I have to say Liverpool is not really playing "badly", they are just getting used to the current roster, Mane was a very important aspect of the team and him leaving means that there would be some time before players start to realize how they play. Nunez and Diaz are two players that are new, Diaz is a bit more established but still new.

This means that they will have to play better and get used to Liverpool style. On top of that Salah started to play a bit worse this year but I doubt it would be long lasting, he will get back and play better, imagine a scenario where Liverpool scored 9 goals and Salah had no goals nor any assists, that’s bad for him of course and I am sure he will get better. When all these happen, Liverpool once again be a great team.
2302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which meme coin is your favourite on: September 01, 2022, 03:18:03 PM
Both are terrible but at the very least I can say that one of them is worse than the other. I mean it is clear to me that we are talking about a situation where crypto is at a "fun" stage, which means that memes do have a place in the crypto world. But, that doesn't change the fact that this is not something that we should be trusting with since they both look like they are scams.

I know many people trust shiba as real but it is not and we are going to end up with a big loss if we keep on trying to invest into it. Hence, it is much better to invest into it much later on and not right now. That is a risky thing and you should avoid taking extra risks with no reason.
2303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 31, 2022, 09:48:23 PM
Mitchell doesn't really want "out" of Jazz, that is just a product of the rebuilding process they are getting into. Which means that Mitchell has no purpose in there, so both the team and him have an understanding that the team wasn't doing good and didn't look like they would make a big change, so in the end they just went different roads.

Donovan Mitchell is the type of player you have in a championship level team, not all by himself but he could be a second or at least third option. Westbrook could be a great deal for this, you could give westbrook and some picks and whatever, which will help Utah rebuild and would give Lakers a great player instead.
2304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2022/23 Season on: August 31, 2022, 09:35:41 PM
Icardi doesn't look like a good transfer to me at all. Cavani is looking for teams to go and Spanish league could be the destination but if offered a lot of money then he could come to Turkey. In any case, Icardi would be a good "enough" help to any team in Turkish league, he is not an ideal candidate because I disagree on the retirement thing plus there is too much "everyone stays on defense" by the smaller clubs which Icardi is not the player that can break it.

You need players that are much much more stronger, that is why Gomis still looks better even though GS got Seferovic, normally on paper Seferovic looks better, but players with the type Gomis has, gets a lot more goals because you need strong players at striker to go beyond those defenders and bully them, not "smart" players.
2305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: August 31, 2022, 08:40:02 PM
When Real Madrid is playing against a team, they are always the favorites, doesn't matter if they lose one or two here and there, we know they won't finish the season with full wins, it is obvious and we know that and this could always be the one, every game could be the one. But before every game, when you are betting, they are always the favorites and I always wager on them.

I also did that for Barcelona as well, I mean not back in the day because they have been pretty bad last year at the start, but for the end of last year and start of this year I have wagered on them too, they didn't bring in as much as Real, but they are still semi-decent in profit making purposes.
2306  Economy / Economics / Re: Have you felt the impact of inflation so far? on: August 31, 2022, 08:04:43 PM
BIIIIG TIME. I have been living a bit worse, have debt on top of that, and I haven't had a good nights sleep for a long time all because of inflation. I have been trying to find a way to make more money, or at least like an investment that could bring me money, because I do not have time to work anymore, I am already working a lot, so I needed an investment that will make an income for me and failed that too.

Crypto helps a ton, I am grateful for crypto but all the other things has shown that we can't really trust fiat world and inflation as a way of saving us, it is not going to. Governments do not even care about the high inflation to be fair.
2307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Let's talk about p2e games and what awaits in the future on: August 31, 2022, 06:10:26 PM
Unfortunately the "good" ones are not good because the unfinished nature of them are just the fact that they will never exists. People keep thinking that watching a few gameplay videos will make you understand what kind of game it will be but I can promise you that it won't be like that.

Unreal engine 5 is out now, you think games will be able to use that and build stuff that would be realistic and then put crypto in it and make it online and hold thousands playing ALL at the same time? Of course not. But I can shoot a 5 minute video showing me playing that game, it won't be real and it will not exists but from the videos you will think it might be, and that's what people invested into.
2308  Economy / Economics / Re: UK inflation to top 18% in early 2023 on: August 31, 2022, 03:05:41 PM
FED is in USA, and this is UK we are talking about. So, "technically" speaking UK could have 18% while USA having 59. But I agree, if you look at everything in price, it looks like it's a lot more in the USA as well. Don't get me started on my nation, at this point I feel like everything is 5x more expensive, maybe it is not "that" much but it certainly does feel that way.

I make 3x more than I used to make compared to last year, and I am still having hard time living, last year I was living a lot better even though I made less. That's the trouble isn't it? I mean if you made half of what you are making right now and lived richer, that should be the key factor to why inflation is bad.
2309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 31, 2022, 05:15:11 AM
It was definitely easy games for them. Roma is the one that takes my attention the most during these periods. They have turned their team from a mediocre team to a great team once again, not saying that I expect a championship from them, but can anyone say that it would be impossible for them to have such a thing?

It would be quite understandable and would be totally normal as well. This is why I believe that we should be focusing a bit towards Roma and see their games as dominant. The odds are not there yet, people are still giving them like 1.70 odds for some games that they are high favors, so if you take advantage of those games that would help you a lot.
2310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 30, 2022, 09:38:03 PM
Honestly I believe that neither Sociedad with Sorloth, nor Valencia with Cavani would become much better teams. They will do their best but when the time comes they are not the top three rank teams. Barcelona, Real Madrid and Athletico Madrid are the top three teams and the transfers these teams make are going to be just for the fourth place if they are lucky, mostly they will not be like that too.

So, just make sure that you do not get your hopes up. Sorloth at least makes sense because he is young, but Cavani is old as well and I doubt that he would be making any kind of improvement to team at all, he would probably going to be a boring one for sure.
2311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 29, 2022, 08:05:20 PM
Inter and Juventus both getting a tie, Roma of course getting a tie because they played Juventus, and Milan only one getting a win from the favorites of the league. This was a good week for Milan, they definitely look like they are doing something nice here. Doesn't mean that they will be the champions just because of one weeks result, but it is clear indicator that theyare more focused this year, that title really brought them some "seriousness" that they didn't had before.

A year ago when Inter won, Milan could have won the title as well, but they started to play too carelessly, last year they minimized that, and this year it looks like they do not have it at all.
2312  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can One Actually Do Crypto Trading As A Living? on: August 29, 2022, 07:26:44 PM
If we say "one" then it becomes a very easy question. Yes "one" can do it, but who? I can't tell you to pursue this as a business idea and start being a full-time crypto trader because you could be an amazing one or you could be a horrible one, how would I know? I have tried it before, studied a lot, and learned as much as I can and did trading for a year, and I found out that long term holding was always better for me and easier way of making money.

This is why I do not think that we should be focusing that much on trading, it is just not worth it for me. But I also know people who made tons of profit from it as well and living a great life, doesn't mean one is right and the other is wrong.

It is sure that Hamilton era is over, but the fact is that the dude has been a very gracious loser is a great aspect of him. He disliked him as well when he won all the time and acted like he was the king, because we all knew if that car was given to vettel after 4 years of domination in red bull, then vettel would have won 8 in a row after that, making it an unreal 12 in a row. This isn't some "what if" we KNOW that vettel would have won 8 in a row with mercedes if given the chance. So, it wasn't hamiltons success.

However after last years last race scandal and now after this Alonso deal him accepting fault and saying it doesn't matter what Alonso said because it was heat of the moment and these things happen. Hamilton showed that maybe he was a disliked winner, but he is certainly a very likeable loser.
2314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: August 29, 2022, 05:11:40 PM
Weirdly enough teams are having shocking results. City got a tie with newcastle last week, bayern got a tie with gladbach and now we are watching PSG getting a draw with monaco which makes no sense at all.

Monaco is a horrible team and PSG is a world class team, PSG should have won this game 5-0 easily and for some reason they ended up getting a draw. This is football we are living in and for the first few weeks, let’s say the first month, teams have given us shocking results time and time again. Every week I have "some" wins but it is mostly shocking results that made me lose like PSG vs Monaco. It is fine though, I can recoup it next week when PSG wins again.
2315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 29, 2022, 04:15:10 PM
Westbrook had 15.8 FGA last year, which is by far the lowest he had in the last 10 years, and had 44% rate which is not his worst, but the thing is, lebron is a guy who likes to drive inside and he is better at it than Westbrok, AD is already inside as a big, so the system didn't fitr Westbrook. So, he started to shoot threes of course, he had 3.4 3pa, and 1 3pm which was under 30% to shoot from threes so he stopped.

This is why he doesn't work well with the Lakers. When you look at the stats, you do not understand why he wasn't a liked player, but when you see 3.8 turnovers per game, not many FG made, low attempts, bad three pointer, and a better player who is much taller and bulkier doing it much more efficiently, you realize Lakers do not need westbrook. They needed Buddy Hield.
2316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: August 28, 2022, 08:39:39 PM
The passion is mainly because this is the biggest thing for everyone involved, which means that it is definitely going to be a rare thing to watch. This is the WHOLE world playing, how many things do you watch that includes the whole world?

I mean the champions league winners go out and play against other teams from other continents as well called "fifa club world cup" and the last time someone outside of Europe won that was in 2012, even though we had it every year. So, I am guessing that World cup is the only thing that brings the whole world together and that is why we are all interested in it, even though my nation is not in there, I still love watching it.
2317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: August 28, 2022, 07:46:58 PM
Sevilla doesn't need to win the first games, that is not the point of a whole regular season. I get that some people expect a lot of great results but the reality is that you could start badly and be better in the end.

Arsenal started last last year in the first few weeks, but they finished 5th and interestingly they are first right now this year (which once again doesn't mean they will be champions). So long story short we are talking about Sevilla not going to be bad until the end of the season. They will definitely end up going to a better place and be in the top 10, maybe not as good as last year but they won't be this bad just because of a few bad games.
2318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: August 28, 2022, 04:05:20 PM
Dortmund definitely ended up getting another win and Bayern getting a draw against Gladbach. These are two topics right now, I mean we are talking about a situation where Dortmund became SO MUCH worse compared to last year and yet Bayern became so great and got a lot of amazing players and only lost Lewandowski which they do not look like they are missing anything important because they got Mane.

So, we shouldn't really be worried about them but they got a draw against Gladbach. This is the hard part about betting on bundesliga, they beat everyone so easily, and then out of nowhere get a draw against Gladbach which nobody expected at all.
2319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: August 27, 2022, 02:58:29 PM
I agree that Ronaldo situation may not be great in United right now but isn't Casemiro coming something to make Ronaldo reconsider?

I get it, he wants to keep on improving his UCL record and even 3 goals this year would mean a lot, and he doesn't want to get paid a little because if the team he goes to sell 50 million euros worth of jersey alone, and he gets paid 10 million, he feels that is unfair, but the management is not like that, you pay that 10 million on the books right away even if the player gets instalments, you have to block that money off from the books as will be used, on the other hand the 50 million will not go in there all at once. This is why there is a bit of a problem.
2320  Economy / Economics / Re: Asset and liability, one key factor for poverty among most Africans on: August 27, 2022, 09:21:55 AM
70-80% of my income to assets? You must be crazy mate, there is no way that I could live with 20-30% of my income, how could that be? I can't live with 100% of my income to be fair right now, my salary is not enough to cover my debts but that's fine, I am paying it small by small and I am getting rid of it because I am making more money than most people in my nation and I can live easily and banks are happy that I am at least paying it a bit even if it is slow since there are many people who don't even pay their debts these days.

So, I have to say that we shouldn't really be shocked about the fact that people can't invest their money into assets like that, we need that money.
