1961  Other / Meta / Re: TalkImg.com - Image hosting for BitcoinTalk on: May 04, 2023, 08:39:24 PM
You can upload images without login. Anyone who wants an account to manage their images must ask me to assess the possibility.
But, you can use the site normally without login.
Is there any option to use third party tool software with TalkImg.com website and what parameters should we enter for this to work (server, port, etc)?

One suggestion:
Maybe you can talk with theymos to give you free advertisement boost as unofficial image uploader for bitcointalk forum.
1962  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: AntiDolos extortion/scam on: May 04, 2023, 05:37:31 PM
True, we all know how these rating sites work but in my eyes AntiDolos is even worse because he presented himself here as someone who exposes scams while it looks like that is secondary thing to them and instead they are just another shitty rating site like ICObench that can't be trusted.
I don't know the whole history with AntiDolos, and I am not defending them at all, I only wrote my opinion based on OP post and images he posted.
Maybe you know AntiDolos better as I hear he offered you to ''work'' with him before  Cheesy

I second this. It's a common practice, but only if you know you can't get a higher score.
Well you know how this things work better than me Wink
I am sure there are bunch of scammers in crypto who would do anything for money, all I asked from OP is to provide more evidence and I would gladly support him.

There is no such honest rating website. How would you think they get their business or even pay for the hosting and website maintainence?
I agree but only partially, ratings can be tricky especially if money is involved.
For me best practice would be to add notice that you received payments from some service for listing or rating.

This is textbook extortion. Here is a draft of a bad review, pay me money and I will make it way better. As I said I don't care, but others will and did and will and did pay.
Textbook extortion would be if he continued to bully you with phone, email, telegram, etc asking for more money, even after you clearly told him NO.
If Nigerian prince sends me email asking for money and I pay him, this is not extortion, but my stupidity.

1963  Economy / Reputation / Re: jerry0 case on: May 04, 2023, 05:19:06 PM
He caught me too off guard for short time, but no more. He has to learn to at least re-read the answers he has already got.
Mea culpa, you were right.
First I though he was a spammer, now I think maybe he has some medical condition and can't remember what was said before.

Cheesy give it a little time, it shall pass.
Yeah I know, he has waves of activity and inactivity, but I would use this new purge script for other things as well.
Sometimes it's not enough to just semi-hide certain member or topic, I want to remove them from my field of vision  Cool

I'd like to report these threads, but simply saying "Spam" probably rejected by moderator while finding older similar thread as reason to report his thread would take too much time.
I don't think this is worth reporting at all, and this is still better them him sending PM's to everyone with the same questions  Grin
1964  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 Bitpr0.com | The Ultimate Crypto Gambling Site Directory on: May 04, 2023, 04:51:21 PM
We usually list crypto casinos after they provided themself with a bit more trust. As Coinslotty seems as a very new website we are cautious about that.
Please hit us up at "ads@bitpr0.com" to provide us with more information about the website.
Thank you for replying fast Stakefast   Wink
I am not actually a member of Coinslotty team, but one of the guys from our local board is part of their team, and they are currently expanding promotional campaign in forum.
They just started new Signature Campaign, but I can send them contact information and email address you posted.
Cheers.

EDIT:
I noticed some of the Peer to Peer exchanges listed on your website are not active anymore (Paxful), so you might want to remove them:

1965  Economy / Services / Re: [CLOSED] 🔥COINSLOTTY🔥 ANN Design Competition – Rewards Up To $200🔥 on: May 04, 2023, 04:38:16 PM
My late vote was also for jayce, but I think that rest of the guys also did a great job.
I like ANN designs that have separate click links for website, original ANN topic, social media and other links, so I hope jayce will add that on the bottom.
Congrats jayce!

New signature is looking amazing, just make sure that it works good on all devices.
There are few guys who are checking the code and making small changes, so that signature looks good both on mobile and computer devices.

New Coinslotty campaign just opened:

1966  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: AntiDolos extortion/scam on: May 03, 2023, 10:46:04 PM
Well you can see the screenshot from Telegram, in which he asks for money to provide an 8+ review instead of 6.4 or whatever.
Yeah I see it, but that doesn't look like a threat or extortion scam to me.
We all know how most rating websites work, you pay more and you get higher rankings, nothing new about that.

1967  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Foundation Passport Official Thread on: May 03, 2023, 10:29:43 PM
Someone decided to fork Passport code and enable separate support for monero, and I don't see anything wrong with that, unless it takes away dev time from working on improving BTC code and fixing bugs.
This all resulted in one more of NVK episodes, but I think you guys nailed it with latest blog post from Zach Herbert, so I have to post it here, as An Open Letter to NVK and Coldcard:
https://www.zherbert.com/an-open-letter-to-nvk-and-coldcard/

Maybe people with old version Passport devices (like n0nce) can test this unofficial firmware when it gets released:

1968  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: 32 Hardware Wallets, compared feature by feature on: May 03, 2023, 10:14:32 PM
Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I plan to add some preloaded filters like BTC-only wallets.
Not sure if all the wallets can be visible at the same time. But I could try changing the column width so we can see more wallets at the same time.
I forgot to say that I love that you added SATS value below USD prices.
What tool are you using to show live SAT prices since they are changing all the time?
I think that HW prices are also changing sometimes, so it would be cool to have someone tracking that, instead of doing everything manually.

PS
Adding responsive design update would probably fix most of the issues with various devices, and consider adding alternative dark theme switch.

1969  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Hardware Wallets Lifespan on: May 03, 2023, 10:01:32 PM
why is the battery on the Ledger so necessary, does it become completely useless without it?
Can't the device be used without batteries, just connected to the computer and using the power required to work from there?
People used it mostly as portable device in combination smartphone connection, and for that you need battery.
You can't use it normally without battery unless you remove the battery and/or cover the contacts inside..
That means you have to be ready for warranty to be voided in this case, but I think they are sending replacement devices while in warranty.
1970  Economy / Reputation / Re: jerry0 case on: May 03, 2023, 09:52:19 PM
Oh boy, jerry0 is back again and he created bunch on new recycled topics in Hardware wallet section.
If I counted correctly there are 12 of his topic that are floating on top, and he created bunch of silly questions again.
Most of his ''questions'' are related with ledger, but I can't even read the content and I don't think this is normal at all... maybe someone forgot to take his pills  Roll Eyes

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=261.0

I need someone to create PURGE script in bitcointalk forum, instead of Ignore option.
1971  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Are there any smartphones out there that are hard wallets too? on: May 03, 2023, 09:35:45 PM
Correct. I think mobile phones cant replace hardware wallet features. Btw, still Im interested in knowing about this saga phone's price since it claims to be a blockchain based device (I know even HTC tried this before and failed) , where can one buy it ? Is there a thread about it in the forum? Specs ? Anyone? If someone got any legit source, you may post it here.
I don't know where you can buy that crap and I don't know any spec, research it yourself.
This is just shitcoin junk device that will certainly die soon enough after they collect more money from people.
If you want to waste your money go for it, but don't expect to receive any security of device updates from Saga ponzi scheme.

An old iPhone can also be „airgapped“/kept offline if you don’t need to spend coins easily.
Not really.
You can only be sure something is really airgapped if you remove parts that communicate with cell towers and internet.
I do however agree that old phones can be useful for bitcoin.
1972  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Wallet for Android / Re: Pros vs. Cons on Android for Bitcoin on: May 03, 2023, 09:18:24 PM
I'm genuinely interested to know what are the real pros vs. cons on owning one vs. apple?
Unless you are using degoogled open source version of Android (like Graphene) experience is probably going to be worse than using iPhone.
You have a bunch of ads, and there is good chance you will be spied by Chinese or other manufacturers, most of them distribute phones with bunch of crapware.

Especially in the sense for BTC or crypto purposes in, how does android compare for anything crypto related vs. Apple?
Most of the Bitcoin stuff, wallets and other apps are available both on Android and iPhones.
Google Play is less secure, it's easier to install some scam application, mostly because it's much harder to get application listed in Apple store.
Positive thing for Android is that you can install more applications and you can install open source operating system without use of any g00gle apps.
1973  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: AntiDolos extortion/scam on: May 03, 2023, 09:05:45 PM
What happened: AntiDolos tried to extort me by publishing bullshit review of a project where I am Co-Founder and if I pay $1000 they would give us a much higher rating. In his review that is not public yet he made a lot of false accusations, from having fake team members to faking partnerships which is just not true. Article is not yet published on their website and we got preview version of it and I guess they wanted to wait and see whether we gonna give them $1000.
It's not that I don't trust your claims, but if you are going to post stuff like this about bitcointalk member than you better provide some proof of conversation and threats.
This can be posted as redacted screenshots from email, telegram or other services you used for conversation.
I would also like to hear AntiDolos side of story before making any decision here.
1974  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Pregled Bitcointalk Signature-Ad kampanja on: May 03, 2023, 08:59:28 PM
A sta ako je prvo smiksano, poslano do managera a onda on dalje isplacuje?  Cheesy

1976  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ✅PSTNET – Trusted Virtual Crypto Cards⭐️Reloadable payment cardsⓂ️ Review copies on: May 02, 2023, 02:32:16 PM
Overall we are a legitimate business certified in Canada, thus we legally cannot have any connections with Russian businesses.
Can you please show some proof that you are a real business registered in Canada?
Show us few pictures from your office, people who work there, your team, documents proving your claims, etc.

I see a lot of SCAM reviews posted on Trustpilot with people complaining they lost money on your website:

https://www.trustpilot.com/review/pst.net

Something is not right here...

As for the first card issue, we ask users to indicate their name and their location through simple form on the website to issue first card, yet we don't ask them to upload any documents at this point, so the statement of "Issue your first card without any documents" stays. For purchasing more than one card we ask users to complete KYC verification, that is divided into several steps depending on what level of access and number of features the users is willing to get.
It makes no sense that first card from you is without any KYC, and for all other cards you could ask users to complete verification.
1977  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Buying anything from Japan with Bitcoin? on: May 02, 2023, 02:11:39 PM
oh, I just came across the site and there are a few products that are reasonably priced compared to what I can buy where I live right now. Maybe I'll try to buy it in the future.
but first of all, if you already have a buying experience, can you give me some information about shipping cost and delivery time? How long does it take to receive the item you want?
Sure I can.
There are multiple shipping options available for different regions, and exact fees depend on size of the item/s you ordered.
Great thing that you can order several items, they will pack it all in one box, measure size, weight and tell you exact fees you should pay.
You can also calculate estimated shipping fees manually using their Shipping Calculator, but don't forget to include Zenmarket fees also.

Shiping can be very cheap using AVIA Airmail (Small) if your package weight is less than 2 kg (4.4 lb) with total dimensions are maximum 90 cm (35.4 inch) Length(a) + height(b) + depth(c), and if you don't need express delivery.
Slowest delivery is Surface but it's not always the cheapest option, and there is also UPS, FedEx, DHL, EMS and Zen Express.
Delivery time depends on your location and can be from few days to few weeks.

PS
Note that now is Golden Week holiday time in Japan, so many services don't work as usual.

Hey Stakefast!
I checked out your website and I didn't saw Coinslotty casino listed there.
Is there any special procedure and listing fee to show up on Bitpro0 website or you can list any website for free after doing a review inspection?

I see a lot of guys from our local board are here and I am thinking of joining the hype.
