this coin is loosing stamina it seems, the price dropped to half what was 1 year ago, and i'm losing my little investment too, any new news coming to save this one? Such a pity that tzscan block explorer isn't working anymore. Does anyone know another decent block explorer for Tezos?

With the current situation, BTC alone won't be able to handle all transactions though. Honestly, I probably use more ETH & EOS in a month than BTC. However, this situation will change dramatically if the lightning network can really work.
I think I heard something about the new Electrum release that would support LN. Definitely a game-changer if it's not buggy.
but altcoin are not that good for paying for something out of this forum, unless you use the biggest altcoin that are very STABLE, it's a matter of stability in price not so much of how many transaction there are, many shitcoin just are there for making bitcoin, this prove also my point |

it doessn't matter because, your bankroll always need to be 100x what you want to bet, so now you can bet at max $5, but by looking at your proposal i believe you are newbie, in this area, so it's better to invest in an altcoin, that have high chance to increase than trading

there is no other way to make it work, imho
or there is - I know that when the new coins is born it is possible to mine it solo not with the pool.
so in order to remove pool you may start the coin, which would accept from one ip address fixed hashrate say from one CPU and no more.
no matter how many gpus or asic you have, the hashrate from one IP is fixed, such system could be decentralized I think

no matter what they change, chinese can reprogram a new asic board with the correct code to work with the new monero algo, let alone fpga that can be reprogrammed again and again, even if this is memory intensive, monero is big enough to encourage the makiing of an asic for it

i don't think it's a good idea, you will not get much because the difference between your price and the actual income of the one who rent your farm, is almost zero, otherwise they are stupid and they lose money, the only way where this work is on new coin where there is instamining, but in this case they will choose bigger farm

because they are greedy and want easily money, but this always lead to easy scam, they often try to get big payment from website scam like those that say that you will get x2 what you bet, and end in a bad way every time, as long as there are chance to make easy money people will always be scammed

i could tell you to save it in a backup cold storage, and tell where they are only to your family, in case you dead they can retrieve your fund, paper wallet are also good, but also brain wallet, if you for example memorize a seed associated with your private key you can easily get it, if you want
