Hi,
I can help you out if you still need this deal done.
What currency would you like the paypal transfer in?
Thanks.

Think I got my calculations wrong before. Its pulling approximately 465w at the wall at 450M. After factoring in the efficiency of the EVGA 850 P2 is using 437w. Very nice indeed

Ok can I mine without (ASIC) and earn good cash mining.
Not with Bitcoin. GPU mining an alt-coin as already said.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'm not necessarily looking for a GPU rig but more some sort of frame work to house a small watercooling setup for a couple of gekko USB miners (I know it's overkill but it would be a fun project).
I was hoping to pick someone's brains about materials to use where's a good place to buy them (in the UK) etc etc.

You can mine by yourself using Ck solo pool (check the pools section) you will get the whole block minus 1%fee. But it's extremely unlikely you will get one.
You can set up your own pool but that's a lot more involved as you need a blockchain node to run it.

Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC). Basically a chip that does one job. Most people use Antminers (by Bitmain) as they are the only ones in the business really. You want something in the Terrahash range of processing power. Anything smaller and it's not worth it. Look on eBay and you will find them or the marketplace on the forum.
You don't need to pay for mining on a Pool although pools take a fee from every block found to support running costs.
Google and YouTube are your friends. There's too much to explain.

You need free electricity and the best ASIC you can afford plus a power supply (ATX usually) of suitable rating to run the ASIC. Then set it up to run on a pool (see the pool section of the forum) and then leave it running. You'll need a BTC wallet for your earnings.

I can do this for you if you are still in need. Check my feedback and see that PayPal is the only method I use

So this is just for the fun of it and because it's possible?

Looks good. Ill keep the questions about it in that thread to save confusing things here

|

Can you elaborate on what it is you do with it? you mine bitcoins with it?

Ive got an S7LN that was hacked by sidehack for better efficiency and a couple of gecko usb miners on a raspi. I don't make any money at all. Barely break even, but its a hobby and aslong as it doesn't lose too much every month ill keep them on. If I find a block for the pool im on I think that will be the time I stop mining. The last "tick box" of the hobby I suppose.

This should be in the "Marketplace" section of the forum Good luck finding a buyer, I can't even get rid of a half dead S3+

Finally offer is $27 worth of BTC for $30 PayPal. Any takers?
|

I've got $30 PayPal (gift, f&f) and would like $28 worth of BTC. Trusted members only.
Before anyone says about PayPal being reversible I know and if you look at my feedback you can see I've done lots of trades before.
Thanks.
