2041  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: T17 bad clock counter error on: December 15, 2022, 11:26:35 AM
Because it doesn't work fine in other boards.

So it means the other boards are working fine but the other hash board is not.
Like I said above you have 3 different hash board voltages I believe you have 1 or 2 hash boards not running properly if the other hash board is working fine on that unit then you can dump the firmware of that hash board and flash it to other hash board that does not work properly. So that the control board will recognize it.

Because if the working hash board is not matched to other hash boards that do not work then it will run with some issues. So make sure they are match since you know already how to reprogram PIC then reprogram the other 1 or 2 hash boards that do not work properly. If they match and have another issue then post the new logs here and focus on that issue.

Here's some guidance on how to repair the hash board below just in case you need a guide.

2042  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is storing sensitive data on blockchain a wise idea? on: December 14, 2022, 11:31:29 PM
Quantum computer has less production compared to ASIC miner which helps the network more secured.
So if you have multiple quantum computers you can't just easily defeat and hack the blockchain due to the mass production of ASIC look at the network hash rate and difficulty it increases every day so no one can able to hack the blockchain.
And this has been discuss here multiple times so you must read them first to know why they can't hack the blockchain.
2043  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: How to install and operate bitcoin core wallet? on: December 14, 2022, 10:42:57 PM
That's the answer I need. I will uninstall some games from my hard drive to get some more free space. Anyway, its a plus for me that the core wallet doesn't utilize GPU.

What exactly do you want to achieve? Are you going to use a full node or is it just a wallet?
If it is just for a wallet you don't need so much space in your hard drive by default bitcoin core on the first install is pruned and it set it 2 Gb.

But if you want a full node with a high-speed syncing process switching to SSD is the recommended one with enough RAM.
2044  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: (WTB) Looking Proper Formula for Mining Calculator on: December 14, 2022, 10:12:04 PM
Check this formula below

Code:
(miner hashrate) ÷ (network hashrate) × (number of blocks per day) × (block reward).

Or this one below
Code:
((Your Hashrate / Network Hashrate) * (Block Reward * Block Time) * Coin Price) - (Price per kWh * Rig kWh Consumption) = Your expected net profit

Or check other formulas suggested here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3140185.msg32483696#msg32483696

And why look for paid service if the formula is already shared in Google and here on the forum?

If you are going to develop something then check this opensource one below

2045  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: T17 bad clock counter error on: December 14, 2022, 09:40:25 PM
If it works fine why do you need to fix the bad clock counter?
If it's running fine then ignore the error and keep mining.

Usually, if the voltages of the hash board for the s17/t17 series are different miner is not running normally mostly it stops the miner in a few minutes. Unless you are not using stock firmware?

Would you mind trying to flash the unit with BraiinsOS some issues can be fixed by switching to modded firmware like BraiinsOS?
2046  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: AvalonMiner 1246 on: December 14, 2022, 12:32:19 AM
Is it stuck on scanning? Would you mind to try to hold the func button for 15sec from your miner while the FMS tool is scanning if didn't work try the rst button?

If still stuck on scanning it might be your PC firewall blocking it from scanning. Try to disable the firewall first and try again.
2047  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: RI signal at 0 S9 on: December 14, 2022, 12:17:46 AM
Based on your image that's not a starting point check the diagram again from the link I provided above. Start from 00 or 01 until you found where the signal has gone.
And please follow the guide from the link I provided above it should help you how to fix them.
2048  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: T17 bad clock counter error on: December 13, 2022, 11:58:50 PM
Reballing is likely the same as resoldering what you did you just directly go to hardware without troubleshooting testing test points and understanding what the kernel logs say.

Now look at this log

Code:
2022-11-30 10:42:03 power_api.c:86:get_average_voltage: chain[0], voltage is: 17.891543
2022-11-30 10:42:05 power_api.c:86:get_average_voltage: chain[1], voltage is: 18.093603
2022-11-30 10:42:08 power_api.c:86:get_average_voltage: chain[2], voltage is: 18.271172

3 hashboard has different voltages if this is not the same it won't work or run normally flashing the hashboard PIC without a backup and use a random PIC file will always end up like this.
You will need the EEPROM tool or  hashboard code editor to match them

Here's what it looks like

2049  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Help choose a cryptocurrency exchanger! on: December 13, 2022, 01:05:46 PM
Are you talking about trading fees?

Why not use Binance exchange trading USDT, BTC and ETH is free with no trading fees except on other coins.

Or you might be talking about withdrawal fees? Which depends on what coin you are going to withdraw Binance is a bit expensive around $3 when withdrawing BTC but you can get a cheap fee if you withdraw BTC on another network like Bep20. Or reduce few by exchanging BTC to other coins with very cheap withdrawal fee.

Check binance withdrawal fee here https://www.binance.com/en/fee/cryptoFee
2050  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: RI signal at 0 S9 on: December 13, 2022, 12:55:07 PM
If it's a 0 RI signal I would suggest you check the diagram to check where the RI signal is gone you can check the diagram from this link below.

Follow the yellow line for RX(RI, RO) starting from the power source until you found the broken or missing parts or it could be no connection if it doesn't have a connection make a jumper.
2051  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Bitpay Big Exploit? - 323 btcs sent to unknown address on: December 12, 2022, 11:25:31 PM
Thanks for the message guys im digging further into this.

Have you tried my suggestion if you still have some balance on other addresses in your copay extracting private keys from your backup seed or wallet.json.aes is I think the best solution to take control of the address that still has funds and transfer it right away to another wallet like Electrum.
Never had any experience using copay but since they have backup seed or file there is still a chance that you can get the remaining funds in your wallet without contacting copay since they said they don't have control of your wallet.

So if I were you start extracting private keys from the seed or backup file before it transfers again to an unknown address.
2052  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: AvalonMiner 1246 on: December 12, 2022, 10:50:58 PM
It seems that the fan is not automatically running at high speed after the hash board reaches its temp limit.

Would you mind to try aging to calibrate the miner?
Use the FMS tool to aging the miner you can download the tool here https://canaan.io/service/447

There is 3 FMS tool only one has an aging button so download the 2nd or I think the 3rd one from that link.
2053  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: T17+ works perfectly but after a while one of hash board get down on: December 12, 2022, 10:22:16 PM
I have the same issue with my S9 and it seems that it can be fixed if I reboot the device. It seems to me that it is an software issue but I can't really clarify it. Did you find a solution for your issues?

If you feel that it's a software issue why not start to flash the unit and flash the hashboard with Pickit3? It should give you a bit of clarification without not doing it.
if it works after flashing then it's a software issue but if not it's related to a hardware issue.
2054  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Have anyone used coinplaza.it recently? on: December 12, 2022, 01:55:53 PM
It looks like it's too risky to exchange on that site due to anti-money laundering and a few terms under their TOS related to verification.

Maybe you can exchange small amounts but not good for big amounts I'm sure if you are going to exchange big amounts they are going to ask for KYC verification due to Anti-money laundering and if you fail to verify I don't know if you can get refunded.

Here check their legal disclaimer here https://www.coinplaza.it/legaldisclaimers
2055  Other / Off-topic / Re: Learn, correct the mistakes so that it wont hurt you in the future on: December 11, 2022, 11:57:56 PM
Why did you follow others' opinions if you already know the history of Bitcoin look at the cycle?
The first time, I experience the same thing due to greediness before I thought that the price of the coin that I hold would increase more but after a few months forgetting it I tried to check the price but it drop more than 3000% but still, I sold it at the low price because I need it and again this year 2021 it repeats the cycle but not for other coins like dogecoin and Cardano and other coins that increase in value I sold them not big time as before when the price of coins is increased more than 3000-5000%.
2056  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: How to install and operate bitcoin core wallet? on: December 11, 2022, 11:37:52 PM
Installing Bitcoin core doesn't need so much data space the current size of the blockchain is around 442 GB it needs at least 500 GB space but it requires big HDD space if you want to run a full node.

By default Bitcoin core on the first install is set to prune so if you have a small space in your laptop you can stay used pruned mode you can use the wallet as normally as a hot wallet but with limited features, unlike full node, you can use most of the RPC and console commands.
2057  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Binance Leaderboard | COPY MILLIONAIRES on: December 11, 2022, 05:11:49 PM

You should add a free trial period of sorts if possible. Trying out and subscribing for a brand-new product that one is not sure of the outcomes is quite tricky

I think it's risky to connect our API to an unknown or newly created website even if they are going to give a free trial I can't trust them anytime they can able to send API without our consent.

@Traderboard I suggest building trust first here since your service involves money and new we do not know how safe your service is. You can try to start by hiring a campaign manager and promote it here on the forum through the signature campaign with escrowed funds.
2058  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Making post for merit on: December 11, 2022, 04:47:06 PM
Take note merit system was implemented to combat spam there are lots of newbies before that keeps spamming or making garbage posts newbies who do not posts high quality and helpful won't receive merit and won't be able to rank up. It means newbies will stay as a newbie with limitations like posting images and wearing signature links.
And merit was implemented to force people to make helpful and high-quality posts.

Since this is a forum we need to help each other not focus to gain merit due to the signature campaign but focus on how you help the community.
2059  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Ftx who and when Will fund losses ? What's the further plan ? on: December 09, 2022, 11:52:21 PM
I'm sure he can't able to process it fast to pay people who lose on their exchange it would take months or a year to pay such a big loss. And I believe it would end nothing, unlike Binance after being hacked they pay their customers losses in a few weeks.

Why not follow google news for FTX updates? Use the keyword FTX then sort them by date to get the latest update and news about FTX.
2060  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How to control the maximum number of onion connections to my node? on: December 09, 2022, 11:32:29 PM
Have you tried to add addnode=192.168.0.X:8333 under your Bitcoin.conf?
X should be replaced with your full node IP where you want to connect to. You can also use the RPC command bitcoin-cli to addnode check this link below it will force you to connect to that node.

You can also use connect=192.168.0.X:8333 and put it in your bitcoin.conf same goes for the RPC command as a reference link above.
