Fnatic- Three of their players failed to get their approvals from the US embassy to acquire their traveling visas.
Extreme Gaming- They forfeited their slot after failing to get a visa on 1 of its players. I'm not sure if this is worth it for them rather than having a stand-in. This means there are only 17 teams playing in Arlington. Or will Valve allows 4th placer Aster.Aries in the Chinese region to play instead?
Entity- Pure also failed to get a US visa. But the team already has Timado from TSM as its substitute.
And I am pretty sure that there are also other teams that struggled with their US visa applications.

Oh! he is given a chance to re-match with the opponent who beat him last time? I think this one here is likely we need to watch since both fighters already gauged each other's strength where they can take each other's punches that's why they even reached the final round in their last fight. Seems like we will gonna see some real clash in the ring with these two powerful punchers and might be their last chance to show us some rivalry fight. There was a rematch clause in the contract if Jerwin lost. After the fight, I wanted Jerwin to activate the rematch clause right away. But after the fight, Jerwin's camp already mentioned not to exercise the rematch clause because they needed to move up in weight. So this is surprising to me, but I am happy. If Jerwin sticks to his normal fighting style then he should win this rematch. He should stop brawling because he is naturally a technical fighter. If he wants to entertain his fans, he rather develops more movements, more pop to his punches, and works with his combinations. There are too many good names in the division for so many years and it is sad that Jerwin never fought at least one of them. People thought it was Bob Arum's fault but then it is a fact that Jerwin now with Al Haymon still fought zero big names in the division. |

Teofimo Andres Lopez is moving up the weight class, pretty much it is a hard time for him from that Kambosos loss, and his fighting the undefeated Pedro Campa, even though Teofimo Lopez has a ton of experience in boxing but he is still 24 and Campo is now 30 I think he still got the fire in getting into a hard fight and I don't really want to say that Pedro Campa is an easy target starting in the super lightweight division but I think that is what Teofimo Lopez was was thinking choosing this fight,
Well, Pedro Campa has the slight reach advantage but I can not say for sure if that is an advantage against Teofimo Lopez, and for this fight, I think I can say is because of that experience inside the ring maybe Teofimo Lopez could have the upper hand but I will look even further on to Pedro Campa because I am not that familiar with his fighting style and his movements, so will be back on this and the fight is still on August 13, so there is still time, Yeah, mate. And I hope Teofimo will get knocked out against Campa. Teofimo and his dad keep talking about getting a shot at former undisputed champ Josh Taylor or they deserved to fight for the vacant belts left by Taylor but they fighting Campa who's not even in the top 10 in any major boxing organizations. If Teofimo is that confident and serious about getting a title fight in this new division then he should've fought a ranked 1 or 2 or at least in the top 5. On the other hand, I saw Campa's last fight and he is a decent opponent that should've been ranked in the top 10. I say he can be knocked out by Teofimo but he can also pull the upset if he got the confidence. Campa should not respect Teofimo and let his hands go to boost his morale. |

Is Bivol interested in having a rematch with Canelo? After their fight, Bivol told in the interview, that if they meet again, he will ask for a much, much more "interesting" offer. Google say, that Bivol got 2 millions and Canelo 15. I believe their second fight will happen, if their promoters will find a balance between lowering Canelo reward and increasing Bivols. But I think Bivol is more interested in obtaining new titles, than earning. I find it common for eastern European boxers to seek glory and legacy rather than money. Bivol preferred a unification war against Beterbiev to unify all the 4 belts. The same with Beterbiev, he also wanted to fight Bivol. But Bob Arum said there is no money for this unless DAZN allows ESPN (Top Rank's network) to televise it solely. Canelo got a rematch clause with Bivol. Although Bivol already said that he will give Canelo the rematch but only at light-heavyweight and not at super-middleweight where Canelo is the undisputed champion. Bivol probably got $2 million as his first payment but it should be around $5 million once PPV buys are all collected. Canelo should earn around $40 to $50 million although I am not sure how Matchroom and DAZN can pay it when reported PPV buys were only 550,000. |

That will have an effect emotionally on a player that if teams show interest to trade you, it will be a distraction playing with that team now. Jaylen Brown might be on that condition now but he has to understand that everything is business no matter how good the player is on that team and shows loyalty. And Jaylen Brown is a silent type of player. I think he is deeply emotional and this ongoing trade negotiation affected him mentally. I love Jaylen and I'd been saying before that he is the most efficient player in Boston. I hope he's got the right people around him and he can understand things from a wider perspective. But for let's say that rumor between Nets and Celtics pushes and Tatum stays on the team, what in world the Celtics is doing. I don't see that the Tatum-Durant duo will be effective in the long run. And besides, the current Celtics are not used to having a solo main player that always does isolation plays to make scores.
The Celtics are working as a team and Durant's playing style is not a fit for them. Boston Celtics' offer was already rejected by Brooklyn. Brooklyn wants some more future draft picks and Smart. But maybe they continued their negotiation. Celtics management is confident that KD with Tatum works. Personally, both KD and Tatum are good team players so I'm good with it. And for some years I'd been thinking that Jaylen will forever become second after Tatum if he stays forever loyal in Boston, especially in his prime years. I always think of Jaylen as the Harden in OKC days. Maybe he will grow as a better person and a player once given the chance to lead a team. So there is nothing Bob Arum can do. If Arum cannot guarantee good money on Kambosos, then the latter can simply reject it and then freeze Haney's career where Top Rank already invested. As for Haney, he will not care about entertaining the fans and will only focus on winning either boring or not because he knew that he is fighting in Kambosos' backyard with the possibility of getting cheated. Kambosos is the one that needs to step up here if he wants those belts back. Besides, Top Rank has a lot of popular fighters it can match on boring Haney for marketing purposes like Shakur Stevenson, Vasyl Lomachenko, Josh Taylor, Jose Ramirez, and Teofimo Lopez. |

Well, changing styles is not appropriate to do now. There's no need for it and not even a necessary thing to do just to have an advantage. Both boxers reached their respective status because of their usual styles. What they do is enhance and improve it. In any strategy, the right timing plays a key role. I'm curious how OG, Fnatic, Alliance, Team Liquid, Team Secret, and Nigma Galaxy got their invitations. Were they just directly invited or what? Some top teams like Team Spirit, LGD, RNG, and Tundra seem like they didn't participate. Maybe they felt it is unfair for them to play in the qualifications while some teams that are weaker and with lower DPC got automatic invitations? |

^^Well that's what we fans are seeing it, Spence is afraid to face Crawford and get his first lost. Because him or part of his team keeps delaying it. And then goes to the public saying otherwise, but then Crawford will contradict all they said. So we become so frustrated with him not making the promises after the Ugas fight that he will fight Crawford for the unification before his desire to move up in 154 lbs to chase more money against Charlo. It could be envy and jealousy on Spence's side. Because if Crawford wins the undisputed belts, he will become the first 2 division undisputed champion in this 4-belt era. And then Crawford already mentioned before that he wants Spence ASAP so he can move up again and fight undisputed champion Jermell Charlo. Now imagine if Crawford beats Charlo too? That would be a hell of an achievement. That would make Crawford a 4 division lineal champion and the first ever 3 division undisputed champion. Although Charlo (a close friend of Spence) earlier already said that he will not give Crawford the shot. But Crawford is the welterweight WBO champion and can exercise a mandatory on any WBO champions. So most likely Charlo will just vacate the WBO belt to block Crawford's legacy attempts. |

Riyadh Masters group stage is over with Team Secret and OG getting the top spot of their respective groups. Team Secret is still proving to be very strong, losing only 1 game to Team Spirit.  I do not have the odds yet, but it is very interesting to watch these teams battle it out in the playoffs. I think LGD and Team Spirit will move on to the next round but will see how the odds are before I make my bets. And with Team Liquid going home as I personally never expected it but I did expect that Nigma will perform well and they might take down PSG and move into the finals as I they want a revenge game with OG for sure if they pass PSG. This should not be surprising at all as Nigma has massive talent into their team and a trophy is what Nigma is looking for a long time but Secret might just steal it all because they play nothing like they played 1 or 2 months ago  I think LGD or OG, and Team Spirit got this. I'm a bit sad that the group stage has to come to an end. No more Deboosters' game.  I had several small wins on Deboosters' games. It was fun and very funny. The Saudi Arabian team was like a bonus in this tournament. They were completely destroyed. I haven't seen all their games but it was a complete disaster for them. I remember when I was in college with my friends and a team competing in various tournaments in our city asked us to play against them for their practice. We were badly outplayed, we even had a hard time assembling our second items after our boots. |

 So Top Rank's Bob Arum failed to persuade George Kambosos to face another opponent before demanding a rematch with undisputed champion Devin Haney. George Kambosos officially exercised his rematch clause against undisputed champ Devin Haney. The planned date is on October 15 at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne. It is the same venue as the very popular Australian Open (tennis). I think the first fight was very boring and Haney clearly outscored Kambosos. I think it will happen again. But maybe the difference is that Kambosos will let his hands go right after the opening bell. Despite the boring first fight, we better expect another sold-out crowd as this is once in a lifetime experience in Australia. People will still go for sure. It is probably the PPV buys that will take a hit. Unless they both can promote this fight well. Haney is a boring trash-talker though but a mad Kambosos isn't. |

I'm glad I am not seeing too many Lakers and Westbrook trades recently. The main attention now is on KD and Mitchell. Whoever takes these 2 superstars in exchange for a lot of future draft picks will play major roles next season. Mitchell though is not that good defensively but he is young and is still learning. And KD when put in a good chemistry team can still play at the top level.
So far I'm hearing the Miami Heat is on the move targeting either KD or Mitchell. I hope the Heat acquires either one of them.
And there's the Phoenix Suns trying to capitulate aging CP3, who's still playing at the top level. They might sacrifice a lot of its future draft picks for a ring which I also agree.
