The price is up over $35K and seems to show no signs of slowing down. It will be interesting to see if once the ETF is approved if we’ll see a selloff or a moon shot. The perfect storm seems to be aligning between the timing of this rally, the coming ETF approvals, and the halving. 2024 could be one of the bigger years we’ve seen for BTC.

The Lakers losing to the Magic is pretty embarrassing. They just aren’t a very good team this year. I feel bad for LeBron because he doesn’t have all that many games left but the players he’s being surrounded with are never going to win a title. The Suns are having an equally embarrassing year thus far. All the talk about them being the best shooting team ever, but they’re struggling against teams they should easily beat.

When you look at where the economy was 3 years ago, it’s hard to imagine things have gotten so bad so fast. Interest rates almost 4x higher along with gas prices. Inflation at generational highs. Proxy wars raging on with some of our biggest enemies. The situation is worse than anything people could have thought. I worry what one more year of Biden will do to this world.

There are already people who have created blockchains that are “faster” and “better” than Bitcoin. They have blockchains that are everything different than Bitcoin that you could imagine. However, the problem is always decentralization and fair distribution. This is where Bitcoin will always be King and why it isn’t easily replicable.

Looks like the Boston Celtics are the last undefeated team left standing already in the NBA. They play against the Nets today in what should be an easy victory for them, but the odds don’t make it much of an appealing bet. For those who like to juice their bets with a little multi bet action, including the Celtics as winners might be an easy little bump in odds.

I can’t say I’ve ever felt lonely and thought to myself that the cure was gambling. Typically when someone is lonely they seek companionship, not entertainment. For me, I think a better explanation than loneliness would be boredom, as the cure for boredom is often entertainment, which is what gambling is. Although I guess in person gambling does have a social aspect.

When even the United States is urging a cease fire you know the humanitarian abuses must be unimaginable. Every day the headlines get worse and worse. So much suffering for so many as the result of actions from a few. I’m now seeing headlines that Israel is claiming responsibility for an airstrike on an ambulance? So sad…

What is the most money you have ever lost in one session? could be land base casino or crypto casino.
mine was $200,000 on Stake.com 2 weeks ago
Holy hell! Any chance you want to sign up for a new account using my referral link? LOL That’s crazy man. Please gamble more responsibly, unless you’re worth like 100 million dollars in which case have your fun. For me, losing that amount of money would probably cost me some sleep. I wouldn’t even consider doing it, but I’m not much of a gambler.

I agree with your logic. I always felt like sports betting is more trustworthy than other types because there’s not really any way you can be cheated when betting on public sporting events. As for tips… I’d say to bet what you know and use your betting to increase your enjoyment of watching the sporting event. Then you’ll always win, even when you lose.

Good game on tonight between the undefeated Dallas Mavericks and the single loss having Denver Nuggets. The Nuggets are the favorite and I think they’ll probably win, but it’s interesting to see an undefeated team expected to lose (which I agree with). Could be an opportunity to bet Dallas +6.5 since they haven’t even lost a game yet…

I don’t track the movements of whales because I don’t care what other people are doing with their funds. Not to mention anyone can make their coins look like they’re doing anything with them, so if you are reliant on this sort of thing you’re leaving yourself open to being manipulated. Just make your own decisions and do your best. Don’t follow others.

More than hospitals I think the people need basic supplies. Food and water might be things we take for granted but I promise you the people in Gaza don’t. They’re having to rob and kill for food and water right now. It’s something that everyone should have sympathy for. Nobody on this earth should starve today.

This would be cool and I’m sure Bitcoiners would appreciate it, but I doubt it would have much impact. Who knows though. Maybe it would get some people to take another look at Bitcoin and realize that it hasn’t died as is being pushed in mainstream thought. It could even help some people get in early, so I guess I’m for it.

I think a guide for how to have fun gambling is a good thing. A guide on how to gamble profitably is pushing a pipe dream on people. Always remember that gambling is a form of entertainment. Not much different from going to the movies. Imagine thinking you can go to the movies and walk out with more money than you came in with…

I’ve just been reading some of the player comments about the in season tournament. It’s pretty funny. None of them have any idea what the purpose of the tournament is, which I can say I’m right there with them. One good idea I heard was the winner of the tournament getting a playoff spot. That would seemingly give it some purpose.

People getting mad in a price speculation thread. LOL
The beauty of this thread is the people who disagree with you take real financial penalties when they’re wrong. There’s no need to throw insults. That being said, sure feels like the market is catching its breath and doing some consolidation before the next leg up. Feels like the next move will be another up.

Someone claiming to be satoshi is a sure sign of a scammer. The real satoshi, if he was still alive, would never want anyone to know who he is. It would bring nothing but negative attention to himself and Bitcoin. People would use that information to undermine BTC and I’m sure there would be people trying to kidnap him. It’s just dumb to think anyone would want to be satoshi.

The Suns losing 2 straight to the Spurs is a pretty bad look. Sure, they were down a couple players but that shouldn’t have mattered. Wemby looking much better than I expected this early in the season. He was really exposing the weakness of the Suns, who seem more built to compete with the Warriors than a team with length like the Spurs.

I got my first message from an acquaintance today asking about Bitcoin and why it’s going up. Usually I’d say that’s a sign of a top but this guy has been around for a few cycles so I’d take it as a sign that people are starting to take notice and making their way back into crypto. Bull season has definitely started in my opinion.

Seems like a real bull to me. Markets around the world seem to be celebrating that the rate hike cycle appears to have ended for now. I haven’t seen as many failures as I expected and the housing market is still way too strong, but maybe they’ll pause here for a while and let people start feeling the pain. Those with decent financial situations are cheering that easy money times seem right around the corner again.
