2381  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A Newbie Needs some help :D on: January 22, 2022, 02:38:47 PM
It would be good for you if you're gonna ask specifically on how you're gonna make profits in trading, not asking in general on how to make profits, because just like what the majority said, you're just inviting people who are gonna teach you to "make" profits in ponzi scheme or you're just gonna get scam instead because you're too desperate to make profits using someone's help.
2382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the most important features of an online crypto casino? on: January 22, 2022, 01:41:32 PM
Like for example, Curacao license? Does it mean it's worthy to trust new casinos given they have a Curacao license?

Or regardless of the license provider, as long as they are active in the community answering queries, we can take a shot using these sites?

Hard to choose what new sites to trust. They really have to be like all those listed on the poll.
It varies I think? Some Curacao license holders are pretty well trusted afaik. And that comes second to being active in answering queries really, since well with them answering queries, for example, queries about the license, then the problem could easily be resolved no? Besides, we gotta compromise some parts at times, especially if it was only the outer appearance that looks bad, but the quality and experience a user could get are pretty good. It's pretty subjective most of the time imo once a certain criteria is met by a casino.

I agree.

Having a license in gambling industry is a +1 that you should trust them, because it's easy to manipulate people by pretending that a certain gambling site is legit by doing a great customer service and providing a good bonuses for players as well as accurate withdrawals. But, of course still, many will choose the one with license because that's more reassuring than to those who do not have.
2383  Economy / Gambling / Re: List Of Crypto Casinos with The Best Faucets on: January 22, 2022, 12:45:21 PM
These free faucets are my entertainment way back when I'm still interested in gambling. Sometimes, these free money could be double up or triple up when you know how to make profits using small amount of money. It's okay either you lose it or not because you'll get another free money when you wallet account balance is zero.

Free faucets are good if you're planning to engage the world of gambling, it's like a demo account.
2384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: On which esports you place bets on: January 22, 2022, 11:26:24 AM
My friend used to bet on CS:GO and DOTA 2 as well. I've tried betting on DOTA 2 once and never tried it again. I mostly bet on sports betting because I find it more thrilling and fun since I'm not the gamer type. You might want to try Rainbow Six Siege and Overwatch, they belong to top games in esports too.
2385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the most important features of an online crypto casino? on: January 22, 2022, 10:37:26 AM
For me, these are the most important features of an online crypto casino:

1. Security
- of course when you are a gambler that has a lot of funds in your account, you need a gambling site that can assure you that your funds is safe and sound.

2. Responsiveness to complaints
- this would be my top in the list, because this is the most important. It's very annoying when you're winning that much but suddenly you've encountered an error or can't withdraw your funds for some reason yet the customer service is not even replying to your complaints.

3. Software and Games
- appearance is very important, and the comfort while playing the game as well. It's fun to play very nice games with awesome graphics and smooth to play.

4. Variety of cryptocurrency
- the more they have, the more it is fun to use because you have a lot of option on what you're gonna use in gambling.

5. Withdrawal limit
- if they don't require KYC, it is good if they have a good amount of withdrawal limit per day.
2386  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Getting Used to The Market Situation is The Key to Becoming a Reliable Trader. on: January 21, 2022, 02:44:19 PM
Getting used to the market situation is not enough to get a successful trade, because "fake outs" always exist in charts, you thought it was going to dump, but it didn't. In order to make a profitable trade, a lot of things should be right, first is of course your technical analysis, that's your biggest money in trading. Second would be the stop loss and take profit, without it your greediness would take over and will take away all of your money in no time.
2387  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you have any favorite superstititions when trading crypto on: January 21, 2022, 01:39:01 PM
Do you have any favorite superstitions when trading crypto
like for example if you get off the bed on the right side of the bed, your coins won't dump
wearing this color shirt keeps your portfolio in the green

No offense but beliefs are nonsense, there's no solid evidences that they actually work. I believe in coincidence, but not in beliefs.
Because look, the market or the developer of a certain coin doesn't even know you, or what beliefs you do believe, meaning, the market movement entirely depends on the supply and demand, news, and whales, coins doesn't believe beliefs, just pure economic stuff.
2388  Economy / Gambling / Re: Have you played at 8Bet.io? Please share experience on: January 21, 2022, 12:47:17 PM
I've played slots there a couple of times. In my opinion, everything is fine. They have free spins available every two weeks and a free lottery ticket every few to several hours. Both free options are available even to non-deposit users. I've been browsing their ANN thread for several months now and haven't seen any negative reviews.

I've read several posts that they indeed have free spins that a new user could utilize to their own advantage if they would just use it and adhere to the requirements set by the casinos. Only that, some people fail to read their terms and conditions and mostly really hope that they would be able to withdraw without wagering anything. In this case, they couldn't withdraw their winning prizes because there's a specific qualifications to be underwent such as what I've mentioned which is wagering and undergoing verification process such as KYC. Because of course, gambling is still a business and they also need to profit out of it, hence the conditions set.

Check the gambling discussion section and scams and accusations board to check about the reviews of 8Bet. Check whether they have nice or bad reviews and if there is any conflict and concern raised, check whether how they handled the problem and what resolution has been made. Because in the future, that is very important as incidences such as error and complaints about the service could be stumbled upon by anyone.
2389  Economy / Gambling / Re: What are the best ways to choose a casino on: January 21, 2022, 12:16:48 PM
Hello am new here and am interested in gambling but with the rate of scams casino I am finding it difficult to know the right site that don't scam players?

First, this shouldnt be on this board and should be on Gambling discussion.

Next, in regards with the topic then i do understand your point and hesitancies but looking in this board alone would really
solve out your queries or questions in mind.

Best way on choosing?
1. Reputation
2. Fairness
3. Good support
4. Instant withdrawal
5. Good/Decent promotions.

In overall, just looking with popularity and reputation will include all of those aspects.

I definitely agree with everything that you have listed. It's really of importance to set a list of characteristics of what you want in a gambling casino before actually entering and deciding to make it as your go-to. Researching and background checking about them would certainly help you in making decisions. The moment you researched would be the moment you should check about the reviews about them. The reputation, products and service, processing and transaction time, fees, and conflict resolution and customer service should be considered when you want to pick the best casino for you to play everytime. You can check all of these by proper researching and not only relying on one source of information, but in many to assure it is not biased and altered. You can also check the reviews here in forum that could help you out if there are casinos you are already eyeing for. Just check the gambling discussion section as most posts about it are located there.

It's really important for the employees to be professional as this would reflect to the reputation of a company. No matter how good the services and products of the companies are, if the people working for them have such bad attitude and behaviour, this would negatively affect the viewpoint of the clients when it comes to the services being provided. The duckdice should have trained well their customer service representative on how to handle certain problems and issues and how to fix and resolve it without really making the customer feel bad, harassed, invalidated, or bypassed.

Regarding the incident, it's really much better to store and gather many evidences as you can to serve as proof the moment you escalate your problems to the higher ups. Make sure to take screenshots of the conversation, activities, and the likes to back up your claims. Because there were times that tables turn because of unsupported claims from clients. As for duckdice, let your customer be heard. Practice professionalism and avoid being aloof with problem resolution until someone post you. Integrity and reputation is of very importance in gambling industry.
2391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Thurman vs Barrios - Feb 5 on: January 21, 2022, 10:55:37 AM
His last fight is against Pacquiao and he lost, this time, I think he can win since Barrios has already passed his prime. I'm hoping that this is a big preparation fight for Thurman vs Crawford because we already have Ugas vs Spence Jr.

Great news for the boxing community.

I think Thurman would win in this fight too because he has an age advantage over Barrios which could be his edge over their upcoming fight. The fight is just a few weeks from now and he could definitely bag the title and belt if and only if he really trained well and he tried to learn the ways of Barrios in fighting such as predicting his opponent's next move strike of punch, defense, footwork, and speed. Although I would not like to discredit and invalidate the skills of a professional who is known to be in boxing for a long time already considering his age. Surely this would still be a challenge for Thurman before he will be able to achieve his goal - to win. Hopefully, they would give us an exciting and thrilling performance inside the arena. The announced date is on February 5, so for those fans of both players, be ready to witness their battle and may the best boxer really win.
2392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Based Betting community on: January 20, 2022, 11:40:36 AM
I don't know if this is allowed but want to introduce you guys a great place for bettors. Especially for esports bettors there's no much places for esport bettors to hang out& talk about games

This community is one of the oldest and largest esports community. There's sports section too but its mostly esports based

You can join the discord channel from the twitter bio: https://twitter.com/SEsportsBetting

I've clicked the link and it says there's no any results fetched. I think the account was took down. I don't know for what reason though. But typically, this kinds of so called 'community' are just nothing useful because it don't really contain the knowledge and information you are looking for for an account to be followed or a channel to join for. Mostly, this recruitment is mainly to just gain followers and to gain members of the community to make their reach and audience wide without really offering something beneficial in return. The discord channel is not really helpful. If you would check it, it contains no related necessary information about esports betting that a genuine discord channel should have if it weren't only looking for members for the sake of being active. You can do more than that, mate. If you really want to promote your own account and is still planning  to make a community for esports, then you should make a wise content. A content that is full of factual information that could help newbies and the players who are already into esport.

As New York legalizes sports betting, insiders wager on deluge of betting

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/new-york-fanduel-sports-betting-wagers-sportsbook/

New york has decriminalized prostitution and gambling in an attempt to entice residents to remain in state.

Rather than moving to florida or texas as has become increasingly common of late.

New York being a high taxation environment will likely make its native apps and gambling books less competitive than establishments in other states and countries with lower tax laws. That's what I would expect. But it is also possible new york's gambling industry could operate at a loss to be more competitive. We'll have to wait and see how things go.

People in most parts of US are really liberated. Hence, prostitution has becoming a normal hustle and work to do. I guess New York is making their very best to convince their citizens stay by providing these band aid solutions that won't really address the problem for the long term which people are hoping for them to do. New York has such a high cost living compared to its neighboring states and with that, it's not really surprising that their citizens has been moving out and are planning to move out. Their taxation of the things that are necessary are extremely high too. Given that it's really hard to make and earn money nowadays, people would really just prefer to find and look for alternatives that could cost them less and budget-friendly to help them get by.

If New York would only provide prostitution and paving way to gambling as their way to retain their citizens, they would definitely lost it. Protitution's target market is mainly men. It isn't a necessity and therefore when times go rough, surely their regulars who had a hard time will not really prioritize it unless they have addiction problems. In terms of gambling, sure, gambling is nice. It is entertaining and you could get money from it whenever you win, but let's remember that not everyone is into gambling. There are only a specific target market where a gambling business can thrive and be successful. Because of course, its reach is not for everyone. It is not advisable for minors and mainly for adults alone. And during this pandemic, most people would really just buy something to eat and feed their households instead of gambling. New York has indeed bright lights that could blind someone and make them lose their minds.
2394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sweet Bonanza: The #1 Pragmatic Play Slots, What's Your Opinion? on: January 20, 2022, 10:31:28 AM
I haven't really heard about this before and therefore haven't had the opportunity of playing it. But it seems like a newbie-friendly game that could really entertain and perhaps give you little wins by playing based on what I've read. I think what makes Sweet Bonanza a highly played game is its visuals and it's level of difficulty to play. It gives me the same vibe with the ever famous candy crush visuals which is mainly about sweets and successfully pairing and crushing them eventually.

The said game, candy crush has been downloaded billion times already and was even declared the most downloaded game back then because it's fun and enjoyable to play with and it's really easy to play. Highly addictive as well because you'll keep on chasing to accomplish the levels as time goes by. I guess this is where the Sweet Bonanza got the idea from, hence, making the almost same concept with candy crush. And viola! They weren't wrong for doing so because it garnered many players and deposit bets. This is good for the beginners. They could use it as their starting point in their gambling journey and eventually moving to the next levels of gameplays the moment they have practiced on easy and eye-catching games.
2395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling elementary tools on: January 20, 2022, 10:01:02 AM
Havant has been around this gambling scene for a while I have constantly been confronted with this simple question from newbies in gambling, and this question is simply put to me, what are the fundamental skills that a newbie without experience should start with. The first step and a guide to a newbie.

If someone really want to enter the gambling industry for various reasons such as entertainment and to generate money, it is necessary to be equipped with proper knowledge and skills beforehand. For those planning to risk into gambling, there are certain things you have to know to avoid losses and regrets. For those newbies that didn't really plan ahead of time before entering, it's not yet too late to organize and strategize.

The list of things that I will be mentioning are based on my observation and research that people need in order to have a successful and manageable to smooth sailing gambling journey.

1. Invest in yourself first.
Equip yourself with proper knowledge and skills needed before entering gambling. You must know the basics and fundamentals in gambling. The strategies, logical and critical thinking skills, mathematical skills, and analyzation are needed. The simple rules, etiquettes, and the likes could get you somewhere far if you are practicing it. You should know how to do your own research to avoid scam sites or casinos. Learn how to distinguish the differences of websites and sportsbook and from there, slowly choose and pick the ones that suit your preferences.

2. Narrow down your choices and pick the best one according to your liking.
The moment you are already equipped with knowledge and skills, it's time to narrow down your choices by assessing yourself what path you want to take. Ask yourself if what kind of gambling you are into. There are several types of gambling such as casinos, esports, and the likes. You should pick and decide what you are going to focus your attention into and then right there, make a list of the websites that you are liking and arrange them from least to greatest. Pick among the list your top websites and make an in depth background checking about them. Compare each one of them. Look for the reviews, interface, game functionality, service of the company, and customer service approachability and resolution. After doing so, pick the best one among your final top list..

3. Set your limits and boundaries.
Self-discipline is a must in the world of gambling. You should set your limits and boundaries to avoid regrets and losses because of impulsiveness and lack of self-control. You should put up a rule for yourself to follow and make sure that you will do it consistently. You should never cross the line the moment you set limits. Otherwise, it could cost you later. You should maintain self-restraint to avoid falling into the pit of addiction. Only gamble what you can only afford to lose. Do not ever gamble the money that is allotted for your necessities. Learn when to stop and when to continue gambling.

I think this three are the top important ones that a newbie should know of. There are still a lot of things that need to be considered and you should know that the moment you do your part which is to research. Because the moment you research, everything will follow. Of course, if and only if done properly. Hopefully, those people who want to start their gambling journey will experience the advantages more than the opposite. Just always remember the fundamentals and you won't lose your way.
2396  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A guide for beginners to learn trading on: January 19, 2022, 01:32:54 PM
Kudos to you OP for making such effort to help other people.

But here's my opinion. Anyone could try to find and study about trading by reading articles, watching tutorials, but the problem will start when they are actually trading. People are good on academics (studying about Trading) until they are on the trading situation, some people are not good in both. You need both, the knowledge and the practical scenario skills on how to apply it correctly for each trade in order to make your day productive.

Now, what would happen if you failed to apply it correctly? the answer would be, it is either you quit and just wasted your time studying trading or continue and finish what you've started.
2397  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are trading platforms useful? on: January 19, 2022, 11:27:10 AM
Recently, my friend asked me to advise him on platforms that would help newbies to the crypto to start trading and not go at a loss.
I have never found a platform that is not risky/loss in trading, even though I use trusted and great local and international platforms.

If you can, suggest to your friend, learn the science of crypto trading first professionally about trading, investment and so on, at least with the knowledge he learns he can avoid losses, any platform is the same, the point is: trading knowledge is needed.

Exactly.

Losing in trading is unavoidable, but learning to prevent losses is available in internet, simply search it on google and you'll find a lot of recommendations, I'd recommend books rather than watching YouTube tutorials, but it still depends on OP preference. But not losing any amount of money just mean you are not even trying.
2398  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When Greed Comes First in Trading, the Result is Bankruptcy on: January 19, 2022, 10:25:43 AM
Greed is very dangerous, Newbie thinks the trading as gambling due to their greed. They think that today they will put 1000$ tomorrow they will get 2000$. They don't even know what the project is about in which they are investing.
The most common mistake of newbies is they buy at high in FOMO and then sell at too low in panic.
This is one big issue many newbies have, instead of setting themselves goals they can actually reach with their limited experience and knowledge they instead set themselves goals that even the best traders around the world will have a problem achieving, so from day one they set themselves for failure, and as long as they do not change their mentality and what they expect from the market then there is little doubt they will accomplish none of their goals.

Since their mentality is to get rich fast then the greedy will control their mindset so they wont satisfied just with small winning. They should set their mindset if they're new they should grateful for not getting lost from trading and dont feel down if they lose money from trading due to lack of experience.

This is definitely the problem.

People want to be rich overnight, they don't want to experience failures, that's why they never grow. So, instead of making profits, they are making regrets every single day by trading with their greed (in a negative way). It's not bad to be greedy, but of course it has to be in a right manner, you have to have a plan in trading, you have to do technical analysis always, there's no short cut on being good.
2399  Economy / Economics / Re: Buy Crypto Or Have Fun Staying Poor! on: January 18, 2022, 03:58:54 PM
Indeed, investing in crypto is a good thing. It has a lot of benefits most especially now that the innovation and technology is fast advancing and the inflation is getting higher and higher each year. It's much better to put your money in someplace you can trust and rely onto. Since the economy of each country is not the same, it's ideal to put your money to where it is safe from being devalued over time. Putting your money in a bank or just holding it by cold cash isn't really a smart move to do. If you have the means, the resources, and the knowledge and skills needed for someone to store your funds in crypto, then do it. Not everyone has the same luxury as you do and you must take advantage of it as long as you can. Not everyone is as privileged so, be thankful and utilize what you have to your own advantage that your future self would thank you for.

If you don't have the means yet to be able to invest and store your funds in crypto, you can try other things first and then later on when you already have the resources needed, you can invest and make crypto as your store of value. Since not everyone is fortunate enough to easily do what they wanna do, you can take it little by little. After all, in crypto there is no discrimination and there would be no judgment no matter what bracket of society you belong to.
2400  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: IS it possible to let your BTC work for you ? on: January 18, 2022, 01:17:03 PM
BTC works for you by increasing it's purchasing power over the years.

If you send your BTC to any company you're taking huge risks for very small gains. You could lose it all eventually.

Think long term, and keep your BTC in your own cold storage. You'll be way better off with less risks.

I agree with this. Risking your bitcoin to be turned over to a third party is a bold move. While it could be beneficial because your bitcoin could profit, it is also risky as it involves trusting another platform to hold and store your bitcoin for you while you are waiting for the interest to grow over time. And I think the interest is not really worth it most especially if things go wrong. That supposedly little profit could be the reason why you could potentially lose your coin. So I'd rather not do it and I'd just patiently wait and hold my bitcoin until the moment of ATH and withdraw some if I need or I'm satisfied already.

While there are platforms that allow you to convert your bitcoin to another coin for you to stake, most of it requires undergoing KYC. Aside from the risk factors, the mandatory verification of identity is asked by most platforms because they are just following the protocols set by the local regulation board committee such as the the local government. If someone would really insist to do it, I suggest to properly do your very own research to avoid falling from scam platforms and really make a profit, not losses.
