2121  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Dominance rising again. What is happening? on: July 22, 2019, 07:49:10 PM
Doesn't the reasons you have given all points out to the cryptocurrencies dominating the market and not only Bitcoin? Not if you are only talking about how Bitcoin will maintain market dominance because of it. With all the developments and progress we have in the crypto industry all cryptocurrencies are affected and because Bitcoin being the market leader it gives us assurance that the rest of the cryptos will be influence by it not against it. I know the current situation now where most of the cryptos are bleeding but its not always like that, its just because majority of the money now is with the big mover and that is Bitcoin.
2122  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Impacting crypto knowledge to younger generation on: July 22, 2019, 07:12:55 PM
Before you even plan to go on that route on teaching kids cryptocurrencies I think a much better approach for this is for you to start lessons about financial planning and investing because diving in to the topic about cryptocurrencies would only leave them with more questions than answers. Just think of it this way, if people the same age as ours are having trouble understanding what cryptocurrencies are what more could the clueless kids understand from your lesson? Just my two cents with your current plan.
2123  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: E-Commerce, Fiat to BTC on: July 21, 2019, 07:52:46 PM
You might be referring to a 3rd party service since known websites that only accepts Fiat doesn't have that kind of functionality. This has been discussed in the past and some projects have shown that they are able to do crypto payments on the users end. Their only part in this is they are responsible to pay in fiat while you pay them the cryptocurrency equal to it. Sorry if I can't give you the link because I can't find it anymore, they do have their own thread in the project development so I think you can back track them.
2124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Keith Thurman on July 20 on: July 21, 2019, 03:02:51 PM

I'm not used to seeing Pacquiao fights to end in split or unanimous decision. Early 2000, we use to bet which round his contender will be knocked out, Manny's hand is indeed weary hands by now that it ended 12 rounds. Congrats to Pacquiao, he has nothing left to prove in boxing. He got it all since he had spend his youth in boxing, he should retire doing it because he is now 40.

Well you need to consider that Manny Pacquiao is fighting top contenders at age 40 you don't expect him to have the same speed and power he has when he was on his prime. If you don't count the TKO of Lucas Matthyse his last true KO win was against Miguel Cotto which was 10 years ago after that you could see him go 12 rounds most of the time. His age is catching up but still he has defeated one of the best in his weight division and I think only a few boxers at his age can prove what he did.
2125  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Dutch first to propose money laundering laws over crypto and cash limits on: July 21, 2019, 01:34:03 PM
This could just be nothing. I know way back 2017 the European Union introduce AML standards woth a threshold of 10,000 euros to crypto exchanges and bank transfers related to crypto but based from what I see in the forum our members there doesn't expect any changes brought from it, I even doubt they are heavily enforcing it. At the end of the day they are just  anogher organization that has brought up rules that has been enforced for a long time now, without any major changes I don't see how it could affect their crypto industry that bad.
2126  Other / Meta / Re: Wall of fame / shame. Shit posts so bad that they are actually funny on: July 20, 2019, 07:50:11 PM
One of the worst currency exchange deals I've ever seen.

Hello,

I want to buy cheap btc, I can pay using Perfect Money, I can pay 100 usd per 1 BTC

You sent small amount of btc first to my address as proof, then we can do our transaction

Telegram: @crypto6969

If you are poor, please don't waste your time here

Thank you
Hahaha, Isn't his post a little bit ironic? He doesn't want poor people to waste his time but he himself with his offer shows that he is one of them. If this was not a bad joke it must be just a scam trying to fooled people to think that this was kind of a good deal. Although I have to give him credit that he said it at front that his buying your Bitcoin for cheap so I have to give him that.
2127  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the Risk worth strengthening our economy ? on: July 18, 2019, 08:14:39 PM
Unfortunately Child Labor is legal in several countries and its a move that a lot of governments has done for their family to earn a living. Not only mica is the only thing the children are harvesting from there are several others as well and one of the biggest industries taking advantage of it are the chocolate producers a lot of African countries goes up to 40% of their workforce being kids under 18 years old being hired by international giants, its their way of cutting the cost down. I know its unethical that you are robbing these kids future but nothing has been done to solve it.
2128  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Buying Amazon Gift cards with BTC? Beware! on: July 18, 2019, 07:37:52 PM
That's why an escrow or a middleman is always handy when it comes to this situation. Having a trusted escrow holding your funds to await the product from the other side assures you that you won't get dupe by them. So for newbies who are trading to other members who aren't that known yet with their trades are highly advice you to spend a little extra when it comes to trading, because you will lose more if you get scammed by them.
2129  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2017 Crash DejaVu? on: July 18, 2019, 06:57:16 PM
And just like that in just one day Bitcoin rise from 9,000$ to 10,600$. It only shows that the bulls won't go down without a fight. I have observed the volume from the short time frame charts and it's still bullish. However will still not in the clear yet, Bitcoin needs to prove that it can still go up back above 11,000$ to show that we haven't trigger the bear market prematurely. It may have stop the sell offs happening but we still need BTC to continue this up trend just to be sure we are out of it.
2130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 18, 2019, 04:20:46 PM
Yeah we will see now if Kyrie is the real problem out there. But they dont have Rozier now and do have Kemba. It will be a different kind of game unlike 2 years ago where Kyrie is out and the bench are in control.
It will be a different story.
They were doing great when Kyrie was out. I haven't heard Kemba being a locker room diva like Kyrie and I expect him to blend well with the relatively young Celtics lads. As I said, other teams can't sleep on them. They're deadly.

Kemba Walker will do good with the Celtics. Michael Jordan didn't personally trained to be nothing. He was trained to llead the Hornets and his leadership skills will no be tested out by a better team. But speaking of on who is better as a leader I don't think someone has a edge over anybody. I will say that Kyrie and Kemba are on par woth how they will lead a team.
2131  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Btc dump. It is time for some alts to recover against BTC on: July 18, 2019, 02:07:37 PM
The same pattern keeps repeating.  Eventually a lot of money will go back into altcoins and their gains will out perform bitcoin.  It is only a matter of time so make sure you have your investments spread out among all of the top coins.  Ethereum is looking like a great buy right now.

It's not even over for Bitcoin yet, yes I know there will ne a season for the alts but I don't think it will be as early as BTC's next attempt for a new ATH. These kinds of correction where it makes the market bleed says that BTC still has some influence on other coins and there shows no signs that there will be transferring one coin from another. If we start to see price differences and opposite directions towards BTC's price movement then it will be alt season.
2132  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-07-18] IDEX set to begin transition period for KYC and AML compliance on: July 18, 2019, 12:48:57 PM
Better to comply with KYC and AML requirements now then be temporarily closed by the authorities for non-compliance. For the people who are sad on what has happened don't be because this is an inevitable thing to happen once the government starts to “care” for our industry. They know that our industry is a billion dollar industry now and they don't want to miss the opportunity from earning a little bit more tax from their citizens or at least make sure that they are getting all the tax obligations they have.
2133  Economy / Economics / Re: If a pyramid runs forever, is it still a pyramid? on: July 17, 2019, 12:17:08 PM
Let's think 3Dimensionally beyond the simple MLM, ponzi.

1. The pyramid is a hierarchical structure right? Now, imagine it being surrounded by legimate businesses. I mean most "complicated" and smart ponzis are like that and can run for decades. Think Bernie Madoff.

You are only talking about MLM here or networking where they have real products but the main way to earn here is through commissions by their referrals. Unlike Ponzi schemes/HYIPs famous in the internet which they claim they drill oil, harvest solar power all of which are false businesses to begin with. MLMs stand to survive because one they are legal and two they sell products at an unreasonable rate and the way their recruiters work which are on the top of the pyramid sells vigorously that they don't care what the products worth right now they just want to earn like them as well.
2134  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Its better to have more than one email on: July 16, 2019, 07:40:57 PM
FYI "work emails" are pretty much given by the company you are working for, they either have a separate email system or use privacy based email for their work so if you are employed then you don't have to worry about this. For self-employed on the other hand its a best practice for you to separate your emails from your business to your other emails. Aside from the privacy and protection it's a simple solution for you to have an organize and efficient way to communicate with your business.
2135  Economy / Reputation / Re: game-protect gone mad on: July 16, 2019, 06:23:20 PM
Can anyone get me up to speed on why game-protect has a chance to banned in the forum? What kind of violation did he make or is it in relation with the number of supports he received for his flag? game-protect has been trolling the Gambling board for a long time now picking off newsbies here and their who they see are complaining against the gambling site so it would really be an improvement for the board to see him out of here once and for all.

A few days ago, game-protect posted a bunch of off-topic posts in service gambling threads and signature campaign threads that accused campaign managers & signature participants of being mentally ill. He ended up having 25 posts deleted for being off topic in a day or two. Such a high volume of off topic deletions has a good chance of getting a member temporarily banned. If game-protect has had previous infraction like this before, it could get him permanently banned for repeated violation.

Damn!!! If that is the case then I think he is really asking for a ban on his account. He might have gotten tired that he can't fool any newbies anymore on taking up his services that is why he is asking for the axe. A lot of members had did this with their accounts knowing that it is useless to the forum anymore I doubt that game-protect feels it in another way when he had received a lot of red paints now.

2137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 16, 2019, 01:48:14 PM
Serie A is nothing compared to its former glory and AC Milan are no longer a formidable club.  Serie A is trumped by La Liga, Bundesliga, and the EPL by a wide margin.  I might even put the French league over Serie A at this point.
But you must see now. That Serie A is a league that is very much awaited every game. I can't think you put the French league above the Italian league. The French league is very easy to predict. Because the tough club is only PSG, Monaco, Lyon. That means the possibility of a champion next season is among the ones I mentioned.

They might have lost their popularity over the past but you cannot say that they will be in the 4th or 5th place in the coefficients forever. Still Juventus is carrying the whole league showing a consistent presence in the 4 and 8 place in the Champions League each season. With Ronaldo playing in the league it serves as a wake up call for the other teams to start rebuilding and I can see a lot of teams having a lot of transfers now this early in the transfer window. Don't worry Serie A will catch up to the other leagues.
2138  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-07-14] Wells Fargo Won’t Allow Customers To Buy Bitcoin on: July 15, 2019, 07:20:41 PM
Could it be the guy referring to the tweet was using a credit card and not a debit card like what he is saying? I know that a lot of banks before didn't allow their clients to buy crypto on a credit because they are literally risking tha bank's lended money to them and not theirs. I don't see any problem at this because this user can easily open up an account or send their money to one of their bank accounts to buy BTC directly. If banks are hesitant on the industry they'll start to listen when their income starts falling.
2139  Other / Meta / Re: [FARM SUPPRESSION] Clearing the Horde of Spammers on: July 15, 2019, 06:27:21 PM
I remembered that theymos posted some kind of badge for the users and they will receive a different colored badge depending on the number of their good reports. This is some kind of appreciation for the reporters in the forum and I think this will motivate a lot of members to report spam in the forum. If this somehow happen in the future I think a lot of members will join and become a spambuster of their own so that they'll earn that badge.
2140  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Can We Expect A Legally Compliant Bitcoin Bank Soon? on: July 15, 2019, 04:32:02 PM
The question is are they even allowed to have a bank which main currency is not their own fiat currency? I know some countries don't even allow other fiat currencies to have a bank based on their country. Cryptocurrencies are also on another level since we are talking about a unregulated kind of currency here which in terms of the authorities having control over it is lesser compared to their own fiat currency. I know some banks already send loans via Bitcoin in order to avoid transfer fees but I don't think that banks can be gully backed up by an unstable currency.
