2041  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Game of Thrones - Who will rule? Odds and betting discussion [Odds updated!] on: March 15, 2019, 03:10:36 AM
Im sorry but i dont wat h game of thrones. Correct me if im wrong but is GOT based on a novel like twilight and harry potter? If yes then betting on that would be funny. Its my first time to encounter a betting game based on a tv series and kuddos to the OP for being so clever.
The book series and the tv series is a lot different from each other that is why who will be alive at the end of this season is still unknown. In the books Rickon Stark is still alive and is head of the Stark family while in House Targaryen there is another white-haired member who is alive named Aegon Targaryen in the tv series they just made Jon Snow and Aegon Targaryen one person. So really if you are expecting an ending coming from the book chances are really low as they have made big changes for the tv series to go to a different direction.
2042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 14, 2019, 07:30:25 PM
According to some rumours, Zidane will be given around €300m to spend in the summer. If the board decides to sell some of the players above, Zizou could easily have around 400m-450m to spend.
But with the financial fair play in check I doubt that having a €300 million transfer budget for Real Madrid is financially possible. Fifa of course would be in guard on their earnings after they submitted their planned transfer budget for the next season and looking at their net profit of  €31.2 million from last year I doubt that they would even allow it especially if they have €107 million in debt for this season. So to keep things possible for Real Madrid's rebuild their likely option is to only sell a bunch of their players before they look for target replacements for them in the roster.
2043  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sent Litecoin to Bitcoin Address, How to recover? on: March 14, 2019, 05:59:54 PM
~snip~
I think you are right mate. Update is needed for that machine to identify compatible addresses in sending  funds because we already know that cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible. A lot of people are doing this thing everyday most especially newcomers. I even have a friend that has the same issue she accidentally sent  Litecoins intoa Bitcoin address and now hoping to get it back if there  is another way to recover it.
Because speaking plainly here cryptotrade78u's crypto atm business is at fault here, they know themselves that they will be getting a lot of inexperience customers buying cryptocurrencies in their atm yet they have a interface that doesn't detect or at least warn you that you are giving out the wrong wallet address for the cryptocurrency you are buying. Customer's who lost money in the process are of course have grounds to push for damages as them being first time buyers should have a sufficient guide and step by step process to successfully buy the cryptocurrency they wanted, they probably don't even know what "Litecoins" are in the first place.

Post Subject: Investment or Affiliate?

Post body: Investment return or affiliate commission, which has better return in dice gaming industry?
Someone probably have reported your thread and probably gave a good explanation on why your thread is off-topic for the section, chances are a moderator believed in his reason so your thread got deleted. But if you really want to know why it got deleted you must wait for the reply of the mod who deleted your thread. I personally think that your thread title and body alone is not enough for it to be deleted, this probably might be a misunderstanding on what you have posted.
2045  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sent Litecoin to Bitcoin Address, How to recover? on: March 14, 2019, 02:02:23 PM
You need to update your crypto atms fast. You need to program it in such way that it can detect and filter out what kind of wallet address the customer is trying to input or at least remind them that the wallet address they have inputted is not intended for that crypto, you need something in the system that will stop/block them for paying for the wrong crypto. Surely this is an avoidable mess and cases similar to this one won't stop in the future not unless you do something to improve your software as its the main problem here.
2046  Economy / Reputation / Re: Are these enough proofs to tag this HIGH RANK ring? Need DT opinions on: March 13, 2019, 08:18:51 PM
You've made some good research which provides strong circumstantial evidence to back up your assertion, and you've left what you consider to be appropriate feedback which, seeing as you are DT1, publicly marks the involved accounts accordingly.
I'm personally not a fan of duplicating ratings simply because they are left by other DT members, even though I may agree with them.
Have you made Yahoo aware of this thread and its findings?

I haven't DM him, I'm not a fan of DMs, However I think he knows the situation since I wrote to him on his topic, here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5115487.msg49971923#msg49971923
DMs to Yahoo won't be necessary anymore, since you tag a lot of his participants in an ongoing campaign he will notice that something is up and he will immediately notice the feedback you have given to them. His reply might take some time though as he is really busy managing campaigns as we all see, the next post count for the campaign is tomorrow so lets see if he can reply by then.

CCN was unable to get any of these companies on the phone. We wanted to inquire whether they allow for 0-confirmation transactions or not.

I laughed at this one. Why on earth would the companies tell that (assuming they would have answered the phone)?
The article is already an invitation (for many!) to check whether this vulnerability was fixed in the Bitcoin ATMs they know. They wanted to make it even more obvious?
If the scam is happening right now and the authorities are the one to notice then I don't think CCN doesn't need anyone to confirm anything at this point, this is just a classic move done by these crypto news site showing that they act like real journalist, I don't even think that they really did try to reach them. The point is with a lot of crypto scammers existing right now they will always try to take advantage the flaw they see in the system and try to take money from it. Now the 0 confirmation to achieve the convenience their customers are looking for will be seen as a flaw and for sure crypto atm companies will try to remove it within their system.
2048  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: About most likely an scam BTC mining on: March 13, 2019, 05:51:45 PM
Should I report FBI? Will it work?
I don't even think that the FBI would take you seriously if you go to them directly. Mostly FBI only handles cases indirectly relating to terrorism and white-collar crimes. The best thing you could do right now is to have a lawyer assist you if there's really no progress regarding your withdrawal. But to keep you a heads up internet fraud and scams like this one especially only involving one victim will have a slow development regarding their case, most victims of scams are smart enough to know that their money is good as gone as no government authority would focus on their manpower if we are just talking about a few thousands of dollars loss.
2049  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: About most likely an scam BTC mining on: March 13, 2019, 03:38:16 PM
If they are just cornering you on unknown and hard to access withdrawal method your cloudmining site is most likely a scam as they even don't have a reasonable withdrawal method like direct wire transfers or even via cryptocurrency as they are a "mining" site after all. My advise is if they are the ones who sent the link for that specific iSwift cards then chances are they just want to milk you for another 723$ from that scam website which have a ridiculous shippings rate for an atm card.
2050  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading with crypto or fiats? the right one? Your experience? on: March 12, 2019, 08:04:25 PM
I trade with crypto currencies. I have a small experience in it. The amount of profit i get is very less but yes it depends on the amount of investment i make. I have seen my friends trade with fiats at currency market. The amount of profit they receive is more than i do. The main thing is, the investment they make is lesser than i make.

Kindly share your experience?
Why wouldn't you just ask your friends who already know the answer you are looking for? If they already have the experience and success in Forex that you are talking about then I think they are the best persons to ask on their experiences in the market. If you are just shy because they have more success than you in terms of profit in trading then don't be as you won't get anywhere near them if you just covered your mouth and be jealous about it. If they are really your friends I know they'll be happy to help you learn their way.
2051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: March 12, 2019, 06:28:24 PM
LeBron James will now suffer because of the things he did to the Lakers youngcore. I mean, they did great during the pre-mid season and what did he do? Sell them out? Face the consequence now LBJ. This is the problem of a team when they have LeBron, they are adjusting to him no matter what the odds.
I don't think Lebron will be going anywhere even if the rest of the team have a bad blood on him, the Lakers' already made a commitment by giving him a huge contract and they know a lot of their players will be tradeable once the free agency season comes. Lebron won't be signing up with the Lakers if he and the management didn't have any future plans to make the team a championship contender. After this season he still have 3 years left with the team (2 if he opt out earlier) and that is a lot of time for Lebron to build a good team that can play well around him.
2052  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Guide] Using Google Trend to choose right time to accumulate for your portfolio on: March 12, 2019, 03:31:49 PM
~snip~

It really can be a manipulated data, but I don't think it's worthless.

When we hit 20k, bitcoin was in media, Google trends, etc... It was clearly a bad time to buy. Now even According to Google trend it looks like a good time.

It's good use combine various tools and data when making a buy/sell decision
If you want to measue what they call "trend" which most of us call "hype" then for me honestly its the wrong way to go. If you just followed something because of how loud its noise is making in the media then the sad thing about it is it will mostly be dependent on news or its hype. As a hodler of BTC and other crypto I'll be more interested in studying charts rather than Google trends as its more accurate and its inaccuracy will be bigger as the day less and less people will search the word "Bitcoin" in Google which what happened to Gold in my given example.
2053  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Guide] Using Google Trend to choose right time to accumulate for your portfolio on: March 12, 2019, 04:14:16 AM
It is easily to see the fact that Google Trend results shows figure of those assets decreased simultaneously with its price drops.

The key point is when both the chart of price and Google Trend bottoms out, it is time to determinantly accumulate more without hesitation and fears of losses.
Google Trend is a worthless tool to base on your buy and sell decisions, Google trends only shows you the search results volume happening in Google's search engine and there is nothing more to that. People use Google's search engine all the time and the bad thing about it is if we use GTrends as basis for our buy and sell decisions they can always manipulate the search volume just by searching the word "Bitcoin" in it.

Want a good example on why Google Trends doesn't work? Here is Gold's Google Trend chart you will see that it is almost a flat line while the prices of gold have been soaring lately. It only show that Gold is searched as much as Bitcoin even though its moving upwards.
2054  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin be worthless? on: March 11, 2019, 07:52:06 PM
Bitcoin isn't even susceptible to hyperinflation, why? Bitcoin has a limited supply of 21 million BTC not unless it will be forked like what other coins do it won't increase its supply over 21 million. With a limited supply the only way it would be worthless is if the demand for it will go down to zero which as of the moment is highly unlikely. And if you are just thinking that Bitcoin will be worthless because its recent performance then think again. Even though we are in the bear market it doesn't mean that no one is interested in Bitcoin anymore or there is no demand for it, it just simply mean that we are in a bear cycle and its a normal phase for any market to undergo to.
2055  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Market Arbitrage Coin -SCAM! attention! virus! Plagiarized Whitepaper on: March 11, 2019, 06:10:42 PM
Whatever picture Jeremy McAlpine is talking about they have copied from their website it gone now as it is nowhere to be found of MARC's website. In the Discord chat he is talking about this two bots being used in MARC's website as well as one of dropil's insights page which as of now is currently "under maintenance".

Did Max|Marc replied anything after that about the plagiarism in their ICO's whitepaper? I just couldn't believe Jeremy McAlpine forgave them quickly and see it as a "misunderstanding" on their part which I myself cannot see how a plagiarism of a whitepaper as a misunderstanding.
2056  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What metrics should my trading bot be taking? on: March 11, 2019, 04:51:44 PM
When you are talking about profit and loss are you talking about your bot having an automated way of recording your income gained from the trade? Or are you talking about something else when you say the word "metrics"? Because its pretty unclear to me as I have never used the term profit and loss as a metric when I am doing technical analysis in trading. You might just be referring to profit-risk or risk/reward ratio which I do think is automatically calculated by your trading bot based on how you set it.
2057  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-03-11] Jack Dorsey's recent commitments to Bitcoin. on: March 11, 2019, 10:57:47 AM
Is him purchasing a hardware wallet really that valuable information for us to know? Or is this just one of those information that neither add something nor reduce his stance towards Bitcoin? For me its the latter as we all know that his long for Bitcoin. Ever since we all saw his tweets about it and saw his interview with Joe Rogan we all know that Dorsey is all a hodler of BTC. So this news about him buying a hardware wallet has really nothing new to add up on his support for Bitcoin.
2058  Other / Meta / Re: How many banned users have you merited? on: March 11, 2019, 04:04:43 AM
To my surprise as well Foxpup even though is a top 5 merit sender in the forum didn't show up in the top 200 of the list he was in fact ranked 5041st with 3 banned users (one of which is zentdex), the only thing I can think of why he has a few banned user under his name is he does a thorough background check before he sends some merit to the user.
Correct. Every time I find a post by a newbie worth meriting, I first check if it's plagiarised. More often than not it is, with the result that the user gets banned instead of merited. I'll also check the rest of their post history for consistency, on the assumption (which is almost always correct) that a lone good post amongst a large number of shitposts is plagiarised even if I can't prove it.
Just by confirming what I thought you made me imagine how much time and effort you give before you even send merits away to members. With that kind of low percentage it only means that you never let your guard down when it comes to newbies, the 3 banned users you have given merits to (zentdex, rickadone, and LuanX3) are all  high ranking members which I myself don't even expect plagiarising content. I wouldn't even consider this a mistake as you don't expect them to do this kind of things.
2059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Thoughts on Video game gambling addiction? on: March 10, 2019, 07:34:45 PM
Personally I haven't known anyone to this date transitioned from video game/e-sports betting to gambling in real casinos. Not unless you are playing casino related video games, games in general are not some sort of “gateway drug” that will let you be hooked to other sorts of betting outside gaming more often than not they will stay in ghe industry. And by that I mean they will be more involved in betting or find other modes of earning within the industry such us streaming their games or have their own Youtube channel which a lot of teenagers and young adults are now doing.
2060  Other / Meta / Re: How many banned users have you merited? on: March 10, 2019, 05:51:58 PM
I guessed that its inevitable to see merit sources part of the list here, you may never know and control what members will do after they receive the merit/s you have sent to them. It is like most of them are likely to plagiarize more after they become more desperate on receiving more merits.
