2221  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you believe in Aliens? on: March 04, 2014, 05:39:47 PM
I wonder if somewhere in a distant galaxy other living
creatures are discussing whether alien life exists on
their own bitcoin forum..
2222  Other / Off-topic / Re: Snake has a fight with a crocadile! on: March 04, 2014, 05:38:13 PM
Animals fighting? What are they, beasts?
Lol, how is this news?
2223  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price at end of 2014? on: March 04, 2014, 05:36:28 PM
Hackers and scammer will prevent the Bitcoin from skyrocketing. At the end of 2014 the price will stay stable at $500 - $750.
Scammers are only a problem if people are stupid enough to get scammed.
Be cautious and don't give away your ****ing money to anyone. You wouldn't do it with your real currency, why would you with bitcoins?
Be aware of investment and ponzi schemes and you'll be fine.
2224  Other / Meta / Re: Usage on BitcoinTalk.org on: March 04, 2014, 05:34:47 PM
So I've noticed that postings on this forum have dropped significantly.  What's up with that?

The only thing that I can think of is that there is a significant amount of members that were burnt by the GOX debacle and are now despondent. As a result, there is an avoidance of anything Bitcoin related for awhile.

Probably another result is the change in forum policy with signatures from Moderator Theymos.  He applied it globally so only Full Members and up have color, larger font, etc in their signature lines.

Less new members spamming posts all over the place because they won't get paid the same way with small advertising sigs.
Atleast get your facts straight before posting. There are not only the newbie posts that have decreased, have a look around, this counts for everyone, including non-spammers. They removed the incentive of posting together with the incentive of posting. ( Not saying it's dead, it's far from, but it's way calmer since the change ).
2225  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: FIRST EVER (no profit) PONZI 150% PAYOUT ! on: March 04, 2014, 05:32:46 PM
Ah well, if this is true I guess you're just a one in a billion person,
who doesn't want to make money the easiest way there is. Props
to you. Still, a ponzi is a ponzi, but you wrote that yourself in OP. Smiley

If you're 16 in the UK you can join the Army with parental permission, no, there shouldn't be a separate voting system, that's just both stupid and inefficient there's no good reason to stop teenagers from voting, it's just people yet again discriminating against other people based on what they are lol.
Being below the age of 18 myself I know for sure that I wouldn't want 90% of the people my own age that I know to decide the future of my country. You seem to me like a 16 year old going through his rebellious stage with some sort of freedom obsession that feels the world is unfair to him. Don't worry, we've all gone through that stage.
2227  Economy / Services / Re: NEW! bitcoin-scratchticket.com | Earn up to 0.1 BTC / Month | Up-front payment on: March 04, 2014, 05:28:53 PM
Payout are too low ...

Currently we are the highest paying I can find. Did you know that in addition to the up front payments, your link on bitcoin-scratchticket.com earns 0.001 * total amount bet by anyone you refer.

Please point me to other programs and I will try to beat them.

Thanks for your input...

--- vineyard
You are FAR off from being the higher paying program. As of today I would earn 0.008 btc per MONTH (4usd) with your program. That is given i post 200 times. If I decided to use primedice, I'd get for the same number of posts 0,02 (11usd) for a month.

Edit; After copy pasting your formula ( all the zeros got me confused ) I came to the conclusion that I would earn 0.0008 btc rather than 0.008. (.45usd)

0.000005x42=0.00021
0.00021x4=0.00084
0.00084=0.4 USD

Correct me if I'm wrong

Good analysis. Primedice has a good signature program. I think that we are a bit different in that we are fully automated, pay up front, count all posts toward the payout, and most importantly offer a 0.001*(total bets) profit share on every referral that bets on our site (in addition to your weekly payout). This goes on forever, so it adds up to a lot of BTC and builds upon itself week to week. Our site provides complete reporting of your earnings so you can see the value of the profit share program. Further, our profit share payments are fully verifiable/auditable, and paid out automatically each Sunday (covering the previous week).

Also, if folks have specific ideas on how they might generate referrals, we will negotiate a higher profit share depending on what is proposed. PM me with any ideas you may have.

Finally, after seeing the results of our program, and taking into consideration your post, we may adjust our payouts. Stay tuned...
Thanks for the response!
I get that there is the extra chance to earn from the profit share, but that's pretty much an uncertain amount you can't really control.
I'd suggest you take the average of the payouts you do for the profit share per week, and add that to the total payment instead, and remove the referral earnings.
It would make each weekly payment more solid and perhaps increase the payouts, making people willing to use your signature.
I for one can't do it with these prices atm.

That's a good idea. The problem with that, though, is some folks posts are more likely to generate real users than others. So it wouldn't be fair across the board. However, I am currently studying our click through rates and derived profit that the program is bringing in. It is likely that I may adjust payments in the near future. Of course all existing members of the program would benefit from this too.

I am determined to earn your signature  Smiley Check back here in a week or so for an update.
Haha! I sure will mate. I hope you make a good enough offer to get me interested too!
2228  Other / Off-topic / Re: ...after the two are caught NAKED in the back of his pickup truck. on: March 04, 2014, 05:23:47 PM
So I take it the fact that teenagers can join the army, be in debt because of massive hyperinflation and borrowing committed by adults who screw them over, the education system, driving laws and labour laws don't affect them in the slightest?
In what country do people below the age of 18 join the army?
About the education system, you could argue that would be an individual voting system for that, perhaps lowering the age restriction and letting the people who actually are educated at the time have a say in it.
2229  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC Wallet on: March 04, 2014, 05:21:00 PM
What if the transaction volume is 100 or 1000 times greater in five years than it is now?

indeed it will be. And what is the problem with it?

The blockchain will be terrabytes and terrabytes
By the time it's increased to a huge size our own storage memory capacities will be enough to handle it, look at the development over the last 10 years and you'll get what I'm saying.
2230  Other / Off-topic / Re: ...after the two are caught NAKED in the back of his pickup truck. on: March 04, 2014, 05:20:04 PM
I wonder how long it is before adults finally admit that people under the age of 18 have a mind of their own?

p.s. I think teenagers should be given the vote, maybe even younger
Meh, the reason teenagers aren't allowed to vote is because voting is primarily in the end about things that you're not really involved in before you're 18. Not to say their opinions aren't worth anything, but when it comes to laws, tax regulations etc most sub 18 teenagers doesn't have the experience or knowledge to be able to take part in a vote. Imo.

Deposit guys! This is the best possible ponzi
It's only good if others deposit. Are you perhaps afraid of losing your money?
Hah, no, I hope nobody is stupid enough to risk their money to a ponzi. In the
end OP will run off with as much money as he possibly can, no matter what he
says.

Yeah i will run off with 1000 btc and will be so rich Smiley  . Sorry but here is just not posible as soon as we have balance i payout so i never have more balance than what next deposit was.

And i hope that to. That's why i made this Cheesy .
Mate, I can't see any reason why you would be running a site, putting effort and time into it if you didn't make -any- profit from it.
I mean you will get whatever the last guy who ever invests deposits as, but that's about it.
2233  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Earnbtc, new site! Feedback welcome! on: March 04, 2014, 05:14:50 PM
Mentioning transactions against payment adds credibility to the free faucets. U may get the list of a few here => https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=460342.0 ...rest u need to find out on uR own. And there r some mentioned in uR list which are actually adding 1 satoshi/per day and wont ever pay. Better if u remove those scams...
I'm not exactly sure what you mean. The faucets are all sending directly to microwallet / coinbox. 90% of them doesn't have 1 exact payout, but rather a chance to win 1 of 5 sums. Of course the lower rewards are won more frequently, the higher rewards are mainly there as an incentive. If you'd provide a link of the faucets that you're calling out as 'scams' I'll happily look into it and if so remove it.

Thanks for the response!

Qoinpro is in your list. they never paid and hopefully will never do. they add 1 satoshi per day. microwallet is another thing one should avoid. it is actually a product of Land of Bitcoins. So u r actually forcing your users to keep coins in the hand of Land of Bitcoins. Dont trust a free faucet unless they can show u a Tx on blockchain. The real faucets like freebitco.in or coinlearn.org actually pay and we can verify it on the blockchain.
Qoinpro claims they're in their beta stage, therefore they're adding very small amounts while monitoring their system. While this might be complete bullshit, there is no work required to earn anything from their website, so there is literally nothing to lose, except the 30 seconds it takes to sign up.
About microwallet - what exactly do you mean? It's a website for micro transactions such as coinbox.me, it pays you automatically when you reach 5800-ish satoshi if you set the withdrawal limit to the lowest. No site would put effort in scamming people on an amount worth 0.6 usd, lol.
2234  Other / Meta / Re: Proposal: Disallow Ads in Signatures on: March 04, 2014, 05:11:24 PM
I agree, need to weed out spammers. but to be honest i like seeing all the sigs and the colors added flare to this forum. niw the forum look like every other forum. generic
Well according to moderators the signatures weren't the problems. It was the spammers.
Therefore they removed the signatures, and not the spammers.
.
..

=))

Na but the forums are calmer now. I suppose there are benefits of that too.

Meh, "legal" age. Depends where you live, anything above 16 goes imo.
Although student-teacher relationships should be prohibited for other reasons.
2237  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Interesting way to earn interest on your BTC… on: March 04, 2014, 05:00:53 PM
3 activity newbie recommending you a website where you risk your money for uncertain interest on it.
Careful with these sites people, there aren't a single one that isn't there to make profit, and the best profit
is made when you run off with people's money. Be aware.
