1761  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: April 14, 2022, 03:18:55 PM
Then those who created this rumor against Casimero is not doing it right because people are going to talk about it, so creating another hype for Casimero for which the supposedly people behind is hell bent on destroying his reputation.

Nevertheless, from the looks of it, the fight is going to happen and those rumors have backfired already.

Hoping also that this will be Casimero vs Butler as announced by Probellum and no more weight problems/issues for Casimero so that he will still be the champion when he comes home to the Philippines. The only thing that puzzles me is why Sean Gibbons is sending Sultan to England, in fact, he is already there.

I hope Gibbons won't ruin this fight and also hoping that Sultan was sent there in case problems arise and he could be the replacement fighter.

Those video that have surfaced in the internet yesterday in the channel of Quadro Alas that was saying Casimero was denied to his UK Visa and saying that Jonas Sultan was already there earlier this week to replace Casimero. That specific video was just a prank organized by Quadro Alas that he was cancelled because of the said reason, earlier today, Casimero arrived in Manchester, England.

That was like a delayed April Fools prank. Anyway, I'm happy that he is already in the country where the fight is scheduled to happen, he can continue his training so he can ensure a win and defend his title. The world is watching this fight, but I like him to win so he can give a good challenge to the winner of the Donaire vs Inoue fight.

Just less than 2 weeks to wait, I'm excited.
1762  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN will rise on: April 14, 2022, 07:21:11 AM
we know that 2021 is the year where bitcoin has experienced a high increase but also experienced a sharp decline, it can be said that bitcoin has fluctuated.
Of course, with a deep and impactful correction to date, it is certainly not profitable for bitcoin to be able to recover immediately, but will there not be another recovery?

I tried to summarize from some of the writings of analysts about bitcoin in 2022 which might provide enlightenment and can also predict;

snip~
Despite the current decline and market condition, many people are still optimistic this year. Of course, we can't just ignore the possibilities but we also have to consider the market demand that becomes a factor in its slow recovery. We never lose hopes, however, we can't also assure that this year 2022 is still bullish. I'd tried to look at the history and it was to find out that after the Bullrun here comes the bear season and this is what we have experienced now.

Of course, whales, and crypto experts are dumb positive about what will happen next but most of the time, they overly think about the situation.
1763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does staking even make any sense on: April 14, 2022, 06:48:36 AM
snip~

LEOS is not very popular, I'm probably the only person who took notice to it.

On twitter there are discussions about ADA staking which people are suggesting to  withdraw the ADA they have from exchanges to stop staking in centralize exchanges.
Half of the people I believe contradicts this position because staking on Binance for example gives them 5% than staking on personal wallet which is just about 2%.  The math speaks more when it comes to where to stake though.
Well, the thing is that staking become the preference if you wanted to earn more percentage compared to just holding it in your pocket.
I even imagine that 5% staking ADA is quite big enough as I'd sometimes staked 3% APY from the other coins. It was then to notice that APY percentage depends on the market volume and the popularity of the project, it was to see that less popular gain the higher APY compared to old coins. Like to see this kind of offering...

1764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 13, 2022, 10:34:30 PM
I managed to hit all 3 of my bets yesterday. Cavs with the spread. Nets to win outright. Then a multi-bet with the Nets and Wolves winning. I’m not sure who I’ll take today. Maybe the Hornets with the spread and the Pelicans to win outright. I feel pretty good about the Pelicans being able to beat the Spurs, but the Hornets game could really go either way in my opinion. I feel like the Hornets have a pretty good chance to cover the spread though as long as their young guys don’t choke under pressure. I don’t think they will.

Congrats mate, I think you are just a few who thinks that the spread can't be covered by the Nets because of the Cavs height advantage.

But in this game, the Pels are the favorite, but the Spurs young team can't be discounted, just like the last game, they've lost by they were able to cover the +10.5 against the Mavs at a good odds. So I might go with them +5.5 again.

Young roster but they have a veteran coach, I would not even hesitate to go with the ML as I have a feeling we will see the first road team to win in the play-in. However, if you are not comfortable with my pick, getting +5.5 is okay, that's the safest side.

Yes, I agree, this is a great match although the Spurs seemed to be undervalued here. IMO, what matters here is the coaching job, and since coach pop is already a Hall of Famer, I believe he has the edge in the coaching job and playoffs are not new to him. No all-star for the Spurs but they played well as a tema, chemistry is a big asset for the success of the team.
1765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: April 13, 2022, 10:06:56 PM

The first fight was really close, and we have to understand as well that it was a tournament, WBSS (World Boxing Super Series), and we have seen the best bantamweight that time and it was Donaire and Inoue. Donaire though fell short and lost, but since then Donaire has won a belt so this clash has more motivation on the side of Nonito to avenge his lost at that tournament and show the world that he is the best bantamweight in this rematch.

Overall it was not close because the result was a unanimous victory by Inoue, it was just that time Inoue was too careless and he was injured, good thing he knows how to handle himself and he adjusted in order to win the fight. I am seeing the same result in the rematch because of Donaire could still not KO Inoue, for sure he will loss again.
1766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrop in 2022 on: April 13, 2022, 11:38:45 AM
Though there are chances where an airdrop can have a value, they are very limited  Only good projects has it but they are very hard to find. Most people would suggest that you must try to find a reliable source of profit rather than relying on airdrops that would end up having no value.
I've quite hesitant to see them having an airdrop activity, might they're some but the majority are not doing any. That is why we could say that almost 100% of these airdrops today are useless, they are just consuming our time doing the task but the rewards are shitcoins.
We can never think that we get back last 2016-2017 when airdrops are valuable, I'd remember those days joining and earning decent income coming from airdrops coins.
1767  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you spread BTC to people within you on: April 13, 2022, 10:55:04 AM
In our store (cp repair and accessories shop) we're accepting Bitcoin as payment, its our own little way to spread the word to our customers.
That is still an option. Some establishments come to a strategy of putting signage that they are accepting Bitcoin and some Altcoins. I'd assume you are doing this as well for awareness.

Quote
But im only explaining to those people who are showing interest, like asking further questions about Bitcoin. Because I dont want people to feel that im forcing them to engage themselves in Bitcoin because I have past experience of encouraging someone then held me responsible after he lose his money due to scam.

It is really important to know their role and responsibility as a holder. Asking someone who has deep knowledge about Bitcoin will enlighten them and got the answers to questions in their mind. We have to encourage them to ask and give them a clear understanding of Bitcoin for this will be the way to rid their negative view against crypto.
1768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 12, 2022, 12:25:27 PM
The Cavaliers size makes them a tough matchup for the Nets who lack in that area. I’d be a little hesitant to bet on the 8.5 point spread. I do think the Nets will win, but I don’t think it will be easy. The Cavaliers are definitely capable of winning, so it isn’t a sure thing for the Nets. I do hope they pull it off though, as I really want to get a look at them with Ben Simmons on the floor and he’s rumored for a possible comeback for round one of the playoffs if they can survive the play in tournament. Hopefully they secure that tomorrow.

Great input, Cavaliers are an underrated team, so they might pull an upset here. Though I still think that NBA would rather want the Nets to be in the playoffs as they are a major attraction, so I'm thinking refs will be with them if they'll struggle in the game.
1769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 12, 2022, 11:39:17 AM
The sad part is he was not informed early until it was leaked to ESPN. Ouch! Surprises. Lakers management does love that.  Grin
Now the roster, we might be surprised too in the next days to come or before the season starts again. I bet they are going to overhaul that roster again and seek players that are younger. Who knows, they might be done with making a veteran lineup again.
Where would Howard go that will make him more productive and be back with 20+ minutes per game? I wish a team signs him up. It's too cheap for just $2.6M for an agile 37 years old.
He will be a great asset for this era being dominated by 3 giant players.

Well! that's just how it is if the management doesn't like the result of your hard work and you failed to give them the championship they wanted to further expand their profits from the Lakers merchandise and other stuff. The question is, who will gonna replace Frank after this season? I'm sure it will be a huge challenge for whoever it will be because they will gonna overhaul the entire roosters and they gonna trade Westbrook

According to the rumors Nick Nurse (you can find a lot of articles in Google) is the frontrunner for the next Lakers head coach. He could be a good coach for the Lakers with his experience in the Finals against a top caliber team like the 2019 GSW.
There rumors as well that Westbrook might be traded to Indiana for Buddy Hield and  Malcom Brogdon. That seems a pretty fair trade though.
The Lakers also have cleared Loul Deng's contract and they might be looking to rebuild another good roster. Well, I hope they'll resort to a younger talents this time rather signing a veteran.

Yeah, that was the rumor.
https://www.silverscreenandroll.com/2022/4/11/23020511/lakers-reportedly-targeting-nick-nurse-juwan-howard-head-coach-rumors-candidate-frank-vogel

He was once a champion, lead the Raptors to its first championship, so for sure he has the talent to manage the talented team like the Lakers.
Hopefully Lebron will listen and will not overpower the coach as that is the nightmare of every coach that has worked with him.
1770  Other / Off-topic / Re: An Unforgettable Day In my Crypto world on: April 12, 2022, 09:17:35 AM
Sometimes we got dragged by being greedy, we think that if we are lucky today it will still stay until tomorrow. That was wrong and we don't have to carry this kind of mindset, we just to be fulfilling enough to earn a small profit but at least it was continuous.
It was not wrong to aim to earn more but in a situation like this, putting all of your money into a single trade is risky.
I suggest getting back to the old strategy you have used before, that I think was more effective than the new one. And I felt bad hearing that story.
1771  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bear market every team will pump their own coin on: April 12, 2022, 08:31:43 AM
If they going to pump it then that would be for their benefit and not for the others. For example, a project with few developers might just send out some development out in the market just cause some hyper news about it.
Indeed. They will take action that could give them returns. Market promotion, using social media to expose their project is a way to help them known to the community, and much more if they use social media influencers.
Quote
Next, what people will think? Well if the team themselves are making good publicity of the roadmap then the coin might get pumped and they start buying a lot. However, team already has huge amount of coins in their possession which they can later sell off at high cost and pull the money into their wallets. These sort of thing might be happening with so many coins out their and intentions of everybody must be at peak like this. Since its all about money! You know its like, they share a little but get huge back.
Of course, the team will certainly think passive results while investors are taking the high risk. But I think this is not a good option, we should be careful investing in projects that have been formulated and run with hype. We'd supposed to look at its sustainable market design, not just the price.
1772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: newbie invest on: April 10, 2022, 12:21:01 PM
Actually, you are already investing the right and potential coin already OP. I think it is not necessary for you to look for another coin in replacement but what you need is to buy more or an additional investment.
Bitcoin, ETH, ADA, and Shiba Inu...these can be such a good choice as well, perhaps, the majority have them already. I guess you need sometimes to think deeply before deciding.
1773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are you preparing for bear market on: April 08, 2022, 09:08:52 PM
Bear market is also part of crypto market and i Don't have any special strategy. Do nothing with potential coins cause i know they'll recover. Just sold off unnecessary altcoins for stablecoin cause they always fall badly During bear attack. Then i wait untill the perfect time. then if i get opportunity, i use to buy potential coins with cheap and on average price, its easy to recover. That's it
There’s no need for a special strategy, just buy the dip and wait for the price to rise again before selling. I usually buy the top coins during bear market even if it takes long to recover I know its worth it because I’m invested with the good project. Bear market is necessary to balance the economy, every time the market goes up expect the bear trend next.

That simple strategy will work 100%.

You are right, buy the dip and sell at peak, that's the kind of strategy that although working is still not applied by some traders and investors. The main reason is that they don't trust the market 100% and that they easily panic. Regardless of how good their plan is but if they do panic easily, that would still not gonna work. Now that the market seemed bearish, I presume that we know what to do as we know the drill.
1774  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you using trading indicators? on: April 08, 2022, 02:29:06 PM
I am not using my indicator for trading. I just look for News like Hardfork,Upgrade,Marketplace, Game launch and other news of project and buy I'm rumours. This work very good for me and given me profit many times. Sometime I faced loss but profit ratio is high. For Indicator need time and I have not so much time to read and observe. My friends used indicators and they said they are making daily profit.
The use of indicators is optional, in fact, many successful traders don't use it, they are using their own strategies. News, social media, and Hardfork contributed changes to the market trend which is also can be made as a basis of what action we need to do next. Yes, sometimes we just rely on those things and see the importance of these things in making an analysis and honestly, they are more effective than these trading indicators.
1775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tron (TRX) Discussion on: April 08, 2022, 12:54:34 PM
Yesterday, Justin Sun tweeted "TRON 4.0 is coming? He wants to compare with ETH 2.0
What do you think?

I think that Tron 10.0 will happen before Etehreum 2.0.  Ethereum 2.0 is promised for like 4 years. Maybe more. They simply dont deliver on their promises.

You are absolutely right that Ethereum team never delivers their projects on time but to be honest there is no comparison between Ethereum and Tron. Ethereum has won the trust of Big and small investors with its reliable and most decentralized network despite its huge transaction fee. Tron is mostly used to transfer of funds but we don't witness much investment of DEFI on its network. Let's watch and wait how Tron 4.0 plays out.

I hope TRON will come up with something big so we will see a new ATH. TRON Struggles to break its current ATH in the past bull run so I would say that TRON does not gain a lot of supporters that time and therefore to show some results that is something big for the investors to get hype.

TRON now is still $0.06, if this project succeeds, $1 is always possible.

1776  Economy / Speculation / Re: Need more more to invest on crypto. on: April 08, 2022, 10:10:25 AM

Lucky those who have instant funds in times like this because they can just Buy directly without looking for anything.

They might and this gives an advantage to the rich people. But I think this is not the way we should think, it will just matter how we prepare for the future like saving money for investment. We feel regret and got missed the chance and that is because we don't have a plan either. I guess we have to include this on our plan so that we don't miss it again in the next round. We need to have a reserved fund, it was very important in all forms of investment.

1777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins To 10-100x This Year on: April 08, 2022, 09:05:15 AM

Although the forecasts of these experts are not always 100% correct, I understand that the simple fact that a youtube channel with millions of views suggests that the price of a cryptocurrency is going to rise...it is almost certain that it will rise at least for a few hours after the video is published.

Rise is certainly possible, x10, x100, but x1000 is quite impossible. Well, if we are expecting this to happen on our investment, we, therefore, choose coins that are naturally created for having a purpose, not those in hype nor it was a dump and pump coins. These YouTube influencers and social media, are meant to have a huge impact on the market. More people had even going to believe what they say and that is why we can't deny that many of these people had also suffered losses. We need to be careful following them, a piece of friendly advice.
1778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 08, 2022, 08:13:40 AM
I'm taking the points on the Grizzlies +4.5 this team continues to impress me while the Nuggets are somewhat pressured to win I still think they can lose straight up against the Grizzlies. Even if the Grizzlies have nothing to play for they still continue their winning ways and I think it'll continue since the Nuggets have been struggling at home. I just think there's way too much value on the Grizzlies as bookies tend to give a lot of credit to teams that have some stake on the line.
Sorry for that loss, it looks like Denver are really serious on winning the game and they beat Memphis by domination. Jokic with another big performance, double-double again and leads the team to this good win, hopefully, they will carry the momentum in the playoffs.

Nuggets is just making sure to win all there remaining just to avoid on an awkward spot on play-in. Nuggets and Timverwolves standings is so close which is very crucial right now because no one wants a do or die match before the playoffs start. Consider Nuggets as the most serious team right now to win due to there spot. I will go for + handicap with them whoever they opponent is on there remaining game.

Of course, it's not good if they'll be in the play-in as there's always a risk that they will lose, unlike in the playoffs where it's a best of 7 games. I think after that win they already clinched the playoffs. I hope Jokic will remain healthy, he is very important in the game, and I hope he'll have more patience in the game.
1779  Economy / Economics / Re: Thailand ban using crypto for payments on: April 08, 2022, 06:58:50 AM
I'm not surprised by the news because they are planning to build their own CBDC which some countries are doing. Bitcoin as a payment system may become a threat to their CBDC, so in order for people to patronize their own fiat centralize currency, they need to barred the popularity of bitcoin as a payment system by banning it.
1780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: April 08, 2022, 05:41:31 AM
^^ We can only speculate that a fighter can still fight and put up his best during his last performance. And with that said, we can see that Donaire has still the power in both hands as he was able to knock out his opponent and then get the belt easily. So for now, let's say that his age will not be a factor until we see him in the ring against Inoue. If he still has it, then it will be a good fight and he might have a chance to upset the Monster, if not, then he could be knock out in the early rounds because Inoue will be too much.
For Donaire to be able to win the fight, he must have a good look to counter Inoue and KO him, otherwise, he will just again lose in points because Inoue is more mobile and he throws more punches than Donaire. It's not an easy fight for Donaire but his win in the past fight should give him enough confidence to beat the beast.
