I'm still waiting for my book to arrive. Nothing on the mailbox so far. I'm hoping to receive it by the end of the week.  Undecided

Yea I hope so too, its funny how it takes way longer than the postal services say.

Has anyone else received their orders?

I believe my two copies are coming today. Will update soon.
I love your finished page Aoluain! Excellent shading the backdrop is aces.

Excellent! and thank you for compliment.

Has anyone else received their orders?

Last weekend I started colouring my personal copy #25 and started with the first page,
which is in keeping with the theme "Genesis". I finished it yesterday evening and signed
and dated the page. This gives an idea of what your copy could look like finished obviously
in your style.

Anyone read this news?

Nick Kyrgios to be sued by Wimbledon tennis fan after '700 drinks' comment

Quote
Nick Kyrgios is set for more courtroom drama after a Wimbledon fan he accused of having '700 drinks' revealed she is is suing the Australian tennis star.

Polish lawyer Anna Palus released a statement confirming legal action against the 27-year-old for his comments made during the Wimbledon final he lost against Novak Djokovic.

https://www.sportingnews.com/us/tennis/news/nick-kyrgios-be-sued-wimbledon-tennis-fan-after-700-drinks-comment/tedbzrvxafiohbzyz2vqvq6w

For sure even if Nick will win this case, it will take a lot of toll from him and might not perform at peak continue in the US Open. Not sure about the case  if it has merit or not. So we shall see what happens next. When Nick was really doing good lately in the last couple of tournaments, this is going to bite him for sure.

I think the case has merit, the claimant is a lawyer so Nick could very well be in rough waters
with this one.

He has such a big mouth on court and it was only a matter of time before there were more
consequences from all his antics on court. Its one thing being a "showman" on court but
when he starts throwing accusations at people he really needs to consider the possible backlash.

I have warmed to him recently but I dont feel sorry for him regarding this.

so if anyone wanted to argue CSW case about "moving 'bitcoin' to csw address. the solution is simple.. tell CSW to do it on the network he considers his true bitcoin..
He already did that: https://bitcoinassociation.net/bitcoin-association-for-bsv-tulip-trading-ltd-settlement-statement-and-faq/
Not much to be gained from stealing a million coins of a shitcoin which is worth 1/500th of what bitcoin is worth and has no real volume so couldn't be sold to anyone anyway. Which is why he needs to continue attacking real bitcoin.

I read that post, but I was interested in your opinion, considering that they all cited some completely different things as the reasons for their actions without publicly saying that the real reason is what Faketoshi is doing. However, some things are much clearer now, because Faketoshi knows exactly where to direct his attacks and they obviously bring results - only one more question remains, is he doing it alone or does he have some very powerful allies operating from the shadows?
I'm not 100% sure, but even if you think CSW has had no impact on any developers yet, it is easy to see how one or more developers could decide to protect themselves from his litigation by either reactively or preemptively cease their involvement with bitcoin. It is clear CSW is being bankrolled by Calvin Ayre, and therefore has the whole CoinGeek entity and its employees doing his bidding and repeating/publishing what they are told to.

TBH thats worrying, people generally speaking should be more worried about this
scenario rather than any of the other array of Bitcoin worries which seem to be discussed on
the forum.

Couldnt the Dev's quit working on the network and just start working on it "anonymously" ?

Really veering off topic now but in the case of Cobra, how do you file a legal notice on someone
who's identity is not known? how do you enforce it if that person ignores it?

2326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: August 23, 2022, 10:01:27 AM
Thats a massive jump up the rankings by Coric, top 30 player now so he should start
climbing further if he can keep his current form, he had some really great winning
shots in that match, and yes the U.S Grand Slam should be very interesting for him and
hopefully we can make some Satoshi's in the early stages with him.

Yes, although I'm a big fan of Tsitsipas, seems that he is really broken up mentally in that game. I mean you had a huge lead in the first set, how can he let Coric come back strong and win it? And in the second set it was all Coric, Tsitsipas has no answer and as you have said, great winning shots so he can't be denied.

Will look for him of course in the next Grand Slam, or maybe he could be the dark horse of that tournament if he get to the quarterfinals.

I also used to be a big fan of Tsitsipas but I think he has changed his attitude in the last
2 years or so. He has become one of those players who is walking on the very edges of
the rules in order to compensate for short comings in his abilities so I have kind of gone off him.

Nadal does it too but in a more routine based style, he does it all the time, its just his style,
Tsitsipas does it only when things are going against him.

What I find really interesting about this and similar historical Bitcoin which havent
moved is that the owners are and were able to HODL for so long through the various highs
we have seen, notably the recent $69,000 high.

I like also how a move like this generates a lot of speculation, I wonder if the owner is on the
forum looking at this thread?

Who knows what the reason for this move is, it could be any number of reasons.

Absolutely, there is no time limit Within reason I could see this project
taking 12 months but I cant see anyone taking anymore than a month to complete their
page and despatching to the next person.

I thought it would be nice to post your work when you were done but I can also see the
merit of everyone waiting until the end too, I will leave it up to everyone to choose what they
want to do but you can only share your own work is a good rule too.

@owlcatz - artist in the family eh? sounds exciting !

I have been in touch with doblezero and I will be posting the book tomorrow!

NRL Telstra Championship Australia

Big match in round 23 on tomorrow, Rabbitohs v Panthers and amazingly for the first time
I think this year Panthers are underdogs cats!

I have a 0.1mBTC bet on them @ 2.40.

I've gone with the Eels over the Bulldogs and
Storm over the Broncos for this round.

I'm 4 from 4, I took the Cowboys last weekend too!

I also have the Panthers to win outright and I agree that it could also be the Sharks to take
the title this year.

Round 24 final round before the finals and the Broncos face the Eels, if they
play like last weekend they could miss out on 8th spot. The Raiders play the Sea Eagles
so they should be rightly up for that and hoping the Eels do them a favour.
2333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: August 22, 2022, 08:40:07 AM
Brilliant from Coric, In his first service game of the first set he got broken, he couldnt hit
a winner ans Tsitsipas was exceptional, it looked like he was reading Coric's play but
Coric came back into it and blasted his way through the tie break. I went to bed after
that and hoped he could win the second too.

Cant believe he did so easily 2-6.

Did anyone have Coric to win in any way?
2334  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [IDEA] 🌍🌎🌏 Community group participation - Bitcoin Colouring Book - FULL on: August 22, 2022, 06:35:52 AM
@doblezero - I think so
@Cryptogreatdane @xSlyy - very commendable of you to give up you spot or half a page
@MoparMiningLLC - eh yea its a colouring project 😁

Markzellers
xSlyy
Cryptogreatdane
owlcatz
doblezero

minerjones
giammangiato
MoparMiningLLC
ZipReg
Timelord

Timelord
Remsjack

Simple solution is for me to give up my spot and that's whats happening.

Ok so this is how I see it happening:

1. One page for everyone except Timelord2067 as he would like two of his mates to
colour a page each, and he bought 2 books which I guess are for those mates, I'm ok with that.[/i][/sup]

2. As mentioned above its freestyle so you can colour a printed page how you like, pencil,
pen, marker*, paint, pastel**, airbrush if you have the skill or collage, but I would
like if the blank pages are kept blank. Everyones ability is different, I think we all understand that,
so no worries about what you can or cannot do, it has to be enjoyable.

3. You can pick whatever page is available, obviously except person #12 on the list, but those
people who are the last positions on the list get to see in the flesh all of the other work!

4. We have 3 continents involved, Europe, Australia and America, I guess we send the book East,
there is no point sending it to Australia to come back to Europe then on to America and back again
to Europe, So I think we keep it as fluid as this:

I know doblezero is in Europe so I will lost the book there, when he/she is finished they post their
work in the thread and the next European puts their hand up and doblezero posts to them. what do you all think?
I have made a list predetermining the journey of the book.

5. Once the book is posted initially by myself, I wont see it again. At the end the person in 12th spot
holds onto the book until the winner of the raffle/auction is decided.

6. Raffle or Auction? a free raffle for the BCT community or an Auction to be split 11 ways for all the Artists?
or charity as mentioned earlier on?

* using felt tip markers with result in a lot of bleeding I'm suspecting and may not be handy in finer details

** pastels, chalk or wax, will need fixing when complete.

So here are the list of ARTISTS who will work on the #50 Community Bitcoin Colouring Book.

Today I started colouring my own personal copy #25, starting with the first page, here
is another taster of one of the pages coloured. Unfortunately I couldnt get it finished
for this post.

It will be very interesting to see the different styles and approaches to colouring each page.

I will work out the finer details and edit the OP so they are on page 1 of the thread.

@o_e_l_e_o @Franky1 - hmmm I see

but the case may not be directly about proving CSW is or isnt Satoshi
but the way I see it is that it could very well come down to that. If CSW issued a legal notice and
filed a complaint about Hodlonaut it wasnt because he was called a toilet scrubber.

Being called a toilet scrubber would be easy to prove was wrong, being called a fake would also
have to be proven incorrect.

* assuming this was the basis behind Hodlonaut's tweets

While one party might look to stay away from the whole Satoshi topic, the other will be looking
to steer the proceedings towards that very issue. IDK thats how I see it, maybe its wishful
thinking on my part.

Donation made!

This is indeed a another defense of Bitcoin and everyone who calls out CSW as a fake because
he is libel to come after all of us.

See I dont get it, actually none of us gets it, how is CSW still doing what he is doing?

He is calling out Hodlonaut for essentially stating he is a fake. So in court CSW has AGAIN
to try and prove he IS Satoshi. He hasnt been able to before and according to the
Peter McCormack case he wasnt able to there either, Lets hope he gets his ass handed
to him again!

Quote
U.K. High Court Judge Martin Chamberlain ruled that McCormack’s comments caused “serious harm”
to the reputation of Wright,

but also that Wright “advanced a deliberately false case and put forward deliberately false evidence.” As a result,
Wright was entitled to recover only nominal damages of 1 British pound (about $1.23).

2340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: August 21, 2022, 11:15:49 AM

Coric playing very well. For the odds, I feel its worth taking a shot at him. Medvedev vs Tsitsipas, for the odds and it being a 3 setter. I don't see great value betting on Medvedev as they are almost equally talented. Medvedev is just a bit more consistent and mental fitness.
The odds will have variation based on the first set winning. For now the match is gonna start in another 30 minutes and it is good to go on live betting after the first set. On the head to head stats, Medvedev have won 7 times and Tsitsipas have won 2 times. Last time both have met at this year's Australian Open in which Medvedev have marked his win by the fourth set.
As suspected, both my picks worked out. I was just objectively picking the one that seemed value. Both "upsets" by the sportsbook makers but they surprisingly didn't consider recent form to be of much value, I suppose.

VERY WELL DONE!!

while your 2 bets came through, the favourites lost. Amazing. This is a very unexpected
final. It will be hard to call a winner IMO, Tsitsipas the obvious favourite.
