring anything that users - and I'm not mainly talking about myself here - are providing?). At least, many don't behave this way.

1950  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CRAVE 0.52M, Dark Assets = Embrace The Dark = MASTERNODE HARDFORK APR 8 on: April 13, 2015, 05:39:17 PM

I have no benefits of trolling any project, but I am really sick of all those scams which take money from all the users. Though I am pretty confident that many of you don't want to hear what I am telling you, I am even more confident that in some months, at least some of you remember what I wrote. This will be the few who are not learning resistant. I'd be happy about a private message then, telling me that you have learned from the past mistakes and that you were - at least in retrospective - glad to have read what I wrote.
I won't even reply with "I told you so" - I'm not that kind of person. I will be telling you that I am feeling happy for you for not falling prey to Alty and his deceptive partners again.

The issue is this level of paranoia is getting bizarre, first ICM is Bob, now he is Alty. Next people will say he is Wolong, or Bryce Weiner, heck he might even be Josh Garza he is everyone!

Also Alty is a regular and investor in #Shadowcash now, why would he latch on to the Shadow project then go create Crave and have it attacked by other SDC investors? It makes no sense, what is the play here...
Okay, when I first mentioned Alty, it was a guess, because nearly anything here looks like it used to look back in the cloak days. My first post mentioning Alty makes that, iirc, clear that it's just a guess, should have stressed it a bit more.
Nevertheless, this looks scammy all the way down. The parallels are there.

@allyouracid

You're like people that all believe in fantasy "gods"

You talk a lot of b.s. but do not offer much solid proof.

This is opensource,  if worse comes to worse..  we can fork and keep with the original design/roadmap/intentions.
See my previous post. I have explained where you can find proof.
Also, just because it is open source, this does not - at least in my opinion - justify the devs and their crew stealing money from you. Didn't you work hard for what you earned?

1. There is no proof of what you say in previous posts,  please prove dev is also under which names you speak of.

Quote
the devs and their crew stealing money from you.

2.  So you have proof that they are "stealing money from me" ?  Where..  I've actually done nothing but make money from this coin!

No proof.  Just your colored viewpoints/opinions.

Because of the extreme level of ignorance and as you seem to be someone who does not care if others lose money, as long as you make your profits, I refuse to answer your post in detail.

We should request that ICM fixes the github and gives proper credit to the prior contributors of the code base. Could you do this for the community industrialcoinmagic?
This would be a good chance to prove yourself as being a good and competent developer that is responsive to the community.
I would personally buy the rest that i need for a masternode if you did this, since it would greatly increase my confidence in CRAVE and i am sure many others would feel the same way. The way the github looks now is just unprofessional and does not inspire confidence, please fix the github dev and give proper credit to the prior contributors of the code base, it is the right thing to do.

Seems he has disapeared and he broke promise of giving an update today to go watch movies.
Just have a look at the cloak thread. It's the same thing that happened there. Alty a.k.a. ICM a.k.a. whatnotelse will now slowly subside from the community. In a couple of weeks, there will be a minor pump (which won't even get nearly close to previous highs) to get more of your coins (not crave, but the real ones: Bitcoin) and then, the coin will be left to die a slow death.

I know it's hard to realize to have misinvested. Trust me, I know this feeling very, very well. But you (the community in this thread in general, not the user I'm quoting) should at least not bring those into discredit who try to warn you, because they have experienced and witnessed this whole mess over and over again.

I don't know who it was, but telling me "you know where the door is" when all I am doing is telling people the facts which I have seen when cloak happened (heck, they're even using the same forum… all this old crap is being recycled over and over, and nobody even cares!), without attacking anybody personally is either just unthankfulness, ignorance or a shill account of Bobo the clown.

huh Huh  where are the facts?  all I see is your twisted reality with an unclear agenda.  Undecided

My agenda is very clear: warning people to fall for the mistakes others have fallen for. Even though it is a bit late - I apologize for that - because I discovered this thread and the whole coin a bit late.

What you can do: you can check my post history. I'm not that kind of person that trolls around in threads to just bring projects in miscredit for no reason.

What I can do: I can tell you what I have seen in the past and that my alarm bells are ringing for various (already stated) reasons.

What I will not do: search the whole cloak thread for you just to answer your "where are the facts?" question. People who are concerned about their investments should be able to do that theirselves.

What else you can do: you can either continue to call that what I'm writing "twisted reality" (where are your facts, anyway?), or you can take the time to research the cloak thread. Search for the posts that contain "cloaktalk.org", and maybe you're lucky enough to find a screenshot there.

Help someone what I'm doing wrong? Why do I get this message on the server?

Code:
sudo apt-get install build-essential libtool autotools-dev autoconf pkg-config libssl-dev libboost-all-dev automake libdb++-dev libssl-dev git
Code:
sudo aptitude install libminiupnpc-dev
Code:
git clone https://github.com/bitcoin/secp256k1
cd secp256k1
./autogen.sh
./configure
make
sudo make install
cd ..
ldconfig
wget http://104.207.135.209/craved
chmod 777 craved

STOP! Don't do that!!

Just for the sake of completeness, there are two things you should definitely avoid (for that reason, it's generally a bad idea to just copypaste code from some random web board and use it without knowing what it actually does):

  • Never mix apt-get and aptitude/synaptic/… (or, generally, don't mix the use of different package managers). The reason is simple: each has its own dependency management system, and each does it differently. You can easily end up with a broken system that way, because one package manager might not know what another one did to resolve dependencies.
Instead, use "sudo apt-get install libminiupnpc-dev" for the second installation command.
  • chmod 777 for a daemon software, especially on a server (!!!) is totally unnecessary and - in case of dubious software - definitely dangerous. Instead, go for "chmod u+rwo craved", which ensures that your user can read, write and execute the daemon, or, yet better, "chmod 744 craved". This way, you give the user (first number) read, write, execute (read = 4, write = 2, execute = 1) rights, as 4+2+1=7, and the group (second number) plus others (third number, which you definitely don't want to have having read, write and execute rights because this means that literally anyone can read, write and execute this file!) only read access (4).
If that does not work because your group is required to execute it, try 774, but definitely not 777.

Posts like the quoted ones are the reason for all those insecure machines on the web which pose a big danger to their "administrators" and the general public, because they help sending annoying spam mails when they got hacked, again. But on the other hand, they give me and the company I'm working for a job. Wink

I would like to welcome everyone to CRAVE Forum at https://cravetalk.org.

CRAVE Forum is a self governing community.  Neither I nor any moderators will ban or censor anyone; however, the community has the power to come together to flag trolls - eventually banning them from the community.

A handful of community members have already previewed the site and offered valuable feedback, thank you.  I very much feel that this site is "owned" by the community, not by me or any entity or organization.  I have no agenda, and will make every effort to respond to collective community requests and feedback, and align the site with ICM's vision for CRAVE.

Joined thank you looks awesome and a shout out to the admin DarkJack! Love the name man!

Thanks.  Feels like this thread has become all TMZ (Aw nah he di'in't!  Aw yes he di'!) when what this coin needs is a constructive community.  Hoping CRAVE Forum evolves in that direction.
You've got to be kidding me. This is the same forum software as cloak used.

So, now we know for sure, scammers involved are Bobo the clown (as the epic dumper) and Alty under a new nickname.
Fuck, this has really gone 100% retarded. And still people fall for that bullshit.

Guys, stop investing here. You WILL lose all your money.

What is everyone preparing for when its known that event is postponed and scheduled for later this year?
4/20 is a classic MJ date. It's a mixture of hype, expectations, worldwide events, pumps… and did I mention hype? Smiley

I'm not thinking that you're idiots. Not at all. I just experienced this before, over and over, and if one had listened to what I said, it would have been worth it.

Though I'm not even sure if I'm not talking to one of Bobo the clown's shill accounts.
Do with that information whatever you want, but don't accuse me of calling others idiots.

Shill account? Really? You're talking to me, not a newbie account.

What a shitty accusation. I hate bob more than anything in this forum, he was the cause of my first major loss in crypto with DCM.
Well, then sorry for that.

God dammit. I'm so annoyed with goody two shoes coming to this thread.

Screw you all.

People that are sticking around this thread are believers that buy this coin very cheap. Don't give lectures on losing money, cause none of us are losing money. You think we're a bunch of idiot who buy at the top 800k? We buy this coin very cheap. Most of us already profit from this coin.

You think you're smart? My ass. The smart one is guys like me who spend 5btc at 50k and sold them all at 600k.

I'm sick of reading smartasses warning about losing money. People who lose money don't post in this thread.

I will post this for the last time...

Do not make the same mistake as these idiots with cloak

They all bought at those levels thinking that they got cheap coins. When Bob dumps, the coin is done. PERIOD! Nobody has the balls to put thousands of bitcoins to pump this clone again. It wouldn't make any sense either, because there are so many bagholders that bought at 800k and they would dump in an instant at those prices.

IT'S DEAD. The manipulators already moved on another project.
Listen to this guy. I didn't like him, either, when I made the mistake of buying cloak. Because of the same reasons you probably don't want to hear what he has to say.
But I assure you, he is definitely right. Don't buy this coin. Just... don't.

If you still do, here is an early "I told you so".

Now that you have that off your chest, you know where the door is.
Yep, I'm out.
My intentions were good. But I guess you all have to learn that the hard way, like I had to, too. That's what "trading" in an unregulated world is like. It's just the unthankfulness which leaves a sad taste, here.

Hope all you guys did not waste too much of your money. And that you won't fall prey to Bobo the clown and his greedy dumbfucks again.
