Has anyone used this service successfully to vouch for it? This is one of those seemingly too good to be true things. Especially when you consider how frequently chargebacks happen due to credit cards being used for this type of thing.

OP - Are you doing any “vouch” subscriptions? Do you do Kick subscriptions as well or just Twitch?
2602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul Vs Nate Diaz boxing Aug 5th on Dazn PPV on: August 07, 2023, 05:59:47 AM
Just imagine, when a popular fighter retires or stops in UFC because of injury or they are aging, they still have another opportunity to make big money in boxing. The good news is that they can even make bigger money compared to what they earn in UFC.

This is the silver lining that I see in these otherwise boring fights. If you have made a big name in the UFC but you were kicked out and you still want to make more money because you earned much less when you were there, it is an option to shift to boxing and fight some businessmen like the Paul brothers. You don't even need to know how to box like Nate. Aside from your name, you just have to appear very eager to break your opponent's face, throw those awkward punches, showboat a little, taunt your opponent, and that's it. You will make good money.

While it is good that Anderson Silva and Nate Diaz got paydays, I’m not sure how much longer this influencer boxing thing has. Jake’s fights are getting less and less spectacular, and to be honest his last three fights haven’t been worth watching as we didn’t get to see the KO’s we were hoping for. I’m not sure if there’s even another big fight to be had. Andrew Tate or KSI maybe.
2603  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Thoughts on a Bitcoin smart wallet? on: August 07, 2023, 05:56:16 AM
Bitcoin hardware wallets is going to for sure be a highly competitive space in the coming years. While there are several companies now fighting for market share, I think before too much longer they will all be fighting for a niche market as the logical development in the space is for a company like Apple to add support in their already trusted wallet apps.
2604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 07, 2023, 05:53:21 AM
Only about 2 more months until the NBA is back upon us. I don’t think there’s much room for surprise this year. The Denver Nuggets have been the young team on the come up for a while and I think they’re still the team to beat. I think Phoenix is the team that has a lot to prove. With their roster everyone should be expecting a championship.
2605  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MicroStrategy Turns Profitable with Bitcoin and Plans for More Growth on: August 07, 2023, 05:51:31 AM
Very interesting. If they can start making a profit consistently that could be great for their ability to stack Bitcoin. If the price of BTC does go up to where they are in a great deal of profit, I wouldn’t even be mad if they sold some to use funds to further grow their main business or invest in treasuries in order to keep new dollars coming in to buy more BTC.
2606  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ARE THE CONSPIRACY THEORIST RIGHT? on: August 07, 2023, 05:49:48 AM
Lately you can pretty much believe conspiracy theorists over your own government. Covid showed how the government will ignore common sense and censor the truth in order to get you to do what they want. Even if it is bad for you and could mean the end of your life. I really don’t see how anyone with any sense could ever trust the government again.
2607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if USDT falls down? on: August 07, 2023, 05:48:19 AM
We know that USDT is coming back from the most horrific situations from the past. But I want you to answer this, what do you do if someday without any signs USDT falls back to 0.1-0.2$? What do you do? Can you survive in this situation? What do you do if you put all your assets in USDT?

Just curious to know your answer. Don't say reasons that it won't happens, because I want to know if something this kind of thing happens in future what will you do?

If you ask my replay to this, I can say I will ok with it. Because I put my 20% into USDT right now. Why? because you know guys there is an Old saying Never put your all eggs in the same basket.  Wink

If USDT were to crash it would be catastrophic to the crypto space. Their team (company or whatever) would likely have to start mass selling off assets to try and keep the peg to the dollar alive. As long as they don’t do anything shady though and they have the assets they do, a run that broke the peg and allowed them to buy back USDT below $1 would be quite beneficial to them.
2608  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The most worth watching Bitcoin movies on: August 07, 2023, 05:45:24 AM
I think The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin is the only Bitcoin movie I’ve seen. While the documentaries are cool and it is awesome to see members of this forum having their contributions shown, I get more excited when I see Bitcoin make an appearance in more popular culture and movies. Shows like The Simpsons have featured BTC quite frequently and that’s always cool.

Explanation
Chartbuddy thanks talkimg.com

we thank God the price is gradually going up again. But the price might be on this $29k through out this month.

It does feel like we’re about to start inching up after scraping the bottom of the trading range for a bit. I think this will turn out to have been a good time to buy later on. This could even be the last dip below $30K before the runup to the halving starts. I would imagine by the end of the year miners will stop selling and start waiting for the price to reflect the new supply rate.

What I could say of the USA situation is that they are not lucky this time, they actually played well and defended right too. But as we all know, the penalty is a game of luck, and the Swedish side had the luck this time as fate would have it. I only share the pains of the USA team which is the defending champion, it's so sad that they were knocked out at the very beginning of the knockout stage. And as for your analysis, dream on, Africans might surprise you this time, especially the Nigerian team, they are far better than their men.
It was a match between the first and third rankings so we can see that both teams played very well, there was no dominance even though the United States had more chances than Sweden, but Sweden's main goalkeeper Musovic played very impressively by saving his goal several times from USA attacks.
Penalty Shootout USA had taken the lead when the shooter from Sweden failed, but the pressure to take the penalty was so strong that it often became an obstacle for the players and they failed to complete their task, and that's what the last kickers from the USA experienced
Sweden will face Japan in the quarter-finals, and Japan, which has been quite impressive in several matches, will make it very difficult for Sweden.

In today's match England will face Nigeria, the best team currently in Africa and this will be an interesting match, Nigeria, even though they are not seeded in this match, cannot be underestimated because they performed quite well in the group phase and managed to draw against Canada, which is one of the teams strong in the group.
Another match that will be quite exciting is the host vs Denmark, and this will be a balanced match considering the strength of the two teams which are quite equal, Australia is superior because they are playing in front of their own public and that provides extra motivation to be able to move on to the next round, but that will not be a guarantee for Australia to beat Denmark easily, and from the two matches this time have the possibility of being determined until the extra time round and penalty shootout.
The USA losing really opened up the field. The USA should have won easily since they dominated the match. I see another upset here with Nigeria.

I’m just glad we don’t have to hear from that weird colored hair freak of a woman on the women’s team anymore. I’m so tired of her saying men should be able to play women’s sports and hating on our country. Her career ending this way with her losing the game for her team seems like the perfect ending if you ask me.
2611  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Matthew McConaughey Wants To Change The Term 'Gun Control' To More Gun Control on: August 06, 2023, 06:08:02 PM
It is so weird to me that the government hires and pays actors to promote their agendas. Has this always been a thing? I recall as a kid seeing celebrities being hired to push agendas like water conservation or helping the homeless. I’m not sure when it got to be so partisan with them hiring celebrities to push the political agendas of a single party.

Sunday musings...

Most people right now:
they don't believe in bitcoin
Well, more for me, then

#haiku

It does seem like the market is getting a little exhausted. I think the folks who got in at the bottom have likely all sold now. I’m not sure where the increased selling is coming from that’s holding the price down still. I’m not sure how much longer this will continue, but I definitely don’t expect it to remain a trend after April of next year due to the halving.
2613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 06, 2023, 06:04:45 PM
I just think that we should consider that Rubio may have been like this because he played professional basketball since he was 14. This dude could be one of the players with highest epectation for a career out there ever. Imagine being epected to be great sinc 14, its been 20+ years easily. If you are lebron and achieve it then its ok but when you are not that good then it may hurt you in the end. This shouldnt be a big deal to give a break, do some stuff he has fun doing whatever he likes doing. Dont know if he is married or has children but if he is, spending time with them would be a good choice for sure. I wish him the best for rest of his life, I will always remember as a great passer and a good PG

Shouldn't be an issue I think because even before they played professionally in the NBA, they have already known some facts that the greatest players aren't born every day. LeBron James himself did not expect it to happen to himself as by his words "I was just a kid from Akron, Ohio and I shouldn't even be here". He was just playing basketball since then and turns out that he is born to be great at it.

What I think is that it would be an issue that will eventually turn into a mental problem if the people around you is giving you so much pressure and expectation that you will be one of the greatest and will change the system of NBA, and in this case it is Rubio. Anyway, we don't know that much about him that led him to this situation, so let's just hope for the best and that he can overcome his challenge much sooner.

There’s also the possibility that players get so much money nowadays, some of them would rather retire young and take advantage of being wildly rich. While some players go broke from their lifestyle after playing, there are plenty of players who could retire and live happily ever after with a few paychecks. I don’t blame them for wanting to enjoy life and not care about their playing legacy.

Elon tweeted this morning that the fight between him and Mark Zuckerberg will be live on Twitter. I’m not sure if he’s trolling or not. That would certainly be great for Twitter (X) but I still think Elon is biting off more than he can chew here. Zuckerberg has been training hard for a long time. I’ll admit if it happens I’ll definitely be watching, but it shouldn’t happen.
2615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul Vs Nate Diaz boxing Aug 5th on Dazn PPV on: August 06, 2023, 05:44:26 PM
That fight was pretty much exactly what I thought it was going to be. Nate Diaz is a pretty terrible boxer and that was very clear after the first round. The only thing that really surprised me about the fight was that Jake Paul wasn’t able to cut Nate Diaz. I thought for sure that there would be lots of blood. I guess now we wait for Nate to get his revenge in MMA with a quick chokehold.
2616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul Vs Nate Diaz boxing Aug 5th on Dazn PPV on: August 05, 2023, 11:18:25 AM
Drake threw $250,000 on Nate Diaz to beat Jake Paul with 4 to 1 odds. I think he’s probably just hoping to get himself a million dollar payout and didn’t see much gain in betting on Jake Paul. While this does make me think maybe Jake isn’t the sure thing I think he is, it’s not enough to get me to follow him. I still say Jake wins by stoppage.
2617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul Vs Nate Diaz boxing Aug 5th on Dazn PPV on: August 05, 2023, 01:58:03 AM
I may try and catch a stream if I don’t go out to watch it. Everything tells me that Jake Paul is going to win this fight but you never know. I think I said early on I thought the fight would be stopped because Nate would be too bloody to see, and I think that’s still a good prediction. I’ll have to check the odds out later and see if it’s worth throwing more than $20 at Jake.
2618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 04, 2023, 08:26:01 PM
The Lakers giving Anthony Davis $186,000,000 with a three year extension seems a bit insane given how much time he has missed. He’d better start staying healthy for the amount of money they’re giving him. 62 million dollars when he only plays about 50 games in a good year seems like like overpaying. I sure hope that contract doesn’t come back to bite them.
2619  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 04, 2023, 05:27:17 PM
The most talked trade this summer is still on the advantage of the Miami Heat. That being said, the trade about Lillard is now composed of a 4-team trade because the Portland insists that they don't want Tyler Herro on their roster, they just wanted a 4-5 future round picks, specifically first rounders. Hence why 4 teams are now involved in it.

A New Damian Lillard 4-Team Trade Where Everybody Wins

Portland Trail Blazers Receive: James Harden's expiring contract (can be flipped later), Kyle Lowry's expiring contract, Jaime Jacquez, Nikola Jović, a 2028 first-round pick from Miami, a 2030 first-round pick from Miami and a 2030 second-round pick from Chicago

Miami Heat Receive: Damian Lillard, Jusuf Nurkić, a 2029 second-round pick from Philadelphia and a 2028 second-round pick from Chicago

Philadelphia 76ers Receive: Zach LaVine, Tyler Herro and a 2029 second-round pick from Portland

Chicago Bulls Receive: Tobias Harris' expiring contract, Caleb Martin, Keon Johnson, a 2029 first-round pick swap with the 76ers and a 2030 first-round pick from Philadelphia

What do you guys think about this?

It looks like the Blazers are planning to rebuild their team and become the next Rockets considering they want to get so many draft picks for Lillard. Overall this deal looks good, although I think the Heat would be making a mistake if they parted ways with both Herro and Martin.
By the way, I just now noticed that next season is a player option for Harden, which means he has the right to become an unrestricted free agent. So if he really wants to leave the 76ers, I wonder why he hasn't exercised that right yet.

I don’t think next year is a player option for Harden. He just resigned an extension a few weeks ago, so it would be really weird if the first year of his extension was a player option…

Miami is going to end up messing up their future to get a season with Dame, but it’s their best chance at getting a chip before Butler ages any more.
2620  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul Vs Nate Diaz boxing Aug 5th on Dazn PPV on: August 04, 2023, 05:25:17 PM
Jake Paul is saying that Nate Diaz has accepted his offer to fight a MMA style rematch after this fight. That seems a little strange since this fight hasn’t happened yet, but I get the feeling they both know Jake is going to win. Maybe Nate getting beat up is part of the deal for him to get his $10 million to choke Jake out in the octagon.

Did they inked that yet? Because there should be some contracts involved if ever a rematch like that will happen as we both know that often times, Jake Paul is just saying things that he doesn't even mean and it's just to hype their fight. Besides, we all both know that he will not last that long inside the octagon against a fighter like Nate who would gladly choke him to death until he taps. It's quite interesting but it's much more interesting if it's already inked.

It could be the other way around because Jake had been training himself with MMA fighters to exactly go beyond boxing as well. They will need that to be written otherwise it will just be hype but once in the cage, Jake will beat his ass before squeezing the life for 2-0.  There is no way Naate is still in good shape by the looks of it, he didn't train seriously, he is just there for the money that Jake will pay him to be whacked.

Nate had to put on some weight so he said most of his training was eating and lifting weights, not even training to box. I only have $20 on Jake at the moment but I feel like I might have to up that a bit before the fight.

As for the MMA matchup, it’s already stalled because they both want the fight to be with their own fighting organization.
