1381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Must it be the last game? on: November 18, 2022, 02:13:27 PM
Hello fams

just as the title says why must it be the last game to always cut off the winning?
Have been playing sport bet and especially pools, whenever i predicts some matches upto 5, 8, 10 and maximum is 15, while pools is focused on draws maybe i might just select 3 draws or 6 draws it will always happened the last 1 or 2 games to cut off the match, while a maximum of 15 matches the last number 15 is always terminating all my entries.
Is there any way to do away with the last match that always cut the prediction and some you would be given a chances of cashing out but the last always ends the game not to be able to cashout.

Could you explain this please if there's any way we can do away with it lets begin the adjustments.

I guess it just depends on your luck. There are really times you won't win. Sometimes misfortune such as this happens the moment you will place your last bet to call it a day. If you are rooting for the last game to be your big win, just pray hard enough that odds will be favoring your side. Because it's really a matter of chance.

Do not expect something so much from a bet because you'll just end up hurting yourself it won't turn out the way you want it to. Don't chase winnings too because you might end up losing more and more instead of gaining.
1382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you still win with free spins? on: November 18, 2022, 01:38:39 PM
Yes, you could still win with free spins. However, just don't expect a big amount of winning because the odds are still on the house's side and luck still plays a role. And if ever you do win, you'll most likely be obliged to wager a certain amount before you could withdraw your winnings.

The number of free spins will define the probability of you winning and the possible amount you're going to win. Just don't set up too high expectations so that you won't be hurt. Don't rely on the winnings of free spin because it's not something you can make as a living or such.
1383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have Lucky Casino? on: November 17, 2022, 03:38:15 PM
I have never thought of it that way. The difference between the two different casinos can be a restart for your luck now and your attitude with the current happenings in the casino. It will be an excellent way to approach how you can manage your temper and emotions when gambling, but it wouldn't help you control yourself so that you can ignore and stop playing first and recover the money you lost.

The disadvantage would be the part where you are interested in gambling more, and you can lose more by playing with more casinos.

It isn't really because of the casino for me. Although if you believe in such, there's also no harm. Maybe some of us really have that kind of "lucky" places and such. Perhaps we attract some form of charm if we believe in it.

However, I think it's more of your mental state and your determination to win the game. If you are not in the right mental headspace and if the odds are not just on your favor, then expect losses. Winning is a combination of luck and calculated probability after all. Just be mindful of your gambling habits. Still always play responsibly despite winning or losing after several attempts.
1384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling house responisbilty to protect people data on: November 15, 2022, 08:41:00 AM
Ideally, gambling houses should not disclose the identity of the person who won big without first asking him. Unfortunately, this is not respected always.

Those gamblers who do not want their information to be public, but the gambling houses make their names public, can go to the court of law as this is a serious offense. Gamblers can claim damages to the gambling site on this basis. Do you think gamblers should take the help of courts in this case ?
They don't have to ask.

Every gamblers that won big must be protected at all costs and that's by hiding the winner's identity.

If they want to promote their companies through their numbers of winners they must hide their names, if they have to use live video the winner's face must be hidden on camera.

Where I come from someone won big money and friends around told him to buy drinks at a bar near by but he was poisoned on that same day by an unknown person. It shows that people don't like seeing others progress.

This is right.

It is the gambling website or lottery company's responsibility to protect the identity of every winners they'll have in order to ensure their privacy and security. This is done to safeguard the lives of the winner as well as their winning prize because once other people knew the identity of the jackpot winner, they will be vulnerable from all sorts of threat such as robbery and even murder. Their peaceful lives would be at stake too once the public knew their identity. Paparazzi, relatives, friends, and even acquaintance might bother them just to have a portion of their prize.

This is why the gambler's identity must really be protected unless they agreed or they initiated to be publicly announced their identity. It will be the agreement of the both parties with that scenario. After all, consent is always needed in cases such as this that concerns big amount of money and security as well.
1385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Does Gambling/Casino Ads Help An Addicted Gambler Who Wants To Stop Gambling on: November 15, 2022, 06:50:15 AM

And another question is, if you are addicted to gambling and wants to quit but discovers that seeing gambling Ads on the internet is one of the triggers that lures you into gambling again, is it possible for you to stay away from the internet until you are sure you've completely healed from that addiction?

You cannot stop seeing those ads and you cannot stop from being on the internet and not seeing those ads you have no control over that, what you have to control is your urge and your reaction, if the only way to get out of addiction is to be away in the internet then it's your choice when quitting on something it is always on choice and control, if you don't have these two then you're not really that serious and it will only take a three-second ad to get you on your favorite casino.
Being away in the internet these days is just too hard to imagine because internet is already a big part in our lives, but if it’s the only way to heal your gambling addiction, then do it. And maybe delete all your gambling apps in your phone too so that you will not be tempted anymore. If you do it with strong determination with some family support, I think you will succeed from leaving gambling for good.
Without a doubt it is becoming more and more difficult to leave behind any kind of addiction than in the past because now things are way more easy to access, and giving up our phones or computers is not very realistic either as a great deal of our jobs are now done through the use of computers, so addicted gamblers are in deep trouble as the tool they use to access all kind of information online can also be used to access their biggest weakness and they cannot get rid of it matter how hard they may try.

Very much agree.

During this modern times, it's really a necessity now to have an accessible gadget to have your things to do done in short period of time. Cellphones and laptops are needed to function in this day. It's no longer a luxury, but a necessity to have an operational gadget and application you can use to accomplish your tasks whether it is intended for school requirements or work related. Hence, the struggle of those who want to withdraw from their gambling addiction is getting so much harder because of the demands and the current way of living.

If you are an addicted gambler and you want to withdraw, it'll be so hard to just abandon your gadgets and the internet altogether because you have to work in order to earn money. However, the temptations of opening up a gambling website or installing an app is just at the palm of your hands. This is why most gamblers fail to quit because of the easier access we have now.

I think going to therapy and undergoing certain treatment specially made for a gambling addict is one of the best ways to quit gambling with lesser probability of undergoing relapse and repeated cycle of withdrawal and going back. If gamblers will just quit instantly, there's a higher chance he'll just go back because of craving for thrill and enjoyment he's used to. The best approach would be slowly removing it from someone's system without so much restriction and pressure being put into them. That way, they won't crave for it and they'll hardly be affected by the advertisements online.
1386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your opinion on casinos that don't have ANN threads in the forum? on: November 15, 2022, 05:53:26 AM
Some of those casinos already hard a running signature campaigns in the forum but yet doesn't have an active ANN thread or a representative in the forum, so how do players deal with issues from the site, should we contact the campaign managers each time there is a problem from those casinos?
It can become disturbing to keep contacting campaign managers for such issues. I think it is necessary that casino's have ANN threads here so they can get important feedback from here too. Having a casino ANN thread is an indication that our opinions and feedback here are valuable to them, and that gives a good feeling. An active casino ANN thread also will improve reliability people here have for them. Some people who promote campaigns from casino's here can because of a very active ANN thread refer the casinos to friends who are not in this forum , because of the feeling of assurance that an active ANN thread can provide.

Indeed, it's such a hassle to contact directly the campaign managers for conflicts that will arise, most especially if the conflict is just a minor issue. It's a hassle on your part and on their end as well because they'll have to accommodate each person who will message them because there's no specific avenue for the players to reach out to. Hence, having an ANN thread will be beneficial on both players and managers because they can easily interact without invading the privacy of each other.

In addition, the members can also help their fellow members if ever they already encountered that kind of problem before. The members can also put up some insights and lay other perspectives in which the OP could seek to enlightened his mind. So, yes, it's much better to have an active ANN thread while it is not mandatory for them, it'll be so much better for having good communication with the issues at hand by some members of the community.
1387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Can Be Done To Reduce Gambling Related Issues Like Suicide etc? on: November 15, 2022, 05:21:24 AM
Gambling problems really do arise from bad gambling habits.

I think one of the best ways to lessen the gambling related issues you have mentioned is to conduct a kind of seminar whether online or in actual about the pros and cons of gambling. That way, the existing gamblers and those people who are planning to gamble will have an awareness of what kind of impact gambling might do in their lives. Since most of the gamblers nowadays do not really know or do not really allot time to research about the possible bad effects of gambling, which became the reason why most gamblers are being shocked the moment they encounter a rough patch.

Letting the people know who want to engage in gambling all of the perspective there is in gambling, not just the good or the bad will help them decide if it's for them and if they can handle the risk that comes along with it.
1388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bought 8000 lottery tickets on: November 15, 2022, 03:09:32 AM
The odds of you winning is definitely higher than those who just purchased a single ticket for the chance to win.

The more entries and the more risk you make, the higher probability of winning. However, winning the lottery isn't really guaranteed despite of you purchasing thousands of ticket. It's all really a matter of luck. Even if you'll purchase ten thousand and more, if the luck won't favor your side, then all of your ticket bets will just be all put into waste. I believe it's just really destiny that makes someone a millionaire through lottery.

I just hope that $800 is not an amount you can't afford to lose. Because $800 is a big amount already and you can already utilize it into something so much more. But if the case is it's only your spare and you can afford to lose it in the thin air, then good for you.
1389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your opinion on casinos that don't have ANN threads in the forum? on: November 14, 2022, 04:11:40 AM
You can contact the customer support of each casino if you have a problem with that casino. But if the casino has an ANN thread or a representative on the forum, that would be much better because you can complain in that thread and I guess many people will pay attention to your problem. This will attract casino representatives to respond to problems that arise in their casino. And there is a possibility that the casino can quickly solve your problem because the other members will help you too. But if the casino doesn't have an ANN thread in this forum, it seems difficult to solve the problem but it also depends on the problem.

This makes sense.

It's much better to have ANN thread in the forum for quicker access and resolution of the problem. This could also serve as a form of engagement between the casino and the players. Having an active thread that contains the feedback of the players and inputs of curious members could possibly help them establish stronger connection among their existing players.

However, it's not really mandatory. It just provides a wider avenue to have the players' problems and concerns be tackled which could also provide an awareness to other people having the same concern as them. Fellow members can give opinions that could help the fellow members encountering a problem. The website can also gain potential players if it is seen that they have good customer service from the thread. It will just be the casino's discretion if they will put such to boost their reputation. Because having an accessible representative is a good quality which other might be looking for.
1390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I won $128,000 and it's been a week waiting for game provider verification on: November 14, 2022, 02:42:16 AM
Sorry all I originally didn't give the name because like I said they have always done right by me and I think they will again now. I just didn't want people to see the name and the post and assume it's a bad place to play because it's been the opposite until now. The site is dragon7.games

I totally understand the need for verification, but I keep seeing different answers in different places. Most say 48hrs, some say a week  some say hours, some say two weeks.

I can tell you this has been the most stressful week of my life thus far lmao. Thanks everyone.

I personally have never heard of this site before, and in the future I would recommend you to play on the sites represented on this forum, and with a good reputation too, but I googled it, and found no red flags about the site you mentioned. So, hopefully, you will be able to withdraw your money within 2 weeks or so. In any case, let us know about the further development of events.

The hardest thing is winning a very huge amount on a gambling site that is not popular or well-known in the industry imagine winning $128k we don't know what's the standing capital of that casino, that is totally unheard of, and there's no update about this case too, there is one guy who won $85k on one popular casino but he gives an update almost every single day doing multiple posts, he really makes noise on his winning but OP he did not give us an update and there's no complaint in the scam section either, this is very suspicious.

I never heard of this site as well. It seems that this website is really unpopular, therefore almost no one here in forum has heard of it. I assume that since it is not really known nor widely played to by the members, it's reputation and credibility are already questionable. One thing everyone of us should remember is that we must not engage in new websites or even old websites that haven't proven themselves yet to the community because most likely, instances such as this will happen,

If the casino do not have the reputation you can rely on, doubt it instantly. It's always better to be suspicious and on-guard rather than being scammed because of too good to be true offers. The moment you decided to deposit money and risk it on that unknown website, consider your money gone. Because situations like these will be hard to resolve if the casino isn't cooperating. Who knows what's the casino's status, right? You were enticed to bet and play more to win more, but there isn't really any guarantee you'll be able to withdraw all of that. Especially if the casino's status is also uncertain - if whether they are really operating with enough capital to pay the players or not.
1391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who are those people that you don't want them to know you are a gambler on: November 14, 2022, 01:34:35 AM
Are you such gambler ?
Who are these people you hide your gambling activities from ?
Give a reason why you don't want them to know you are a gambler.

I don't hide my gambling activity but I'm not that kind of always showing it off either. I will just do it my usual way.

If ever someone knows I do gamble, I really don't care. I will mine my own business.

If they approach me and ask me about gambling-related concerns, I am even willing to give them a good response. Smiley

Good for you then.

Being able to not give a damn about other people's opinion and perspective of you will really make a huge difference. Knowing that you are just minding your own business and not really disturbing other people nor stepping their rights is already enough to keep you unbothered of their unsolicited statements. It's just so funny that most people do not know how to mind their own business and to not be involved in someone else's life they aren't included to begin  with.

It's also good to know that you are being open about helping them to know more about gambling, if they will ask. Spreading awareness and imparting the knowledge you know to them will definitely help them to be more open-minded and perhaps they might have change of heart in gambling if ever gambling is already in bad light with them.
1392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cash out or wait till the end on: November 12, 2022, 03:23:15 PM
The best way is to cash out the profits you've made a day, that way you will not be tempted to use it when you lose all of you capital. Cashing it out could also be a way for you to easily see your progress or profits compare to your past experience as a gambler. Financial management is important even to gamblers, because most of the gamblers that I know lost all of their capital and profits because they don't know how to manage it well, they just randomly bet as long as they have money.
1393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who are those people that you don't want them to know you are a gambler on: November 12, 2022, 01:56:33 PM
I hide my gambling activities from my wife the reason is that she told me  gamblers don't care about otger peoples welfare that much because the money gamblers are using to gamble if you ask them for help ,they prefer gambling than helping someone in need at the moment. I have tried to convince her this depends on the individual but she insisted that she has witnessed it twice from different people.
I also hide it from my church members I don't know why but I feel it should be a secret in other for them to know am someone that can be relied on in carrying out the church activities with trusting

Your wife surely has the generalized perspective about gamblers instilled in her mind.

Usually, in the mainstream media, gambling is really a taboo topic. And being a gambler is not something to be proud of because of the negative connotations that come along with it such as branding gamblers as lazy, irresponsible, selfish, addicts, and have no self-control. The discrimination once people knew you are a gambler is really overwhelming which is why most gamblers prefer to keep it hidden instead of being bashed and hated by many by showing the skeletons on their closet.

If you have a close-minded loved ones, it will be really hard to come out that you are a gambler because you'll just be criticized. That's why I totally understand why some people do not tell their partners that they are gambling. While this is somehow show me a negative side which is lack of being open in communication and transparency, I can't really put all the blame on you.

Hiding it from your fellow church members could be a good option to do on your end because people who worship are sometimes the most judgmental people you'll ever met. They have certain standards and one of those is to display "holiness" attitude that should not involve any type of vices. You might be the subject of their gossip if ever they'll know about your gambling ways, so be always on your guard.
1394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Does Gambling/Casino Ads Help An Addicted Gambler Who Wants To Stop Gambling on: November 12, 2022, 01:21:29 PM
If we ban gambling adds because gamblers might see it and feel the need to gamble maybe we should ban models in swimsuits because sex addicts might feel the need to masturbate. Or let's ban food pictures because people with eating disorders will have a hard time.

Your addiction is yours to fight and control. You can't expect the whole world to help you with it. Don't ant to see ads? Lock yourself in a room and don't come out until you're healed.

Your statement makes sense.

Indeed, there are many disorders and addiction that could be triggered by seeing different images, advertisements, and the likes. Reading various posts that can instill trigger on your end can really affect your way of thinking and your behavior as well. This is because by being triggered, you relive your bad memories, habits, and even the drive to do things you've already given up long time ago.

While preventing triggers could be a good idea to save someone from misery, it should be reminded that your healing is your responsibility and it's not the responsibility of the people around you. You are responsible for your own person. Treatment from serious gambling addiction is one of the good ways to survive with lesser probability of having a relapse. I very much agree that a person's struggle in addiction is their fight. Other people surrounding them could only do so much and adjust to a certain extent, but it won't always happen because as harsh as this may sound, the world do not revolve around you and your battle.
1395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: We Feel All The Emotions When We Gamble on: November 12, 2022, 12:48:59 PM
We indeed feel various emotions when we take risks in general. It's normal to feel many emotions all at once or even sudden change of emotion especially if the situation you are into quickly turns into something unexpected. Winning a bet can give a person the feeling of satisfaction, enjoyment, and fleeting feeling that as if you are on a cloud-9. However, the moment you lose, all of those happy feelings will fade away and turn into melancholy. We are humans, it's perfectly normal to have those emotions varying in scenarios we are in.

But for me, this isn't enough to justify that someone must not quit gambling or even do moderate and responsible gambling just because he feels all these emotions to make him alive. It's still a matter of discipline. Emotions are part of a human nature. Using it as an excuse just to justify your bad gambling habits because you feel like you exist and you feel high is just so wrong on so many levels. We should still be able to analyze and recognize every situation we are in. We should know when to continue and when to stop. We should control our emotions and not the other way around.
1396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin really the future of money? on: November 11, 2022, 02:57:58 PM
The dip is bringing doubt, for many people like us who believe that bitcoins are the future of money. If money has a value storage function from monetary economics
Quote
Storage of value is one of the three generally accepted functions of money,
and bitcoins with how their value can just suddenly drop, can we still defend them as the future of money?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Store_of_value

Doubts are the only one you can get in bearish market if you don't know what Bitcoin really is. Volatility is the reason why it has ups and downs, dipping is a good opportunity to buy, not to doubt it. But like what I've said, if you don't have any idea about cryptocurrency, a dipping price is a no good for you because you think cryptocurrency is a thing that would only go up forever, there's no such thing.

Those people who always doubt Bitcoin in a bearish market are those people that are always buying when it reaches another all time high and would complain not making any profits after that, because it keeps dipping again.
1397  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop justify stealing exchangers Are responseble on: November 11, 2022, 01:50:03 PM
Of course when your funds disappeared in a certain exchange, it is their responsibility to compensate for your losses, they have to return all of the funds you lost in order for them to maintain their services trustworthy. Nobody wants an exchange that doesn't care about its users, that's why those big exchangers are doing everything they could to solve every problem that their users are experiencing.
1398  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Exchangers Are safer then Banks and wallets on: November 11, 2022, 01:01:05 PM
Not your keys, not your wallet, and most of all, that's the scariest part because you don't have any control of your funds no matter how reputable a certain exchange is. Hardware wallets and cold wallets are much safer in my opinion, because you hold your own keys and funds, I guarantee that's much better and will let you sleep at night more peaceful.
1399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: November 11, 2022, 10:00:45 AM
It is normal to see Manny Pacquiao getting slower because he is already past his prime but even though he lost some speed, he is still quick on his feet.

Either way, if he's slow now or not, it doesn't matter on this exhibition match as they will just perform for entertainment. Speed or anything is not a factor since the output and result of this fight are already scripted at the beginning.

No way Manny Pacquiao will participate in exhibition matches that terms will be the same way as sanctioned real fights. If that's the case, then he should just comeback from retirement and continue his legacy.

Yes, but as fans, we are still in awe with Manny during his prime, that speed of his and the power and maybe there are still fans wanting to see the old Manny. But as you have said, this is a exhibition match, he could show his speed or not, but it doesn't matter. We should be entertain already just to see Manny again in the ring even if it is again a Youtuber that we know he can beat easily.

But let's see if this is scripted just like the rest of the exhibition matches that we have seen so far.

Most exhibition matches are indeed scripted from the very beginning. It's almost an open secret. Although not every exhibition match are really like that because professional boxers has still pride. Most of them still want to win by doing their usual ways in boxing as a refresher as form of relaxation as well from retirement.

The good thing here in their exhibition match is that there are people who will also benefit because the money Pacman would get will mostly go to charity. Despite his age, surely Pacquiao still has the moves. He may be past his prime, but the training and discipline instilled to him will surely remain despite being out of the ring.
1400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Copying Bet From Other Unknown Bettors, Is This a Good Practice? on: November 11, 2022, 09:17:21 AM
Some people prefer doing this , but they mostly place their bets after those famous personalities who are known to win big from betting. Personally, I view this as a risky move especially if you'll just copy a bet rrom an unknown bettor with no reputation and credibility to uphold. They might end up messing up and you'll instantly lose your money.

This way is widely known in trading as well. There are people who like to do copy trading and they mostly follow those people that are really good at trading to make the most out of their trade. But it's still so much better that you personally know how betting works and how much risk you are putting your funds into, so that you won't do the blame game afterwards.
