1741  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: iz-nop.com | 100% Automated | 130% Return | Secure | Chat | 10+ BTC paid out. on: October 06, 2015, 09:47:04 PM
At the moment, there is just no incentive for users to deposit. Their coins would be locked away for months, if not forever; I guess the one who deposits now wouldn't live that long to actually see a return Cheesy

It's not that I'm negative with this game, it's just that it has already turned unprofitable. Everybody with a pair of eyes (or a screenreader) will notice this.

Now the dilemma you're in is that you promised that this game will stay online and that everybody will - theoretically - get paid if he just waits long enough. But the only way to get new deposits is to start a new round, which would violate the promise.

My suggestion to solve this: keep this instance of the game open and running, and maybe start a new (additional) variant of the game which is round based. Those who do deposit know (well, 90%, I guess) that if they're too late, their coins will be gone and the only option to make it back would be to enter early in the coming round.

Don't get me wrong. I really admire your enthusiasm towards this, even though… well, you see the list of "Transaction confirmed". Wink

http://www.richjerk.com

Is it a scam? cause it looks like so.

Yes, it is a scam.  You pay them $300 and they send you instructions on how to build a website and sell instructions for $300.
Really? I didn't manage to watch the videos that far.
However, this sounds somewhat recursive.
1743  Local / Projektentwicklung / Re: [ANN] & [DEV] SpreadBot 1000 der BTC Altcoin Trading Bot (v1.6 Release) on: October 06, 2015, 04:30:38 PM
Darkwinde, hast Du den Bot from scratch programmiert?

ja ist "from scratch" entwickelt.

Health Care & Support Logic
------------------------
Business Logic (Trading Strategie)
------------------------
API Access
------------------------
Exchange API-Calls & Database

Weiter so!

Hmm, maybe he should try and deposit again?  Cheesy

Siehe: http://coinfire.io/2015/10/04/federal-investigations-of-cryptsy-underway/

denkst du wir sollten unser coins abziehen
Mensch, wie viele Deutsch(sprachig)e bekannte Gesichter hier! Smiley

Will hier allerdings jetzt keine (möglicherweise unnötige) Panik anschieben. Vorsichtig wäre ich aber allemal.

Well, if there's some pathetic jerk wanting to tell me how to make millions™ online without really having to do anything, I'd clearly consider that a scam. I mean, just look at this guy. He probably asked his mom for a few bucks to rent the apartment for a few hours, so he can make this movie.

Just think of the movies as some kind of entertainment and you'll be fine.

Plus, if you need to rely on tutorials to build up such a service, I would strongly recommend not doing it at all. This can only cause you troubles.
1749  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitpaying.com POSSIBLE SCAM on: October 05, 2015, 10:13:52 AM
HYIP's are easy to detect. They always have "plans", like "up to 500$, 90 days, 75%", they use shady Russian paypal-like processors such as Payeer and Perfect Money. Now they use Bitcoin as well.

This site contains two posts which don't have any help in deciding where to invest in a legit way… Huh
1750  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Post bitcoin address of scammers here on: October 05, 2015, 10:03:06 AM
Now that's a BCT classic. Someone comes up with a proposal to at least help a little, and you guys end up talking about it, instead of just doing it.  Cheesy
1751  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam team revealed on: October 05, 2015, 09:57:10 AM
Thanks, OP! I'm sure it's because of this thread that one of our Scam Team members got busted. Hope you're proud of yourself, dude.

http://www.al.com/news/mobile/index.ssf/2015/02/couple_arrested_after_authorit.html

Quote
A Marlow couple was arrested Saturday after Baldwin County authorities found piles of fecal matter scattered throughout their mobile home.

Gilmer P. Edwards and Tana C. Brooks, both 44, were inside the home at 19094 Meadow Dove Lane, Lot 23 - south and west of Silverhill -- when authorities arrived to serve Edwards an arrest warrant for public intoxication, possession of drug paraphernalia and an alias warrant for fraudulent use of a credit card.

Upon arriving to the home, deputies were confronted by an overwhelming odor of fecal matter. Inside, they observed a large collection of household garbage as well as fecal matter, several cats and at least one dog which all appeared malnourished with open sores visible.
Did anybody watch the pictures linked?
That's what happens when you're too busy watching Bitcoin charts.

Sad to witness this board getting lower and lower.
Whoever wants to meet the dirtiest of human waste, join bitcointalk. They're all here. Sad

Sad state of affairs. Even the venerated Gleb Gamow has been outed as a scammer. Undecided
Interesting read, not only because Gleb seems to be that open about what happened.

It reminds me again to never do any business with anyone here. Hell, do most of the guys here even consider to pay when they purchased something?
1753  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam team revealed on: October 03, 2015, 10:56:09 AM
This thread is 0 for me
No proof no nothing
Take your time and show me some proof
For other is not my problem
I know my crimes in real life that I made
Waiting reply with proof.

Oh no you don't! If I'm goin' down, you're goin' down with me. Same true for our other partners in this racket listed in the OP, of which I would have to scroll to see who they are, but they know who they are, and so will I as soon as I post this then reread their names.

To refresh your memory, the above is proof that we met up to discuss our credit card scam a couple years ago somewhere in the Bahamas. I'm the dude on the far right with the longest beard.
After all, you still look sympathetic. Smiley

How much did this whole endeavour make you? And - maybe I'm overlooking something here - isn't it a bad idea to post pictures here publicly which possibly allow for identification?
1754  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: JayS icq 665430683 on: October 02, 2015, 08:24:51 PM
Yep. It can be very annoying. There are people who scam for as little as 0.01 BTC, and when it's clear that he scammed, he comes back to the thread, saying "my balls, your face".

Real lowlife scumbags, here. And lots of very intelligent, friendly users. Both at the same place. I always imagine this board as a kind of representation of our society, but somewhat more extreme. That's because of money being involved.

If you're here for the tech, and for Bitcoin itself, I almost recommend staying out of trading at all. It's sad, but the chances of getting scammed are higher than anywhere else.
And if you desperately want to trade here, try to pick one of the old members with very high reputation. But even that's far from a guarantee of not getting scammed.
1755  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: JayS icq 665430683 on: October 02, 2015, 04:42:44 PM
What an asshole.

Some hints for the next time: don't offer to send first right away. That makes you look vulnerable and prone to be scammed. Second: use escrow. There are lots of users doing escrow (even I would do it, if I'm asked). Some for free and some for a small fee.

Using escrow is a must if there's no trust being established before.

It's not meant to sound smart-assy, just some recommendations for the next time. Smiley
1756  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: JayS icq 665430683 on: October 02, 2015, 12:38:05 PM
There's an open scam accusation on him and still, you're sending money to him? How comes?
1757  Other / Off-topic / Re: Time Travel Signups on: October 02, 2015, 12:34:17 PM
For who doesn't know yet, The Doctor gifted his sonic screwdriver to a joung Davros(dark lord of Skaro and creator of the Daleks) so he had to create a replacement.

This was a truly amazing episode, btw!!
1758  Other / Off-topic / Re: Time Travel Signups on: October 02, 2015, 11:16:26 AM
Hmm. Just to make sure everything works flawlessly, did you consult The Doctor? We might ask him for a proper Sonic Screwdriver, just in case something goes wrong terribly.

Also, I have lost a book I gave to someone who moved places before having the chance to give it back to me. I would very much like to have this back. Could you do a stop in 1992 and prevent me from handing over that book to this guy?
1759  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you dress for work? on: October 02, 2015, 10:58:01 AM
Hehe, this is exactly my question.

I'm a web developer by profession, and when working in the company, I used to wear whatever suits the weather. In summer, light clothes, sometimes not even shoes. But since I'm doing home office, I'm glad whenever I manage to wear a pair of trousers. ^^
Just recently, I told my boss that we were doing Skype conversations with a customer where I only wore a shirt and shorts, but no trousers at all, because nobody would notice it, anyway. Cheesy
1760  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Amount of Bitcoin for a profit on Trading ? on: October 02, 2015, 08:39:12 AM
and look into investing in altcoins after carefully researching them.
Just learn by watching/reading tutorials, there are enough free resources out there!
Even though 0.1 BTC isn't that much, I would totally recommend against this. 99% of all Altcoins are pure scams and are constructed to rip people off. Even if it works out nicely once or twice, at some point, it'll work out for the other party involved and you get rid of your precious Bitcoin.
I fell prey to cloak, back in the days. I won't blame Bobsurplus - the only reason I failed was because I got greedy. Got decent returns in the first run and I thought "hell, I can repeat this easily", and then, the price fell and fell, and Alty visited the thread less and less often to update people, who got more and more delusional.

If you care to keep your BTC and maybe increase it, I'd stay away from Altcoins as far as possible. What do you think why scammers create them over and over? Because it makes good money for the users? Hell, no.
