They will never take Rpitelia alive.....

Nice found there, now I feel stupid for my wasted time arguing with that guy, a picture say a 1000 word...

Alright, let me be a little more blunt, shares on havelock aren't direct, though they can be converted to such.

well theoretically they are not but technically they are Wink

from havelockinvestments

Quote
This is asset is being offered to provide a convenient venue for investors to buy and sell full shares of Bitfountain’s ASICMINER virtual profit-shares.

Shares
Each 1 share of AM1 represents 1 "direct share"of ASICMINER maintained and verified by either Friedcat or any exchange ASICMINER is traded on, and has rights to all of the dividends of a whole ASICMINER share.

Dividends
Each AM1 share has the right to 100% of its respective dividends. There are no asset management fees for AM1 shares. The amount of the dividend is defined as the same amount distributed by ASICMINER to the shares held by the issuer for this asset. Dividends will be paid within 48 hours or less of confirmed payments from ASICMINER.

Voting Rights
ASICMINER does not convey voting rights to its shareholders, and thus, no voting rights can be passed on for this asset.

Very Nice, so you are saying that Asicminer will focus on selling chips.
But also Asicminer could make some full miners just to keep in yours mining facilities?

this is what I've understood yes, really huge news, I have a feeling that AM will change the future of mining if they achieve what they aimed for..
2164  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN]ASICMiner Publicly Looking for Potential Customers/Partners for New Chips on: January 29, 2014, 06:32:10 PM
I is time to buy shares? Stock exchange same as cex.io will be presented?

you can buy direct shares at www.havelockinvestments.com

Direct shares? Is this new? O_O

this is not new !! I don't know where is your confusion ? you asked where to buy shares, and I told you where can you get them, otherwise this is not a new IPO, ASICMINER exist for a couple of years now, and proved to be the best business around bitcoin economy...

basically when you buy a share you will be entitled to a weekly dividend that they pay for every outstanding shares from the mining and hardware sale income, you can also trade the shares and speculate on their prices, the price has already jumped 15-18 % since the announcement...

Full devices from ASICMiner are definitely going to exist on the form of samples and small batches. ASICMiner may also build new mining farms based on new chips. Unsliced wafers may also be available for sale. But the main business direction is to provide packaged chips.

- This is the future of AM business, mining is on left for others , AM will focus on hardware sale. Posts like this make me laugh : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=438359.msg4820725#msg4820725
- Price is low and must be competitive, profits will be also low , unfortunately
- How much profit can you get from 0.49$/G-0.99$/g range  ? top will be 10$/chip.

Brief calculation (minerpumpkin) :

10 000 000/400 000 =25$/share/month
At 1000$/BTC = 0.025BTC/share/month
At 0.3BTC/share ROI=1year. If price of BTC goes up, ROI = bye bye.

Subtract all spending's, investment for next generation of chips.

My assumption is that we will never see 0.02BTC/share/month and ROI is ~2-3 years for all the shares bought above 0.4BTC

ps ...Please take this as a personal opinion , I own AM shares.

I will buy 20 shares at 0.5 BTC from you if you are willing to sell, and I can bet 1 BTC that the profit will be more than what you predicted there, will you go down against me on this one ? you have 1 hour to think about it ...
2167  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: January 29, 2014, 01:49:31 PM
the share price will skyrocket now, I wish if I bought when they were lower....

EDIT: I cant even access havelockinvestments now, it is really under heavy load at the moment, I keep getting the cloud flare page...

yeah, I'm getting that at the moment. Shows wicked demand for AM shares ..............

Dont be blind and dont try to force your wishes on someones elses opinion please. If you look at what is happening you would know that order book at Havelock is extremely shallow and panic traders will push price way above what is worth it. But the truth is ASICminer already peaked in their mining business already and unless they will explore other ventures anything above 0.5/share is in my opinion pure bubble. There is way to much competition already and even if 1/4 of what is being planned by other companies would become a real, AM still cant achieve those 20% of network. Even if they overdeliver and overachive in every aspect they still would only hold around 5% (Dont get me wrong that is impressive) and a big part of their income was from selling HW(if not the bigger half?) and now BTC is worth 10x and you cannot charge what you used to in BTC too (not even close). So AM realistically can earn something around 0.1 - 0.15btc/share in next 1-2years and after that it will go downhill (meaning it will get even harder in mining business).

So please dont try to make people buy shares that will probably make them lose value in long term.

I will buy 20 shares at 0.5 BTC from you right now, will you sell them ?

Charlie Lee's house, this morning:

"Hey babe, wish me luck at the NY hearings - a whole panel and no-one from Bitcoin, just me - founder of Litecoin"

"OK honey - is that good?"

"Yep, I bet Litecoin will go to the moon.."*

*LTC down, he blew it.

As a large LTC holder I'm happy they saw that LTC is the silver to BTC's gold and wanted him there.

He is not a speaker and he does not have a foundation to back him up. (yet maybe)

aren't you one of the supposed foundation creators ? hahahah I remember something back in 2012 when you formed it and the community went crazy over that, I don't remember good the details but I always had in mind that you were a part of it, and last time I was checking they have the Litecoin association as well....

I was an LTC hardcore user, I started mining when difficulty was around 18 when the notroll.in still existed at the time, but I sold all my Litecoins, I don't know if I feel the regret about that, but one thing I am sure about, all the scam coins pooping up made me reconsider my point of view.

although I don't hate LTC but everything is attached to bitcoin success so this is why I don't hold any...

I have the same experiences with butterfly labs.
They don't give a shit about customers. They cancel my order and after wanting a refund they uncancel my order.
Also they didn't answer to my emails so I lost more than one month from first order queue, etc.

About bitmine they didn't aswer my email i send 3 emails.
Their exchange rate USD to BTC is insane high. So I decide not to buy from them even I can go there and pick it up.
Because when I can get this item, 1THash will be almost unusable.

if their exchange rate USD/BTC was really high then this was excellent, but I think you meant the opposite,in other words really low, in this case I call bullshit because they use Bitpay, and most of manufacturers and merchants uses bitpay, so at the moment you placed your order you would pay for the same rate and it doesn't matter if it was cointerra/BFL/hashfast/bitfurrystrikesback/bitmine.....

because bitpay exchange rate is known and anybody can check it before placing an order and when placing an order https://bitpay.com/bitcoin-exchange-rates

I think you should go bitmine place order and seen the amount of Bitcoin then look at bitpay.
There is a big difference

I see what you're saying. I placed a test order (which I won't complete since these things are way overpriced!) and they used $760.20/BTC to calc the amount of BTC to be paid, while BitPay was quoting $789.72/BTC at the same time. I'm pretty sure they're not using BitPay as their payment processor.

so when you clicked check out did you get redirected to a page ? what was that page ' wasn't it bitpay ? because I am sure they used bitpay for their avalon clones...

EDIT: WTF are you doing here anyway ?!!! Bitcoiners are really strange hahaha , Bitcoin adiction hahah

charlie lee is disappointing, I really expected him to do better, in fact all 3 of them suck hard, if I went there I would talk better then all the 3 put together
2174  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 28, 2014, 08:10:57 PM
ok charlie lee is really going on retard mode "then the US government can join mining to protect the network" WTF!!!!

I actually thought this was a hilarious point, they'll never do it, but it was awesome to hear him say it.

yes I edited my post:

Edit: when I think about it for a moment, if really US tries to join mining they will give bitcoin more credibility, if they just wont approach 51%, then we all have to worry

If people forget there have been companies in usa on some address where nobody was. Companies with phone number and also some pictures of people which doesn't exist.
Somebody should check company by going there.

except that this company really exist and members have visited them before....

Cointerra begins shipment! Hope CryptX is high in line for batch #1.
http://cointerra.com/pr-cointerra-begins-shipment-terraminer-iv-worlds-fastest-bitcoin-miner/

That's good. Hope Bitmine follows soon.

Bitmine will start production 2 weeks from now, at least this is what a user said on their official thread, he said that he got an e-mail saying that production starts the end of next week !!
Nice. But CryptX is not in this first batch (december), it's in early January batch, and end of January.

which makes it even worse... I bought 1% of all shares and I was thinking about buying even more but I will call it off
