241  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Freelancers to hire: Coinlancer.net. Anyone? on: April 19, 2024, 06:41:37 AM
I have not heard about this service or used it before, from what i read in the website, they offer different services to crypto projects, you have to be certain that they are legitimate and not a scam before you pay them for anything. I just did a quick research and what i found is coinlancer.com, it looks like it is a service built on the Ethereum platform that connects freelancers to job clients in a decentralized way, take note that i have used neither of these services and this is not an endorsement for you to use it.
Knowing the crypto industry, I'm sure that this is a really difficult thing to get on board to because I'm sure that there's going to be people out there that would scam freelancers of their work so I'm not entirely sure about this one, maybe sticking to the legitimate freelancer websites would be the best course of action, just request to your employer that you're open to the option of getting paid in crypto. It's also difficult to hire here since this is a crypto freelancer website, it's most likely that there's going to be scammers on the employee side that would ask for a payment first and then not show up for work so the risk involved is just too much.
242  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [GUIDE] Best Crypto Investment Opportunities for Passive Income -2024 on: April 19, 2024, 05:42:31 AM
Binance sucks as a way to make passive income, I've locked my bitcoins there for about 3+ years and my total profit form that hasn't even crossed the 0.0001 satoshi territory yet so it's better off just doing it in Blackjack, I'm planning to put in a thousand USDT there and hope for the best, I know it's not a lot but at the least I'm making something while I'm hodling, maybe I'd go with bitcoin but I'm still having second thoughts about that one.

Read this posts by @mindrust and you will see something decent.

Low income but long-term it could be profitable and since that gambling site has a good reputation, I doubt your Bitcoin will get stuck there or be scammed.
I don't have enough funds yet to invest in it but I am already thinking about it and am on my way to doing the same and investing with them. It's better than having joint pain in doing faucets which I have done before and that's why I know how difficult to do it just to gain a few satoshis. Plus, there are not many websites that offer faucets because the value of Bitcoin increasing every moment and there's more expectation that it will continue because of the Bitcoin halving coming near. Or was it later? (timeline difference)
I'd rather stick with this one but I have not checked yet if they have the minimum amount of time that it should stay in the investment or can it be plug and play kind of thing where you get in and can get out anytime unlike the staking process.
I'm already allocating how much I want to invest in it and so far, it's looking good, I'm quite busy with my other things in life so I can't deal with it but once I'm through, I'm going to do it, I'm bookmarking it so I don't forget to do it in case I finish what I'm doing right now. Maybe tightening the budget right now could be a possible thing to do so you don't have to worry about not putting in enough money, take it slow because I think that you can still put in more bitcoin even if you have already invested.

247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The effect Nigeria ban on Binance P2P traders on: April 18, 2024, 07:44:58 AM
What I see in this ban is that it's going to just fuel the wants of the people to have a platform where they can do their P2P transaction, it's only a matter of time that this will happen though, pretty sure that we're going to see a lot of stuff happening when things like this happen. It's already having an effect here in my country although I can still use the P2P function, most crypto users in the country are already scrambling out to find the next platform they want to use for P2P trade or just basic cryptocurrency trading, that way, when the ban hammer finally hits Binance, it's not going to be as damaging as it already is for the cryptocurrency traders and users. I hope that the Nigerian crypto community is doing just fine amidst all of this storm, it's not every day that we'd see something like this happen.
248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin halving countdown on: April 18, 2024, 03:30:27 AM
Excited aboutwhat? the halving or the effect in the market?

I have experienced this twice but just this time that I become more consistent and completely understand.
what is going on because those past 2? i was being easily to be affected of the market movement resulting
me to sell when the price let volatility.
Just be excited for the unknown, it's not like it's going to make you lose anything other than the jovial waiting for what you'd expect to happen. Yes, it's not a big deal but you don't have to be too strict and a stickler for rules in regards to this kind of thing also, the effects of halving isn't set in stone, meaning that there's no guarantee it's going to repeat what it did during the previous halving, remember that this is also the first that bitcoin pumped to another ATH before the halving so definitely there's something to look forward to.
249  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How do you know which companies to trust? Help us build a product around trust on: April 18, 2024, 02:34:14 AM
Dude, I'm sure that you're not going to be finding people here that would be honest on their answers to your questions in that Google form/survey form because they're going to see it as a way for you to gather data and they don't like the idea that someone is sneakily trying to do that, if you're talking about building trust especially here in the forum, probably the best thing that you can do is to start your company and do what needs to be done, realize your vision into reality and do what you've promised to do.
250  Economy / Lending / Re: Why do you take a loan on this forum? on: April 18, 2024, 01:39:44 AM
~
Also taking a regular loan from bank or lending institution is not everytime suitable for the cases of the loans made here.. not huge amounts, small durations ...  also many people prefer the dissociatin between their regular finances and their activity related to crypto.. So for some short and small actions making a regular bank loan would just not be suitable.
I don't know about the dissociation part but I can wholeheartedly agree that small amounts to lend can be a good reason to do it in the Lending section of this forum compared to banks and such plus the fact that banks need you lots of stuff to deal with like paperwork and in some cases, credit scores, that's not the best metric to allow someone to get a loan, that's why it's better than banks.
251  Economy / Lending / Re: personal loan 500-1000 € on: April 15, 2024, 07:59:51 AM
I am surprised to see you have not common sense LOL
They do have that but they just shut it in at the back of their minds because they know that if they let that common sense get in the way of what they're doing, they'll end up having a hard time doing the scam. Goofiest lending scam attempt that I've seen so far.
252  Economy / Lending / Re: Why do you take a loan on this forum? on: April 15, 2024, 05:41:03 AM
A few things that come to my mind:
1) Less embarassing to ask on a public forum as a stranger than an acquaintance/ family member/ friend, especially when it comes to online vice activities
This is probably the best reason in my opinion why people are taking loan here in the forum, it's probably much easier to do it here too because you just need to have a reputable people to deal with and you're good to go unlike with a loan that you will have to face the lender, it gets hard at times because there's going to be negotiations that you yourself don't want to get yourself into. Plus there's also the benefit that the lenders won't probably care about how you will use your money as long as you return it with the interest.
253  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Buy stake. us account, willing to pay 100U on: April 15, 2024, 04:59:22 AM
I'll try it out with another account first and see how it goes. If it's fun, then I'll consider it.
You can still do it with your own account, pretty sure that you're not going to get any problems if you use your own identity to register an account. That reason of yours if it's fun then you're going to register an account of your own is flimsy at best so it's not going to be the best excuse not to mention that what if that person has a backdoor access to the account that you've bought and you deposited a large amount of money there and then that person decided to scam you? Plus, there's also the part that this can be classified as an identity theft.

255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Introduction to Crypto Airdrops on: April 14, 2024, 09:50:07 AM
1. It initially was. But now that you've mentioned it, I will refrain from using tagalog on the Telegram Channel for the international users. The website is 100% in English, though!

2. Yes. While we can't 100% prevent exploits — because even good teams with good intentions can get exploited, I only list airdrops that I personally farm and risk my own hard-earned money on. That's why you don't see the lesser-known airdrops on Paldo.io (the ones you see on random posts and various crypto groups). And yes, probably like half of the airdrops listed on Paldo.io doesn't have referral/affiliate programs.
You don't have to refrain from speaking Tagalog on the main channel, I'm sure that you can still participate with a mixture of languages in your channel or you can separate the English speaking channel and the Tagalog speaking channel, that's the most optimal, I think that as a Filipino, if it's a source of pride for us Filipinos, it's a bad idea to compromise when it's set up in a way that would make us get recognized first. I think that the way that you do things, it's actually a nice thing too that you care about what airdrop the people that will follow you will invest into, it's such a good thing to do and not care too much about profit because I'm sure that there's some airdrops that would try and get to you and they would pay you so people that are following you would get their airdrops, you also don't do referral, that's and awesome thing to do if you ask me.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Approach Alt-Coins in This Israel-Iran Pretended War News? on: April 14, 2024, 09:14:36 AM
Just like we dumped hard whenCOVID news first broke, just like we dumped hard when Russia vs Ukraine war started, the price of Bitcoin & most altcoins will recover in a few days. I would be surprised if we haven’t retraced the whole dump within one week. Whales & market makers use bad news to dump the price to buy in at a cheaper price. Retail investors are usually the panic dumpers, stronger hands will buy the dip & all will be good again. Don’t fall for whales games.
It's a sad thing but if you think about it, altcoins and bitcoin will almost always benefit when there's something negative, what I mean is that you can almost always expect price dips that you can use as an opportunity to buy a lot and then you can expect yourself to get the profits really fast since most of these dumps are quickly recovered. So when it comes to approach, I'd say that you should keep your eyes peeled on the market via the exchanges and your fiat ready because you're not going to want to miss out when this happens. As @DeathAngel have said, it's probably the best if you don't become your typical retail investor that panic sells and dumps their crypto, think like a whale, you know that they expect small retail investors like us to be panicking so they dump their own hoard and they get it back much lower and they get more value because they know that you and I were selling, if you do this, you're most likely going to get some profit in times like this instead of losses.
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana might be next leading, after Ether & bnb. on: April 14, 2024, 03:29:33 AM
I actually think that is Solana’s place; right after BNB. I don’t think Solana is gone, and I wonder why someone thinks that. Let’s not forget that attention is divided and there are many projects people could invest their money in. That’s one of the problems with altcoins today. Every day more is created and it’s harder to focus on the really worthy ones. But Solana is doing really fine.
With so many things that are happening in the Solana ecosystem, I think that it's safe to say that it's really in the right place and I think that it would be a good time to buy some Solana because there's a possibility that they might go up in price again and I don't think that you should be missing out on that when there's a possibility that this might happen. Especially with all the investors right now looking for the next big meme coin, it's a nice timing to get into while these meme coins are popping up on Solana.
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is LTC dead? on: April 14, 2024, 02:43:39 AM
There's just that not many development in litecoin that there's not that many to talk about and just because there's not a lot of people that are talking about litecoin doesn't mean that it's gone for good, got to remember that people are still invested in it so they can't just abandon that and they can't afford to do it with the lawsuits and the money that they're going to let go off, litecoin is here to stay whether you like it or not. Looking at their current price might not help but I'm sure that you can still invest in it and see yourself hodling with some hope that you'll be getting your money back, just don't put in too much into it because it's not as hot right now.
259  Economy / Speculation / Re: Iran strikes Israel. Crypto crashing heavily... on: April 13, 2024, 11:43:27 PM
You have a good point here, is a big coincidence that the attack and the price crash happened back to back. It would be nice to know what are the exchanges involved in this crash and from what countries are the sellers. If this big cash out was made to put that money on war i wouldn't be surprised at all.

Looks like the price is going up again, but there are $100B missing in the market cap, so, will be hard to see a full correction.
I'm inclined to believe that you might be right that this crash is the result of someone selling their bitcoin hoard to fund a war, it's a really sudden price dump too and I can't believe that the pump is quick too, it's a really nice reminder to us that bitcoin is a volatile asset no matter how much we want to say that it's becoming more stable as an investment, moments like this aren't reaffirming those dreams but things happen and I guess it's our job to be flexible when it comes to things like this, but still, bitcoin being used to fund wars seems kind of crazy to think about, I hope that there's other reason besides that, I don't think that anyone of us here don't like the idea of bitcoin being associated with war.
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are the good days for meme coins gone forever ? on: April 13, 2024, 09:54:42 AM
Not really, I believe that they're here to stay, DOGE is still going strong and there's SHIB too, it's a matter of what memecoin will pop off each year, it's just that they're so useless that it's difficult to discern whether they're going to make you a profit or they're just a quick cash grab for the people that have made them, don't ever get your hopes up when it comes to meme coins, they're not worthy of investing a lot of your money and it's a matter of gamble anyway, you invest a small amount and it returns to you much bigger than you'd expect, it's not going to be "I should've bought more" kind of thing, that's never going to be the right thing to do with meme coins, they're for the fun stuff and memes about investing in a useless coin.
