2161  Economy / Economics / Re: Crude Oil drops below $100 on: October 09, 2022, 05:35:09 PM
The funny thing is, it’s around 90's right now, at around 92-93 range give or take, but it was somewhere between 60-130 all year, that’s a WILD difference. Normally we do not have that kind of difference in a single year, get it at 60, increase it to 130, and drop it to 90 doesn't happen all too often.

Sure, it does happen time to time when there is a big issue, I do not know how it was in 2008 for example when the crash happened, but I know that it’s not going to be that easy for anyone to accept the current situation that easily. You can't make a plan with oil prices like this, because you do not know how much you will pay for it next time you buy it.
2162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: October 07, 2022, 08:23:53 PM
It will definitely be an easy game for sure, we are going to end up seeing Real and Barcelona get a win again, reach to 22 points and continue to battle this week, those are simple games, plus if you end up butting both games into a single bet, the return is not that bad at all, I would say it's actually quite decent as well.

This is why I would assume that it's going to be a decent situation to continue in the long run with betting on both of them each week constantly, it may bring in a profit by the end of the season as well. Doesn't mean it will be a win each week, but it could be good. We gonna have them fighting soon, that will be the exception.
2163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: October 07, 2022, 07:42:11 PM
There is really no certain way of making sure that you are doing a good job, there are some situations where you may end up with a good result by these Lyon type of teams, but they are not entirely sure if they are playing their best or not each week, and that causes a little trouble.

Sometimes they play very well and beat their opponents, and sometimes they play so bad that even the last team in the league could beat them. This is why it's so hard to wager on their games as well, doesn't really make that much sense. I try to avoid bundesliga and ligue 1 because there is domination and all the other teams are looking a little weird and inconsistent.
2164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 07, 2022, 06:41:32 PM
Wembanyama is so good, I can't imagine him being anything other than a first pick, any team who has the first pick and doesn't get him must be insane. Doesn't matter if you are rebuilding and get 5 first round pick offers, doesn't matter if someone is giving you Durant, doesn't matter if you are given 10 picks, it really doesn't matter.

Just get him, and then you can slowly and gradually build around him, get some more decent free agents at first, trade later on, and then in 5 years you would have a decent team, not amazing, but a decent, because Wembanyama alone could get you close to playoff levels easily if he stays healthy, with a bit more help you would be a contenting team when he is 25 years old. I watched him a lot, he is just too unreal, he is unique as it gets and all depends on him staying healthy.
2165  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long term investing - Spot, Margin or Derivatives? on: October 07, 2022, 05:44:52 PM
I feel like the question could be would you prefer long term? derivatives? spot? margin trading? Like not which of these three for long term, but more like which of these four would you prefer? That is why I was thinking about long term would be better for me, but that's a personal thing and I prefer it that way, maybe I am wrong, maybe you would be better with margin trading, maybe the other person would be better at spot, it all depends on what you are accustomed to do.

Simply, doing DCA with bitcoin for years to decade would be the better option for all of us who believe into the future of bitcoins. Buy bitcoins regularly and send it to your cold wallet and track your progress in bitcoin explorer and that's all; finally you will find yourself a millionaire without risking in any type of trading.
2166  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Copy trading / robo investing platforms? on: October 07, 2022, 04:01:51 PM
It's clear that if you risk your payment of income to trading and do that for copy trading to whoever you think is good, or whoever someone says is good, then you are going to lose your income. First off, start by putting some aside in bitcoin and do not touch it, I always put some money aside in bitcoin, I get paid in btc when I work as well, and that means I have some bitcoin savings.

After you have done that, try to spread it to eth, and when you have enough of that then bnb, and keep doing that down the list. It will allow you to have a good list for sure, won't be easy to handle but it's going to be good for you instead of a trading bot.
2167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 06, 2022, 07:14:11 PM
To be honest, Embiid didn't played much in his first three seasons neither, and was considered bust by many people because of his injuries, compared him to Oden a lot, but then he recovered and didn't get injured all that much and he became an MVP candidate level of player.

This is why I believe that Zion still has a chance to recover from this and become a good worthy player, he hasn't missed all that much yet, sure he had a bad start at his career, but he could still play another 15+ seasons and if he odes that with minimal injury, then he will be considered a great player by the time he retires. Al depends on how the future looks, can't say anything for now.
2168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 06, 2022, 06:26:01 PM
Xabi is not a bad manager for sure, and he knows bundesliga and a bit about them, but I do not think that he would be a sudden change and make them a better team overnight. When a new manager comes in during the middle of the season that usually means it is going to be a tough deal since he wasn't part of the transfer window. Why is that so important?

Because, we are talking about a situation where manager will buy players that would fit his system a lot better, when he comes in during this period, he can't really buy the players that would fit his system, and instead find a system that fits the players he has, and that causes a little bit of trouble.
2169  Economy / Economics / Re: China tells state banks to prepare for a massive dollar dump on: October 06, 2022, 05:53:22 PM
I believe that they are going to be forced to sell dollars eventually, what are you going to do with trillions of dollars that you can't use, and still have a financial break in your nation? We have seen the huge real estate bubble bursting in China just a year ago, and that means they need to get some more yuan, and value their own money a bit more in order to protect its citizens.

USA should start to move their manufacturing to other places gradually as a response to make sure that nobody has a lot of dollar to devalue it whenever they want to. If you are dependent on just one nation to build everything for you, then you are going to eventually lose its value.
2170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Popular projects and none popular projects on: October 06, 2022, 05:33:11 PM
Depends on the popularity, and fundamentals of it. Look at Luna, it was a very popular project, at its height I think it broke over top 10 right? I am not entirely sure but I remember it being top 10 if I am not wrong or close to it, and look where it is right now, there is no Luna at all.

It means, you could trust into the big ones and it is not unique for them to turn out to be scam, but it is uncommon at least, whereas brand new projects or non-popular projects could turn out to be a scam easier, and that is the risk you are taking with them, it is pretty common for those ones to turn out to be a scam. I personally still go with top 10 just in case.
2171  Economy / Economics / Re: At last, Twitter wins the battle!! on: October 06, 2022, 03:01:25 PM
I am not sure if they do, after all they are going to lose Twitter to Elon, it would be wiser to keep the product and not sell it. I understand that billions of dollars is not something to scoff at, and if someone offered you billions of dollars on what you won right now, you would take it.

But, if someone offered me 40-50 billion dollars, or twitter, I would prefer to own twitter instead of that money. They are both making a good amount of revenue to begin with, and they are also growing in size as well. Twitter lost its appeal for a while back in the day, but these days politics really took a big hold of twitter (and crypto too) and that made it grow bigger.
2172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 05, 2022, 07:29:59 PM
It’s understandable that some teams may not continue to dominate forever, it will cause a lot of trouble for them financially because Juventus is still paying the amounts of a champion, and fail to win it for 2 years in a row, looking like it will be third year as well. This can't go on, they will have to reel in the transfer costs, and payroll eventually and when that happens it’s going to be even worse for them.

Meanwhile teams like Napoli do not get championship money, but they build a team for success with whatever they are given, which they get used to, and that is why sometimes they overachieve what they should, since they are already designed for a level, so anything more than that is success.
2173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is It An Easy Transition From Gamer To Gambler In Casino. on: October 05, 2022, 06:32:03 PM
As someone who has gamed all his life since he was a little kid, to a grown man who still games every single time he can find some free time, I can tell you that it all depends on the game. Like we literally have fake casino games these days, obviously those would be alright and we would definitely find something common because we are just not doing it with fake money but real money that’s the only difference, but playing call of duty and then go play some gambling wouldn't be relevant at all.

So, it all depends the type of game that you could play and that will be actually a good result for sure, would definitely help everyone gamble better if they can find a relevant game.
2174  Economy / Speculation / Re: Biden team asks congress for clearer crypto regulation on: October 05, 2022, 05:10:23 PM
This is going to be a huge win for all of us in the crypto world. When there is a clear regulation, a legislation that makes it 100% legal but regulated, we are going to see so many companies in the crypto world, everyone will just follow the regulations and start something.

It is not clear right now, it is following certain rules in the finance world, but there are so many grey areas, coinbase is the only one that grew big, we are going to see basically a wall street level of companies but in the crypto world when this is over. Biden probably doesn't even know what crypto is, but the fact that he wants it done quickly will help us for sure.
2175  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: DONT GIVE ME FISH on: October 05, 2022, 04:08:23 PM
I never really truly understood it. The idea of "do not give me fish, teach me how to fish" applies to only a situation where it would be good for a day. Meaning, I rather learn how to make money than earn 20 dollars for one day and that’s it, of course making money methods are better on long term than 20 dollars once.

But, if you give me wealth, like literally wealth, over 100k+ for my nation would be fine, then I would prefer that, do not teach me how to make a million dollars, give me a million dollars instead, I will handle the rest for sure. That is something people need to realize, teach me how to fish only applies to small amounts when you compare it, not huge amounts that can alter your life.
2176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Suggest a promising project at an early stage? on: October 05, 2022, 02:19:49 PM
Unfortunately, there are a lot of people who react to crypto like it’s some sort of get rich quick scheme and they invest accordingly. I am not saying that it would be a bad idea if that is what makes you happy, obviously go for it if you really want to invest that way.

But, it is also clear that the best way to invest would be making sure that you are investing long term to trustworthy stuff and not brand new stuff. I am definitely sure that we are going to end up with something much better, and that is going to be a bit of a trouble before we see the clear skies, just invest into known top end coins instead of newbie projects and you can make a great return.
2177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Crypto Twitter reacted to Kim Kardashian’s $1.26M SEC fine on: October 05, 2022, 01:44:08 PM
People act as if 1 million dollars is nothing to Kardashian's, and yes it may not be as big as it is for you or me, but they still feel that burn when they get it, which means this is a good lesson for them, and for anyone else. Do not promote projects for money without disclosing it, and if you disclose it then we know that you got paid for it and not really support it.

What we saw was Kim actually promoting and "liking" a project, some people may invest to the hype of that, and now that we know it is not real, we can say that she didn't even cared about the project. SEC needs to stop people who would do that, because it could cause many people to lose money.
2178  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price: Watchout for 30% decline in Bitcoin price, according to this indi on: October 04, 2022, 08:28:02 PM
Robert Kiyosaki is a guy who managed to build and entire career out of a simple book that everyone knew about, but couldn't write in simple terms like him. He is more of an author than an investor if you ask me and he shouldn't be listened for any type of investment advice. At the end of the day, we are in a world where it is going to be quite hard to achieve something with just listening to others, specially people like Kiyosaki.

I agree that price will go up, and we should invest into bitcoin right now because there could be a big decline in dollar price, not in bitcoin price, and dollar will get more and more devalued for sure.
2179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 04, 2022, 07:03:01 PM
It's really looking like NBA will be another boring season if this is how it goes. Some teams have a huge cap problem, but they do not care and pay the luxury tax thanks to rich owners, and some teams do not even try to win, they just give up before the season starts.

So, we are going to watch maybe like 2-3 teams to win, and we are going to see the rest to be either tanking, or trying to stay in playoff spot, but not even have a contending chance. That's not going to cut it anymore, this needs to change, it has been like this nearly for 10 years, we really need teams that could rival each other, not move away from each other, it really sucks this way.
2180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen in the crypto war? on: October 04, 2022, 05:19:23 PM
I do not think that we would have "people vs governments" type of war ever in the crypto world. At the end of the day, we are talking about something that is going to be beneficial for the governments to track and tax it instead of be against it, and that is what we should be aiming at.

I am not saying that it is a good idea to track everyone and tax them, that would be bad as well and it would centralize the way we use crypto at the very best case, and could be a lot worse in the long term. But if governments can do that, then isn't it better to make money off it, then ban it? What could crypto do to hurt the economy, it would only improve it if you ask me.
