3041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why are there so many coins and the reason why some developers failed on: February 28, 2022, 02:44:14 PM
Because, it is easy. The codes are out there, the open-source codes of pancakeswap is a great example to defi world for example, or any other simple token is literally just out there. Check one of the audited places from Certik and you will see plenty of codes from legit places. Just take their code, change it to whatever you want, and publish it, if you want you could get it audited and any mistakes will be found and you could change it and do it again, so that you would have perfect code. Design of a website is as simple as it gets, web developers are dime a dozen.

So, if you spend like 10k, you could create a project, put some marketing on top of that and you got yourself a new project. It is really THAT simple and people wonder why there are 17k+ in CMC alone, and there are tens of thousands not even listed there.
3042  Economy / Economics / Re: Ban Russia from SWIFT! Protect Ukrainian Sky! Send NATO to Ukraine! on: February 28, 2022, 02:14:34 PM
I see that Ukraine president is staying strong and keeping everyone safe as much as he could. The news is really baffling and surely scary for everyone.

I just hope that you and your family and friends will stay safe through this hardship. Just believe in humanity. NATO, USA and other members would be coming by your side. May be slowly but they will come as big relief.

I just hope that you will stay safe. For time being stay connected somehow over social media, forum, and have some assets over crypto space.
There is no guarantee that he won't be killed at any moment and he is still fighting along the soldiers and maybe even killed someone, just to protect his country, or barely survived death, who knows? When was the last time we have ever seen a leader lead their country in a war? Especially when it was a defensive war?

I mean not like I know the worlds history all that well, so I could be wrong, but at this scale and this much media and this much knowledge? I can guarantee you that for the past 100+ years we haven't heard of a "general" leading the war themselves with their soldiers.

It is all people who are in suits talking in palaces and castles and voting to open war and so forth in senates just so they could send soldiers to oversees and get them killed for political power. He definitely became the next Ataturk of the world, something I never thought would happen in my life time.
3043  Economy / Economics / Re: Putin next steps and where it may fail spectacularly on: February 28, 2022, 04:44:24 AM
As long as there is no nuclear war, I am definitely fine with him losing. The only thing that scares me about the current situation is that Putin will try his best and at the very worst case if he looks like he is losing then he may try a nuclear war, and in that case everything will be looking a lot worse. Doesn't mean that I want him to win the war to avoid nuclear war, just means I hope someone in Russia stops him before he starts it. That way we would both save ourselves from a nuclear war AND get rid of Putin at the same time. It will not be easy but it won't be impossible neither.

We could totally see some Russian oligarchs get together and talk about how much money they have lost because of him and dispose of him because of it.
3044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: February 27, 2022, 08:39:41 PM
Ferrari put a ton of work on this year's car so I would guess there is at least some merit into it, they are definitely looking good. However, we need to remember that this is mind games as well, it is not really that easy to make Red Bull scared, they have been quite great for the past 10+ years, and doubt they will start to suck right now.

Maybe the key point where red bull is missing right now is that they were amazing at turns, like on a straight line Mercedes was clearly better but RB always managed to turn faster, whereas Mercedes had to break harder, and that could be not done this year due to car changing shape? Eventually they will surely get there again.
3045  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: February 27, 2022, 08:04:46 PM
United losing makes them be at 6th place after the all games are played (technically speaking). Meaning, Arsenal has 24 games, so that is 3 games missing and if they win all of that (unlikely) that would make them 51 points and they would be 4 points ahead of United, even if they lose one of those games they would still be ahead. Look at Spurs, they have 2 games missing and if they win both of them then they would be 48 points and ahead of United as well.

I am not saying that these teams will end up winning these games but I am 100% certain that the situation would be a lot more closer and United would be a lot more uncomfortable about the whole thing when they see teams around them. They should have win the Watford game for sure.
3046  Economy / Economics / Re: China says it will trade normally with Russia on: February 27, 2022, 03:02:17 PM
Trading normally would be something okay, nobody expects them to have sanctions. As long as China is not overtly and openly supporting Russia and their claims on Ukraine, there is no problem in this situation. I am quite happy that China (which I despise normally) do not really approach this situation as a way to "stick it to west". They love to do that, they keep talking about how much they hate Americans and Europeans, and so does the politicians on the other side do it to Chinese, and then they make deals and have trades because billionaires need each other.

In order for the rich people to make money, they need to build stuff in China and sell in the west. So, China needs to keep it kosher with west, but also show no disconnect with Russia as well.
3047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto prices are starting to strengthen again on: February 27, 2022, 09:05:04 AM
We are at the doors of 40k all over again and that is not really that much of a bad deal if you ask me. We are still in the middle of a war and yet the prices are recovering which is a good sign for the market. If we waited until the war was over, it may have taken a lot longer and we would have to wait a long more before we could get the price higher again.

However we didn't really waited for it, we managed to hit it right in the nail before the war was over and already trying to break that 40k+ zone and be there. I hope that it will happen, but I hope even more that the war would be over, every innocent life taken would be useless and definitely would never have a good reasoning.
3048  Economy / Economics / Re: Dollar rise and fall during the beginning of the Russia and Ukraine war on: February 26, 2022, 08:55:36 AM
We can't expect stability anywhere when there is war. The whole world's economy is shaky now including Bitcoin. So up down dollar value is just a normal reaction. Because for any reason buy pressure and sell pressure would increase or decrease as well. Since the US confines Russia so Russia wouldn't appreciate US Dollar anymore at this point. So likely they would leave the dollar and enter crypto to secure their funds. We are unaware of what is going on exactly.
I would assume that nations that are totally irrelevant should have been fine. I am not saying that they are doing better or anything like that, but I am assuming that they should be fine. Like just to make something up, why would Ugandan economy be bad? I don't know if it is doing good or bad but I am just saying it should be totally irrelevant right?

In the same logic, there are some nations who are doing worse because of a "potential" crisis, like just because there is a potential for it, why price that into the markets today before it happens? They are doing it to avoid the future collapse in case something happens but they are causing the problem even before it happens this way. Makes no sense to me.
3049  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia's Stock Market Amidst War Against Ukraine on: February 26, 2022, 05:48:26 AM
Obviously Russia will suffer for this. However, the problem is that Putin will not suffer because of it, Russians will but Putin will not. We have seen Russian people on the streets condemning the war even against a dictator, they know they will be jailed or killed and yet they still got out and protested the war. Because, they know that this war will only bring death and destruction and chaos to their nation as well.

So, the only reason for this war is Putin, nobody else, no other person is responsible for this, maybe some high ranked officials with Russia, or maybe some generals, but I am sure that even 90% of the soldiers would rather be at home right now.
3050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 26, 2022, 05:31:51 AM
I would guess that it would depend on the results. If Conte gets great results then he would be welcomed with open arms, everyone would love him as soon as he starts to win, but if he starts to lose then they will hate him and call him a traitor.

It is so easy to convince fans, you could be the player or manager that managed to beat a team a million times, or scored a million times, or even said horrible disgusting things about a club, but if you join them, everyone will hate you for a second but the moment you start to be awesome and help them get points and wins then they will start to love you and forget about anything else that has happened before you joined them, it is the regular part of football.
3051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: February 26, 2022, 03:53:27 AM
Honestly I really did not expected Rangers to win, it really didn't feel like it was a possible thing before the games started but at the end of the day there wasn't really anything Dortmund could do, Rangers just played so greatly. This is the proof that if your team plays amazingly as a team, like really know what they should as a team then you would not face a big problem when you are fighting against a better team.

Sherrif by the way nearly got away with another stage, I really loved their story this year, they managed to play so well during champions league and even beat Real Madrid, which was like some of the best underdog games I have seen in years, and they played well against Braga as well, won the first game with ease, but unfortunately got a tie and then penalties to getting eliminated. Sad situation for them but something to be very proud of.
3052  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 25, 2022, 08:14:56 PM
Dortmund now can concentrate 100% on the Bundesliga. They have been eliminated from the Europa League. They only played 2:2 against Glasgow Rangers. The defence was not good, especially in the second half. They could have conceded even more goals. The offence was good, but the defence is not good enough for an international opponent. But probably enough for the Bundesliga.
Although the current points are only 6 points different from Bayern Munich but I personally don't believe Dortmund will shift Bayern Munich from the top position, get eliminated from UEL and will focus more on the Bundesliga, it's still not enough for Dortmund to be consistent. Indeed, anything can still happen with this close points difference, but anyway I personally still strongly believe Bayern Munich will be able to maintain the top position.
Bayern Munich plays much more consistently than Borussia Dortmund and from the composition of players owned by the club, of course Bayern Munich is the favourite, to win the title this season Bayern Munich is the favourite and even though there is only a difference of 6 points in my opinion, there is very little hope for Dortmund to be able to shift Bayern Munich from the top of the table, I'm sure no one doubts that.
Bayern has been here for a very long time, Dortmund has been here before as well but they haven't bene in a while and some of their players haven't seen any championship, ever since they have been in Dortmund they have seen Bayern be champions. Not all, but most players. It means that Bayern plays a lot more comfortably because they know this high stakes situation very well and played it before, against Dortmund, against Leipzig, against anyone really and they always came out on top and they have confidence. Whereas Dortmund hasn't been here for a long time and that causes them to end up being a bit less confident and could end up making them lose some crucial points.
3053  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How many exchange accounts do you need to daytrade? on: February 25, 2022, 02:50:34 PM
If the project is fairly new, you can ask the developer on their social media. If the project isn't really new and has been listed on CMC or Coingecko, check it and click market button to see which exchanges had a volume of that's coin you're looking for.

I don't think if we want to daytrade we need so many exchange accounts to do it, you can use 1-2 only and it's enough. Using many accounts just make you headache to handle it and you might hold the coins on the exchanges, which is not good for safety.
I wouldn't really consider new projects that are barely getting listed anywhere as a thing to do daytrading. That doesn't really make any sense at all. I would guess that there is a good reason for many people to trade on btc-usdt pair, that makes a lot more sense.

I know that it is the highest volume but also it is easier to do day trading as well. First of all it is on all exchanges, that is literally the first thing that exchanges add, before anything else. After that there is also the fact that we are talking about liquidity, meaning you could do any type of trading daily on it if you want to. You don't have to do btc-usdt but you could do something high like that.
3054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metaverse Cryptocurrencies on: February 25, 2022, 04:22:34 AM
People are investing based on hypes and then they get upset about the fact that they end up losing money on these things. I mean there are tons of people who say "how come people make so much money and I am always too late" and then invest into things like floki or whatever.

I do not understand why people are getting a lot of hate for being long term stock investor warren buffet type of crypto investor, that is literally the best method. The best thing about the current situation is that I can just buy the top 5 and just hold for 10 years and make a profit, whereas these people who invest into these buzzwords will end up usually losing a ton of money.
Yeah, unfortunately, the buzzword case is not something new and that is why. The stock market reacts the same way as well, Tesla is a great company and I highly believe that they deserve to be big, but not the biggest company in the entire world, they are not "that" big when you consider their profits, we also had the same thing with Amazon as well, they made a loss up until very recently and they were ranked very highly as well.

Basically, people just paid for the name and branding and buzzwords instead of the real data. Why do you think Warren Buffet invests into things like coca cola or geico and so forth? Because, they have the numbers to back up their level, Tesla and those type of companies, or in our case metaverse and so forth do not have it.

Look at bitcoin right now, it is so cheap, it would be awesome to invest into it right now, and there will be equally as much lost in weird shitcoin metaverse projects.
3055  Economy / Economics / Re: China's strategy on the Ukraine invasion war on: February 24, 2022, 07:23:12 PM
China and Russia is basically the same nation. You may see a few differences in them, you could point out how there are small differences you think that are big. But the reality is that they are both nations with powerful army, powerful economy (or at least powerful against the nations they attack) and how no big nation will do anything against them but put sanctions against them.

China could take all of Hong Kong and Vietnam under their nation, like fully, and nobody will do anything about it. Hell I am sure China could much worse, and yet nobody will do anything about it. You think Russia will stop with Ukraine? They saw that nothing will be done so they could do anything they want.
3056  Economy / Economics / Re: Who gain's from War ? on: February 24, 2022, 06:39:02 PM
The ones that should be gaining the most from wars that happens or almost happens are the contractors or the sellers/providers of the weapons that are used to strengthen a countries artillery or boast their strength, next would be the raw material providers that supplies the needs of the weaponry manufacturers. Then a few goes to the necessities providers like food, hygiene stuff etc., (If the war really does happen). Then lastly, the government for all the taxes and some politicians for corruption. There can be more but these are the ones that I think really benefits wars.
"If the war really does happen", what else do you really need aside from bombing of a nation and that nation sending bombs back? I mean missiles are fired everywhere on both sides right now, if that is not a war I do not know what is a war.

Do you really need people to fight with guns in their hands in a building or something to consider it a war? This is war, it is happening right now, and there are dozens of people died even on the first hour of it, the total will be in thousands easily. And there is no person who profits from it.

Putin is getting his own desires done, but he is not even gaining anything from it as well. Like he doesn't gain anything aside from being one thing he always wanted done, and he is 70 years old, he could do this a few more times before he dies, and that's it. In a fair election he would have been gone years ago, so it is really not that much profitable since he will rig the elections anyway so it i not about votes.
3057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie Come to Crypto What they should do first? on: February 24, 2022, 04:08:11 PM
There is really no way to start, there are plenty of things that you need to learn and then you need to pick one and learn that way. I do not know what type of learning is the best for you the VARK model in the sense that visual, auditory, reading and writing are the most known methods.

It means you need to first figure out what you are going to do with what type of system you are better at. If you can do that then you could do a lot better, in that sense we could actually end up with you learning something. Do not actually start from just one thing, there is no "one" thing that could be like that, just learn how you could start by feeling better, find the subject that will make you feel hyped.
3058  Economy / Speculation / Re: ukraine battlefield bear market on: February 24, 2022, 07:29:26 AM
It really makes no sense to me that a war so far from American or even Western European soil would have an impact on Bitcoin price.
It is possible if the issue of the problem between Russia and Ukraine is on cryptocurrency, mining, bitcoin or something close to that but now it is not but political so it should not affect the price of bitcoin. Speculation of bitcoin last year even before the intensity of the Russian and Ukraine problem was to see bitcoin going bear so no need for surprise now that it is happening, could be coincidence with the problem of Russia and Ukraine.
Mining is a big deal, Russia is a great nation when it comes to energy and the prices are very low in certain areas and that means between the cold air and also the situation with cheap electricity that means that miners that used to work in China ended up going to Russia and with this war and the upcoming economical crisis due to sanctions (and it even started right now) they are going to be doing even better. They do not need that much money anymore, why? Because, the dollar they are making from the bitcoin means that they are able to buy even more.

Inflation and economic crisis hurts people who work in that nation but if you are making dollars then it is even better for you. That is why I believe that Russian miners could be selling a lot more right now and a lot cheaper and that could be changing the price a lot more and that could be the problem.
3059  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Limit Buy Filled but Cryptocurrency didn't go that low? on: February 23, 2022, 09:26:56 PM
It should be looking like it hit that level if you were able to buy at that level. Imagine this for a second. You see a coin that is 100 dollars per coin, and you put an order at 50 bucks, in case if it drops that low, you see the price at 80 bucks but you have the coin, what does that tell you? It means it went to 50 bucks, allowed you to buy from that order, then get back to 80 dollars. Otherwise why would people give you that much lower if the price is higher?

If you are not seeing it going that low and the price is higher right now then do not be really shocked but just be happy because now you are holding a coin that is higher than where you bought it.
3060  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Proper risk management? on: February 23, 2022, 09:02:44 PM
DCA is always the best risk management that I have. I personally always put in some crypto every single month. Even when it is low or high, doesn't matter where it is and I end up making as much profit as I could from it and live with that.

There is really nothing wrong with buying bitcoin at 68k and there is nothing wrong with 38k neither, just buy wherever you can at all times and focus on growing your bitcoin holding. Why? Because, I believe that in the long run it will always go higher and higher which means that we are going to see the price reach to levels of 100k+ one day, even 200k+ one day and buying at these levels is a great idea. Sure, there are periods when it is lower and if you spent all of that money to buy at the bottom that would be great, but it would be even better if I bought it from 1 dollar each, I didn't so I do not dwell on that and keep doing what I know best.
