2961  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Im happy to announce the official launch of PNNV.com on: December 28, 2022, 11:15:34 PM
My exchange is not officially live yet, i got only a few exchanges made so far.
Can I make one suggestion that could improve your statistics, give you more exposure, and get more people using the exchange part of your website?
Maybe think about contacting kycnot.me website and see if they can review your website/exchange, rate it and list on their website.
There is already ChangeNow exchange listed with rating 7/10, but you are using different approach and you are not asking for any KYC.

Listing request page:
https://kycnot.me/generator?type=Exchange
2962  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PNNV.com - Major update #2 - need your review, again! on: December 28, 2022, 11:06:49 PM
Thank you for your recommendation, and I'll research them.
There are more websites you can use but I am not sure how they work in real life.
I think that combination of more websites is better and that way you can lower your costs and use free API calls from various websites.

I'll try my best to make my website work on tor, but I need to adjust since I'm using JS a lot.
Price monitor is easier to work on Tor, but I am not sure how would ChangeNow exchange behave in that case.
2963  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Anonymous Crypto Debit Card | KYC-FREE on: December 28, 2022, 10:44:37 PM
I can assure you that we have years of experience using, handling and building on crypto, so I can brag a little that we are experts in this field.
Ok, let's see what happens in next weeks and months.
I am always a bit suspicious whenever new crypto related service appears, maybe because I saw so many scams that I can't count them all.
You will have to prove that you are legit, and I would like to hear experience from other people who used your cards.
I will consider contacting you for testing when you add Bitcoin.

We also don't use their service to directly accepted payments from users. Furthermore, we use our own internal relay system. That means user pay first to us -> then coins are sent to a 3rd party service provider (also called off-ramps) in order to exchange the coins to for example USD in real-time. However, the moment you send a payment, there is and will be always a check to verify that the wallet you used is not blacklisted by any government entity.
I understand, and in case received coins are blacklisted by someone, are you going to return coins to sender or do something else?
It would be better to make this checks BEFORE sending transaction.

PS
Is there any chance for releasing coinpaycard physical cards and shiopping worldwide?
2964  Economy / Reputation / Re: My Interview with Famous Hardware Hacker Joe Grand aka Kingpin on: December 28, 2022, 10:23:13 PM
Ever since the Trezor hacking video was released, I wanted to talk with Joe “Kingpin” Grand – the man himself. So, I reached out to him and asked if he was interested in doing an interview that would be posted on the Bitcointalk forum? He liked the idea, and the piece is now done after some back-and-forth.
Great idea Pmalek, and I am surprised he accepted it so easy, but hackers are probably not thinking the same way like normies Wink
I know there are a lot of people who never heard about Bitcointalk forum, and Kingpin was one of them, so it would be cool if he can make a youtube video about this conversation.
It's free promotion and it would be even better to see him registering in bitcointalk forum and talking more about hardware wallets in his free time.
2965  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Anonymous Crypto Debit Card | KYC-FREE on: December 27, 2022, 08:25:55 PM
So if you have stolen coins in a wallet that is blacklisted, no matter what service or website you will use. Your funds will not come true. If you have coins from gambling or mixing, who cares. You can use these coins.
Please don't twist our words.
Binance and Coinbase obviously care about this!
Sorry but you obviously don't know what you are talking about, or you just recently started dealing with crypto, but I can show you many examples of coins being seized for reasons I mentioned above.
I am not twisting anyone words, since I asked initial question and I know what I meant to say.
Good luck with your cards, and don't say later that I didn't warn you about this in advance.

2966  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Anonymous Crypto Debit Card | KYC-FREE on: December 27, 2022, 08:12:13 PM
This question is a bit off-topic.
Excuse me but this is not off-topic at all.
Your customer would be sending coins to you directly and since you didn't mention anything about third parties on your website, they could lose their coins.
Exchanges can flag or blacklist coins for various stupid reasons, and they don't have to give any proof or explanation, this includes coins used for gambling or coins coming from mixer or coinjoin.
Better think about that in advance, or use some different methods to deal with this.

the coins will be frozen by the 3rd party handling our payments. What then will happen next is not something we have experienced, and I'm not sure.
Better be sure, because they are certainly going to ask for kyc verification or other private information.
2967  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Privacy wallets on: December 27, 2022, 08:00:54 PM
When it comes to privacy, monero should be your go-to solution. That's are tried and true. If you want privacy for other blockchains, I definitely recommend checking out the work going on at incognito.org. They are working on some great solutions to add privacy in a legitimate way.
If I understand correctly this Incognito stuff is neither supporting mainnet Bitcoin nor mainnet Monero, and it has some new shitcoin centralized blockchain with worthless tokens, bridges and other crap like that.
I wouldn't call that privacy at all, especially when there are legitimate options for exchanging coins with atomic swaps or using Bisq exchange.

Talking about privacy wallets, there is one option that uses Layer 2 Bitcoin statechains, and it's called Mercury wallet.
It's far from perfect, but it's one more privacy tool and developers are actively working on improving code and implementing Lightning Network.
2968  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Anonymous Crypto Debit Card | KYC-FREE on: December 27, 2022, 07:44:08 PM
3. If you send any stole coins, our payment processer will automatically block that specific transaction if that wallet is blacklisted. We are not a platform for laundering stole coins. Simple as that.
4. We use a variety of 3rd parties, for example Coinbase institutional  and Binance.
Let me clarify this, what exactly means when you say that transaction will be blocked if wallet is blacklisted?

Imagine someone is sending coins that originate from stolen coins and Binance/Coinbase blacklisted them.
Customer registers account on your CoinPayCard website and sends coins to generated address, what happens next exactly?
Can this coins be frozen or seized in any way by you or third parties?
2969  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Global Drug Conspiracy Used Binance To Launder Millions In Crypto on: December 27, 2022, 07:32:33 PM
A methamphetamine and cocaine gang operating across the U.S., Mexico, Europe and Australia used the world’s biggest cryptocurrency exchange Binance to launder tens of millions in drug proceeds, according to an ongoing investigation by the US Drug Enforcement Administration. Between $15 and $40 million in illicit proceeds may have been funneled through Binance, the DEA alleged.
This Forbes article is just a part of big propaganda machinery and it looks like they are coming hard for Binance exchange and CZ, but in reality they are coming from all of us regular Bitcoin users.
Only way they can control Bitcoin is with stuff like this related with price, shutting down of exchanges, creating panic and decreasing value of Bitcoin, and meanwhile increasing regulations and restrictions.
I recently watched a good new series with Sylvester Stallone called Tulsa King and they just mentioned Bitcoin being used by criminals and hackers, story about that is just getting started.
Bad propaganda is spreading everywhere, and that doesn't mean that criminals don't use Bitcoin, but they certainly use fiat currencies in 99% of time.

2970  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do you think that there will ever be an effort to boycott centralized exchanges? on: December 27, 2022, 07:16:19 PM
Do you think an effective boycott campaign against CEXs could happen? What do you think would be needed to do so, other than the manpower? Or do you think that the tentacles have wrapped themselves too far around the industry?
It's already happening and people withdraw record number of Bitcoins from centralized exchanges after collapse of FTX and rumors about Binance exchange
Problem is that most of the people don't know what to do next and they think that using decentralized exchanges like Bisq or other type of p2p trading is very hard and complicated, but they are wrong about it.
I would also like to see more simple dumb-down cex alternatives for Bitcoin trading and I think developers are working on that with Lightning Network and atomic swaps.
It's much harder to deal with all the banking crap but people still do it every day.
2971  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Anonymous Crypto Debit Card | KYC-FREE on: December 27, 2022, 06:53:21 PM
Few things I don't like about Coinpaycards from start.
First, it only supports USDT on ethereum network and that usually means higher fees and dealing with more shitcoins.
This is probably done because USDT is pegged to USD dollar, but I would like to see Bitcoin and privacy coins used, and some people probably want USDT on other blockchains, including omni chain and second layer Liquid chain USDT.

Second thing, I think that $99 to $499 fee for one year is to much for service that can shut down anytime, and there would be nothing customers could do, including getting refunds.
I already saw this happening with similar services that deal with anonymous cards, so there is realistic chance this could happen, and this competition didn't ask for any yearly payment for cards.

I would have to test and see how this cards work in real life, but this was my initial feedback after visiting your website.
I am also thinking about privacy and who exactly is tracking purchases and delivery addresses connect with that.

Few additional questions:
- What name will be written on card and are there any plans to make physical cards in future?
- What would happen if someone sends USDT or other coins to Coinpaycards, and they are reported to come from hacked exchanges??
- What third parties are you using to convert USDT (and other coins) to USD?
2972  Economy / Reputation / Re: 5000 good posts reported - we can all do it too! on: December 27, 2022, 06:30:11 PM
Its taken me a while but I’ve finally done it ! 5000 good posts reported  Smiley
We can all do it too, just report a few posts every day when you get a spare 5 minutes in whichever section you generally inhabit and we’ll soon see the spam, the off topic, the duplicate posts etc recede.
Oh but watch out, you could be accused for supporting ''censorship'' in bitcointalk if you report posts from certain sensitive individuals or terrorists Wink
My stats are much worse than yours and I can be lazy with reporting posts sometimes, but I currently have only 2521 good reports and I know this number can be better.
2973  Other / Meta / Re: BitcoinTalk censorship discussion thread. on: December 27, 2022, 06:10:02 PM
I do not have an opinion on these threads, though I think that we can all agree that bitcoin is more about liberty than it is censorship...
You created a topic so you do have opinion about this.
It would be the same like I said that I don't have opinion about you and than I write something like thsi:
So you just crawled up after two years of inactivity and you decided to write about censorship in bitcointalk...
Since your main thing in forum pre 2022 was selling accounts I have the reason to suspect that your account changed ownership, and password was changed several times.
Someone could dig deeper and research this but I don't want to waste time, because I don't have my own opinion. :/

You can't have forum that is totally free of censorship, or you can in theory but it would soon turn into unusable trash.
We had people who made threats, wanted to kill people, and they break all kinds of forum rules, so it's perfectly normal for people to report and for moderators to delete some stuff.
Someone who is promoting shitcoins and selling illegal stuff like narcotics can expect to get their topics moved or deleted in future, nothing wrong about that.
2974  Other / Off-topic / Re: Hackers stolen Last Pass users passwords and sensitivw information on: December 27, 2022, 05:33:30 PM
Hackers got Employees keys  , customers passwords, name, billing information,  email..
What the fuck! This is a password manager. How does this kind of shit happens?
And why do people share so much sensitive information (such as billing information) with a password manager?
I stopped using LastPass ages ago, and I am glad I did it, even if I never saved really important information there.
Most people use password managers as one-in-all solution for saving everything, and they trust ''the cloud'' aka other people computers  Tongue

Keypass and bitwarden are probably the best.
Is it Keypass or KeePass?  Cheesy
My vote goes for KeypassXC for desktop and KeePassDX for mobile devices.
Both of them are free open source and easy to use, without the need to trust same ''safu'' servers and websites.
One more plus for this apps is they all accept Bitcoin donations!
2975  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there any security risk of running a bitcoin node? on: December 27, 2022, 05:27:30 PM
Will my home network become a target for hackers if I run a bitcoin node or run bitcoin mining from devices in my home network?
I don't think it would be very profitable for right now to mine Bitcoin and buy ASIC miners, but in theory you could do it and if done correctly with cold storage backup nobody could hack you.

On the other hand, anyone can and should run Bitcoin node to help network and increase privacy in transacions.
You could use VPN for your node but it's waste of money unless you already have some unlimited vpn plan, so good alternative is Tor that is already free.
People are running nodes on old laptops, raspberry pi devices and recently I saw people who are doing that on old smartphones, so you can choose whatever you want and fools instructions.

2977  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Novosti on: December 27, 2022, 04:58:13 PM

2978  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SportsBet.io, Stake.com, Roobet.com and others don't pay me $158,000 due to me on: December 26, 2022, 06:27:10 PM
I'm trying to read real threads here with valuable information but members with the characters listed above are ruining it for everyone - when will enough be enough?
It will never happen probably, or this thing will exist as long as bitcointalk forum (and humans) is existing.
Most of this members are usually newbies and usually don't trust anything they are saying, but there is always smart percentage of real users that could have real issues with some websites.
Tricky thing is to differentiate between this two categories  Wink
2979  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Foundation Devices 'Passport Batch 2' hardware wallet review on: December 26, 2022, 06:15:59 PM
Sure, however think about that: $7m may sound like a lot to us, but it's just 0.1% of this hedge fund. Even if they wanted to focus 99.9% on shitcoins, they could absolutely do that without pressuring Passport into any weird direction. Cheesy
Yeah it's not a lot when you look how much money they have, but they won't throw away money just like that.
Foundation Devices also raised $2 Million last year, so you do need money flow to keep running things for any business.
Let's compare that with Ledger who collected $380 million from last year series C fundraising, that is really a big difference.
I personally wouldn't mind if they allow adding few other shitcoins that are privacy based, but I know the road is going down the hill when that happens.

PS
It would be interesting to collect foundrising information for all hardware wallets, but this would be tricky thing to do,
You would need to find who exactly invested money, how much they invested, and find som reliable documentation or links for that.
2980  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Im happy to announce the official launch of PNNV.com on: December 26, 2022, 05:51:39 PM
My company is KYC'ed with changenow, their license allows them to exchange crypto. you are correct at some point it might raise questions, however, im planning to switch to 1inch solution which is DEX.
I wouldn't say that 1inch is really a Dex exchange, and people won't be able to exchange and swap real Bitcoin but only tokens built on various centralized blockchains.
Maybe you could consider using atomic swaps instead, or use something that is connected with Bisq and other p2p trading platforms.

You don't have to be precise, but if it's not a secret can you tell us how much coins/money got exchanged using PNNV website through ChangeNow?
