Today match DD vs CSK, again CSK won by 13 runs.

CSK seem to be muscling their way to victories, with their strong batting line ups. They scored 211, their third 200+ score in this IPL. Delhi managed to come within 13 runs of their score. The good batting of Dhoni and Rayudu at the end probably made the difference.
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: April 30, 2018, 07:31:08 AM
An appeal to byeball creators / tony : Why don't you urge cryptopia to get issues about bytebal alright? After all you have paid fine sum of money to get it listed, but listed for what?

So that they can hold up your hunders of dollars of Cryptos and manipulate the market?
Either they are incompetent or scammers, in either case they should be booted by the public

I think we should look beyond Cryptopia and Bitteex. Every effort should be made to list Byteball at exchanges like Binance. Having a fiat ramp is fine, but why should you ignore the most popular crypto exchanges. It might cost money, but that can come from the undistributed funds. It would be worth it.
283  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-04-28] St. Louis Federal Reserve says Bitcoin is 'Like Regular Currency' on: April 30, 2018, 07:15:33 AM
The intrinsic value argument is bogus and we all know it. Forget about other fiat currencies, even in the case of gold its intrinsic value (for jewellery or industrial applications) is very low. People have stopped using the intrinsic value argument because they are on a very weak footing.
284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How will Blockchain play a part in the Third Industrial Revolution on: April 28, 2018, 09:04:08 AM
Innovations like the steam engine affected almost all industries. The blockchain may be innovative, but I don’t see it having such a far reaching impact. So the claims that it may cause yet another industrial revolution seem premature to me.
285  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-04-28] Court Orders Chilean Banks to Re-Open Crypto Exchange Accounts on: April 28, 2018, 07:16:07 AM
This is indeed heart warming. The feeling that was given out until now was that the establishment - governments, regulators, banks, courts, were all ganging up against innovation. If a Chilean Bank indeed asks banks to re-open accounts, then it is good news. The banks might still find ways to sabotage this (For Eg - Charge unreasonable fees), but they will know that the exchanges might decide to go to court again.

Down to 102nd place on coinmarketcap  Cry

This is real bad news. It was expected, but I still hoped that we wouldn't be pushed out of the first page on Coinmarketcap. A lot of people (especially newbies) will just not go into the second page of coinmarketcap. Some steps must be taken to arrest this slide.

Today match KKR vs DD,

KKR won the toss and opt to bowl first, DD made some changes in the team previous captain Ghambhir is not playing today, Colin Munro and Prithvi Shaw started well DD scored 107/1 12 overs completed. I think today DD will put a big score on the board. maybe DD will win this match.

Man DD won this match comprehesively with 55 runs after scoring a huge total of 220 Runs...and when KKR lost 3 early wichets for just 33 runs i think they lost the match at that moment and only formality was left...a complete performance by the DD

Shreyas Iyer was the difference between the 2 teams in this match. Shreyas Iyer scored 93 of just 40 balls, propelling Delhi Daredevils to a huge total of 219. The decision to drop Gautam Gambhir has paid them rich dividends. Kolkattta could never get their innings started. It is always difficult when you are chasing such a huge target.
288  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-04-27] New Party in Ukraine to Fund Itself Only with Cryptos on: April 27, 2018, 07:12:20 AM
A newly formed party in Ukraine has vowed to rely only on cryptocurrency contributions to sustain its activity and never to accept money from the oligarchs. Weakening state control over economy and expanding civil liberties are among its main political priorities. The party wants to protect the interests of people and companies from the IT sector, as well those of small and medium-sized Ukrainian businesses in other industries.

Serious Ideas, Funny Faces

Several prominent Ukrainian bloggers have announced the formation of arguably the world’s first political party which will fund its activities exclusively through crypto contributions. The new right-wing, liberal political force, called “Democratic Horde”, intends to achieve its political goals mainly through Internet trolling, as stated on its website.

Read more: https://news.bitcoin.com/new-party-in-ukraine-to-fund-itself-only-with-cryptos/

This seems more to be a joke, rather than an attempt at political reform. They say the political party will not accept funding from the oligarchs, but will rely on cryptocurrency donations. How on earth are they going to verify the source of each transaction. Plus the internet isn’t the place to fight every real world battle.

Today match between SRH vs KXIP, Punjab won the toss and bowl, SRH fall first wicket and this match will be low scoring and mostly it will get chased easily. Punjab is going to win the match as SRH struggles against spinner and they will throw the match easily
Another low scoring win by Hyderabad Sunrises bowling is doing great job for them and they can defend any score right now today as KXIP start inning I was sure they will win very easily but again SRH very good in defend if KXIP want to do some good in this IPL 2018 then surely need to improve fielding because 4 drop catches never been acceptable in this type games

Hyderabad seem to have one of the best bowling line ups in the IPL. To continuously defend low scores is not easy. They scored only 132 runs while batting first, but managed to defend it, thanks to Rashid Khan and Shakib.Al Hasan. The Punjab bowlers must be wondering what more can they do to win matches.
290  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-04-26] Tom Lee Would Put “Fresh Money” into Bitcoin Instead of Bitcoin Cas on: April 26, 2018, 08:51:42 PM
With the transaction spam dieing down and the scalability doomsday sayers proven wrong for now, Bitcoin Cash has lost its USP. It is no surprise that people prefer Bitcoin for fresh dollars. If you want to speculate, there are hundreds of other altcoins for you to do so. There is no reason to invest in Bitcoin Cash.
291  Other / Archival / Re: Is there is any chance to hit Bitcoin 11k ? on: April 25, 2018, 07:07:03 AM
Bitcoin is now on up trends . What you think , Bitcoin will hit 11k by next week end? I think so . At least Bitcoin  should cross 10.5K by next week.

Next weekend is too aggressive a target. We shouldn’t judge every price movement by the bull rally of 2017. That only led to pain for those who joined in too late. I think a price target of $11,000 to $12,000 is a reasonable, but not greedy prediction.

Come to today's SRH lost 7 wickets just for 100 runs, I think MI will easily win this match.
It was an easy match to win for MI, but their terrible form is continuing and i wont be surprised if they do not win any matches from this situation, if i would have made a bet i would have being kicking myself, glad my phone is damaged so that i am not able to log into the site to wage a bet. Rashid Khan bowled really well after a few matches where he went for plenty of runs and SRH has the best bowling line up in this IPL and that got them the win even with a really low score. I think this is the lowest score defended in the history of IPL.

Mumbai must be kicking themselves for losing this match. It is not easy to lose a match chasing less than a run a ball, but Mumbai managed to do it. Sunrisers were missing Bhuvneshwar Kumar, but that didn't seem to matter. Rashid Khan and  Siddarth Kaul literally ran through the Mumbai side. Rashid Khan is turning out to be a good buy for Hyderabad.
293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: U.S. Regulators Send Tether and Bitfinex Subpoenas on: April 24, 2018, 07:12:33 AM
Presumably the results of the CFTC inquiry will be made public? Is there an estimated timeline?

Government agencies do not work according to timelines. If at all they are not satisfied, you will see sudden and drastic action. Tether has the potential to bring the entire crypto market down and we should all be aware of it. It is not the fed’s power but tether’s weakness that we should be scared of.
294  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-04-23] - India Divided on Whether to Ban Crypto Use on: April 24, 2018, 05:26:24 AM
They may be divided on how to deal with it and hence they have adopted the safest approach - do nothing. The RBI has been warning people about the dangers of cryptocurrencies for years and finally decided to force exchanges into a corner, by cutting their banking links. The government agencies have been debating for years...
295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: April 23, 2018, 05:00:50 AM
Today, Rajasthan Royals beat Mumbai Indians by 3 wickets. Awesome batting by Krishnappa Gowtham of the Rajasthan Royals at the last. 33 runs on just 11 balls, this was the performance because of which RR defeated MI.

Next one coming up tomorrow is between Delhi and Punjab in Delhi. Let's see what Chris Gayle does this time for Punjab against the Delhi Daredevils. Wink

Mumbai must feel that they have been cheated out of a victory by Gowtham here. When Gowtham came into bat, 43 runs were required off 17 balls. This is not impossible in T20 cricket, but Jasprit Bumrah was bowling extremely well. But Gowtham took the game away from Mumbai. by scoring 300 runs at a strike rate of 300! Mumbai have yet another final over loss
296  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-04-22]Bitcoin Versus Government Money: One is Clearly Superior on: April 23, 2018, 04:54:06 AM
Half of nearly all transactions involve money, a medium of exchange (MOE). For almost everyone, one of those halves has always been derived, considered, instituted by governments. Also known as fiat, government money, notes, they appear to us as inevitable, right as rain, plainly self evident. However, for the first time in a long time, those notions are being challenged by cryptocurrency.

Nealy half of almost transactions involve money? I would have thought almost all transactions involve it, in some form or the other. You can have barter transactions, but I doubt if they would be significant in the larger scheme of things.
The role of fiat is definitely being challenged, but we haven't seen the countermoves of the government. That will come in the form of regulation.

A thrilling finish to the match between Chennai and Hyderabad. Chennai have won their match against Hyderabad to go to the top of the IPL table. Chennai scored 182 runs, but Hyderabad were in the match until the last ball of the match. Hyderabad needed a six to win off the last match, but Rashid Khan could score only a single off the ball from Bravo.
298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's face it most powerful Cryptocapitalists are Tether founders on: April 22, 2018, 06:26:01 PM
Tether may be the most stable of the currencies, always maintaining their dollar parity value.

Is it really the most powerful? I think you have to look into Tether a bit more to understand that you may not want to put all your eggs into that basket. Also, why would you want to hold something that's only going to devalue over time? It's meant to be used as a transition currency, not really a hold. If you REALLY want to hold Tether, then just buy some USD.

People do use tether as a transition currency, but the question is for how long? If you plan to use it as a transition currency for more than a couple of months, then you are treating it as a store of value. There may be no reason to hold tether (except for anonymity, avoiding tax authorities, etc.) Tether is really Bitcoin's achille's heel.

KMD aren't investors. They used the airdrops to fund their own project... They are the dumpers
I am not sure about your information, so I will be discover about it later today after coming back to my home.
However, in most cases, airdrop/ bounty/ signature campaigns' receivers are dumpers because most of them want to take quick money. They don't care about how good the project they support/join campaigns are. They only want to sell coins to take fiats and go away.

You have clubbed most of the distribution methods of Byteball together as dumpers. Grin Plus you are wearing Byteball's signature as well! It doesn't matter if most of them dump Byteball, the positive thing is Byteball acquired a lot of users because of the airdrop. The novel distribution method was what set it apart from most of the other altcoins for most users. Those who believe in its potential are still holding.

The big guns that RCB have on their rolls finally seem to be clicking. Delhi Daredevils scored a challenging 174 in their alloted 20 overs. RCB managed to overcome it with ease, winning the match with 2 overs to spare. AB de Villiers scored more than half the runs required and was unbeaten till the very end. His 90 came off just 39 balls!
