1501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is It An Easy Transition From Gamer To Gambler In Casino. on: October 10, 2022, 06:45:00 AM
I always consider gaming as gambling I have seen many gamblers spend a lot of money for their character and to level up their account for future profit, like selling their stuff and their character.

If you're a gamer or someone is a gamer and would like to try to gamble in online casinos will it become an easy transition as all the elements of gambling are present when you're a gamer, or does a gamer have to start all over again, and have a different motivation and mindset?

I would say there is definitely some overlaps in the habits that draw a gamer back and how they might react in a casino setting. However with age comes experience, sometimes a few bitter losses are necessary to fully understand how the odds are stacked against you. A real gamer is generally someone who is inquisitive and loves to constantly learn how to get better, so they should be able to identify that gambling activities are tilted in one way and they are destined to be the loser over the long term. However you can also have totally sensible gamers who are able to make a clear distinction between often spending nothing beyond the price of the game itself, simply getting pleasure from playing and sinking regular amounts into a reoccurring place like a casino wallet.

I agree with this. If you are already a gamer, there will always be a part of you that will manifest the habit and behavior of being a gamer. For an instance, in playing in a casino or gambling website, they will be keen observer and strategist to win the game. Since most gamers are critical thinkers, they might think thoroughly before making a bet and actually playing the game which is good because it minimizes the risks and the probability of losses.

There are gamers that are really flexible and willing to learn. Hence, there are already a lot of people exploring the other side of entertainment which is gambling. Each people have different attitude and behavior and you will encounter almost every different attitude there is in playing. You'll encounter a humble player who is good in playing, and you will encounter those arrogant ones that feel superior to others. They have different set of skills to offer too which they developed over their gaming years. Others aim just to get satisfaction and have a diversion, while others want to make a sideline out of transitioning in gambling on casinos.
1502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My worst day in gambling on: October 10, 2022, 05:03:45 AM
No matter how I get myself into gambling, I know when to stop, if am winning or losing. My experience in gambling made me figure that out. Nothing syphons money more in a twinkle of an eye than gambling. I know how many times, I have lost countless times when gambling.

My experience in gambling has made me come to the fact that a gambler should gamble for fun not gamble with his whole money, to avoid unpalatable stories. Gamble with a minimum amount that you can afford to lose without problems

Good for you because you established your mind at an early age and you know what's right or wrong when it comes to gambling. I, on the other hand didn't have the same mindset like yours when I was young and I had plenty of experience when it comes to going overboard in gambling and the truth is, even my bank is not safe when I'm gambling as I tend to withdraw every time when things is getting out of hand. But fortunately, that experience taught me some lessons in life as I experienced how to have nothing just because of that habit. Now I always keep some safe distance when it comes to gambling as I know that gambling once destroyed my life, so if I'm looking for fun or entertainment, I always have handful of other choices.

It's unfortunate to read that you underwent such situation. Indeed, we have fair shares of mistakes in the past due to being impulsive and lack of enough knowledge about something. Since we experienced it the hard way, we should learn from it to avoid doing the same mistakes again. I'm glad that you were able to acknowledge your shortcomings back then and did something about it to make you a better person today.

Setting limitations is a good thing to take control of your gambling habits. Knowing your boundaries will keep you be at ease because your life won't be ruined by gambling once again since you already established a good distance from it. Knowing when is enough and too much can really matter a lot. If you are in it for entertainment, the more you should make limitations for you to not regret later on. Otherwise, you'll just end up like everyone else who lost their control in their gambling ways that eventually became addicted.
1503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When betting becomes to high on: October 10, 2022, 03:52:38 AM
In my case I do not blame newbies when they make the mistake of thinking they can actually become profitable when they gamble, my problem is that some of those newbies never really learn their lesson, they lose all of their capital and instead of thinking that this is a trend that is going to continue they believe that this was an exception, so the next time they gather some money they gamble once again with the intention of becoming profitable, then at some point they realize all the money they have lost and then they keep gambling hoping to recover it, and by that point there is a very high chance that they are already addicted to gambling.

Right. I think that in gambling (if so a beginner made a mistake - came here for money and not for entertainment), you must first come up with strategies, test them, and only then spend real money trying to put these strategies into practice. Roughly speaking, you need to have some serious reason to assume that you will win. It is naive to think that millions of gamblers are unprofitable, but it is you who will be profitable "for no reason." But beginners continue to play losing their money and turn into addicted gamblers as a result.
While it may not seem to make any sense there is a lot of people that think like that, they believe they are so exceptional that just by virtue of being themselves they do not really need to do anything but make a few bets and earn money when they gamble, I know that for us this sounds ridiculous but many people have that kind of thinking and they apply it everywhere, and example of this was when I was at school and a lot of my peers did not prepare themselves for the upcoming test and yet they thought they will get good grades, and when they did not they made all kind of excuses instead of accepting they simply did not deserved to get a good grade.

This is no news that there are really individuals who think they are extraordinary and superior to others because of the qualities they have. I have encountered so many people that has that kind of attitude and it reflects on their behavior as well. I believe this kind of mentality can really cost them so much. The complacency and arrogances reeks unfortunate scenarios waiting to happen.

Gambling is not about making a bet and automatically you'll win it. It's a matter of chance. And perhaps their several chances that turned out great really made them believe they are exceptional or they have exceptional skills when in fact they don't, and it's just all in their head. This could put their funds at risk and could really disappoint and make them very anxious big time if they won't acknowledge that gambling is a mix of strategies, game approach, and luck.
1504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling, tourism and legal gambling age for gamblers around the world. on: October 08, 2022, 03:28:58 PM
Gamblers mostly like to travel over the world.Because the people who like to do adventure will like the different set of gambling games. The like the trill of playing gambling.Expect few states, most of the States in US allow the casino and gambling. But they make some age limited to 18-21.The minimum age limit to make a equal game among the players. The people who attain of 18 ages will have some analytical knowledge as compared to low age people. Many outsiders can do gambling in Australia with the minimum of 18 years. Some people travel to Australia to enjoy the tourist place and the gambling. The county based on Muslim religion, almost not involved in the gambling as compared to other countries.

Those gamblers who are adventurous will really love to travel and gamble at the same time if they have a spare time. Or to put it much better, these adventurous people really find time and make time just to gamble whenever they visit new places to experience the culture, tradition, and the norms of the spot they are in. I guess this gives them the sense of satisfaction and enjoyment knowing and actually getting to play the usual games and betting of the locals. It's a nice way to make your heart pumping as well and of course, to know new strategies and interact with the people in the community.

Those religious countries such as those largely populated by Muslims aren't really into gambling, that's right. Because they have beliefs and principles to uphold. They are conservative and they follow what's written in their Quran. Hence, you'll seldom see gambling tourist sites in those countries since gambling is a sin according to what they believe in. And we should respect that. There are many places that are liberated and an adventurous gambler would have fun to, such as in Las Vegas, Mexico, Macao, and so on.
1505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Parents And Their Children In Gambling.. on: October 08, 2022, 01:21:19 PM
It is highly insane for a kid to was such a huge sum of the money just a night, this only portrays nothing but a wasteful lifestyle, and even though his dad is a highly influential personality and has a lot of money that doesn't warrant such a wasteful lifestyle a night clubs.

No one is saying the kid does not have the right but is it moral to act that way and what is the value of that lifestyle, I believe the kid's lifestyle is influenced by his dad's way and if you can see, the father spend bigger amount in clubs and gambling too.

It is not ideal to make a gambling with your children because at the very young age they will reflect immediately that this kind of thing is normal and must need to do because they grow up to be part with of it, and also there's a possibility that someone can file a case for the child abuse because they are still under 18 and expose already in gambling but we have different life sometimes some of them already expose still it is ideal if the parents have a proper guidance with their children what are the basic right and wrong and make an explanation to them about this.
Gambling is prohibited for minors in every country, even in countries where gambling and casinos are legal. But these days some casino owners don't take those things seriously. Many of them do not prefer KYC either. As a result, a minor can easily lose valuable assets in gambling due to his inexperience or other reasons. If there is no proper solution soon then children may become dis obedient in future which will never bring benefits to the society and the country. So minors must be kept away from gambling or casinos.

Indeed. It is really illegal for minors to do gambling because they aren't on their legal age yet to decide on their own without the guidance of their parents or guardian. A minor needs proper guidance and help from the elders which is why most decisions in this age bracket still needs permission and consultation from their parents before they can actually be allowed to do it. In gambling, there is no exceptions. If you are a minor, then you shouldn't be betting and playing because most casinos, if not all, have it stated in their terms of service that a person must be 18 and above already before proceeding.

Some casinos even ask for KYC verification just to be sure that the person making an account is a real person and is of legal age already. Although this matter has been the center of a lot of debates here in forum since KYC means giving your personal information and therefore, defeats the purpose of anonymity that initially is fine with most casinos back then. KYC could really help alleviate the rise of percentage of youth gambling illegally, However, kids are also becoming more and more clever these days, so some are still able to bypass the security by making fake IDs or using other people's ID. Which means they should also step up their game and think of other ways how to really detect 18yrs old below gambling using various techniques.

But I still believe that it's also more of the parent's responsibility to discipline their child and the child as well to make the right choices if guided right.
1506  Economy / Economics / Re: Reasons you will remain broke as an adult on: October 08, 2022, 11:21:55 AM
Reckless spending is the top main reason why adults are broke, most of them. Even though they have skills and earning a decent salary, they spend it like a king every single day, that's why there's always nothing left on them after a week. It's a must to know the needs and wants, and always prior the needs of course. Without any financial management, people will always struggle if they are spending more than what they can afford.

However, they have this mindset that "you only live once" to make themselves believe that it's worth buying their wants, yes, but not always. Also, emergency fund is important, which has always neglected by so many.
1507  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you ready to spend crypto when market is down on: October 08, 2022, 07:23:33 AM
Hello Everyone,

I am not speaking about just Bitcoin. I am speaking about every cryptocurrency / token.  Regardless of crypto price fluctuations, many online and offline stores are ready to accept crypto as payment. So How will willing are you to spend crypto for your purchases?

If one doesn't spend their crypto for purchases and wait for to spend their crypto when its price is nice, are they really considering it as a cryptocurrency or can we assume like those people are treating more like a security or investment instrument?

If you don't spend your cryptocurrency in a market situation like this, it is fine, it is still cryptocurrency, I didn't know that not spending it would define cryptocurrency as not a cryptocurrency. Not spending it in a bear market means you have the right knowledge about financial management. I don't see any benefit at all spending it in times like this, so why.

Other people has no other choice maybe but to spend it because they don't have any fiat anymore to buy their needs, and there's nothing wrong with that. However, having 2 or more source of income would be better for you not to spend your valuable cryptocurrency in times like this.
1508  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the perfect time to invest in Bitcoin on: October 07, 2022, 01:55:39 PM
I think for most of the people "it's the right time to doubt Bitcoin" and obviously they will buy when Bitcoin is in its new all time high price again and will complain that why Bitcoin is dumping, then they will trash talk it, so classic. Anyways, this is indeed the right time to buy, if you have the capital to do so, invest it in Bitcoin rather than let it sleep in your bank account for years without gaining anything at all.
1509  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it best to have a personal trading strategy? on: October 07, 2022, 10:18:42 AM
Having a personal strategy to me isn't just the key but the ability to stick to it, is. I have been trading synthetic indices for over 6months and I feel it is better to have a working personal strategy and keeping to it, even at the days and times of loss.

I'm seeking to know if having a personal trading strategy has been able to enhance your trading profitablity and if you really keep to a particular strategy that worked for you even when it seems it's failing you later on and for how long do you stick to this strategy?

For me I'd rather stick to my own personal strategy in trading than to do copy trading in other trading platforms. Yes, copy trading is profitable and you do nothing but copy other's people approach, however, there's no benefit on it aside from making profits, lucky if it's always. What I mean is, personal trading strategy has a lot more room for growth compare to copy trading.

It's okay to failed, no matter how many times it is, you failed because you're trying, and when you're trying it means you could be better, and that's what gonna brings a lot of profit for you in the future, so just keep on grinding.
1510  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade with a business mindset on: October 07, 2022, 09:16:01 AM
That's why learning to control your emotions is the top priority list in trading, even in everything you do in your life. Emotion is very tricky, you can be easily manipulated by your own emotions if you don't know how to control it. There's a monk saying that "mind is power" therefore it should be separated on your body, but not literally, lol.

This means that your mind is the master of all the things you'll do, but you must have the power to command it, not the other way around. For example, a bad trade after hours or days of making a good technical analysis could result to a huge frustration and disappointment, your mind will probably tell you to quit or enter a trade without any plan, that's danger right there.

So if you know how to control it, the right thing you'll do is to rest, plan again, and trade again.
1511  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: no deposit bonuses. on: October 07, 2022, 08:34:50 AM
Hi do you know of any exchanges that offer no deposit bonuses.

I have read that many forex platforms offer no deposit bonuses with the idea of enticing you to start trading.
But I don't know of any cryptocurrency exchanges that offer these no deposit bonuses...does anyone know of any?

I bet you meant exchanges that gives bonuses after you deposit on them. If I'm not mistaken, Binance gives you vouchers in USDT something like that after you deposit a certain amount on them and verified your account, correct me if I'm wrong though. I believe bonuses are the main reason why people want to start trading because of that, it's like an starting extra capital in trading.

Like free satoshis in faucets.
1512  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading indicators on: October 06, 2022, 12:51:29 PM
RSI, EMA, and the basics, like candle patterns and resistance and support area. Those are only the basics and easy to understand indicators that you could use. I stick to that since the beginning because it fits me, I understand it so well. Though, it might be a different thing for you, because it's all about trial and error when it comes to indicators.

I tried to use other indicators way back then but it just confused me so I get back to the old ways.
1513  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If I get heart Attack that is because of BITCOIN on: October 06, 2022, 11:46:52 AM
I believe you need more knowledge about Bitcoin, especially how it works for you to avoid unnecessary panic just because it dumped after you bought some. If it's about getting a heart attack because of excitement, you better consult a professional regarding about your health to get the right medicine to avoid further problems.

Here's my tip. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency is all about demand and supply, so if you bought a lot of Bitcoin, like whales, its price would increase because of the increase in demand, and if you sold a lot of Bitcoin like whales also do, it will decrease the demand but increase the supply resulting to a price drop.
1514  Economy / Gambling / Re: Twitch is going to ban most crypto gambling streamers. Where will Drake go now? on: October 05, 2022, 01:49:12 PM
As far as I know, Twitch won't really ban crypto streamers and rather will ban content streaming that involves slot, roulettes, and dice games which are streaming from unlicensed casino websites to ensure the safety of the community. They also said that they will strictly impose the ban against the referral links and codes which happen to be rampant in Twitch despite it being prohibited in the platform.

Regarding Drake, surely if ever Twitch will ban his account from streaming there, there would be plenty of platforms he can go to such as his own website (if he has any, since almost every popular personality has one) or in YouTube. They can also build discord community or their own streaming community which his followers can transfer to, to show support for their idol. YouTube might probably the fallback of most of the streamers if ever Twitch will ban everyone from streaming gambling (but I believe they won't). However, YouTube is far worse than Twitch IMO, so if ever, it'll just be a temporary haven for them. Twitch has no additional information about their improved terms of service yet, and we'll soon find out if these streamers will remain in Twitch to stream contents from licensed casinos or not.
1515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Parents And Their Children In Gambling.. on: October 05, 2022, 01:01:36 PM
Educating our children who are at their right age about gambling and finances, in general, is really essential. Personally speaking, I would love to bring awareness to my child about the pros and cons of gambling. I have this perception that it's better to teach them those things that might harm them inside our home instead of them finding about it on their own or from their peers or in internet out of curiosity and exploration. Once your son/daughter have the mental capacity to grasp the knowledge and concept about something, it's good to introduce it to them even little by little.

Giving your kids a simple analogy and explanation about what gambling might do to their lives might change the way how they will view and use it the moment they are on the right age to decide on their own. Imparting them the benefits of gambling once done right as well as the repercussions that come along with it if they do it excessively and beyond their limitations will help shape their principles and beliefs. If the foundation of knowledge about doing something is instilled right in their minds, surely, they won't be lost.

I believe right parenting by guiding your child in decision making and instilling the values in them will help them grow maturely. Although it's proven that peer influence and societal standards also play a role. But the two aforementioned external factor won't really impact them much if they have a strong core value founded in them.
1516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My worst day in gambling on: October 05, 2022, 12:25:16 PM

Yes, that's the problem!
In all my life I never imagined that gambling/betting could become something extremely addictive for a person, even something similar like drugs!

Only when I started to bet/gambling I realized this is extremely harmful for the human, if he doesn't have control of himself and especially his impulses, he can have several problems, not only psychological, but financial and with his relationships

It seems to me that every gambler had such a period in his life when he thought about whether he could make money on this, so that it would be the main source of income. But in practice, I quickly dispelled this myth for myself (I'm talking about my experience). Perhaps someone succeeds, because there are successful traders and other complex professions where you can earn a lot of money, but not many can do this, this is just a small percentage of people, everyone else will be the loser...

Most people really had that certain point in their lives wherein they thought that something will be their way out of poverty and road to success, but failed in the process of trying to attain it. Most gamblers and even those people who are merely risk-takers already experienced that kind of scenario. It is hard to undergo such because of course, the time, money, and effort you exerted were just put into waste, but that's the reality in risking into something. Sometimes, the odds don't just side in our favor, and that's a hard pill to swallow, but we have to accept it eventually. Learning from the mistakes that we committed unintentionally because of lack of knowledge is what matters. The moment we experienced the hardships, it will make it easier to address the problems that might arise in the future with shifting perspectives and viewpoint.

There are many professions and side hustles which someone can excel to, I agree with that. We just have to find the one that suits us the best. We still have to be careful to avoid trouble and inconveniences despite having many experiences. Earning money is important, but let's not use this thought just to impulsively do things that might bring harm to us instead of good.
1517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Reputation on: October 05, 2022, 11:50:48 AM
You know, everyone has a secret. A well dressed man or woman might look very responsible until one looks deep only to uncover shady involvements. One's life and livelihood often depend on reputation. Like it is popularly said, a good name is better than riches, so when one has a bad reputation, it affects the flow of income, or better still chases the goddess of luck away.
Gambling is not too bad until it is done in excessive. For one to dress well and be known as a gambler is for the most part degrading, that is if one actually gives a hoots ass about public opinion.
If in or affiliated with a responsible organization, it is quite reasonable to shove aside some known habits like gambling, so as such an organization does not feel exploited or feel it is wasting resources in the person of an employee.
One should therefore guard his/her reputation and also learn to keep a balance as regards spending monies on gambling and other related demeaning habits.

Each people have skeletons in their closet in which they don't want other people to know of because of the reason that it can taint their reputation. We all have that certain bad experience or mistake we don't are not ready to share with anyone because of the judgment that we might get from it. Hence, some people believe that there are specific things better left unsaid so that it won't cause trouble/s.

I agree with what you said that livelihood and the status of someone's life depends on his reputation. Of course, if you have good reputation, most people will like you and opportunities will go your way. Majority of the businesses, employers, and people in general do not want to be involved with someone with bad character and tainted reputation because it can damage them as well. When you feel like the boat will sink, you definitely won't board in it.

Gambling has been painted bad in the mainstream media because most of the time, the consequences of it are highlighted. We can't really blame the people by thinking that way. After all, if you know it to yourself that you are a responsible gambler and do not do the things they think of you, then you don't have to be anxious. You are not obliged to prove yourself..
1518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is It An Easy Transition From Gamer To Gambler In Casino. on: October 05, 2022, 11:17:52 AM

If someone is already a gamer before he enters the gambling world, I believe that it would be much easier for him because he already know the basics of gaming, and therefore he will easily understand the rules and regulations inside the casino or gambling website. The transition will be smoother because he has a knowledge already compared to those other people who don't really have a background to rely on.

Although gambling is different from gaming alone, but you have the grasp of what the gamblers are doing such as using techniques and strategies and of course, knowing that there will be other teams or group of opponents in which you can compete with, in gambling side, it's the house and the other bettors. Perhaps what they will take some time to familiarize are the jargons used by the gamblers, but it'll be easy to remember once they get used to it while learning and playing at the same time.
1519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My worst day in gambling on: October 04, 2022, 02:23:23 PM
Thank you for sharing your experience with us, with your example I see that if the person does not have control of himself, he can lose everything he has.
Luckily I don't have any bad memories about gambling, I've never been one to bet a lot of money, I just gamble just to pass the time and have fun sometimes!

When it comes to betting/gambling, never bet what you can't lose!
This is a very simple concept but unfortunately there are many gamblers out there which are incapable of doing something like this, and the main reason why this is the case is because of their false expectations.

There are many people out there that despite all the evidence that you can find on the Internet actually believe they can become profitable if they gamble for long enough, not understanding that something like this is only true for the house, which has an edge over the player, and the longer and more money a player gambles the more money they will lose.

Gambling isn't an easy way out of poverty. It isn't also a shortcut to become wealthy. Most people have this perception that gambling can be their way to success. It isn't. Gambling has a lot of risks if you want and you are planning for it to become one of your major stream of income. Gambling is a recreational activity that should stimulate relaxation and not stress if you'll only do it right. It can also be your additional source of income if you are good in betting and if you are lucky enough. But I don't really recommend it to be your only way to make money because in gambling, there is no guaranteed winnings. Each time you play against with the house and the odds.

Anyone shouldn't have their hopes up in in playing gambling because it isn't only rainbows and sunshine most especially if you become addicted with it. High expectations could only hurt you. Instead of feeding false positivity, see the reality instead. There are many articles and confessions from true to life experience that gambling could ruin your life if you will let it control you. As much as possible, let's learn from other's mistake and from our past experiences to avoid regretting big time later on.
1520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you change your mind on gambling ? on: October 04, 2022, 01:39:41 PM
You are a core gambler,I mean you have a reserved or particular time that you use in gambling everyday, just the way some of us are,we even add gambling expenses to our monthly budget because we gamble to entertain ourselves.
A new government came into power, and enacted a law that nobody should gamble anymore in the country i.e gambling becomes illegal. Will you just behave yourself and abide to this new law that is depriving you from having fun as a good citizen ? or will you ignore the law and keep on gambling since there are online casinos that you can gamble secretly with your mobile phones with out no one knowinw2g ?

If this were to happen, I don't think breaking the law would be worth it because surely, if the new government decided to ban it already and declare illegal, then definitely they won't go easy on the violators. Surely, those who will break the law will suffer grave punishment and consequences for their actions. If you value your peace of mind and if you treasure your life and your time with your loved ones, then you shouldn't do anything that is not worth the trouble.

Secretly gambling can do you no good the moment you got caught. All of your winnings and the thrill won't be worth it if you will be fined with big amount or be taken in prison. Using VPN can put you at risk too so it is not really a wise move to use one just to avoid the gambling restrictions.
