2041  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Get All The Cryptocurrency News In One Place on: August 23, 2019, 10:43:37 PM
Website dissection has been done greatly, neat and clean as I like it. What I didn't get here is, what's the need for anyone to visit this website when they can just go, add an @nameofuser they're looking for on Twitter and get loads of news regarding that entity while you're just showcasing their first or second tweets? This maybe useful to those who follow those projects so if you can do something, can you even categorize the names of the projects in a drop down list and let us select whom we want to watch the tweets about?
2042  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Localbitcoins: Account has multiple failed logins from unknown IPs on: August 23, 2019, 09:58:40 PM
If I'm not wrong, they give us a set of codes which we need to write down? I've had my 2fa enabled on one of my accounts which used to be very active, but the image file that I saved on my offline PC got deleted by me accidentally. Is there any way you know to recover this 2fa thing there?

I've actually had no funds in it so I'm at least safe there (as I believe that even my 2fa could have been stolen if I may have gone online through that PC ever maybe, because I've an IMAGE saved of those codes).
2043  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: btc is slow!! Confimations problem on: August 23, 2019, 09:43:43 PM
Trolled,,??  Do I look like a troll???

There is problem if its slow its a problem!!

You came on a forum and said how much better ethereum was. What it makes up for in speed, it loses in security. One of their developers messed up some code and lead to a hack of several million, the same hasn't been done with Bitcoin recently.

And while Ethereum is more known for its centralization due to being controlled, Bitcoin is less likely to ever get centralized 100% because OP themselves claimed that he doesn't know who is the creator which means nobody controls BTC.

Quote
10 minutes isn't a long time to wait and the problem was extremely simple, if it's costing you too much to move your coins between exchanges and wallets, why are you not just leaving your funds on exchanges while trading with them and instead sending them to and from blockchain.com... Generally the fees from the exchange are also more expensive than the fees to the exchange from blockchain are they not?

I believe OP was just trying to categorize between apple and oranges and forgot that both of them have got totally different properties. There's one simple thing OP didn't understand and that's, blockchain is not something that can be run by a single entity and nobody controls it but miners. If they're to send their transactions for immediate confirmations, high fees are likely to be asked because if you expect superb services, you should be ready to pay higher for it (well not in the case of BTC). And about waiting for 10 mins, even we can't say when will the next block arrive so nobody here can guarantee the time it may take to confirm. OP, you wanted it in next block, it may get into 2nd or max 3rd block but no later than that.
2044  Economy / Reputation / Re: Game-protect flag on: August 22, 2019, 09:43:19 AM
I still think Game Protect should be banned. He is spamming the forum with bullshit which should be considered trolling (against the rules). He is also abusing the trust system (Against the rules in extreme cases) and I certainly believe this is an extreme case, not that I give a shit about his trust ratings but he is clearly just a troll or fully delusional person.

Well, don't get me wrong but we're all loving him for all the shit he's spreading here, else if he was to be barred from using the forum he would have been banned already by theymos. He's such a true entertainer that we can't stop ourselves from bumping and buzzing his thread around while talking to the ill-mannered guy who thinks that everyone of us are mentally ill, watch the comment below:

The biggest mistake online casino victims can do is listen to extremely mentally ill bitcointalk accounts like marlboroza!

Thanks for bumping this thread for more visibility! Any information about fullflush case?  Smiley

To my belief, he's just trying to add some extra spice but that's the same old one which now fades away the taste of the dish he's been presenting to our brains.
2045  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: GWATT - Not a finished project on: August 22, 2019, 09:09:21 AM
My lexicon will not have enough to understand, much less respond to you.

Aww kiddo, you need not to find me anything while I'm already watching your 2 YO kid-dish statements like the one below:

--snip--

Yes - now we are changing the office of the company
On the site the current address.

You've had been changing your team members (super stupid), you're changing your address just at the time you're being caught (hahaha okay somewhat acceptable), but what if you decide to just change your project completely some day and leave your old investors empty-handed asking them to invest more in your changed project if they want anything back from you  Roll Eyes

Trying to be oversmart won't help you here as your oversmartness is why you're facing all this chaos, you're caught doing the wrong things so stop pretending like you're innocent.

Okay, let's say I want to see you people to believe you, are you guys ready to go for an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session? This will help you to prove that the current team is real.
2046  Economy / Services / Re: Need 1 Indian user with good credit history who is having a credit card on: August 22, 2019, 08:48:18 AM
..I'm from India as well ..

That's odd, never saw you on the Indian section before. Why aren't you more active there? We can certainly use some experienced users engaging there more often..

The main cause for being inactive there is there's no moderation in that area of the forum after Benson Samuel left his authority. I've had been watching that section but nothing much caught my interest to post there. Trust me, you can't run a complete section/part of a forum with just 18-20 members making good posts there. I've not seen good amount of engagement between people there may be because as sardasa said, they might be scared of being trapped by officials just because Gov has the power to get us barred from using these services and even BTC. After their bullshit bill about banning cryptocurrencies in India, I believe people are trying to maintain a gap from crypto for some time till a final decision arrives.
2047  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blocked: The money transfer wars - Could bitcoin help? on: August 22, 2019, 08:35:41 AM
This situation had since been evolved when EU was moving towards being a highly gambling oriented continent. I believe that even Bitcoin can't help here except if everything goes transparent (centralized basically) and casinos decide to go against fiat completely. This is actually a golden opportunity for BTC to bang fiat and work even with regulations while still giving gamblers the chance to continue with their gambling activities. I had been truly waiting for such a problem to arise where people are left with no alternatives but to start using BTC whether an average person or a merchant.
2048  Economy / Gambling / Re: GOOD TIPSTER :) on: August 19, 2019, 11:28:11 AM
AFAIK, There are some services that are not available on a regular channel, on a VIP channel you can get some tips that have more potential to win. In the regular channel, you can still get free tips but it's not the same as VIP tips. The person who created this channel provides free tips to attract people into the paid channel.

Obviously, there are many channels available on telegram offering such services while hiding their actual stats as they only try to show wins (mostly) and don't discuss their losses there as that would end up in them losing their potential customers as well as their current paid customers. It's all a bullshit strategy and I don't understand how newbies and even some matured gamblers fall for these. Why to go for a tipster without any stats available when you've got many websites with so many tipsters to choose from, that too with each of their bets shown whether a win or a loss? You'll also get the opportunity to choose them based on their EV that's visible there.

Quote
However, it doesn't matter if the bet loses or wins they will always get profit.

No, they won't because nobody is paying them anything while getting free tips from them and they need to place that bet themselves and win it if they want to get profit from it. This statement fits when they give shit tips to their paid customers and don't give a damn whether it's a win or a loss, that's where their profit exists.
2049  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: GWATT - Not a finished project on: August 19, 2019, 11:10:34 AM
Not on those sites of such a phone.
The number has been purchased from the operator.
How about the fake team you presented on the website and the plagiarized whitepaper... can you explain?
Your project has so many red flags all over. I dunno how you are going to get away with this.

https://gwatt.io/ - Yes - then there was a test template. Exposed earlier time. Look our new site - now it passes beta testing.

Well, you've got enough time now to change everything back to originals after being caught only? What stopped you from mentioning or where did you mention about this plagiarized content that you're just going up for a ^test template^? Any evidence would be of help to you, but you're still caught red-handed here so stop murmuring like a kid who, when caught masturbating, starts crying hard in order to prove that he's sincere. Cheesy
2050  Economy / Services / Re: Need 1 Indian user with good credit history who is having a credit card on: August 18, 2019, 01:52:53 PM
Hi sardasa, I'm from India as well but unfortunately I don't have any credit cards with me (except Bajaj Finserv EMI Card which I don't think can be called as credit card  Huh)

But I've got few of my friends who have CCs and they may be interested to do this (if not done already and I'll first ask this to them). Can you share your telegram via PM or you just send me a message over there?

Till then, just a piece of an advice. If you really intend to get an Indian specifically, why not move this thread to our local India board here:

2051  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: To be a successful trader need help of a successful trader! on: August 16, 2019, 11:59:33 PM
That's true, but reading books and learning about these professional traders' values is not enough as we need to put them into action by linking those values to our real life routine and follow it almost every single day. That being said, I'd like to tell you that the biggest master of anyone is their experience. I'm not saying that we can't learn from big traders but, we're actually not learning from them but their experiences. They can share because they witnessed and learned it, you're starting your journey and they're like your seatbelts to help you get a safer journey ahead while they know that the road is too bumpy.
2052  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: AllStocks Crypto Exchange Now Offers NO TRADING FEES for 3 Months on: August 16, 2019, 11:40:52 PM
This exchange is neither CEX nor DEX, because it doesn't even have any "register/login" page available there and all I see there are just news and analysis provided by them. This looks like a cross advertisement to get visitors to their "news based" website while asking people to try out their "exchange" that doesn't even exist yet. I visited the order book section and saw nothing but just the price of BTC in USD, and no volume (nothing stated there likewise). You should learn the strategy to first complete everything in your website and then show up as it's about launching a project which is clearly not a joke. I'd refrain anyone from using their website until they give proper information about their website and mainly, complete it.
2053  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New Bitcoin mixer btcshaker.com mix your coins with integrity. on: August 16, 2019, 11:27:48 PM
Hey scammer, I've got a proposal for you.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5117328.0
Watch this thread, even some of best of the best type of mixers got defeated by this guy as he was able to break these services and deanonymize almost every transaction out there. If you can prove that your "jambler" has got the strength to stop him, I'd happily send you 2 cents out of my own pocket. Smiley
2054  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Zealand Gives Greenlight for Cryptocurrency Income and Salary Payments on: August 16, 2019, 10:40:31 PM
For those users who talk about cryptocurrencies volatility, there are two solutions.
1. Pay people with stablecoins.
2. Pay people with bitcoin or other volatile cryptocurrencies at a certain rate according to the market when salaries are being paid.

If they want use option 2, people should accept the risk or be paid by fiat.
I don't think there is a problem. It's like that you receive your salary with fiat and then you buy bitcoin. No one force you to risk.

The only part that gets these guys saved will be some spread and fees when they buy BTC if they choose it over their state based stable coin because it may be felt high on some when they purchase it, so they'd only do so if they want to keep their finances as well as purchases made - private and stop Govs know about it while using stable coins is exactly the same as they're using fiat and even more oriented towards letting their Govs have full control over knowing what do they do with those coins, when and where - that too very easily. Do this only when you want to show expenses in your income tax thing and save other money in BTC for future.
2055  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Hardware wallets still aren't secure, and they never will be. Use paper wallets on: August 16, 2019, 10:07:36 PM
If such a device can be stored in us, why can't we have some sort of device stored in our body too that can alarm Police by sending them necessary details like our live location as well as a message like "Emergency, need help, stuck somewhere!" that we may use by just tapping that area in our body whenever such scenario takes place?
Don't see why not, but I would assume something like that could be fairly easily countered by an attacker using a cell phone jammer or similar device.

Is there any such device that can counter the type of virtual chip I discussed above? I mean can an attacker actually come to know the exact body part and area where such a chip is stored? I have not heard of any such counter device as of yet, but if one is available, what is it?
2056  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: 0.1 BTC prize - Find Electrum pass by knowing both unecrypted+encrypted wallet? on: August 16, 2019, 09:17:03 AM
To this day no one replied to me with the password for the test encryption.

Apparently it is not possible to reverse a given encryption to it's known unecrypted state and find the password in the process.

How can someone even bruteforce it when you've already claimed it to be a very heavy password with at least 19 chars having everything from alphabets to numbers to symbols and even non alphabetical characters!

Why don't you try Dave's service as directed by LoyceV? We're literally not capable of getting your password to you because if it'd be so easy to get one, it'd be called a defect as well as defeat to the properties of cryptography and show that even this genre can't be trusted in terms of keeping our data/digital money safe. We don't have quantum computing technologies with us, else that prize would have been distributed till now.

Thanks to OP for this thread actually because this thing has made one thing clear to me (I was too confused about), that when you've got your seed phrase with you but you forget your password, it means that you've lost your chance on seeing your BTC again until you remember it or just get the privkeys if ever stored anywhere out of the wallet.
2057  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Hardware wallets still aren't secure, and they never will be. Use paper wallets on: August 16, 2019, 08:59:17 AM
@o_e_l_e_o,
I've heard somewhere about a virtual chip that can be inserted in a human body anywhere (most probably wrist) and they can generate invoices and even send/receive Bitcoins through the same. If that's true, even if the attackers know that "this guy is having Bitcoins" but are unsure where did he store them, how will they plan and attack such person? If such a device can be stored in us, why can't we have some sort of device stored in our body too that can alarm Police by sending them necessary details like our live location as well as a message like "Emergency, need help, stuck somewhere!" that we may use by just tapping that area in our body whenever such scenario takes place?
2058  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to buy Bitcoin with fiat without using a third party intermediary on: August 16, 2019, 08:36:57 AM
You don't need to find a trading partner via the Telegram group. This is an optional way to link up. You can find trading partners even here on the forum.

As mentioned in the article, using atomic swaps, a user can trade directly with another person. Using software that facilitates the trade (as these Dexes do) is not considered a third party. Throughout the entire process from fiat to Bitcoin, you do not need to trust your counterpart or an escrow. No reputation system needed.

Newbies may not want to do this but it is good for the community that this option is out there.

Wait, if anything is being used as a "medium of contact", how can't it be said as a third party involvement to settle things between two counterparties based on the data of the conversation that these third party apps have over cloud? And how will this atomic swap actually take place without the involvement of a software/app? Isn't that software itself considered to be a third party software that possesses the details of the transactions? Is this atomic swap some sort of a virtual box having two equal sides, one of which will take crypto in it and the other will take Fiat and swap immediately once both the equated amounts are filled in?
2059  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: HOW TO CONVERT NON SPENDABLE TO SPENDABLE BTC on: August 15, 2019, 09:33:18 AM
Hello, friends ,
I have a question I had a friend that did bitcoin mining for me but when it was done she transferred them back to me as non- spendable. How do I make them spendable?

How stupid of you if you watched this comment and still didn't act as required:

--snip--

The private key can be compared to a password and proves ‘ownership’ of certain addresses. Without this private key it is not possible to send any coins from the address since you are unable to prove your ownership of the address. As Bitcoin evangelist Andreas Antonopoulos said: “If you don’t own your private key, you don’t own your bitcoins.”

In this case it is not possible to convert your non spendable BTC to spendable BTC without the private key. We would therefore recommend that you search for a backup of the private key.

--snip--

The 2nd comment of this thread has got all the answers you needed. Friend mined BTC for you, so were you so lazy to even create a wallet with addresses of whose private keys would be held by you and ask your friend to direct all your BTC mining earnings to your own address? You guys trust others too much but internet is full of scams, so you better be careful even if you're trusting your local people because it's about money and BTC is volatile money.
2060  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: how to confirm bitcoin tx with my antminers s9 on: August 15, 2019, 08:49:54 AM
You can't point your antminers to a specified transaction and get confirmed on solo mining because as BitMaxz elaborated, you'll need to have a very high hashrate with chances of getting your transaction included in a block by first getting a block amongst all the competitors (here: pool mining). Still, if you're part of a pool, I guess they might give you VIP services like let you include specified number of transactions each month for free in their won blocks and that's the best option as of now. I used to see such services in Antpool and ViaBTC.
