Just for discussions and ways to educate or share knowledge with ourselves when and how to draw the line when gambling, because for some reasons, some gamblers have arrived at unstable realities because of the lack of stoppage time while gambling so let's talk. When do you stop? Some stop gambling immediately the record a big lose, while others continues when they lose with hope of recovering. Some other gamblers stop playing when the win they first few games, while other continue to chase the loses, and technically ww can tell in accuracy when this things happens, but when is the best time to stop gambling and take a break?
1-when you lose? 2- when you win?
I set up my break when I reach the amount that I am aiming or I loss the amount that I deposit. Before I gamble I would set up an amount and when that amount has been reach I would stop and take a break. If the amount that I deposit has been loss then I would also stop and take a break, I wouldn't deposit again in order to gain back what I loss. This is also the reason why I only gamble what I could afford to lose, so that I wouldn't regret losing it and I wouldn't force myself to win it back.

I also lost money because I lost on gambling, but maybe not that much. But I know there are people who spend a lot of money for gambling. In your opinion, what should we do if we have lost a lot of money on gambling? Do we keep gambling to win so we can cover up previous losses? or stop and work normally and leave gambling? Or do you have other suggestions?
Whenever I lose a huge amount of money from gambling I would take a break for a while (couple of weeks or months). I don't try to risk more just to win back some or recover, it would only make it worst. Whenever I deposit money to gamble, I already accept the fact that I could lose it all. Gamblers also need to accept the risk or losing, it wouldn't always be profitable for gamblers, we couldn't win all rounds in it.

When did Bitcoin died? Everytime that Bitcoin drops down in the past people would tell this to create FUD for the newbies, but let's be honest here Bitcoin never died it just had its ups and downs. For me it is normal for every assets or currency to drop down from time to time.

People need to cash out during covid to survive not everyone could hold their investment at that time. And most of us who had been here for long are already aware of the cycle, Bitcoin has shown it from previous halvings. The price would drop so low and after four years ot would surely fly high and set a new ATH.

I'm just here to ask you all especially those who are newly investors to this bitcoin investment platform like me that WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH YOUR FIRST INVESTED FUNDS AFTER THE BULL RUN?
I will convert it to fiat and some to stable coins, wait for bear market to last and and invest back after a significant bear market. I will use the money I receive elsewhere for other things. But later I may prefer to use my bitcoin money to start a business but that has not come to my mind than to sell and buy back after massive bear market and make my children to inherit it. I would also convert them into stable coin like USDT and wait for the price to fall down, I don't want to start a business since I am already busy with my work and other things, also I don't have a place and idea on what business to start even if I have a capital to start one. I wouldn't take any from my investment or profit I would just reinvest it all in crypto again, since is still not enough to buy what I need so I would just continue to trade and accumulate more.

Hi,
As everyone knows the goal of betting is to get the largest amount of money , knowing that the risks do not change whether you bet a large or small amount, and sometimes the amount you bet with is your capital, and this drains you of your time and money, and perhaps your work and daily tasks.
Do you think that the benefits in gambling Worth the invest of your money and your time with knowing that your chances are Just 50/50?
Some of us gamble for fun or to relax, you should know that if you are playing gambling then you aren't invest, you are risking your money with luck. If gambling is taking so much time from you that it is affecting your daily life then you should quit or take a break. We couldn't really say if the profit from gambling is worth it if it is already taking up too much time from you that you couldn't even focus on other things.

How do we regulate our emotions while betting and how important is it?
Only few could control their emotion when betting or gambling, even in games like pro gamer or athlete we could see them lose control when they have a match. So don't expect it to be easy cause even those professionals couldn't control their emotions when they are performing or playing, it is normal to feel all that emotions when gambling.

Just don't look back at your gambling history and you wouldn't regret it . But honestly we choose to gamble with it so we should accept whatever happens to the price, it is what it is crypto price could always go up or fall down. If you don't want to regret it then use fiat to gamble, don't use your cryptocurrency.

Some people are simply idiots. But first I wouldn't believe everything I see in videos like that. Would that man have done the same if there wasn't a camera in front of him? Besides, how can we be sure that they are his life savings?
If they were his life savings, I wouldn't be surprised if he would soon lose them with one gamble or another, or with drugs, or something, because those who take that kind of risk usually end up in a bad way.
I agree with this, not everything that we see in the internet is true or real, some of them are just for the views or scripted. It would really be hard to believe that someone would do such thing, just imagine how long they saved it, and they would just risk it all in gambling? They didn't spend it on vices or gambling before why would they do it now?

One of the most important factor of a successful gambler is to know when to stop, most gamblers expecially the addictive type don't even know what is stop when it comes to gambling. So it's very important to; * Stop when your losing is now getting to you.
* Stop when you are now feeling as is you can't do without gambling.
* Stop when you have a big winning, by channeling the money somewhere else so you won't lose it back to gambling.
* Stop when you are not even winning at all, it's not your thing.
* When your losing is weighing you down, stop and restrategize .
Nice reminder, some gambler don't even know when to stop gambling. I just want to add up stop or take a break when gambling is affecting your daily life, or it is always on your mind even if you need to focus on other things. Believe it or not there are people out there who are like that, even when they are working their mind is thinking about gambling.

I don't think that I would do the same if I know or it is obvious that my favorite team would lose the match. There are other ways to show support, and I don't think betting even a small amount or any amount would change the outcome of their match.

There are gamblers who have great instincts and can forecast games that may end up winning the bet. But they are scared that they may lose. They dont trust their own betting predictions so they would rather go to a gambling prediction site to some daily betting tips.
So i want to know as a gambler that you are, do you feel following those betting predictions from those sites would favour us in gambling more than our own predictions? For me i trust my predictions and i have won more when i predict for myself than letting someone predict for me.
When it cones to betting sometimes it is better to listen to others prediction or perspective. Sometimes our betting in sports depend on our favorite team, we wouldn't consider the opposite teams strength or advantages.

Of course, there are many indirect victims of gambling addiction. Can you add more?
It is as simple as saying those that financially dependent on the gambler. The only people that may not depend on the addicted gambler but not happy about their son or daughter addiction are parents. I prefer ways to avoid the addiction than those that are indirectly affected. Yes the one who would be most affected are those who depends on the gambler, if they already have kids the kids would be the one who would feel the consequences of the addicted gambler because of thet would struggle financially. I agree that parents would surely be affected but not as much as the gamblers kids, sometimes they would even be made fun because of it in short they could also be bullied due to their parents gambling addiction.

👉 how do you view women gambling in your area:
I don't really care about it, I grew up seeing women gamble in our area, and I think it is normal. Gambling doesn't have to be just for the boys. 👉how do you really feel when you lose money on gambling? Do you feel bad or just lie to yourself that's it was for fun?
Of course I would feel bad, like it would come up to me that the amount that I've lost could be used in other things. But honestly there are times that I would really enjoy gambling so it doesn't matter much to me if I lose. 👉how do you spend your gambling wins:
Most of the time I would eat out with my friends or family, buy some things that I like. 👉how do you feel when people ask you for money to gamble?, do you gamble with debt? Or would you never indulge in such no matter how sure you are about the game ?
I don't get it why people would borrow or take a loan just to gamble, if they couldn't afford it then don't, we should only gamble what we could afford to lose so why would they even gamble if they don't have enough to support it. 👉Do you set rules or limits on how much you stake per week to control your addiction or you are disciplinedenough to know when to stop?
Yes I set up a limit on how much I would deposit to gamble, and a timeframe to stay out on gambling. 👉behind the mask of loving to gamble if you get rich would you still gamble or never again?
Yes, I would still continue to gamble maybe the difference is that, when I am rich it is more for fun not for profit.

Excessive gambling is detrimental to the life of a gambler no doubt, stories, facts and truths have proven this that they suffer a lot of pressure, tension, loses and frustration. I am also concerned about the impact of gambling on the lives of those dependent on the gambler like his immediate family(wife, children, parents and siblings). I have heard stories of children whose early lives were messed up due to the bad habits of gambling addiction of their fathers. A very recent one is one account in this forum which created a topic staring his hatred for gambling and backing his claim with same ugly story of being a product of a home where the father is a gambling addict. He stressed that it ruined his father and affected him disastrously. I know how painful and frustrating it is when your foundation its poor, and the negative effect is massive.
So I want to ask, between the gambling addict and his immediate family, who does the addiction affect the most?
For me the one who is most affected would be the gambler, that person would surely loss everything. His/her family, money, assets and almost their life, they would live on paying their debt alone, while their family could move on with their life after they leave the gambler alone, or start a new life.

The game of luck that is involved in gambling, is it the one of individual grace which attracts goodwills? Or it is by the days the gamble decides to remember you and then gives you the chance (s) winning?
I brought this up here because last night I went visiting a friend in his house and getting there, he was busy concentrating on his phone which I knew nothing about what he was in there doing. He pleaded with me to be patient a little so he could finish up what he was doing and I said okay, go on and don't even stress yourself hurrying because of me.
He went silent at me for over 10mins and finally, it was the casino game tha he was busy playing. The next thing he said to me was... Mate, let's roll out to the mall, I am taking charge of your bills tonight. It was like a joke and we both went shopping and he paid $800 of my bills. Guess what fellas, he said he won $13,980 in his casino bet while I was in his house. He claimed it was by my grace of goodwills and positive energy that attracted him that luck to win so, he don't mind having me 10% of that winning because he can't remember the last time he won a bet.
I don't really believe this dude because such grace has not even worked for me although some of my physical trader friends sometimes says they have more customers anytime I comes around their trading centres and they love having me around.
Does this really happen a reality or it is just some sorts of mental reasoning fellas?
As title said it Game of Luck it seems like it was just a superstitious belief. Maybe your friend just got lucky when you were around and he believes that it was you who was his lucky charm at that time. But for me it is just luck I don't think any superstitious belief would affect it.

Not everyone would be happy about success, some would be jealous of it. It is not just in gambling but in general, there would always be different point of view when they see successful stories, some would take it as an inspiration, and others would take it as bragging.

Investing into Bitcoin is good and for the time being, we can actually make a ten year speculation on the fact that it will still remain a valuable and profitable investment but the question here is;
Is it wise and realistic for someone in his early twenties to set up Bitcoin as a retirement plan such that he continues accumulating Bitcoin from this time till he gets to his retirement age?
For me it is a good retirement plan, we only need to have a complete access to it remember not your key not your coin. If you're at your early twenties and you are investing or accumulating Bitcoin (Crypto currencies) as your retirement plan, you should do it on your own wallet that you have full access not on trading sites or online wallets provided by 3rd parties. And if anything happens to crypto before they even retire they could just sell it all of and invest in other things, we couldn't be so sure that crypto or Bitcoin would still be strong at their retirement age if they are only at their early twenties.

It is a great win, most people would be so excited to know the result of their bet, but then there's people like you who would just put money on it and forget it. It would also be great in crypto investment since you wouldn't be swayed by FUD, whenever there would be a negative news on crypto. This is how investor should HODL their crypto investment, only invest what you could afford so you wouldn't really care much about it.

~snip~ The only down side I have experienced is the price volatility of Bitcoin. This has a huge effect on the business, because you need cash to run the business. Do you convert to fiat immediately or do you hodl the crypto payments you receive? If you choose the latter, how do you keep record of your actual profits? For me, I save my money in USD because of the unstableness of the naira. Accepting crypto payments has been of great benefit to me, crypto doesn't have an off-day like the banks do not work on weekends and the network on weekends are usually terrible, crypto payments saves me the bank trouble.
Advice
You don't have to know everything to begin, just start. When I started, I used electrum wallet to receive payments. Then I got to know about lightning network, which I adopted. I have recently become acquainted with a crypto exchange in Nigeria. I'm considering a deal to create a merchant account with them as a payment gateway.
Price volatility is the risk we should always consider when we are dealing with crypto currency. It could be good or bad on our business, we could earn more or loss some of our earnings. We should also consider the transaction fee cost for our customers. But great job to you OP on having a huge success, it has been a year and you are still keeping it up.
