Sometime in the next 24-48hr we are likely to bottom, whatever the number would be.
Fast market.

My btc projection number is higher than Wekkel's-I don't expect us to go lower than 19-20K (they might try to push it below prior ATH for giggles).

I smell a nocoiner that sold his bitcoins at 19k.

He's not a nocoiner for what I know... he's just a bit... weird... perhaps desperately trying to DCA some extra sats...  Roll Eyes

Myself or Wekkel? ..and how would you know anything? This is just laughable, man.
Somehow, you confuse the discussion of price with price prediction OR with where I would like it to go.

I would like it to go to 100K tomorrow and stay there OR I would like it to increase 1% a day, every day for the next, say, 5 years.
It does not depend on my opinion and i am not trying to scare anybody to sell for me to buy. I can buy anytime and I do.
Somehow, around here only rah-rah messages are cogitated, it is becoming like a 'scared children' lounge.
Remember @jjg taking issue with myself saying that it is "stalled" with misplaced pontifications of his/hers.
It not only stalled, but declined a good 40% since then. It's too bad I did not sell almost any at 50-55.

Why does anyone belief its gonna drop just because we are lower and consolidating ... ? Few weeks back same people where aiming for 70-80-90-100K short-middle term, just normal market behavior imo.

Going lower is always a part of the story but why does everyone suddenly think when we have 50% drop that another 50% is gonna happen?

I see hard coiners disappoint me from time to time and probably a lot of people are getting emotionally while they think they don't etc...
At the end of the story, we are all just humans, tough I expect the highest level of HODL-DIAMOND hands from people with my activity and more....

Btw I also do hope for moon every sec,  but I do ride the waves when they are here...

I am not predicting that it would go to 19-20K.
Instead, I compared my position with @Wekkel's graph to say that IF we are in a bear, then I see 19-20K rather than 15K.
However, we might not be in a longer term bear. In this case, we could turn around right here or at 31K.

Finally, I reluctantly give a 60:40 probability to a bear for a simple reason that we seem to be in a miner liquidation situation (in China).
Hash rate is dropping and this might drag for another mo or month and a half. Incidentally, sometime after July 1, China may partially reverse because they started doing it ahead of some important celebration on July 1. In commie countries they always try to put screws on whatever freedom remains ahead of important "party" dates.

Tactically, we are about to enter the bitcoin season.
If @Wekkel is right and we do briefly go to about 15K in btc, this would mean that alts would lose 80-90% or even more.
I raised quite a bit of cash from alts in the last mo...ready to deploy to btc.
Right now-it is all house money. My initial $$ allocation to bitcoin is paid for, but no large purchases of real estate, gold, etc yet.

My btc projection number is higher than Wekkel's-I don't expect us to go lower than 19-20K (they might try to push it below prior ATH for giggles).
If this is still to be considered a bull market, a trip close to 200wk average of 13K is a no-no under normal (non emergency) circumstances.
I am not sure if we are still in a bull or bear-a coin toss.
This market cycle was characterized by two front-running (that were ahead of S2F) waves of 2019 and 2020-2021 .
Maybe they are now front-running the bear earlier than expected.

TL;DR A coin toss between a bull and a bear; raised funds from alts, ready to deploy to bitcoin (at least 90%) when I am ready. If current bear reverses back to bull soonish, then I will ladder to the upside faster.

There will be no taping, pulling or rubbing of neither my Helmuth nor my glockenspiel, thank you.
But thanks for your input.  Grin

Edit, What's doc leaves?

Not sure about your country but in England they are a broad-leaved plant that grows near nettles that contain a chemical that soothes the pain and itching that nettles cause (the 'doc' is short for 'doctor', I believe). Hmm. Just looked and it's "dock" leaves and apparently they don't actually contain anything, it's just the rubbing action that helps. Well shit, there's another piece of my childhood gone Sad

I guess you could make some nettle tea. Brings a new meaning to teabagging.

Edit: Apparently alkali substances can help with the nettle stings.

Looked it up.
Have seen it countless of times but never new it's name, apparently it's "Tomtskräppa" in Swedish, weird name.
It sems to have a weird name in many languishes, in German it's "Stumpfblättriger Ampfer", I bet no Germans in here knew that.

no, but Robin Gosens is a great player..and germans knew this already, apparently, but I didn't.
How does this relate to a prior conversation?
Ostensibly, from the German angle, I guess...
WO is what WO does.
nighty night

So It was hot as hell last night and I decided to go outside, naked, to cool of (I live in the countryside). It so happened that I walked in to my neighbors old corral and what I thought was just high grass was also nettles. I stung my legs, butt, and Helmuth and the glockenspiel, I have had a trying night.

What a story....who's Helmuth and what was the use of the musical instrument? lol.
I think i have a pretty good guess, but not very familiar with swedish idioms.

I bet there was much more activity here at 5K (coming up or going down).
Are WO peeps exhausted? Many were counting on lambos in the fall, some already bought their ranches and lakes.

I am not disappointed of bitcoin, but my faith in humanity took a dip the last year-year and a half.
It just feels wicked...
I sometimes have an overwhelming desire to not do anything productive at all.

In most cases, instead of being fancy, people should just invest in SPY or mutual fund equivalent from Vanguard or VTSAX.
Bonds, shmonds at 0-1.5% are NOT it, unless you are an institution which uses leverage.

Sorry, that's a wrong "INX" (INMax vs INX Ltd-which was controversial).
What a stupid name, anyway.
The one he worked on (INX_Ltd, don't know the ticket symbol)- is not trading yet, imho

OT: Mow's INX is this one:

Could be a stillborn company anyway...

Two rate hikes by the end of 2023?
They would probably do at least 4 (1%) by the end of 2022 at the latest.

Check out the rich bitcoin dude....Novo...I like the guy, but that diamond chain..wowza...maybe 2-3 btcs, lol
la vida loca, eh?

Interesting...it looks like they removed stablecoins from dominance calculation on CMC-bitcoin is showing 61.6% currently (jumped from 44-45%)

I like the concept of 'laying flat'..
"It describes young people’s preference to lay flat on a couch or floor rather than working hard to make a living."

CCP and people like E. Warren will cause generational apathy.

In a long term, maybe 100 years, China will be another USSR or worse.
However, right now this s-t might cause some block delay..until the difficulty adjustment happens.

What happened? Elon adopting bitcoin again?  Tongue

Obviously the bitch Elon is back to town…

Looks like Ukraine is currently going to town with the Netherlands  Cheesy
Watch if you can.

It went downhill after Ronald Koeman left for Barcelona.

Frank de Boer is an idiot, great former player bad trainer.

Missing de Ligt and Virgil is also a huge disappointment.

Exit-door asap.

I hope belgium will win this tournament, they deserve it.

Edit: LoL 3-2 Lucky win.

Thinking the same, especially the coaching skills of De Boer…. And indeed there defense is a bit ruined whiteout there best central defenders

But I do really hope for Belgium as well in this tournament, they deserve it.

I did not see the first game..did De Bruyne already recover from his skull fracture?
Obviously, Hazard can do a decent passing job to Lukaku, but Kevin is a special player.
