2041  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: June 02, 2022, 12:51:59 PM
This could have happened before the Bivol fight, but then again they are afraid Canelo might lost to GGG in a trilogy and their chance to take a shot on Bivol might gone.
Well, what else can we expect, sports industry is more of a business now than an actual sport.
GGG is now 40, but I think he still have enough left in his tank to beat Canelo or bring the fight as close as possible.
It was Canelo who challenged Bivol, GGG was just waiting for Canelo's yes, and now that he failed against Bivol, he choose to fight GGG so he will beck in the winning track again, however, I don't think it's easy for him to beat GGG, though GGG is quite old but he is not a left over.
Yeah, because he was really ambitious and tries to go up in weight after he became an undisputed champion. Since he failed, his option now is GGG as for sure he believes he has a good chance to beat GGG again and make big money again. Boxing nowadays are business, and since people requested this fight, we are now getting it soon.
2042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] George Kambosos vs Devin Haney - Undisputed Lightweight Title - June 5 on: June 02, 2022, 12:20:21 PM

Odds at the moment if this fight goes the distance:

Haney 1.88  Kambosos 3.25
I haven't bet on a decision because Kambosos knockout record is underrated. His last three opponents were all former world champions and he knocked downed two of them. And I saw the e-mail champ getting hurt several times. Kambosos might stop this kid.

You should bet now, Kambasos is really underrated, and the fact that he is still undefeated now, that says a lot that he is really a good boxer. Haney is just favored because of his great boxing talent, but a knockout artist for me is fun to watch compared to a technical boxer that sometimes would only be boring.
2043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Shiba getting rugged like Luna? on: June 01, 2022, 11:16:30 PM
I think this can be a nightmare for shiba holders because when this happens usually the price of a token will collapse very deeply and can cause very deep losses, shiba I think is still experiencing a long sleep like doge coin price movements that occur only once in a few years , hopefully shiba can still survive.
It looks like Shiba Inu is just a hype project and turn like Doge, a meme coin stay together.
What the owner of Shiba did is somewhat disappointing making their investors and holder start to think about the negative and probably it starts a big sell-off. I'm certainly thinking of this, maybe it was not a big surprise because Shiba Inu originally belong to meme coins and seems no have a better future just like many others.
2044  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price with a 4 year cycle? on: May 31, 2022, 11:04:30 PM
Snip~
There are even experts that predicted btc to cross 1 million usd. If a prediction like that is possible then why not a 180k or a 200k when they are in fact more realistic than 1million? But like you I agree that it can not be achieved easily. Maybe not in the year 2025 but for 2025 I am only expecting a price of 80k up to 100k but I see that in order for the cycle to repeat we must first drop below 20k? Geez, so there is a big condition right there but if that is guaranteed then why not? And why will we be scared. We are in fact going to be happy because it allows us to accumulate at the best value before we finally take off to that expected price.
They can be experts in some areas, but not in crypto. Nobody had been able to predict right for the incoming, though we believe about Bullrun during halving, however, in the case, they think that Bitcoin will reach $180k or $1mil, that was overly speculated and far from reality.

The next halving could be somewhat full of surprise and excitement, yet I wasn't thinking of $180k but $100k is quite possible. However, we couldn't be confident enough to see such a huge spike as that only happens if whales and big investors will take action during that time.
2045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you also a holder of one of these coins? on: May 30, 2022, 09:17:23 PM
I have Apecoin but I just sell them once seeing the market start to decline. I was trying to save from the possible losses as I know that altcoin and most of these new projects will suffer more the consequences and losses in value so I converted it to BTC. And the rest of those coins you have mentioned OP, well, I don't know them, honestly.

If you have them till now OP, holding is really the thing you need to do and just hope that it will recover once the market does but we could not assume that it will be knowing the fact that many altcoins have died during the bear season.
2046  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Learning from the dip on: May 30, 2022, 08:57:33 PM
I bought some coin recently believing I’m buying from the dip but to my surprise this just keep dipping. MY DIP HAS TURNED TO THE DIPPER, EVEN THE DIPPEST.
...
You need to learn how to be patient as well.

There are only two possible scenarios that may happen after buying whether it goes up or turn dipper. Now since we are in the bear market, you can really expect more for the dumping trend rather than seeing it moving high.

If we are borrowing money for investment, just be sure that we have backup resources to pay the debts. We can just rely solely on crypto profit alone as we are not even sure about the market trend.
2047  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you saved your bitcoins in multiple wallets? on: May 30, 2022, 01:56:17 PM
My Bitcoin savings isn't that big but I have split them into two hardware wallets. I have learned from my previous mistake wherein I store most of my funds in a single wallet then I forgot and lost a copy of my private key. If I would hold more then I would save it in three different wallets. I believe that's the safest and wisest way to store our funds.
That is supposed to do in order to enhance safety and could assure that we don't lose all of our Bitcoin when hackers attacked us.
In fact, for me, I'd save some in Electrum (on PC)while the others are in mobile wallet. Even though we could think that there is no 100% guaranteed assurance but at least we are doing something that could help to protect our funds. But most important is we know how to manage our keys/passwords that nobody knows it.

We can use a paper wallet, Electrum, and hardware wallets. But for me, I've preferred Electrum wallet which I could make access so easily.
2048  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: May 30, 2022, 01:14:48 PM
That was a heck of a game. Like watching the 80's.  Grin
Low scoring (didn't hit the over 197.5), brutal defense, and officials not calling fouls even when bodies falling on the floor. I can say I love that Game 7.
Also lost the Miami Heat ML bet but I enjoyed watching it pretty well.
No hates to the Butler 3-point decision. The team recognized he should take that shot and they like what he did. I bet no one will want to be in that position except him.
Cheers to the winners and to the Boston Celtics.

He takes it as a real star and even he missed that shot, everyone does support his decision. I will understand if there are people who

will criticize that act, but he's the main man, and he has that capability to make that shot, just not lucky enough, but it's a good shot free enough

not being bothered by the defense. It's for the Boston and they will advance to the finals to meet the Warriors.

Time for another series to watch and place our bets..

Yes, we are in the NBA Finals now, let's appreciate the effort of both teams, especially the heat because they never gave up, they fight until the end, it's just that the luck was not with them in that game. Warriors vs Celtics are destined to face in the NBA Finals, so yeah, let's start betting.
2049  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: May 30, 2022, 12:50:47 PM
I'm happy that most of us are voting on the poll.

So far, we have 5-2 in favor of the Warriors but I'm seeing this as a close series and the best series that we will see.
Celtics won't back down, they have the size advantage, and they also have a good roster that is good both offensively and defensively.

Celtics in 7?
2050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eastern Conference Finals (Heat vs Celtics) on: May 30, 2022, 12:27:05 PM
Congratulations to the Celtics for winning the ECF. That was a hell of a game, Heat almost made it, if only Butler did not rush his decision, he shots a 3 point instead of attacking, I don't know what he was thinking, maybe he just want his team to be ahead, but his shot is not a high percentage shot, there's a better shot than that. What a waste of effort, they could have a comeback win.
2051  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mentor experience in crypto trading. on: May 30, 2022, 11:13:45 AM
Hi guys,I have learnt a lot from my mentor in crypto trading that made me to became who I am today in the society. Do you have a mentor in crypto trading? I never know how important a mentor is to investors when I nearly lost my $300,000 few years ago, until I found a potential mentor who thought me when to sell my coins to make a good income and when not to sell not to experience losses in the market.

I was glad to hear about your success mate...But I say this was not because you have a mentor who guides and teaches you, it was also because you accept to change and you are willing to do so. Because in many cases, mentorship doesn't work, and of course, it really doesn't work if both parties won't work together as it was supposed to be.

We'd learn in different ways...I do just online and YouTube tutorials but because I am willing to take risks and not afraid to learn, I got what I want to happen. It is just a matter of time.
2052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB or ETH ? on: May 30, 2022, 09:34:46 AM
What's your ultimate choice? Or both?  Smiley
both of them are good for long-term/short-term investment which is ideal if we want to invest in crypto. In fact, I have had them both for many years with profitable results. Likely, even experiencing another dip in the market we are still certain that our money won't get lost.

Well, I believe that the majority had chosen them both.
 * price
 * use-case
 * exchanges
 * profitability

They all have the assets that we need to consider upon choosing coins for investment. We never fail and it was not regrettable having them.
2053  Economy / Economics / Re: A decision to make on: May 30, 2022, 03:11:53 AM

Because most of our time is spent at home, especially if we already have a family, it is certain that having a comfortable home is a top priority.
To be able to buy a comfortable house, of course we must have a lot of money, because we know that in almost all countries house prices are
very expensive, and house prices continue to rise every year. So we have to be willing to invest to be able to buy a house, because only investing is
our hope that we can have a lot of money in the future and that money can buy a house. There is no better way to make a lot of money than
investing, and for now an asset that can provide large profits and the price is also affordable is investing in crypto.
I didn't make buying a house is my priority, I just rent an apartment and with the money left I'd put it in crypto. well, it is too cool to have our own but putting all our money just to acquire this thing is not a good idea. I'd learn from a friend of mind citing the same scenario but what he did is to choose investment first as once it went successful, money is not a problem anymore.  That is why I'd consider investing in crypto is the best opportunity and if the time permits us and bind with luck, I can still buy a house from the profit I got from my investment.

2054  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What would you do if you are me on: May 29, 2022, 10:47:28 PM
Is Antivirus still a good way to avoid some malware on my PC? I want to start working on my PC online but I don't have any Antivirus or security on the system since it's been year's since I work on PC last, also I have two to three crypto wallets on my PC.
Perhaps, you can't just expect that Antivirus will keep your PC 100% safe, especially if you are using a free app. You'd rather acquire paid Antivirus system to enhance your protection but as I said, this won't guarantee that you are totally safe, it still needs your help like being careful in clicking links from strangers. And I don't advise using multiple AV as sometimes it contradicts each other that causing lags in the computer system. And I also advise you to move your other wallet to the other computer for security reasons and in the case that hack comes, they can take everything from you.
2055  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador will be the richest country in the world in 8 years? on: May 29, 2022, 10:09:28 PM
Well, this could happen if bitcoin starts to pump quickly and again reach all time high. If El Salvador possesses a lot of bitcoins, it could become the richest country if bitcoin cross 100,000$ or 200,000$. As per the OP, eight years are enough for bitcoin to be at these prices, and also El Salvador should accumulate many bitcoins during these times.

What about the sufferings that whole country will face for 8 years. AFAIK, Salvador start buying btc when it was over 50k and that's the biggest mistake they made. Everyone loves to jump in the boat when market is going up. If Salvador coolest dictator have so much faith in bitcoin then why not he bought btc when it's bearish?
Might say it was not in perfect timing as the prices jump down but I don't think it was a mistake, in fact, some investors buy above that price ($50k). But I'd never think that was an issue with them, we know El Salvador has the faith that Bitcoin will soon recover and they could grow their investment. However, saying they become the richest country in the world, I was thinking they will surpass the 1st world countries because of Bitcoin, because of crypto investment, then it was really impossible. I don't underestimate them but couldn't make it in crypto investment alone.
2056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the market rise in June on: May 29, 2022, 09:41:56 PM
...
In as much as there is no any fundamental news to back up the claim that market will pump in June then any speculation or prediction to that effect is null and void, personally I believe the bearish sentiment in the market had not indicate any sign of abating, it might likely continue, however I believe the market had reached the bottom though the market is in a bearish ranging market so far, if there will be a pump in the price the signs are always there, within two to three days the market would experience a massive pump.
Even if there is but I don't that really be enough to instantly make the market recover easily. But yeah, we never hear and read any claims and news (might just be a FUD) that could hype the market so we can say that was impossible for now. The bear season will still continue and nobody knows when its stops. Some predictions/speculation rise that possibly happens early next year, well, just only a hope. However, people had already known to become more patient, I'm very certain that they could wait for it and still make themselves calm.
2057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This can make alts loses more value than ever on: May 29, 2022, 02:45:57 PM
OP, stop worrying about the thing that was unlikely to happen. People would rather to choice PoS over the PoW system but this never give a huge impact on the market besides, people will still choose ETH believing that it was a valuable asset. In fact, the future of ETH and these altcoins lies in the hand of the investors and also the value of the project in the community.

Of course, we could see dumps in prices because the entire market is in a bear situation. However, we don't make the reason for ETH transition from PoS to PoW because as per to see, this gives benefits to us. Yet, this wasn't known by many individuals.
2058  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: May 29, 2022, 12:42:21 PM
I will root for Miami tonight as I will keep my vouch and support the same teams that I said I will from the start. One went out against GSW and I can't blame Mavs as they already did a fantastic season but on MIami , I'm still waiting for that massive game where all the players will play good not just Jimmy buckets.
Jimmy Buckets, is such a popular name because he again did that in game 6 when they needed to win. Game 7 is going to be an all out war between two teams, there's no tomorrow so they have to take care of the business and do everything to be in the NBA Finals.

The last time the Heat went to the Finals against Lebron wasn't good, maybe they have a chance against the Warriors. Who knows.
2059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: May 29, 2022, 12:00:52 PM
There are reports that Donaire will have a special guest in Japan when he goes and fight Inoue, this is according to Rachel's Donaire's social media post.

But everyone is speculating that it will be Casimero who will be in ring side. Not sure what is the intention is, maybe they just want to throw off Inoue as both of them have been trash talking and have been in the radar. Unfortunately, Casimero wasn't able to fight Butler so he lost his belt already. But who knows, maybe he will be next in line for Inoue win or lose against Donaire.

If it is Casimero that would be in the ringside then it would be for Casimero to witness how it will be done (defeating Inoue) lol.

Kidding aside, without the WBO belt on his hand, Inoue is not interested in fighting Casimero anymore because the main goal for the Monster is to unify all 4 belts in the bantamweight division so Butler could be next in line for the winner of this Inoue-Donaire fight besides Casimero will be moving up in weight so his presence in Japan is just a mere spectator and might be Rachel will manage his career in the future.

That's correct, Casimero already wasted his opportunity to fight Inoue but let himself get stripped with the belt. He is not in the position to ask for a fight, he better move up and tries to build himself again to be a champion.
2060  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think we should do with our investments in times of uncertainty? on: May 28, 2022, 11:51:23 PM
For me personally, the uncertainty that can only be experienced for a while is an acceptable level of risk, in order to withstand the trend and the bear market that can affect, I almost don't look at the price value your investment portfolio.  After going through the cycles of 2018, 2019 noa helps me better visualize opportunities for this uncertainty
Even it's unfavored, I'm looking at the price just to monitor it. Just endure all the pain in times of uncertainty and think of this time as part of the growth that you'll have as it's a hard process to be at the top again. Imagine of it that it has to happen no matter what you think of it.
Being emotional will not help you grow on this market but it's just going to pull you down and will put your efforts into vain if you allow to hit you badly.
* Keeping strong
 * have faith
 * keep patient

We sometimes need some break-out from crypto. Seeing the market daily and only just declines certainly affects our minds and could lead to emotional stress. At this difficult time, many people had suffered losses as they can't manage to hold their emotions, kinda hard if we keep checking our portfolio. Staying away from it for a while will help and save us from thinking negatively and uncertainty.
