2241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market for turning real life objects to 3D digital assets (NFTs/Metaverse) on: September 16, 2022, 08:42:43 PM
Back in the day people believed that if you owned an image that would have some value, but they forgot that there was a big deal about it and that is why they used to worth something. Bored Ape Yacht Club still goes for 100k+ each at the lowest price point, hell CryptoPunks doesn't even have anyone selling them right now unless you offer something insane.

So at the end of the day, they were the big names and they made sense, if you keep on spewing like bears, tigers, cats, dogs, zombies, aliens, elves, hobbits etc etc but keep on that "different type of same base with 10k collection" type of deal that we are so accustomed to, then you are going to fail to sell it unless you spend like 50k on marketing.
2242  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1 - The copycat epidemic within crypto casinos. on: September 16, 2022, 08:23:55 PM
It is clear that people are overreacting on the copycat situation, if it is not a phishing attempt, then finding casinos with just a little bit of design difference but generally the same thing would be going on for sure. I mean I know a lot of casinos that just copied the system of stake, and did their own version of it but none of them are even remotely close to it.

This is why I highly doubt that stake is worried about any copycats. That is why if you are a good casino then you have nothing to worry about. I personally do not worry about any of this as a gambler because I know which ones are good and I only gamble in those ones without a worry.
2243  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save as food inflation jumps more than 11% in a year on: September 16, 2022, 07:20:35 PM
These are not solutions, solution is to have a pay-to-food ratio that is reasonable. If people have to follow these methods to not go bankrupt on food alone, then the economy is screwed, and we can't really survive for far too long with this method.

Just have a salary that would be good enough for you to pay for basic needs, like shelter and food and clothing, and then you should have a bit more leftover, if your money is not even enough for these three, then you are going to face the fact that no savings, no apps, no bulk, nothing will be good enough because people do deserve a life better than what is offered right now, a life where we need to do these when we work so hard, is not acceptable.
2244  Economy / Economics / Re: How to be more effective working remotely. on: September 16, 2022, 06:16:46 PM
The tiredness part is the key part where it's going to hurt you in the long run. If you are working from home like me, and if you have a terrible sleep schedule, then you are going to be tired a lot of the times. Plus, we are talking about sitting down on your chair for many hours, there isn't a traffic, there isn't a commute, there isn't even a reason to get up when it's over.

Sometimes I wake up at 8 am, sit down o my chair, work until 5-6 pm, and then I just keep playing games on my PC until midnight, that means we are talking about 16 hours without getting up aside from getting food or toilet breaks. You need to fix that, every hour, go up for 10-15 minutes and walk around in your home, that will do wonders to your body and you will not be as tired, plus drink a lot of water, I mean like 2+ liters of water every day, combine these two and you will do fine.
2245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin becomes second largest PoW cryptocurrency on: September 16, 2022, 05:44:24 PM
I am pretty sure that we are going to see doge go down eventually, people are overvaluing doge right now because there was a point where Elon pumped it and even after he stopped people still kept on holding it and trading it and there is this huge doge community that got established, so much so that we have other coins and tokens that are meme focused and they are still doing fine too, so it is big enough hype to keep it going.

But, ever since the start of this hype I keep saying that it will die down eventually, and it hasn't so far but it will happen. PoW or not, it is a bad coin to invest into and it shouldn't really be in the top ten to start off with.
2246  Economy / Economics / Re: Alert: Important US Inflation news is due today on: September 16, 2022, 03:58:43 PM
It's clear that inflation is still going strong, but at least it is lower on the movement speed and that is what matters. Is it the 3% that we would like to see? It is not , but is it still going up insanely high? It is not.

If we keep this up and the rate goes on like this for at least 2-3 years, I mean the pace, then we are going to see a drop and that means 2022 will be bad but 2023 will be better, and 2024 will be actually a good year again. That is why it is not about the drop, it can't drop right away, but it is about staying steady, as long as prices do not keep on going up super high, then it means they are staying same and we can go back to normal days.
2247  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto adoption index 2022 - Chainanalysis on: September 15, 2022, 08:52:33 PM
It is very weird that African nations have not adopted it even more, some nations did, most noticeably I know that Nigeria for example had a whole talk in the politics about it, but there are some places where it is still not adopted a lot.

Poor nations could benefit from this even more, they could spend their hours to get some money, I have faced with people from all around the world coming from poor nations that work really hard because even 200-300 dollars a month is a good money for them. I mean I would be in trouble with debt now, but if I have been working in a regular job, I would probably get paid 400 where I live, and in crypto I could make so much more money instead.
2248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 15, 2022, 08:32:53 PM
It's clear that the league did give a light punishment for sure, or maybe they gave a light punishment so close to season so that everything could start normal and then maybe they could start working towards something much bigger later on when they reviewed it more? I do not know the reason but he got off lightly for sure, if he was forced to sell his team that would be a lot better.

I mean I still do not get how an organization would have the power to tell you to sell your company that makes money for you, but NBA is the one that decides who is in and who is out so if you do not sell then they will give that spot to another brand new team. This is why it's much more important to make him sell, would be a good punishment.
2249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: September 15, 2022, 07:11:23 PM
Teams deciding on the next season already is a good decision and probably the updates they have this year were all decided long time ago, which is why I am not shocked to learn that they are going to end up working on the next years car.

It's normal because we are seeing these clubs seeing the difference RBR has and that means we are going to see Max win and RBR win at the end of the season and clubs know about it and racers known about it and it's much more important to focus on the next years car going into half way into the season already. If they can make something work and have a better car then we are going to be see them much better and maybe a competition to Max next year, because they can't be this year.
2250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to LUNC after its founder is arrested?! on: September 15, 2022, 06:08:23 PM
LUNC is not doing anything with the founder not arrested neither, so it would not make sense to expect anything more from them when he is arrested too. The only answer would be they would arrive where they would normally arrive a bit quicker, that seems like the case, aside from that they are a coin that will go down and be zero eventually anyway, I am not really seeing them being "zero" but they will be basically not in anyone's mind and only have a few thousand followers like a brand new project, nothing bigger than that.

It may take a bit of time to get there but I guarantee you that it will get there for sure, and you should get out before that happens.
2251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum The Merge on Google on: September 14, 2022, 04:09:58 PM
Crypto is getting bigger enough to have these kinds of stuff. I remember back in the day I was having trouble even for a crypto related ad on google, of course that passed long ago and now we have been seeing crypto related ads on google for many years, but when I first started it was a difficult thing and my first ever website got screwed because of it.

These days crypto is much bigger and that is why google cares about it as well, they like it when people could find answers directly from them, look at the sports world for example, you could type in the game and they will tell you when it is or if it’s played what the score is. That’s what google is evolving to, giving you the answers directly by themselves.
2252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul VS Anderson Silva October 29th on: September 13, 2022, 07:44:45 PM
I still can't make any sense on this "entertainment boxing" world that is going on with the Paul brothers. They were getting a lot of heat from that one video, and then they ended up moving to boxing and now they are making a killing from this as well. That doesn't really make any sense to me at all, why would anyone think that boxing for fun, between two people who rarely knows how boxing works, is worth watching?

Recently they branched out to other fighting style people to come and box with them, the whole Woods vs Jake was a big joke, Woods should have taken him very quickly, I guess age does make you worse, Silva is not young neither, it could be a trouble for him. Once the greatest fighter, now just a cash clown, very sad to see.
2253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: September 13, 2022, 06:56:28 PM
Everyone is expecting City to win and I like it when the league is like this and someone else wins. I mean it would probably be more about the fact that it is not going to be that much of a problem when the whole season is said and done and City lifts the cup and that would be a bit boring but would probably what everyone expects.

However, if we have a season where City just ends up with a loss here and there and someone else wins? Even if that team is Liverpool (unlikely for now but they are a good team) then it would still be a good season to watch, if it is a team like Arsenal then it would be insane to watch, Arteta would be praised to hell for sure by every pundit.
2254  Economy / Economics / Re: Which city deserves to be the blockchain capital? on: September 13, 2022, 05:31:34 PM
Interestingly Amsterdam is not far away from the current climate neither. I mean I agree that London is on another level when we are talking about finance, they are literally the headquarters of the world and even though USA looks like a richer nation and has wall street which is known as a big finance center, London is a lot bigger when it comes to moving money around like crazy.

So, crypto should be feeling very welcome there if the regulations are met, the law is not clear on it as much as we want it to be, because not every bit of angle on crypto is covered right now, simple stuff like trading and exchanges could happen, but we could also have a lot more stuff going on like defi or nft or whatever which could be built all there.
2255  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Binance giving more Apr in fixable staking (saving) than locked staking? on: September 13, 2022, 04:04:38 PM
The idea is that flexible could have a higher reward for now, and lower later on, but fixed price will always be fixed and will always give a return based on that. I personally do not stake there, but if I were then I would pick a fixed compound one which would allow me to grow bigger for many years, whereas flexible would be on and off which would create a bit of a trouble.

Plus, the benefits of fixed is that it would be terrible for you if you leave, hence you decide to keep it in there longer than what you would do with a normal one and I would be definitely taking it out ifi t was flexible, whereas I would force myself to keep it if it was a fixed one.
2256  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What I've learned after 3 years building an algo trading bot on: September 13, 2022, 03:24:01 PM
I worked for one for a year as well in 2017 but I can easily tell that most of them do not know what they are doing. If the whole idea worked so perfectly then they would have used it themselves and make themselves rich.

The idea is that they are both making money from selling, which is growing their capital for their own product, but also they can get richer and faster this way, and using the bot would require a lot of fixing too. They see you as customers but also as beta testers as well and when there is something to fix, you tell them what is wrong and they fix it, and if there is an idea, you suggest it and they improve it, so they get richer from your help too.
2257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: September 12, 2022, 07:46:29 PM
4 goals by Barcelona, 4 goals by Real Madrid and 4 goals by Athletico madrid. I mean it is not getting easy to read which teams are doing how, I get that ATM may not be at that level anymore, probably not going to win the title but all these three teams look like if someone else makes a mistake they will be there to recover it.

I know that it is not going to be easy, but it is not going to be that hard neither from the looks of it. At the end, why would we want to see them lose? So, it is a good thing that they are winning. I personally would prefer to see them win all the games until the end of the season and draw each other, but we all know someone will make a mistake eventually.
2258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: September 12, 2022, 06:58:03 PM
Every year everyone thinks that this is time for City to win, and every year they find a way to lose and meanwhile La Liga teams always end up going further than anyone gives them credit for.

People do not realize this but if you look at the rankings, even though Premier league clubs have more money and more freedom and La Liga teams have a lot more trouble financially and need to follow some rules and do not get the same love globally (even though still loved a lot) we are not seeing premier league clubs having the same type of luck. In the end, I believe that it would be still either Real Madrid or Barcelona that will win it this year as well.
2259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA's EuroBasket is rigged with a proof on: September 12, 2022, 06:24:32 PM
Proof doesn't mean what you think it means. Proof would be like a ref coming out and saying it was rigged and even with that there would be questions but it wouldn't held up in court. The best thing to do here is to find real proof, not a fact that you have seen three games ending in the same result, by logic if you win a game where you win 0.1% of the time, you could still win it 100 times in a row, is it improbable?

Of course, but it is not "impossible" so if you do it then you can't say it is rigged, same here, yeah 3 games in a row is unlikely, but it is still not impossible and proof of nothing. The game play by play doesn't mean anything at all neither.
2260  Economy / Economics / Re: 'We don’t have enough' lithium globally to meet EV targets, mining CEO says on: September 12, 2022, 05:58:09 PM
I didn't know that Afghanistan is rich with that much mineral. Usually when USA goes to invade a place, they come back with those minerals as a result, to keep them there and not get them back does sound a bit like a problem. In the end, they didn't win that war to begin with, they left and left the nation to the worst kind of people, which means that we are going to end up seeing a lot of people who will question the motives.

If there is a chance that those minerals could be digging out then we are going to do it one way or another when the time comes. I am not saying that it will happen right away, but it doesn't look like it is going to be a possibility to leave them there forever neither if we need them to continue.
