So you want to take his coin away from him because he is now working on a "2nd gen crypto"? From all the Frozen posts out there it looks like he put a lot of work into his coin. I don't think he is a scammer. Just maybe trying something different. I don't think those 2ng gen coins will take off.

Works on Windows 7 x64 soloing. However, it does generate a c++ error upon connecting my miner. Coins are still mined even after the error so its not that big a deal.

Seeing as all of this is still Satoshi's code, he did after all write all of it. The morons out there can barely copy/paste. So why would you take that from him? Its satoshis for all the coins.

GPUs are hard to get in China. They, along with other countries in a similar boat will be the CPU coin capitals of the crypto world. So, why not mine Chinese cpu coins.
CDNcoin is new, worthless and is being mined now so this is a gamble, if your into that sort of thing.
2CHCoin from Russia is new, again worthless, same as above.
Datacoin is about the easiest to mine CPU coin that has good value. I would go with this over Quark anyday.
Frozen has some value at the moment. It is a quark clone with zero premine and a good dev behind it. It seems like a community is growing around it.
XPM is the flagship imo. If you have hundreds of cpu cores then this is the one you want. Otherwise its really hard to get some.
Protoshares is another awesome cpu coin. I think its the most heavily mined CPU coin of all time. There are rumors that a GPU miner exists and a huge farm is using it exclusively. It would kinda suck if that were true and that information got out. It could drive the price down.
The recent quark clones, well I see them dying as they look like pump and dumps. I could be wrong. Maybe some will survive. From memory the list is Molecule, Atom, Proton, Particle, Dime, Seconds there could be one or two I missed. So many coins..

because it is true  I have been saying it to people for ages that the time will come when other countries will start to create their own alt-coins..which is the case now which will have huge potential. Yes!! and if you are too prejudice to mine a coin from another country because its a shitcoin or a shitcountry well then you are just throwing money away. |

The coin is more active than most new coins so I will continue to mine this one. Difficulty 8.99 with 5000 workers on the pool.

With 3Gh on the network after only 14 hours I think it will be on the Chinese exchanges in no time.

It won't get added to any exchanges, since the lawyers said they would take legal actions upon any exchange that used it...
If the exchange operators are smart they will add it and then tell the media they are ready for a fight. |

It was fine. Much better than most and it went according to plan.
The reason for so many pools was to give people options when the pool they were mining on was ddosed. If you were smart you would have setup different batch files for a few different pools making switching quick and easy.
I got the client working almost immediately, it was fine everything worked. The difficulty was low at the beginning, but we like that, we like to see blocks fly by. Lots of orphans.. I did not find a single block soloing. I did expect that with all the hype. So I switched to a pool around and hour after launch when the difficulty hit 16. I have about 700,000 Coinye now with 10Mh. I think I'll keep mining this. I suspect the price will go up sharply as people want to get their hands on these coins.

Pools suck, hashed all night on bitember only to find everyone jumped ship cuz the pool was stuck or something. Got no coins all night. I wish it would go back to taking like a week for a pool to come up. Solo mining til then was way more stable than a million pools right at launch, all of which fail at some point.
Yeah. I'm with you on the solo mining part. I don't think that will be the case anymore for any coin. Once the source is released we get 10 pools in 10 minutes. |

this one is actually going somewhere So you want my bitcoins for promises? lol.. in the real world we make legal contracts and show our real names, addresses, etc. That way I can sue you when you scam me, or simply take matters into my own hands. No thanks. I'll just mine POW coins. Thats why most of us are here anyways. |

If the coin is successful and the only thing stopping it from getting on and exchange is the name. Well then, just change the name. Even slightly so that its not infringement anymore. With the FishKonye image and the Coinye name isn't his anyway. We may already be okay.
