241  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Joe Biden is a senile, old Bitch on: April 24, 2024, 05:46:05 PM
Biden’s proposed capital gains tax rate of nearly 50% is insane. This after spiking inflation. He’s stealing money from the citizens of America and sending it to foreign countries. I can’t even believe this… I don’t think he has any chance of legitimately winning and will probably go down as the worst President in history. Still, I’m sure there will be a fair share of brainless morons who vote for him in November.
242  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 Push-Ups A Day Until Bitcoin Is $100K Challenge on: April 24, 2024, 05:42:43 PM
I like the little chart showing our progress to 100K push-ups. Pretty cool. I haven’t missed a day yet but am trying not to report so frequently. One thing I’ve started doing as well is instead of just doing push-ups, I try to explode off the ground with all my power. I’m told this should help me on my quest to be able to do 100 push-ups at once. I seem to have hit a wall on progress there. I have still not done more than 50 at a time.
243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: April 24, 2024, 05:37:57 PM
I think the Celtics probably take this series over the Heat easily and tonight should be another step towards that. Nothing too surprising expected there. The New Orleans game should be a little more interesting, as that team should be rested finally after the play-in tournament. No Zion and an angry BI makes it a tough road ahead for them though.
244  Economy / Gambling / Re: I want to be a video game streamer on the kik.com gambling stream crypto site. on: April 24, 2024, 05:35:58 PM
How do I do this?

I made account but can't upload profile picture or seem to locate area to configure settings..

I play a game called Roblox.

They have good rate for streamer pay.

Thank you kindly.

🙏

First thing is first… If you want people to be able to watch you then you need to drop a link to your channel. Secondly, Roblox isn’t a gambling stream. Most people stream things like playing games on Stake, which you can see via my signature banner. You can stream Roblox and even make money, but I fail to see how that’s related to gambling.
245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can people still get the addictive nature through friendly games on: April 24, 2024, 05:32:08 PM
If there’s one thing I’m certain of in life, it’s that people can get addicted to anything and it doesn’t have to have money involved. You see hoarders addicted to stacking nonsense in their house, people addicted to video games, music, movies, even working out or heaven forbid masturbating. I’m not sure what gives certain people such addictive personalities, but just hope people find positive ways to use their time.

Kidding aside, I'll stick with my previous prediction on this series that the Nuggets will sweep the Lakers like what they did last playoffs. Jokic is just too much for AD to handle. His footwork and his vision is too much that even AD who "MUST" be a candidate for Defensive player of the year is no-match against his him. TBH, I would not want to go all-in with the Lakers right now. Obviously, the duo of Murray and Jokic can't be stop by anybody on the Laker roster, and Darvin Ham seems crumbling in clutch time, and can't make good decisions. Nevertheless, I still believe that the Nuggets will sweep them. Smiley

No disrespect towards Laker fans out there. It's just my prediction.

Let's see mate... If the Lakers loss in game 3 then I can say that your prediction is right as I would not even count the succeeding game/s.

Before their series started, I also thought that this will be either a sweep or a 4-1 in favor of the defending champions. Currently it is 2-0 for Denver but we did saw that Lakers has the potential to win since they did make the games close and even had a huge lead in one of those games. But I am still holding on with my prediction. Denver might play even better as their series progressed. And as long as Jokic is healthy, there's a lot of options for the team to execute their offense. We'll see what Ham can do when the games are switching to their homecourt.

We should wait until game 3 is over, that's the best chance the Lakers could win because they are at home and they have the crowd to support them. I'm also betting on the legacy of Lebron because it doesn't look good if Lebron got swept again by the Nuggets which he is a hall of famer and even in the discussion on being a GOAT. I know the momentum is on the Nuggets but in the last 2 games, they Lakers had control at the start they just failed in the end which is something they have to figure out how to improve.

They did get a bit of a bad deal on game 2. I think that alone will probably be enough to defeat them. Remember the Cavs after JR Smith cost them a game against the Warriors. LeBron didn’t get another win that series. From the press conference you could see that the players were defeated and blaming the refs. That’s going to be as big a hurdle to overcome as the Nuggets.
247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: April 24, 2024, 02:52:45 AM
The Suns looked bad tonight. Really bad. All that money assembling a big 3 and not one of them can even shoot 50% from the field… They’re getting pieces up by no names… At least they managed to hold Anthony Edwards to a bad game offensively, but it doesn’t look good for Phoenix. At this point they’re going to need a complete turnaround to avoid an early exit from the playoffs.

Only runs on 220V I guess?

Correct. There are places that sell conversion kits for them if you wanted to try and run them on 110v, but the cost is pretty prohibitive so it would probably be cheaper and easier to just have an electrician install a 220v outlet for you to run this as is. The market is definitely in need of a high powered and competitive 110v miner option.

I will take it off your hands if you want. My little bro is an electrician and I have a few spare slots on my breaker box, I think I could prob get him to add a 220 circuit no problem. Hopefully have it up and running by next fall when it starts getting cold again Cheesy

Where are you located? Shipping outside the US probably isn’t worth it is why I ask. Also, be aware that I do not have the power cables for this unit so you’d need to get those separately. If that all sounds ok with you then let’s make a deal and get this unit shipped out and on its way to you. Feel free to drop me a PM.

The Phoenix Suns and Minnesota Timberwolves are about to go at it on TNT (HBO “Max” also). Honestly, this is probably my favorite matchup of the playoffs so far. The Suns are stacked with veterans and offense while the Timberwolves have a lot of hot young talent and defensive abilities. I think Phoenix will win but I’m secretly hoping the Timberwolves go all the way.
250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why the Reluctance? on: April 23, 2024, 06:20:51 PM
Some countries are led by not only their laws but also by their morals and ethics. Especially when it comes to religions, not all groups are on board with gambling as a form of entertainment and some people still think it is evil and destroys lives. For this reason, casinos always have a difficult time moving into new places and establishing themselves in new cultures.
251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Runes push fees as high as 900/vbyte or $196 US on: April 23, 2024, 06:18:13 PM
So long as scaling continues to be done in the light of what will be most beneficial to the developers coding it and not what will work best (which at this point is very obviously merged mining like satoshi was steering Bitcoin towards), then new users during peak periods will immediately be funneled to using altcoins. Lightning is dead, Ordinals/Runes killed it. We need to move on from that failure.

looking for a knockoff replica of this. google searches aren't helping. any idea where i could find?

A replica should be pretty easy for you to make. Go buy the same pad of paper and a pen, print out the sign and then go to work doing some tracing. As far as counterfeiting collectors items goes, this has to be one of the easier items to replicate if someone did want such a thing. Say how much you want to pay and I’m sure someone would be willing to make you one.
254  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 23, 2024, 06:06:20 PM

If they seed it with BTC60k as they plan, that should provide plenty of liquidity as money makers just need to keep premium/discount to NAV to a minimum. Furthermore, with 0,15% fees they'll have the lowest fees from all ETFs (after teaser rates expire), so i'm actually expecting inflows to mini and outflows to the mothership.

This week should give us a glimpse of what it'll be like once GBTC runs out of BTC.
I do agree, but I still yet have to figure out when this mini stuff will start trading.
The funny thing is that we are now grateful to them because they launched this very competitive product for 10% of the funds instead of being so angry at them because they refused to lower the fees on the remaining 90% of their stash.

It will be interesting to see what demand remains for the ETFs once GBTC is totally done selling. Most of what we’ve seen has been musical chairs with investors switching funds and that’s why the ETFs had such a huge launch. We need them to swallow another hundred thousand BTC from mtgox and then we’ll be off to the races. I still think the end of the year is when the fireworks will start.

Well, this is interesting. Connor McGregor is going to fight after three years I believe. Let's see how he does and let's also see if he can actually increase the current popularity of the UFC. We all know that he has a lot of crazy fans. But is he still that much relevant? we all know he lost his motivation the day Khabib Nurmagomedov announced his retirement. Maybe he finally understood that him getting his rematch against Khabib is never going to happen. And probably he also understood that he finally needed to move on and stop letting Khabib live rent free in his head.

Strickland's fight is also going to be very interesting as well. Recently he has been putting a lot of effort into the social media side. let’s see if he has also been putting work into his fighting as well.

I’m really looking forward to seeing Conor fight again. I worry a little bit that he is not going to be the same fighter and the fight won’t be exciting, but it’s hard to count him out without seeing him in action. If Ryan Garcia can pull off an upset win then maybe McGregor can as well. I’m definitely excited to see it no matter how much of a train wreck it is.
256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 23, 2024, 06:01:33 PM
I still can’t believe that Ryan Garcia fooled everyone and got the win last weekend. I’m happy for him but I honestly didn’t think he had a chance with where his mind was at. He cost me a pretty big parlay victory as the final leg I needed, but I’m honestly glad for him. Had he lost that fight it very well could have been the end of his career.
257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: April 23, 2024, 05:59:41 PM
It is really such a shame that Lebron had to lose this way, it's clear that he rarely gets help, but that was ok when he was 35 or under, when he is 38-39 years old and still doesn't get proper help, it becomes boring to watch. AD played well by the way, I am saying he doesn't get help, but that doesn't include AD, that dude played amazingly, in fact for the first time I have seen someone actually slow down Jokic most of the game, first half Jokic was nowhere to be found because AD defended so beastly.

All lakers had to do was defend well on the last 2 minutes of the game, and instead they just let Nuggets play ball the way they want to, which is the biggest problem. I believe there is no other way around but a loss now, Nuggets will get the series again.

LeBron was pretty pissed off in his postgame interview. I’m sure they’ll be announcing a fine for him today. He said the F-word which doesn’t happen very often while questioning the replay center’s abilities. That last second shot by Denver had to puss the Lakers off too. Denver has a way of winning on ridiculous shots. Game 3 will be a heated one.
258  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 Push-Ups A Day Until Bitcoin Is $100K Challenge on: April 22, 2024, 06:59:54 PM
Was doing a little bit of celebrating this weekend. The result was me at 3am Saturday night (Sunday morning) doing push-ups so I wouldn’t break my streak. I really wanted to skip it and I know that nobody would have known, but I didn’t want to cheat myself. Not gonna lie, it wasn’t great for my sleep, but I’m glad I’m still going strong. I feel like a nap is in the cards for me today as soon as I’m done fixing a leaky pvc valve. …
259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20 on: April 22, 2024, 05:35:18 PM
If Ryan Garcia was putting on an act like he was losing his mind just to get the odds as long as possible so he could bet on himself and win a fortune then he really is playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers. Personally I think he just got lucky and probably had a decent advantage not having to cut all the way to make weight, but I’m happy for him.

Nice to see the playoffs in full swing. I would’ve liked to see the Lakers win yesterday but it looks like Denver is going to be too much for them again this year. Lots more games today but the only one I’m really excited to see is the Clippers against the Mavericks. That should be an entertaining game.
