What the happening to Brooklyn Nets. They seems good on the 1st then there defense and offense become weak on second half. Irving only got 10 points on the last 2 minutes of the game. I believe they already give up this game 2 to Boston and planning to even the series on there home court. It’s my first time to bet with them and it’s so frustrating to watch them on this kind of performance. Hahaha

I was just asking myself the same thing. I watched the first quarter and a little bit of the second quarter when I was at the gym and they were looking solid. I came home and tuned in again in the fourth where they just completely fell apart. Kyrie can’t just being putting up only 10 points on 4 of 13 shooting. That’s just so unlike him.  They better they can win the next one and get Simmons back to help game 4.

Kyrie was taken out from the equation by the Celtics in the 3rd, he even barely get touches. And then they go up against Durant, putting up a good defense as well, blocking his shots, making him very uncomfortable.

And as we have been saying, this 2 needs to play very well for them to win. Sadly, in this game, they are just good in the first two quarters. The Celtics on the other hand, rally in the second half.

Indeed, the Celtics were able to make a complete rally and win the game. Glad for the Celtics that everyone was making their contribution, this time, they don't rely only on the production of Tatum and Brown, great game for them, hopefully Nets will bounce back on their home court and will even the series after game 4.
1742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty is taking another direction on: April 20, 2022, 02:46:45 PM
The term 'BOUNTY' refers to as a reward for some specific act, especially one given by an authority or a government. But this definition is taking another dimension because most of the project owner or BMs don't really care enough about bounty hunters reward(s). To participate in bounty now is good as wasting your time. How on earth can someone earn $1-2 for working at least five days each week in a month? Does that sound good to you? This is incredible! Something has to be done about this before bounty turn to scam in it entirety. What's your view, opinion and suggestions on this?
I know that there is a few bounties that have a decent reward but the majority are really turning into a scam and hunters get nothing. That I could say that the time has come that we have to forget about bounty hunting, they are not just wasting our time, we are helping them instead to scam people by promoting their projects in the forum.

This hasn't noticed by most and not even in their mind because the only thing they saw is the rewards. They don't care about what they are about to promote.
1743  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin's price stabilize someday? on: April 20, 2022, 02:02:30 PM
Of course, it can and it has that possibility, however, it can only do that after it makes some adjustments to how it works right now. Specifically, I'm guessing it will have to give ground on some of its (and users') privacy and decentralization. I don't see it working any other way. It can be done, but the core concepts of Bitcoin will have to be rethought
I never thought that Bitcoin price will even stabilized mate , Imagine that volatility will be stabilized ? is there really a chance ? i don't think so , instead the value will keep on hyping and dumping.
though In time when all the bitcoin being mined? then there might be some changes as the stock will be finally in market and the investors and users may evaluate how and why the value should literally go in different ways.
Indeed, it was hopeless to see. Even the government can't make it stop, the volatility of the market remains as it was. Let's say this is going to happen (stabilized), people were leaving as the truth is that this makes crypto become known and it gives curiosity to many. And besides, people had made their choice of Bitcoin investment because of its volatility that can help them become profitable.

Never had the chance and I never felt it was bad. Honestly, people are too happy with such trends, up and down.

Ginebra in 7 games. It would be better if we will see another Brownlee buzzer beater again to end the series but we know that the chances of it to happen are low but.. it can happen Smiley.

I doubt we will, if Meralco wins game 6, game 7 would not be too hard for Ginebra to win. As what we've seen in the past games in the series, when they lose, they always bounce back big time, so I think it will be over 6 points win by the Ginebra if game 7 would happen.

Huge win by the Pelicans here?

Does anyone see that coming betting on the Pelicans ML live?
Booker got injured and that changes the chance of the Suns in the game, Nah, this is not good for the Suns, Paul again is at the same scenario in the past.

I guess there was no one here betting on Pelicans ML, maybe there was some who risked that +9.5. I think the Pelicans is the worst team in this playoffs. But they did the unthinkable today. I lost my bet for the first time since the playoffs. I haven't watched the second half because I thought Suns will just bury the Pelicans further. Is Booker good for the next games? I hope he is just fine. They worked hard so much to reach that top 1 rank. It would be very very sad if Booker exits this whole playoffs.

Yup, no one see this coming, the Suns open up as -9.5 or -10.5 betting favorite and for sure majority put their bet on it. So obviously, I also lost, was happy with my 2 earlier bets because it's already a sure win specially Memphis over Twolves. Miami though has to dig deeper, but no problem with Jimmy Butler taking over the game.

It was unexpected that the Pelicans would win, Brandon Ingram has really turned into a superstar in this game. Even before Booker's sit, the scores are already close so we can really tell that Pelicans did a great job in game 2.

Quote
It's just sad and unfortunately that Booker injured himself trying to block a shot that result to the number 1 seed being upset in game 2 at their home court.

Hopefully he would return soon, it's so painful seeing the Suns making an early exit after having the best record this season.

I'm thinking, what would be the line in game 3 if Booker is out.

What about the Mavs big win against the Jazz?

They open up as an underdog +5.5 if I'm not mistaken, was able to get at 1.90 pre-game betting. But when the game was about to start the odd swing to 1.8x something if my memory serves me right. And what a game by the Mavs, down almost the entirety of the game but Brunson and Kleber do the damage.

It's very evident in the first game that the Jazz cannot dominate the Mavs despite the fact that they missed their star player. In game 2, everyone stepped up, especially Brunson who delivered big time in that game, they shine when Luka was out and I must say that this is going to be a long series.

Luka still has a chance to play in the playoffs because of what the Mavs did in game 2. Even if they lose the next 2 games, the series would be 3-1, but having Luka back in game 5, they always have a chance to win the series. And to take note that Jazz has a history of chocking, I woun't be surprise if they fall against the Mavericks.
1748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: April 19, 2022, 02:26:13 PM
With these odds, it tells that there will be game 7.

Looks like a sucker bet for Ginebra, but let's observe the odds first if it will move, if not then most likely Meralco will win game 6.

Quite impressive might trap the bettors who love to bet for Ginebra. It's really tough to bet when you are unsure of what the game

Might turn to, many gamblers will take that both handicap and money line is very tempting. It's also good to wait for the actual game and

assess if there's something unusual when both teams are already playing.

This might be a trap since the odds is very close to each other while Ginebra already have the lead and only 1 match to go. This is a very crucial game for Meralco so taking that low odds for Ginebra is not worthy to risk money. I still believe on high possibility of game 7 but my guts telling me that the game will be over tomorrow with Ginebra as champ on this rematch. They can’t find any answer to JB which is the main reason Ginebra keeps winning. He is so strong in both offense and defense. Simply in Filipino term “bayad na bayad” import.

That's why we have to be careful and watch the odds movement if there's any. If no odds movement, that means bookies are taking the bets from the public as for sure the public will be betting on Ginebra to win. Although this is only my speculation, but I've seen these kind of odds many times.
1749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto becoming centralized? on: April 19, 2022, 02:00:02 PM
Slowly but it seems that the access to cryptocurrency is going bigger again to centralized.
We all know that crypto is special because this is more decentralized, different with banks or other finances.
But further, it seems changing. CEX is getting bigger. More exchanges need our data and identity in order to access or use the platforms. Additionally, some rules and regulations also become the concern in all countries to be able to involve in crypto or not. and the regulation is also getting strict.
This is what I think right now
Although fortunately, we still have some trusted DEX if we want more decentralization.
There is one reason why the majority of the exchanges are now asking for our personal details due to the widespread scamming, a concern of many. They are apparently helping us users and their protection as well against these people. Whether we like it or not, the time may come that even DEX exchanges will adopt the system of collecting KYC.
We can't hesitate these changes as this gonna happen if these scamming issues will not stop. And that was the time the government will give 100% support to cryptocurrencies.
1750  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scammers are growing in numbers every day on Twitter, be careful out there on: April 19, 2022, 01:33:32 PM
I don't like people, this is why I will never give any strangers attention through Twitter, Facebook or Telegram, people don't have your best interest at heart their attention is always aiming for something they can derive from you easily or by force, im not saying that I can't get scammed but it won't be through fake links or fake mails, still we all gotta be careful.
Twitter, Facebook, telegram...Sad to say that social media now is already a den of scammers. We can deal with these scammers by simply ignoring them and spending no time talking/chatting with them. They will certainly be sending links as one of their strategies and once got fall into their tricks, we're done.
That is why we should be cautious in clickings links especially if this is coming from an unknown person or stranger, this is most likely a trap that makes us regrets it.
1751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: April 18, 2022, 09:33:26 PM
Game 7 will be in the philippine arena for sure, I hope this would come true because game 7 aways gives a great experience although the fans are rooting for one team to win, and that is the Ginebra San Miguel.

This was in 2017, a game 7 and the crowd total is 54,086

https://sports.inquirer.net/270206/game-7-breaks-pba-attendance-record-anew
For sure? Is that for real if ever the series goes on game 7? That's a lot of fans that would be cheering for both of them. I can feel how the crowd would be with that number and all of you are fans and cheering for both teams. It's possible to break or reach that record again if ever the next game would tie the series. I'm in between that Ginebra will be taking the game 6 and will be ending this conference as the champion.

That was the time when Brownlee was playing against the Best import which is Durham if I remember it correctly. He was strong and dominant, better than the current import of the Meralco Bolts, but in the end, it's still the Ginebra who won the series and that is because they have the fans that support them big time that night.
1752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 18, 2022, 09:08:02 PM
I'm taking the Raptors tonight.  I know they got pretty beat up but I don't expect Maxie to ball out with 38 points and going down 2-0 is not the way to start so they are gonna ball.  They might not win but I expect a closer game.
Same here, I think people are forgetting how good the Raptors are, just because of that one game dominance win by the Sixers, that should not change the completion of the series, if they will lose at least they'll cover, so I'm with you bro.

Quote
Watching doncic's status before I decide on that game.  Good luck tonight everyone!
I thought he was out, but per update he is doubtful, it's a good sign for the Mavs.

1753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How was last crypto bear market on: April 18, 2022, 12:25:34 PM
This question is for those that are here when bear market of 2018 stormed the crypto space, how doesn't it feel like? All those staking for perceive income makes sense at all? Or returns went so bad and makes staking looks like a bad idea? How does it felt like.
I feel bad remembering that time, the day was crypto is in doomed and many people become hopeless. But I was then feeling regrets for not thinking about the future of crypto as I was influenced by my emotions and selling my asset rather than buying more.

However, I wasn't going to compare it now. The market even looks better even during the bear season as prices never are that bad and worse trend than before. Honestly, I was glad to see the changes.
1754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: April 15, 2022, 09:00:29 PM
For now, let's leave the discussion about it as this thread is for Ugas and Spence.

Exactly, let's discuss other things after this Saturday's fight.

Below are some options, actually my favorites options as most of my boxing bets are coming from this kind of market. Betting on Spence via Decision is not so attractive but for me this fight is money on the bag for Spence but I doubt he could KO Ugas. Your thoughts.

Errol Spence to win by decision is clearly the best choice for this fight, however, are we not underestimating Ugas? Similar to Spence he has a jab that he can use intelligently, he has good counter punches similar to what we have witnessed vs. Pacman and he can also pressure his opponent in the ring. Considering that this might be a close fight and boxing is a corrupt sport, I reckon also gamble on the draw hehehehe.

You have a point mate, it is worth it to put a few dollars on the "draw" option, and the bulk of our bet will be in the "Spence via Decision win".

When Ugas fought Manny Pacquiao, I thought that the former is too slow for Manny but the opposite happened, Manny was the one who could not avoid those crispy jabs of Ugas and I lose my bet on that fight not because I underestimated Ugas but because of putting too much premium on Manny's fight against Thurman.

Come Saturday's fight, Ugas will be the old man, and the amount of money involve for the much-awaited Welterweight unification between Crawford vs Spence is too big then i think Spence will pocket the "W" here.

I haven't thought of betting on the "DRAW", but looking at the odds, that attracts me. I would consider putting some money on the "DRAW" result, who knows, if this will be a close fight, remath could be possible, and the anticipated fight between Spence and Crawford will be delayed.
1755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 15, 2022, 02:04:29 PM
There were rumors that Simmons could return for the first round. He's good at defense but I don't know about chemistry. It's probably a bad idea to let him join the team at this stage.
It's best not to insert Ben as of this time. This is playoff games already and for sure teams are going to foul him if the score are close to force him shot free throws and hopefully he can missed both. He will be a liability.

As far as I know, Simmons may return on April 25-29. It's worth noting that these days the Nets and Celtics will already be playing 4-6 games in the first round. So I guess Nash won't take the risk of putting Simmons on the court during such important matches. At the same time, I doubt that the Celtics will purposefully use the "Hack-A-Shaq" tactic against Simmons, even if he plays in the first round.

He was probably training hard to improve his FT shooting. They have the best trainer, which is Kyle Korver.
https://www.netsdaily.com/2021/9/29/22701369/kyle-korver-finally-with-nets-as-an-assistant-finds-his-first-pupil-nic-claxton

So definitely we will see some improvement from Simmons once he played, however, his defense should remain as intact as it was when he was still with the Sixers.

He needs that because if he cannot shoot well in FT line, the popular hack a Shaq strategy will be employed on him and that would make the game boring. I understand that every team's goal is to win, but using this strategy to defeat the opponent is so boring at its finest.

Even Howard has improved his shooting, so for sure he can improve under a good coach or trainer. Nets are not stupid to get Simmons in exchange for James Harden if they don't believe that they can develop Simmons into a complete NBA player. Let's keep our patience, we will definitely see him playing soon in the playoffs.
1756  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The reason people join bitcointalk forum on: April 15, 2022, 09:25:37 AM
Yeah you are right, most people are in this forum just to make money of it, the number of Bounty hunters in this forum now is just unbelievable. Like most people even think that Bounty hunting is the primary objective of this forum, and those who don't think will actually need to rank up to gain more money in the signature campaign.
For they think that the Bitcointalk forum is a good source of income, MONEY.
Perhaps, we can't deny the reality, those who often search for an online job might fall in here and see the great opportunity. But I think this was just all about earning money upon joining signature campaigns and bounties, we've also learned ideas, getting to know about cryptocurrency.

But I have some suggestions for you mate,
Instead of focusing on joining bounties and signature campaigns, it was also better to learn trading or simple investment. This perhaps gives you a passive income somewhat in the future if you were good on that.
1757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 15, 2022, 07:02:49 AM
This is what I meant because regular games is really different compared to the pressure of play-in and playing in the playoffs and the Hawks have already that experience so it's quite easy for them to dominate the young Hornets. Against the Cleveland Cavs, I'm still going with the Hawks.

On a contrary, I will go with the Cavaliers here and expect goods for them as an underdog.

I also like the chances of the Cavaliers against the Hawks. They have a good size advantage and hopefully they will not let the Hawks takes an early lead just like they did on the Nets game.

Just make it close or even they themselves take a good lead at their home court. And if the pattern holds true, (home team wins), then they have a good chance against the streaking Hawks.

I will stick with the pattern, and yes I like the Cavaliers here because they are playing at home. Bookies understands their chances that's why they are only +2 now, hopefully they'll not panic in this play-in due to lack of experience.

1759  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reaches maximum, target $80K BTC on: April 15, 2022, 04:36:55 AM

In my personal opinion I see it as a good time to invest a good amount in BTC and leave them a few months to mature, what do you think? Will they do the same as me?

BUY, HOLD, and SELL.
Holders will decide when to buy and when to sell. They put into consideration buying coins during the bear season or price correction, eventually, we are currently in correction status now. I simply say, "Just do what is in your mind", and you will never regret it.

The market isn't yet making an uptrend momentum, the market is still weak. This is an opportunity for us in preparation for the upcoming Bullrun which we probably expected to come next year.

Are they OK? Cool

If Bitcoin surges, shitcoins go up LESS, if Bitcoin goes through a dip, shitcoins go down MORE. Bitcoin is currently only a few percentages from ATH. Everything in this part of the bull cycle might be only for Bitcoin.
Indeed, They are just fine and stuck in my wallet for many years.
Apparently, I sometimes check on them to know if there is one of them got a market value in the market but unfortunately, there no new things to view, many of them are still $0.
Reading almost every posts? There are too much negative that had been answered here meaning that shitcoins really does not any value for long term? Just very few post above me that matters about positve things but majority says it even.
Maybe there is no much to talk here as my shitcoins stays in my wallets and will be there forever unless one day there will be a good value in outside.

I don't want to feel disappointed, I'm already aware of the situation that this really happens to shitcoins. I was just waiting for a miracle. lol Grin
