I havent got anything else apart from the standard stuff thats on claymores thread.

TDP- 60%
Temp Limit-75c
Core Clock- +150
Memory Clock- +775
Fans- Auto (range from 25-35% speed)
Temps- 55c & 63c

Getting 23.05Mh ETH only.
1402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Could not getting same speed with all cards on: June 30, 2017, 04:54:18 AM
What settings are you already using? Sounds like stock settings with one card having Micron or Samsung memory and the other three have Hynix (15Mh).
1403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What memory do GTX1060's have? on: June 29, 2017, 09:34:17 PM
Thanks guys. Trying to get some more cards but its tougher than i thought and dont want to buy hynix ones if i do fonally manage to get my hands on some.
1404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What memory do GTX1060's have? on: June 29, 2017, 09:12:05 PM

Someone with that knowledge probably wont post it on a public forum. Thats quite a list and a very specific request.

That said, I can confirm that EVGA mini cards have samsung, if that helps.

Those the single fan ITX ones?
1405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What memory do GTX1060's have? on: June 29, 2017, 08:54:44 PM
Ive done all the research i can but still no wiser. I'll start emailing manufacturers and asking them. Just hoping members on here have had experience and can confirm which has which.
1406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / What memory do GTX1060's have? on: June 29, 2017, 07:36:27 PM
Im after some help regarding finding out what kind of memory certain 1060 cards have before i buy them as i would prefer not to have the dreaded hynix memory.

So can anyone tell me what memory the following cards have please?

MSI GTX1060 OCV1

Gigabyte GTX1060 WF2 (GV-N1060WF2OC-6GD)

Gigabyte GTX1060 G1 Gaming (GV-N1060G1 Gaming-6GD V2)

PNY GTX1060 OC Gaming 6GB

MSI GTX1060 Armor 6G OC

MSI GTX1060 Gaming X 6G

If anyone has any personal experience woth these cards about hashrate with ETH please comment.

Thanks.

Alright thanks for the clarification. So memory amount is only important because of the DAG file? As I'm sure you can tell im very new to mining. Any idea what I should do with my core clock though, clock it up or just leave it at default?

Core clock is nothing to worry about until you up the memory clock and start to get problems. I raised my memory clock to +600 and needed to raise the core clock to +100 to compensate for fluctuations.

Download GPUz and fond out what memory you have. If its hynix then you wont be able to OC much, micron is better but samsung is best.
1408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Do you have to swich to gen1 in bios for risers? on: June 29, 2017, 12:34:27 PM
Ok so when i get more cards and use risers ive basically got to try it and see what happens lol. Currently using the two PCIe3 16x slots but have three PCIe3 x1 slots i can use aswell.

All settings are set to auto so i suppose ill give it ago when i finally get more gpus. Just thought i would ask to see if there was a definitive answer   Smiley
1409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Do you have to swich to gen1 in bios for risers? on: June 29, 2017, 11:58:15 AM
Looking to switch to using risers for my little hobby rig. Currently two cards in the mobo pcie slots. Bios settings are auto, would i need to switch to gen1 settings in the bios if i wanted to use other cards in in the regular/smaller pci slots?

Mobo is Asrock Z270 Pro4.

Cheers.
1410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MSI Afterburner -- how to restore GPU overclock settings after a reboot? on: June 29, 2017, 08:03:16 AM
You can save 5 profiles which you can lock in with the padlock symbol. Also there is an option on the main screen to "apply settings on restart".
1411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Owners of GTX 1060, what is your hashrate? on: June 29, 2017, 08:02:19 AM
Single fan cards tend to run hotter and have more fan noise (depending on your ambient temp) my two asus 1060's run 62 and 55c with 31 and 26 fan speed respectively. At 600+ memory clock, 60% power limit, +150 core clock. They are directly on the mobo so the hotter card is behind the second, hence the temp difference. Should be getting risers soon.

Ive got asus gtx1060 dual 6g OC Edition and getting 21.5mh each. They have the Micron memory. The zotacs arent great from things ive read on here.
1413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Does having GPU into monitor too slow down mining? on: June 27, 2017, 09:58:46 PM
Havent manage to figure out how to switch to the onboard graphics and make it primary. Any tips? Using Asrock Z270 Pro4 mobo.

Usually a setting somewhere in UEFI.

Thats what i thought. Cant for the life of me find it though.

EDIT: found it after switching to the advanced view and going to the advanced tab  Roll Eyes
1414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Does having GPU into monitor too slow down mining? on: June 27, 2017, 09:33:27 PM
Removing the monitor cable from the card does nothing, you want to use another GPU (like onboard) as your primary GPU if you want the maximum performance from the mining card. In that case plugging a monitor into the mining card does nothing - no picture as it's not the primary monitor.

But the difference is negligible.

1415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Owners of GTX 1060, what is your hashrate? on: June 26, 2017, 07:42:48 PM

Try using GPUz and see what memory you have, if its Samsung you could push the memory overclock higher. I would test with zero overclock on the Core and see how high I could push the memory speed and keep it stable, then once its stable with the memory overclock, try pulling back on the power target. Try using MSI Afterburner.

Thanks Biffa, i was reading up about using MSI Afterburner but wasnt sure if it was compatible (im a novice). I was pleased i got it set up and mining at all  Cheesy

Ill install GPUz and see what it says and post back.

Im now running two cards and they are both micron memory. Still using gpu tweak2 and cant figure out how to switch what card im doing the settings on.

EDIT: uninstalled GPU TWEAK 2, installed MSI Afterburner and problem solved. I can now adjust cards individually or lock them together  Grin. Also i dodnt see anywhere in my motherboard UEFI about enabling 4G. Do i need to do that? Mobo is Asrock Z270 Pro4.

1417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GTX 1060 Dual Mining Hashrate on: June 26, 2017, 08:13:17 AM
Hi, anyone has tried with Dual mining ETH-DCR?, it could be interesting to know the hashrate of the most profitable pair of cryptocoins (almost all the time).

23.5 eth
230 - 240 dcr

gtx 1060 asus oc 6gb

What settings did you use to get 23.5 eth? Are you using the GPU Tweak2 with it?
1418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Owners of GTX 1060, what is your hashrate? on: June 25, 2017, 04:39:11 PM
Just started a little ETH hobby mine of a couple of ASUS dual gtx1060-06gb (oc) and set up my little rig with the first card. Ive taken a screen shot and wondered if the settings were ok. Would any of uou guys have suggestions to get more out of it?

Thanks

Waiting for a reply to my PM at the moment.
