2261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 11, 2021, 02:02:22 PM

We will see the next page of this story after Ravena's contracts expired, let see if how interested he is playing along side with his bro!

The contract will not expire soon, there's a lot of games he will have to play before it's over and who knows if that time will come and the B league will not anymore interested in him. They want it now and waiting for 1 to 2 years before they can have an age Ravena is not really a good choice IMO.

Well, maybe he just has to accept that he will only stay in the PBA unless the PBA will allow a buy out of contract which for sure they will not give a chance to happen.

2262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Naoya Inoue vs Michael Dasmarinas June 19 on: June 11, 2021, 01:34:13 PM
Just going back when Donaire vs Inoue happened on where it is almost happened on turning of events.

That's a different scenario, remember that Donaire was a champion, once a champion I mean, while Dasmarinas is just a contender. Though I believe in upset, we can't compare the Inoue vs Donaire fight to the present fight of Inoue.

And the odds were different as well.

Naoya Inoue 1/18
Michael Dasmarinas 8/1

x8 odds for Dasmarinas, that's a great return of our money if indeed we will see an upset here.
Dasmarinas needs to win by KO, otherwise, he might lose in the decision because he is the challenger.
2263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DogeCoin will Flip Bitcoin on: June 10, 2021, 11:53:31 PM
If Mcdonalds and  Stabucks start to accept Dogecoin and present it throughout all their shops worldwide. Would it flip Bitcoin?
I think yes because after it tons of other merchans will accept doge and it can easily flip bitocin.

Also if you look at the last 7 days Dogecoin is stable on the 0.5.
It became a stable coin. Elon musks says he woks with dev to impove it.
Bitcoin electricity/techonlogy sucks.

I can see Dogecoin the meme coin flips BTC.

Lol there is no way mcdonalds or Starbucks accepts doge before they do bitcoin.  Everyone is kidding themselves if they think that bitcoin isn't forging ahead with adoption.  Why in bull runs do people completely overlook bitcoin and think (insert coin name) is the next bitcoin.  Buy bitcoin that will get adopted well before something like doge does lol.
Dogecoin cannot flip bitcoin, not today or in the years to come. If without Elon, dogecoin is nothing but a meme coin who will only end up being dump by investors. And once Elon is done and will be out from crypto, his meme coin will also go with him and might eventually die.

If there might be chances that bitcoin will be flip by other coin, it will be ethereum. But i think they would come up a great team for an investment so they will surely prosper together.
2264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk is for crypto or just for attention to boost Tesla, SpaceX? on: June 10, 2021, 11:24:16 PM
IMO Musk is a distraction.
I cant exactly say why.
I just think he is.
They'll tell you about Musk and China all day long (not that I am a fan of Chinese meddling in Crypto) but they'll never talk about the big boys and their plays and what they're currently doing to the US dollar, the Euro etc.
He is because of the tweets attention that he has been making.

I think distraction is one of the correct descriptions. Yeah, there must be something that the bigger players including him have been doing but for them to be able to be uncaught, the attention is thrown to bitcoin.

Making issues that has been not really an issue at all.
Probably Elon right now is a disaster for all crypto enthusiasts unless he did not tweet about bitcoin and Tesla still accepting bitcoin payments right now.

I honestly think Elon is a smart guy but because of his own greed for money, he just created actions that are beyond our control. And that made him a big disaster in the crypto community.
2265  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto vs Fiat on: June 10, 2021, 10:53:45 PM

If you understand this picture, congratulations, if you don’t , then you don’t understand money , no matter how much you have in the bank.
#Bitcoin  is down 4% today. But next few months BTC could pump 400%.  Pump or dump, storing your money in crypto beats saving up in the bank.

Who can guarantee that the bitcoin price will not stay stable below $10k? We believe in blockchain. However, there is no guarantee that a more solution-oriented crypto currency will not emerge after 5 years due to current energy problems.
Yes there are really no guarantees in crypto and all those early adopters have come to witnessed that but still they take the risk and end up having economic progress at the present.

Although risky, but bitcoin investment if you can handle the pressures can definitely beat up gold and real estate investment once properly managed. I do not want to discourage people who only prefer gold and real estate investment but if you can try investing in crypto, you would really say bitcoin is amazing and incomparable.
2266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin/ETH replace fiat someday? on: June 10, 2021, 10:21:02 PM

I don't know if this will happen or not, even if this happens, it certainly won't be immediately and run well because a transition like this needs adjustments and I don't think an adjustment like this is an easy thing and takes time.
and I think this is very unlikely to happen
I see that bitcoin and ethereum are having good developments each year but i still cannot foresee that they will soon to replace fiat from its position. Although no one can rightly predict here but it will take more years for positive developments for bitcoin and ethereum to become good currencies in the future. They might be adopted as currencies but they can never let the people stop from using fiat because they are very used to it.
2267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the best time to invest in Bitcoin on: June 10, 2021, 10:01:53 PM
From the little research have done I believe I still very early to buy bitcoin if you can buy and hold bitcoin for future purpose I believe you will never regret buying bitcoin there are lot's of people that are scared must of them think Bitcoin will die some of them think Bitcoin will go back to the start some people even call bitcoin scam but I will advise you to forget about what people are saying and buy bitcoin coin now. Must people where regretting why they didn't buy bitcoin few years ago but I still believe this is the best time to buy.
Have you ever faced the following situation: where the price of gold falling – it's a healthy correction, the stock market is falling – it's time for buying, and $BTC is falling – it's a scam, I've told you it will fall to 0!
BTC still recovering, don't miss opportunity to buy the dip.

Bitcoin will still continue to fall in the days to come but it never crossess my mind that it will eventually reach 0 value. Even before, it ended at $3k and look at now the price has really surge more than what we expected.

For now, it's not really at its dip price maybe but this is still the best time to invest in bitcoin as its price will gradually recover and is expected to reach new ATH in the long run. So start investing now and dream of big profits in the next days once bitcoin price starts to surge.
2268  Economy / Economics / Re: Are some too blind to see? on: June 09, 2021, 11:42:45 PM
I am here for profit too, but nobody complaint about it. Company should use their capital wisely so their money will not stop circulating. They have to invest their money. But the point is the big company like Tesla choose Bitcoin as one of their investment. In my opinion, if there is nothing special in bitcoin then I am not sure that Tesla will invest in it. The thing that must be underlined is Bitcoin is profitable enough so it can be one of the top  investment choice.
Tesla may have seen special potential in bitcoin that made them invest in bitcoin but as a big company, they have all the freedom to choose where they can make more profits and bitcoin is definitely their best choice.

Like any other billionaires, big companies are also taking advantage of the opportunities to accumulate more profits. I guess nobody would come into crypto and just ignore all the possibilities that would make them even more richer.
2269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are all altcoins dependent on Bitcoin? on: June 09, 2021, 11:03:34 PM
I want to understand if all altcoins are built upon the foundation of BTC. This is because when there is severe crash of BTC, all other coins, I mean all, also crash.
One thing we can very well say that the alt market followed the Bitcoin path and everyone wants to make money and initially it was all about fun coins and majority expecting that it could help them make money but the way the market is moving, everything follows Bitcoin yvaluation and the market moves along with it and when there is a correction in Bitcoin the entire market fallalong with it.
Bitcoin may create huge impact to the crypto market but in the real sense, not all altcoins are fully dependent on bitcoin. Stable coins have their own path not likely follow the path of bitcoin.

But once bitcoin's value starts to fall, most of the altcoins are experiencing price decline too. The whole market seems to fall apart even when some stable coins still manage to increase their price and survived in the bearish market.
2270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin as safe as its believers say? on: June 09, 2021, 10:39:55 PM
The private keys that were taken by the Department of Justice were taken from the guy's hard disk and he was using coinbase, so that goes to show you how naive some poeple can be, if you are doing something illeagal you probably should be more carfull where you put your money and how to secure it, peopel are making such a thing out of this and blaming bitcoin and thinking that blockchain can be hacked and intercepted by goivernmmnet agencies when its literly the guy who owns the key's fault for not securing it.
Everyone has kept an eye on bitcoin so bitcoin user should always be extra careful in doing all his transactions and should always secure his private keys all the time.

The government has always bad to say when it comes to bitcoin and this is the reason why they are not yet legalizing and adopt bitcoin as a currency. Bitcoin will always be safe unless someone manage to steal from it from the owner and used as a means for illegal things.
2271  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Covid-19 carrying the growth in digital currencies? on: June 09, 2021, 10:07:13 PM

As a result of Covid -19, in payment preferences, Many companies and authorities around the world are increasingly looking at digital currencies as an alternative way to make transactions in digitalized world. So guys what do you think about ? How will be easy the day today life after adopting for digital currencies?
As we experience this never ending pandemic, we've seen how much crypto has grown for the price. During the beginning of Covid, just after a few month bitcoin made a bull run that exceeded everyone's expectation. Although we cannot fully credit it all to the current pandemic, it still made a huge impact on making crypto more well-known all over the world as payments using physical money became unideal since we are trying to avoid the passing of the virus. There has been a lot of investment and payment made with the use of digital currency even up until now which makes it look like we are on the transition of having crypto over fiat already.
Things have gone worst when covid-19 pandemic has just started but it turned out differently for crypto. There was a good motivation for crypto and people have developed interest in which they can still make transactions online while they are enjoying the comfort at home. But what has gained more advantage is that crypto being used as an investment. Most companies have been closed due to bankcruptcy and employees got jobless. These people have made good entry in crypto more particularly bitcoin and right now, they are on their way of making profits while staying at home.
2272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Gas Fees Drop on: June 09, 2021, 09:46:06 PM
The ethereum gas fee is low from this week. I have swapped some token with low fees. I hope now ethereum network will again good for everyone and everyone will like Ethereum Network.
It's good to hear that ethereum gas fee is quite low already and that people will surely come back for ethereum transactions. But i see this fee has all the chances to get high again once this market returns to normal. Most of the transactions fees these days are becoming cheap but since the market is in dip, things are really expected that way. But when this market becomes bullish again, i think transactions fees will increase again.
2273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Don't Want To Hear Anybody Crying When BTC Will Reach 1M Per Coin! on: June 08, 2021, 11:58:55 PM
Certain things need be learnt and requires clear understanding. Only then what have been invested gets value. Simply by force investing into it with fear and half minds will always ends up with loss. I've experienced this with my friends, because I've explained them and they never gave it a try. Now they've realised the need and came back. As a part each and every person who have invested wholeheartedly have gained good profit.
This is true. Anyone cannot be force to invest just because of the profits waiting ahead but it should be the investor's own good will to start investing so he will also be responsible of his own actions. And anyone who get to invest wholeheartedly are most likely to succeed in the end and not those who are forced to invest.

2274  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think Elon is manipulating the market? on: June 08, 2021, 11:40:20 PM
Even before his entry into the cryptomarket there were market crashes and recovery. Now his tweets have been setting value to cryptomarket. Doesn't this looks like he's manipulating the market. People are dump to fall for it, but it is also true he has the ability to manipulate as the volume he holds is big. Maybe within months he'll start his own Bitcoin. By the time people will fall for it, just because it is created by the richest person.
Elon is a smart guy so he makes use of his wealth to start manipulating the market. Whatever tweets he made have directly affected the value of the market even the current dip of bitcoin at the moment. But aside from him, there are other big whales too in the crypto market that have also affected the current condition and when they move, they move secretly. So not only Elon but the rest of them have contributed the market to be bearish.
2275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: June 07, 2021, 11:53:14 PM
Of course this will be a very long process and a doorway to even more complex blockchain elements. All countries can start to observe and evaluate the development of Bitcoin and El Salvador as the country that first made Bitcoin a legal tender.
This study can of course be used as initial data for the implementation of blockchain technology on a wider scale in other countries. I strongly support this.

Anyway, if they fail, they can always go back to where they are. No harm done. But people will now be open to other possibilities when they start to orient themselves with crypto. Maybe, find another means how to earn money on their own. Because during this pandemic, a lot of people rely on crypto market to earn a lil bit of income like doing these bounty programs, participating on crypto tasks, getting airdrop, doing progring works and the likes, selling their artworks via NFTs,  and many other things. This will open more jobs to people and so it will help their economy in return.
But if the bill passes the congress, then it will be a big hit for bitcoin and the whole crypto market will definitely be in bullish season. If not, they will surely end up another means to sustain their needs aside from bitcoin.

I'm impressed on how open minded the President is. I see he's a good leader because his citizens comes first in him and the fact that he believes in bitcoin when most of the governments refuse to adopt, he must be one thing of a kind.
2276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding 5 years a just a imagination on: June 07, 2021, 11:21:02 PM

we keep the coins at least 5 years , but its too long imagination.  you can proof it. 2018 early NEM coin was top 6 Marketcap now 56. so keeping its useless. we have to updated everytime and get the action the correct time and exit.

Now i think bear market is going on , so holding for 4,5 years just a imagination. specially i have to say that TOP 5 coins , we must keep  most probebly they will surpass the All time high again.

what all your perspectives?

I also have the same opinion as you. holding 5 years is an imagination. because I think the bull market will occur every 2 to 3 years. and this bullish happened in early 2018 and is now happening in the middle of 2021. because of the experience I have had in 2018 and 2021 then I will hold the altcoin for at least 3 years then after that I will look for new altcoins that have better popularity
If you can keep holding coins for 5 years, then it would make you create huge profits but it also depends on what kind of coins your are holding. If you chose to keep altcoins, the risk is definitely high as we know already that there is pump and dump season that happens anytime so you should atleast consider to hold ethereum as it has high chances to survive in long term. I also suggest to hold bitcoin as it will always bound to recover after it falls, unlike shitcoins that will always end up dead coins and will leave you losing your capital.
2277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Haven't Checked Elon Musk's Tweets For 2 Weeks And Don't Plan To! Life Is Good on: June 04, 2021, 10:00:28 PM
Sometime life is not going as we expected, I unfollowed him but somehow his tweets appeared in my twitter dashboard. Elon was absent about some times but this Friday he breakup and guess what? Bitcoin fell down more than 7% and my happy life turn into shade. It's truly difficult to get release from him, does Elon Musk's is too big to ignore?
Elon Musk is probably the biggest thing in crypto right now. Once he starts taking a move, the market will suddenly change. And things like this cannot be controlled by us.

However, if we are confident we the coins we invested, no matter how high the FUDS, the coins will eventually rise up for recovery. So we should be more patient this time because what is happening in the market is just temporary. When all things are done, the market will return to its normal condition and Elon Musk will no longer affect the market anymore.
2278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 04, 2021, 09:03:06 PM

May I know the source of it that NLEX allows voiding the contract?

And as to my knowledge, it's not just about Kiefer/NLEX contract. There is also a part of the contract where involves PBA-NLEX-Kiefer. Commissioner Marcial will not just state an official statement about that issue if there's no violation on Kiefer's part.
I don't have a source but usually, when a company or management gives the contract, they're the only one that voids it in any scenario that they want so I'm thinking that they'll do it for Kiefer and there will be no penalties will be given to Kiefer as they've given their support to him moving to Japan. So if NLEX gave a go signal, then he still has to face the PBA management. I don't know the actual process but hopefully both parties will give him the go signal.

Maybe they will let him go as it's not so detrimental to the team, since the coach gave a go signal, then the management should understand that NLEX has to rebuild, acquire more players that could make this team compete with big teams. First, it was Jericho Cruz playing abroad, now, Kiefer Ravena. They need to fill those lacking players.
2279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You hoping that the next coin Elon will hype is one of the coin you are holding on: June 04, 2021, 04:15:47 PM
actually it shouldn't be that easy for a person even if he has so many followers to manipulate the market to his liking, anyway given the similarity with dogecoin i hope that the next coin elon musk will talk about will be ShibaPup
I'm not a fan of Elon Musk but if given that the  next coin he will tweet will surge high, then i hope it would be bitcoin again. Bitcoin created a huge decline and it all started when Tesla refuse to accept bitcoin payment and Elon tweets another co in which is Dogecoin.

Although i did not fall with the current dip and prefer holding than panic selling, but i still hope that bitcoin will rise up again in the soonest time. I trusted bitcoin's potential and even without Elon's tweet, bitcoin will eventually recover in time and is even expected to reach new ATH after this long bearish season.
2280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 04, 2021, 01:08:19 PM
The baby face assassin is back.

Larry Fonacier back for NLEX after skipping PBA bubble

Another veteran who is at the same age as Pingris, Fonacier being with the NLEX should improve the offense, his 3 point shooting is still very accurate so it's good news for the NLEX who will lose their star player Kiefer Ravena.
