I still owe you an apology, I don't know if this flash crash counts but I am a man of his word, I didn't see this coming so I do apologize for the last couple of months and I hope that Gox will die....I took a considerable loss because of them, not trading there didn't save me from their BS, I just hope that it wont be even worse...

at this moment I don't hold any bitcoins, not because I sold out but because I invested 80% in IPOs and startups and cashed the other 20%, but to be honest I don't have balls to buy back now, I just wish you all traders out there good luck.

2103  Economy / Exchanges / Re: MtGox withdrawal delays [Gathering] on: February 10, 2014, 02:49:44 PM
At this point Mtgox should just die... I took huge loss because of their BS, an IT engineer cannot blame his programming fails on the whole protocol, I said this before and I will repeat it again, Gox engineers are a shame for IT and the whole Bitcoin community... and not trading at this shitty platform didn't save me from its effect, they effected the whole system and at this point I am so pissed that I wish if they shut down then we will all have a peaceful life after....

Antonio finally told me the "agreed ship date" for my order. Ship queue #188 was to be shipped Dec 16. I then asked for further clarification on a few aspects of the CPP, and I'll let you guys know what I learn when he replies again. But I think the extra hashrate isn't added until the 20th day after the agreed day, so the CPP should have said shipments can be up to 19 days late, not 10 days.
so what is the new shipping day ?

Once more again and again and again.

There is not working RIG device. Take a tour in the company and you will see as was said to me.

Why should i spam around here and saying bu**sh** for fun?

The game is over. A1 ships not going to make the RIG by 100 reasons.

First of all technical ones, because no working prototype, whatever why.
Secondly, huge delay, because of technical issues, the investor will have his pcbs for his mine then.

We all knew that it was a bet. And now its over. Understand, people. Dont dream in stupid land.

we've got your point, now stop spamming please... repeating the same thing again and again and all over again is spam, we all know what your point of view is, so please stop and let other customers and members try to ask useful questions....

I wish the forum would bring back the newbie post count rule  Roll Eyes

+1
,

anything else to say beside that +1 ? I agree on the noob restriction, but it is not strange to see members assuming the worst when you didn't post any update what so ever..... some transparency will bring the confidence back...

We are shooting a video of the working miner and will release official press soon, but I can anticipate already that we're starting shipping next week, keep an eye on our news section for further updates!

I hope you do, I invested heavily in Peta-Mine when I knew that they have a deal with you guys, I felt confident that you will deliver and had no doubts, but now After all this delay it is starting to be disappointing, I give you guys credit for the AVALON mess, but at this point I feel the PETA-MINE operation is at the same position you were at when avalon failed to deliver except that we share holders are the effected.

my biggest fear is the Asicminer chips that will hit the market after 2 weeks, their update doesn't put so much confidence in me, add to that KNCminer and their smart move to protect their customers, in time we your customers are suffering the most, I don't know how will you compensate for all of this...

I think everyone have the right to be concerned,  if the company addressed issues and concerns transparently no one would come here and assume all of this, it is normal that people start acting this way, most humans tend to imagine or prepare for the worst case scenarios... which is what is happening now.

now what is happening is mostly because of the nature of mining, a lost day, means allot of money lost, add to that the first days of mining can define whether you will break even or not, well most of you will hardly make up Invested money.

now if Bitmine would have been transparent and kept in touch with the customers and kept them updated, none of this would happen.
2110  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: February 08, 2014, 03:33:41 PM
I think that's an appropriate estimation based on the FACTS that bitmine hasn't shown any working machine yet,
and no screenshots of software, and no customer has yet send a message confirming that he has recieved a device.

They didn't have the chips back in November but how exactly is this Nov 23, 2013 video not a video of a working prototype?

This prototype runs with simulated chips, not the actual chips.

nope, not a simulation, it is an actual prototype working with Bitfury chips, they had a run with them as well....

that one is based on bitfury chips and not their 28nm chip so it is irrelevant.
2112  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: February 08, 2014, 02:42:18 PM
Had yesterday a talk with a guy visited bitmine. He said, that they cant start shipping due to problems in production. In a short summary it means, there is a huge delay. There are thousends of orders and in the end its going to be a much huger mess as it was with bfl.

At the end of february some hundreads pieces can be made, probably in best case.

march orders can not be made up before july or august.

Eat it or not. But DONT scream around like pragnant female dogs.

Yes, this is absolutely FUD, you just claim things without prove.
Also there aren't really thousands of orders. If your order is for example #3711 it doesn't mean there are really 3710 or more devices to be made before it's your turn.
Like in every business, most orders are empty/dead or never recieved the money, etc.. Many customers think it over in the last minute when it comes to the payment.
So bitmine gives an order number for every order made, not every payed and processed order.

Also, for people who payed to get into an order, they have NO CHOICE to "eat it or not" as you say.
They can't go back from the contract, they have to wait about 80 days after the agreed shipment week before they can have their money back.

But that's the nature of this specific manufacturing business... so yes, things are not as they should be, but not as bad as you make it out to be. (july or august???) so that's the definition of FUD

Lets make a bet.

They are showing a working RIG till Friday the 14th (the weekend before shipping date) or you guys saying i have no proof delete your accounts here. Or my newbie account will be deleted. Deal?

this is no bet, raise your bet to 5 Bitcoins and you will get some interested people Wink

well I guess I was wrong all the way, congrats for the bears that called it, I knew there will a correction but I've never thought that 700 wont resist, most of the support was laying down there. unfortunately I cant benefit from this drop, or should I say thankfully ? all my bitcoins are tied up in other investments (IPOs, Startups), so there is no way for me to trade as I don't hold any of my bitcoins, I was thinking about a mid-long term investment of 80% of my holdings and cashed out the other 20%.

now that I cant do anything with my bitcoins for at least 6 months, I feel released in some way   Cheesy

2114  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: CoinTerra announces its first ASIC - Hash-Rate greater than 500 GH/s on: February 08, 2014, 09:41:20 AM

This is a CoinTerra Bitcoin miner thread. It is about the CT units and I am asking how to operate it.

You are talking about alt coins. I hope you get banned.

Everyone please report this off topic stuff to mods.

You gotta be kidding! You are actually asking HOW to operate a CT miner after spending a quart on it? Something smells fishy...

I was a healthy part of that group buy. I only have 13 units.

But yes, I realize it looks silly but why and how could I have learned before the units were even made? I have no experience with ASICs other than AsicMiner and the god like FriedCat did all the work for me.

I was able to get some pointers from willphase  and I feel pretty good about operating these. It is not at all as complicated as running GPU or CPU farms, something I have a grate deal of experience in.

goat it is easier than you think, most of these new miners have a web interface where you can set it up, I didn't own an ASIC for long time, except a couple of BFLs that I sold after a couple of weeks from receiving them, but in Cointerra case you have to look at the IP address of your miner in the connected devices in your router, get that IP and write it in the address bar of your internet browser and you just fill up settings, you can also SSH your machine to monitor cgminer.

in other words, you will figure it out...
2115  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 07, 2014, 09:08:03 PM
I really don't understand what people are doing at Gox, you sell your bitcoins that you cant withdraw for FIAT that you cant withdraw as well... the whole Gox situation doesn't make any sense to me, there is something happening behind the scene for sure.

and not only gox, you've got the Second market CEO announcing a buy/sell offers for a min of 25BTC, is it a last cry to save the price from tanking which can result in a huge loss for their earlier purchased bitcoins ? or is it a try to Buy even more bitcoins at these prices without going through exchanges to not bring the price back up, both are valid scenarios to consider at the moment but which one is closer to what is really happening.

but in general there is allot of things happening around Bitcoin the last month or so, it is like the last ground cleaning before something! I recall the senate a month ago talking to bloomberg about announcing/issuing (to be more accurate) a statement about bitcoin in the next couple of month (maybe this month), so I am really curious about what will it be and if all the action of arresting and FINCEN issuing more documents about bitcoin and the New York hearing and the invitation from Council on Foreign Relations to Gavin Andresen and many other things that I maybe forgot to mention, are just to complete or to prepare for a big thing that will be in the next few months...

allot of things happening and I have no Idea of what to assume...

All the bulls are stupid. This is going BELOW 400$ ! Probably 200$ and below!

and maybe ripple to 1000 right ?

Well no we will have to wait they get out of beta first ^^ 0.5$ for ripple would be already a fucking bubble (it touched 0,1$ 2months ago)

welcome to my ignore list...

anyway, the biggest winners are exchange operators, they must love the high volume after the slow couple of months...

hello Guys, and hell I was wrong, I thought we will never test that 700 again, and I still don't understand why, I wasn't paying attention to the price lately so I have no idea what is going on but something caught my attention, Stamp and Gox have the same price now !!!! are withdrawals on gox working again ?

Oh look, the video was all of a sudden removed.

I just checked and it is still there Wink
