2721  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Market Manipulation Logic? on: June 25, 2021, 03:00:44 PM
snip...
Market manipulation will remain untouched forever because if they do so there would be a counter flow of the money making and I think everyone benefited the market manipulation somehow if they know how to ride with them as well. Only those greedy one's will fail because they think too much outside of the box.

If you see an opportunity to make profit do it already and stop hesitating and making a what if conclusion because market manipulation happens everytime. Buy low and sell high or HODL! That's your only role when in crypto world.
Buy low and sell High, HOLD is seemed to be optional for me. I wasn't a long-term holder, unlike the others.

Anyways, since we are already here in crypto, we have to ride those whales who manipulate the market, and we have to consider this as an opportunity but we need to wise and mindful of what we doing coz we can never hesitate for any possible losses to come. There is no point to go against these whales coz it was impossible to stop them.
2722  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's a good time for bitcoin on: June 25, 2021, 02:09:37 PM
nice to hear, so many people are increasingly putting their trust in bitcoin and feeling optimistic about it. It is highly probable that bitcoin has succeeded in developing and continues to be in demand from the positives from it, I personally continue to favor bitcoin in this world, and believe in its value will be higher with the fluctuation.
People who are already involved in bitcoin for a long time ago believe in bitcoin and will buy more bitcoin in a dip.
They are not just buying but they also sell it to make money.
Bitcoin will still grow and reach more people from all countries and we will see the mass adoption will also grow in the future.
As long as people can learn more about bitcoin, they will get the benefits of bitcoin.
But people are not forced to invest in bitcoin if they do not like and that will be their choice.
People had to please themselves to come into crypto and invest in Bitcoin simply because of money/profit. Even we heard a lot of people saying Bitcoin is a scam, it will be dead soon, it never stops people from coming in. It is because it was not what they know about Bitcoin, what they know it has a brighter future and those who will invest will make a profit in the end.

Maybe, 10 years from now, half of the global population will use and invest in Bitcoin. And that it will include the increased number of establishments that are accepting cryptocurrencies.
2723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crazy Dogecoin run 100x in 2 years on: June 25, 2021, 01:30:19 PM
With all I've seen, I won't be calling it an impossible but its highly unlikely. Dogecoin has been gradually going out of fashion and people were just forgetting about it when the Tecknoking and the Imperator of mars made it famous again and boosted its price. Such price boost at the expanse of someone's endorsement doesn't last long and don't provide a long term resistance to price. With unlimited supply and costly mining process, there are many new coins and tokens that could easily replace what Doge's looking for.
"Return of the Dead" is what I call Doge.
Without Elon Musk's participation and shilling with this coin, I don't know where it goes or it was still hiding in the dark. But, whether we like it or not, Doge has made a great history in the market. Because of this coin, we know the true color of Elon Musks, and we thank that as early we stop following the person who manipulates the mind of the people and the market price.
2724  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why risk management is so important for Every Trader. on: June 25, 2021, 11:22:18 AM

Yes, if you look at the current conditions, the risk of losing profits is certainly quite large,
The risk never reduce, we are still in a high risk investment market, and that is the norm of crypto.

so we need to be careful and at least be able to manage the existing risks,
despite the fact that not everyone can do that because it's not as easy as we think
If we have the knowledge, we understand the risk, and if we understand the risk, we will be able to manage the risk.
Therefore, it's really a basic thing to understand crypto before investing, especially the risk associated to it.

it's true that it's very attractive due to high return, but always look at the other side as well, not only the reward.
2725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley on: June 25, 2021, 10:54:25 AM
~
Woodly isn't a pushover even though he's been out of the UFC for a while and I still think this isn't going to be an easy fight for Paul. Woodly is certainly no Ben Askren and has knocked people out with punches. Personally if I was going to be my money would probably be on Woodly, or maybe it goes this distance.
Tyron Woodley is not a pushover but he is on a loosing streak in the UFC and there is no doubt that Tyron Woodley is the most difficult opponent Jake Paul is facing in his high profile money making career and i am also expecting a good fight and the fight will take place at 190 pounds which i think is fair for Tyron Woodley.

The only problem is Tyron Woodley was explosive but for the past few fights we have not seen that explosiveness and he lost those fights and if he could regain that explosiveness he used to have then he could win against Jake Paul by knockout.

Yeah, but that's in the UFC and two of them were only losses on points. Boxing is a different matter. McGregor is also on a losing streak but I'd expect him to smoke Jake Paul. According to Khabib's manager McGregor will have to resort to fighting him eventually  Grin.

https://www.givemesport.com/1711131-conor-mcgregor-is-finished-needs-jake-paul-fight-says-khabib-nurmagomedovs-manager

To be honest, if Connor does keep losing I think he'll just resort to these cross-sport match-ups as he knows they'll be big paydays and much more than he's getting in the UFC. At least he can choose his own opponents rather than having to get Dana's blessing.

Conor has one more fight in the UFC that fans will like to watch if he loses vs. Dustin Poirier, this is a trilogy battle against Nate Diaz. If he wins this, I predict he will celebrate and announce his retirement. However, if he loses this, he will retire quietly.

A good way to celebrate retirement when you win the last fight and start with Jake Paul after it. He is still a money grabber, he can fill a dome of 20K people just to show an exhibition fight. Paul may not be a very easy fight for him but I think Connor has blood boxing skills, is very much accurate in the cage. With just a little training in footwork, he could stay well in the exhibition industry.

Conor loves big money, however, he can make it by fighting someone else. His team and Pacman’s team were talking already to organize a fight this year. However, Conor lost to Dustin Poirier which has caused Pacman’s team to back out from the negotiations.

It also appears no one knew Anderson Silva fought Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and won hehe. Who does everyone predict to win between Anderson Silva and Logan Paul?

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Dcza2eKTnfQ

There's another fight of Connor, it's already the 3rd fight and if he wins this fight, then we will surely see a Manny vs Connor fight happen. Both fighters needs to win, Connor to win against Poirier  and Manny needs to win against Spence, and there names will be hot again.
2726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why the martingale system sucks! (doubling down on losses) on: June 24, 2021, 08:56:15 PM
The belief in the system is that when you do it, you basically win back all your losses from previous matches so you are basically trying to gamble by just breaking even. That's what I don't get in this system, besides doubling down on losses, you only have one way in this system and that is as I have said, breakeven.

The system is not created for you to break even, you started an exact amount then double it if you lose until you win, that's the only process you have to do and you don't use any kind of system as the system itself is very simple to follow. However, is it effective? the answer is yes if you have an unlimited bankroll.
2727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley on: June 24, 2021, 08:45:58 PM

I grew up watching boxing matches due to the influence of my father as he is a die-hard boxing fan. Every fight, the family would gather and treat it as an occasion where our relatives would visit our houses and eat/drink while watching these matches.

To see that most boxing fights nowadays are between crossover fights from UFC fighters kinda hurts my soul. The spirit of competitiveness is just not there. The hunger of dominating your opponent and watching them fight to death (with actual tactics and techniques) are becoming obsolete due to the fact that most boxers tend to focus more on the cash prize than the actual title.

You can always ignore this kind of stuff if you really don't like their certain goals in making this event no one is forcing you to watch it and no one is forcing you to not watch it either, but again the Jake Paul VS Floyd Mayweather is come to fast maybe this will be a different kind of thing if you can give it a chance, we can never know if this could be a good kind of fight, or a very interesting one,

even though your interest in boxing is not in this kind of exhibition match there are still boxing matches you can surely love to watch and this kind of event is on a different level you can always treat it to non-existing.
This matches can't affect the boxing industry and they still have my respect, it is true that we always have a choice to watch, to bet or not at all since not all boxing activities we are interested to, most of the time we are just watching the main event since there's a money there. This kind of exhibition match are kinda trend right now, we might see more in the coming years.

It's been the trend because of the Paul brothers, but thank God we will be seeing some great fights in the coming months and I believe the trend will lose its popularity in the long run if they continue to bring boring fights.

Quote
This will be an easy match for Jake Paul, no doubt.
Could be, but that makes it boring because the fight is not competitive as most people are expecting to see.
2728  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what is point of Tehnical analysis? on: June 24, 2021, 01:06:51 PM
I disagree.
If there is no TA where would you get information on how the market "might" move.
It's a way of reading the movement basing on every possible history that Bitcoin passed through.
Yes, you could say it's speculating only but I'd take that rather than a bad "guess".
Traders used all their efforts to make it, and I consider it art even with how volatile Bitcoin will move. If they can hit a 70% chance then it becomes way cooler.
That becomes cooler if we hit the exact direction of the market but it was not. Though TA plays a role as a trader, still, we live in a place that never has the assurance to make it right. May some people like OP didn't see the importance of TA but for us who usually use this for our everyday trades, it becomes a vital tool to win over making a wrong/bad decision. It can't really be perfect as we know but at least, we are not making a wild guess, instead, we are close to the actual scenario.
2729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exiting altcoins at the correct time is the best thing you can do do with them. on: June 24, 2021, 12:43:22 PM
I liked your rule, Hold Bitcoin trade altcoins. I like to trade with altcoins but all altcoins can't give 2x, 10x or 100x. Some altcoins are good for short-term trading. Bitcoin is going downward so I think we will get good time for filling our bag with good altcoins.

If Bitcoin goes down, then in the long term alts will go down as well. Even the established alts remain heavily dependent on Bitcoin. And also, since many of these altcoins are purely driven by hype (I am not talking about genuine coins such as Ethereum, BNB or Cardano), when the overall cryptocurrency market goes down, their prices get affected disproportionately. IMO, the ideal opportunity to purchase altcoins will come in the next few months, but this is not the right time. Wait until the Bitcoin dominance gets to 60% or 65%.
Bitcoin rallying back above $30k, it feels more exciting to see that altcoins will have their way to rise again (that only if they are totally dependent on Bitcoin). To think about investing in potential altcoins this time will be the best (or at least) option. But of course, we need to hold as we can see that the market seems too slow to recover unlike when we are in bullish season.
I hold BTC and invest more in altcoins...I hope it works.
2730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ]: Fury vs Wilder III - THE TRILOGY IS BACK ON !!! on: June 23, 2021, 09:23:52 PM
~
Heard many stories that Wilder was training for long hours on a daily basis every day for the past one year and he was not even doing anything else but training and even changed his trainer and it is interesting to see what all adjustments he made.
Deontay Wilder might be obsessed about the rematch for the past year and may be trying his best to perform well and he is confident that he is able to defeat Tyson Fury and so is the reason he went to the court challenging the decision of Tyson Fury fighting anyone else and now he needs to deliver that and perform better but i still do not see any major change in the results unless he is able to land a lucky punch.

Nah, I don't think he is obsessed because this fight could have been over a long time ago if not because of his bad actions of making excuses why he lose in the 2nd fight and not so cooperative with the promoter of the fight. If you remember, Wilder has some conflict with bob Arum regarding the contract in this trilogy, that's why it was delayed, but now finally it was decided, so let's watch it so once it for all this trilogy will be over.
2731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: June 23, 2021, 09:06:59 PM
Anyway, back to the topic, Manny's age made him smarter, he understand that winning in boxing does not mean to KO your opponent, it should be done in a strategic way and that's why he is doing now.
True, it's because of the experience that he has gained with all of his matches. He's still pushing for a KO but that's hard enough for him if the opponent is also strong and tough. There's the respect that he's giving to his opponents, despite the highly talks that sometimes he makes during press conferences but it's part of gaining his confidence and not degrading himself. Sometimes it's just a lucky punch that's needed to KO someone but to end the match smoothly through points, he knows how to do it and that made him won with his other fights.

He is taking it slowly now, but in a consistent manner, if his opponent can't last long, that's where we will see a KO win by Manny, but I believe that is not his main focus, his focus is to win convincingly and to make himself safe at all times by not being careless.
2732  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop losses on: June 23, 2021, 01:21:53 PM
Just curious, do any of you set stop losses and recollect again later? Or do you just HODL regardless of what the dip is.
For me, it was optional and it depends on the trader but honestly, it place an important role especially when you are out of time to make a trade. I use this but not too often coz that never helps you to make a profit in trading but just only to save you from losing a lot. In many cases that I lifted my sell-order, I've just to think what if I just hold it while waiting for the market to rise? That is why I'm saying it was only an option but I'd rather have not used it if there is another way to save from losing.
2733  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How Bitcoin almost made me rich on: June 23, 2021, 12:54:43 PM
All of us have to wonder what we gonna do to our Bitcoin before when the value is just only $1,000, $5,000. Often we are saying why I never hold them until today we might be rich now. It comes too late to realize the wrongdoings, it all has been done and I think we need to move on. Because whether we like it or not, it never happens again and we can take back those Bitcoin that we wasted so easily.

People can't really hold their Bitcoin IRL, that is the truth. We use them as it was the purpose of its creation, not just to hold and let them stay on our wallets until they become worthless.
2734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lopez vs Kambosos - June 19 on: June 22, 2021, 09:20:20 PM

I don't think there some fishy going on regarding the postponements. Lopez was reported to have been contracting the virus so the next best thing is not allow him to fight, but give him ample time to recover. And they are not going to received any incentives if they cancel the original date. For those who have bet already, then they will just have to wait for the fight to happen. Maybe others will bet more, or just stick to their original bet, it won't chance a thing.

Lopez would never back down from his opponent, he fought Loma and won, he already proved that he is better than the champion that's why he is the champion now, if we look at the betting odds, we will understand that Kambosos has a very slim chance of winning.
2735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: June 22, 2021, 08:59:08 PM
Even if Spence happened to win it was simply unnecessary to say things like this, it is better to show what you have on the ring and then say whatever you want once you win instead of doing it backwards, lose and then he will have to eat his words.

When a fighter says things that he usually didn't say, that could only mean one thing, he might not be able to do what he says because he thinks his opponent is more superior to him so he wants to destroy it through words first then in the right. But anyway, it's just my own speculation, everything should only be a form of marketing the fight as this is just a once-in-a-lifetime event for these great fighters, especially for Spence.

That's not what some people are expecting to see, they want to see Spence beat Manny so Manny could retire. He is a living legend but fighting a young and undefeated fighter, I think it has not been done by some legends before. It's still an exciting fight, the war of words really help to hype up this fight, and the style of Manny which is to keep silent is just great because that means he is focus on action not on words.
2736  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc down trend are started ? on: June 22, 2021, 12:57:51 PM
We are almost close down to $30k, I couldn't how is going to be in the next few hours, or we might just surprise that we are already below the $30k barrier.  Even I was very optimistic about the market but sometimes we accept that bull season has to come to an end. I can't put to such a conclusion but we can really feel that the entire market is declining upon seeing all coins are in red.
2737  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it possible to lose all your money invested Bitcoin in 2021? on: June 21, 2021, 09:27:08 PM
That's the basics of investing, it's either you make money or you lose money.

However, based on the trend of bitcoin, there's always a time that it will be bearish, but eventually, it will recover and the market will be bullish again.
you know what will make you lose your money, that's when you panic and sell at a loss, that's the simple explanation.

Once you invest in bitcoin, you need to trust its future and you have to understand volatility.
2738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: June 21, 2021, 09:11:45 PM
I'm sure not everyone will agree, but analyst only sees Manny's age as the hindrance why he would lose but in reality he has already proven many times that for him, his age is just a number, Take it from his last fight.

It's not the first time that they took that age as Manny's disadvantage so expect that the same kind of analysis will always be part of their statement. That's why I like to read an analyst wherein the criteria is based solely on recent performances, not the age basis.

If ever Pacquiao will lose, it should not because of his age but rather a credit for Spence doing a good job trying to dominate Manny at every round.

That's true, analyst should focus on the skills of Manny and not talk about his age as he has already proven that his age is not a hindrance. He would not be a champion at his age now if it is slowing him down, we are still seeing the same Manny, just a bit more careful and more strategic now on his style.
2739  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your trading strategies ? on: June 20, 2021, 11:41:33 PM
I don't have any trading strategy in an exact phase, what I only build myself is confidence and emotional control. Sometimes out attitude is a consequence of our actions, that's why in trading no one is to be blame but ourselves. One day, I almost made $10k for my tokens as an asset from bounty but neglected to sell because of wrong decision.
If I wasn't a gree person that time, maybe I sold that asset for good and probably used that money during pandemic days. But past is past and we need to move on then take frustrations as a best lessons to pursue life.
Absolutely, some traders become emotional and the reason why they can't decide the best thing to do. Somehow we realize that we are wrong but unfortunately, it was too late to think about it.
Learn from the mistake, that all be said but the truth is that, people will still be committing mistakes all the time. Yeah, it is really hard to correct our mistakes if still have been controlled by our emotion.
2740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 18, 2021, 08:38:54 PM
They need to repeat how they played last game 5 in order to win this series, putting Beverly and Mann gives them good defense, they should be there again to bring more pressure for the Jazz players, Playing without Kawhai, George needs to keep pushing his limits Clippers needs him to lead this team to win the series..

It's not only Paul George, but the whole team need that intensity for the whole 48 minutes, just like what they did the last game. They can't let the Jazz dictate the tempo in offense. Reggie Jackson need to score at least 20 more points to help George. Beverly and Mann to pressure Mitchell or Clarkson or whoever is hot on the Jazz.

They have a balanced attack on both offense and defense. I would say now that the Jazz is overrated for still doing the same thing over and over again. As long as Reggie Jackson, Morris, and George will continue to be consistent with their offense, there's no way the Jazz would win on the road.

The small ball play is very effective, they should stick with it.

This news : https://www.deseret.com/2021/6/17/22539418/utah-jazz-donovan-mitchell-and-mike-conley-both-listed-as-questionable-ahead-of-fridays-game-6

If Conley will play, things could improve for the Jazz offense.
