squeezed out more of the 280x's

but r9 390's, 290x's performs less compared to zcashclient 0.2.2

and it seems intensity "-i" is not part of the syntax

crashes after a few minutes.
2123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Community Call for Claymore Zcash GPU Miner Development on: October 30, 2016, 04:58:06 AM
Today I tried existing miners, I don't like their stability and speed.
Ok, I will release first version of my ZCash miner very soon. AMD only, at least for now.

YEAH!! BURN my AMD's Claymore  Cool

2125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [FACTS] Let's talk about Leocoin on: October 28, 2016, 01:10:10 PM
leocoin came here at bitcointalk thinking these forum is full of people who will embrace their MLM scheming scammers.. lol they have it coming.

leocoin foundation even locked the first thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1289299.0 after people started attacking/questioning/exposing them, and leocoin foundation opened a new moderated-circle jerk-sock puppetry thread.

P.S. i opened an unofficial unmoderated leocoin thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1616309.0 so people can see unbiased opinion on leocoin in ANN section.

2126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [FACTS] Let's talk about Leocoin on: October 27, 2016, 11:03:24 PM
i personally met a leocoin MLM member in 2015, a friend told me there is someone involved in crypto too like me, maybe we could meet so...

in starbucks, me and my friends met with this group of leocoin people and these greedy fucks started talking how life is hard, work pay is not enough and we need a business that involves leocoin so we all can be early adopters and get rich like the bitcoin guys..the leader of this leocoin group with his clenched fist is lightly banging on the table saying almost every time "you need a business" promising getting rich, but they are not saying what is the nature of the business, they talk repeatedly until their fore play worked (it didn't worked so we finished early and we did not reach discussing the nature of his business proposal)..my friend knows personally one of those leocoin guys, and i was told it was indeed networking or MLM.

these guys have greedy faces and they back up whatever their leader is saying, they don't know bitcointalk, altcoins, i mentioned popular ones like ethereum, monero, dash guess what? they don't know shit about them and they did not even attempted to discuss any altcoin.

they also have these shinny physical leocoin token shown to us.

..and here at bitcointalk,

this guy "LEOcoin Foundation" claiming he is Roel N. de Leeuw B.ec (LEOcoin Foundation Community Manager) - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=665415 opened a leocoin ANN thread

when i confronted him about leocoin MLM, he said leocoin MLM is a "THIRD PARTY" and does not have anything to do with leocoin foundation, and i caught him lying.

i told him leocoin founders katif and Dan Anderson visited Philippines and opened an office, i asked him what is the function of the office, office for whom and what is the nature of their work...well i didn't get an answer, he even told me that the founders venture is not connected to the work of "leocoin foundation" claiming it was also a third party work.

and guess what!? the chairman of leocoin foundation is dan anderson (see image in the link) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1289299.msg13297725#msg13297725

and here is my post showing their MLM products and membership https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1289299.msg13268083#msg13268083

2129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 1000% profit!? on: October 26, 2016, 04:46:57 AM
so predictable...i was going to say here last night "don't post about leocoin or else..."  but i didn't, i was hoping you would post about  a different coin.aaaand it happened.

oh well you can go back to two way circle jerk and sock puppetry in your leocoin thread.

nobody is going to buy your worthless bag of MLM,  Learn Earn Own coin, because in the end investors will learn but they will not earn, and owning a bag of worthless shitcoin called leocoin.

Network hashrate is down so I decided to fire off the AMD miner today and watch it closer.

Why is it duplicating some of these nonces on the same GPU and submitting them twice?

The readme file with Vorksholk's miner suggests: "If you notice your miner finding several of the same nonce, try lowering the intensity and/or cyclesize (because you're sending so much work to the GPU that it can't get a timestamp often enough, so it exhausts the 4-ish billion possible nonces (~4 GH), and starte repeating work)."

i missed that part ... reduced (from default) my intensity to 22 and cycles to 45 ... seems "same nonce's" are gone .
2131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Community Call for Claymore Zcash GPU Miner Development on: October 24, 2016, 10:15:41 AM
yeah. go claymore!
2132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to specify to claymore to not use a specific GPU on: October 24, 2016, 01:10:26 AM
always allocate some of your time in reading the manual. it is a good practice .
2133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Pascal Coin: P2P cryptocurrency without need of historical operations on: October 23, 2016, 11:10:59 PM

my windows 7 x64 looks like that, themes disabled too but the wallpaper is just solid black.

your miner name is "pascalcoin" that's 10 characters... you should rename miner using 8 characters like "pascalco", in your wallet too rename the miner name to 8 characters and always mine with this key (8 characters too) when you create a key use the "secp256k1"
2134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What is the average life of a mining rig? on: October 23, 2016, 05:04:58 PM
The "seperate ground wire" was a recomendation BEFORE the 1996 NEC revision, it became a requirement after that.

I'm not currently an electrician - let the license and bonding expire years back when I went into other work - but I keep up on the changes when I can.

I DO strongly recommend that you DO NOT DO ELECTRICAL WIRING unless it's inspected afterwards by a trained electrician that DOES know the code for where you are at - amateurs make way too many mistakes that can cause shorts, fires, and overloads through ignorance.

i perfectly understand, i would advice that too to myself if i were in your position..i have 10 years experience doing this electrical stuff and i always make sure that there will be no possibility of shorts and overloads besides there is always a protection (breakers) with lines i install, i know the materials used and how to use them, i measure current, voltage and observe..i even setup last year a 10kva generator, switches, panels and, breakers at my parents house. the genset is an old heavy duty 2 cylinder kirloskar, it was fun reconditioning it with truck parts.

i know there are really good electricians, but from where i live there are electricians (the ones i encountered most) that are lazy and sloppy at their work..better do it my self.
2135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Pascal Coin: P2P cryptocurrency without need of historical operations on: October 23, 2016, 03:33:01 PM
after my dll problem is fixed and the miner started i had a crash in two of my 280x rigs, i just reduced the core clock to 1100 and 1110...no crashes since then, running for hours now...all are stable even the 4x 390 rig and the mixed 290x, 2x rx 480 and r9 390 rig

drivers are 15.7.1 and 16.8.1

like Vorksholk i'm on windows 7 64bit ultimate.

bios are stock, settings and intensity are default.

...the only problem i had was my desktop pc with my amd fury card not mining due to "The batch file cannot be found." in the proxy, i removed the fury card and mixed it with the 280x's rig and run pretty stable there.

@ qwep1

how about the 8 characters of miner's name?
do you mean to rename miner

i just did that..

from readme..
Quote
3. Your miner name must be exactly 8 characters long. The miner expects that the input is exactly 176 total bytes (which is achieved by using a secp256k1 key and a 10-character name)  NOTE: NOT 10 like before! 8 characters, because the last two will be used to identify each GPU!

help me please

i don't understand that characters..read the readme file of the miner.

install the latest java run time environment so you can run "PascalProxyv2.jar" and input the right syntax (it is in the readme.txt file)

Works GREAT!

Getting 500MH/s on R9 280X

what amd driver version you are using?

That's what I'm wondering, I'm running the newest drivers and they seem to cause the program to crash. The benchmark runs for a few minutes and also crashes. Strange.

problem fixed download the 32bit version from here https://www.dll-files.com/msvcr120.dll.html

at the bottom of the page (there is a 64bit and a 32 bit- choose the 32 bit)

put in syswow64 directory in windows

i'm mining pascals now with my gpus Cheesy  thanks Vorksholk
