Everything is ok except of new captchas. It's so hard for me to solve most of them...Why that?
They're purposefully difficult so as to avoid bots solving them. That said, I stopped going to the site because of this; it's just more effort than I'm willing to put in...

Sorry to disappoint you, but BardanDoyle is a known scammer; he isn't paying anyone. You should probably read the rest of the thread.

Never looked at this site. I do like zerohedge, is it anything like that? I Am a big fan of news that is not MSM but I also don't like the conspiracy junk that some people follow. The truth is usually somewhere in between.
Actually, I'd never heard of zerohedge before... guess I'll have to take a look at it as well. Thanks. As for conspiracy theories, no, they don't seem to cover that, fortunately.

China's defence spending has doubled every year since 1989. [...]
Still, isn't China's defense spending a miniscule portion of what the US spends? In fact, I think the total Chinese defense spending is less than what the US spends in research alone.

I take it you mean, what is their position in relation to the American Studies Association joining the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign? I'm not sure they have one, other than believing it to be newsworthy enough to report it. Yes, Democracy now is also a very good news organization. I also occasionally follow The Young Turks: http://www.youtube.com/user/theyoungturks/videos. They do some pretty decent reporting and commentary, and they have also started Wolf Pack ( http://www.wolf-pac.com/), with the idea of getting money out of American politics.

As I stated before, I also don't agree that banning people outright for their views is the right choice. That said, the rules over there seem to be very simple: whatever your position on a given subject, be prepared to present peer reviewed sources. That is the position of the mods there and is stated in the rules; it is a science sub after all. No one is going to be banned for that. On the other hand, if all you can do is troll the forum, banning seems like a good enough choice.

I imagine it's so as to minimize the transaction fee. I think wetsuit said something to that effect some comments back in this thread.

Payment amount has been lowered decently due to extremely high demand, sorry for any inconvenience.
Well put it this way guys, Stunna is still offering the best sig campaign in terms of BTC per post made and it is technically free money. It's not surprising that Stunna would move to become closer to the values of other campaigns seeing as there really aren't any competitors still willing to pay so much. Unlikely as it may seem, maybe this guy will actually pay out on the 25th of this month: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=345114.0. If he does, it will be the highest paying sig campaign and we may see a bit of competition.

I've been following this news site for a while now, and despite the name, they seem to have some good news pieces and interviews. This is the link to their site, if someone wants to check it out: http://therealnews.com/. And here's a recent interview they made with Ralph Nader: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPkx1SuodsE. Also, if you like it, consider donating to them, especially since they accept bitcoins.

I think this poll is irrelevant, because belief doesn't enter into it. That's the beauty of scientific facts - they're going to stay the same, no matter what you think about them. The world is going to stay round even if you really believe it's flat.
As for the policy enacted in regard to these scientific facts, that's something we should all debate. We're all entitled to our political opinion, and we should certainly have our say when it comes to responding to climate change. Hence, a better poll might ask whether or not we believe in carbon regulation and taxation, cap and trade schemes, alternative energy subsidies, and other such environmental policy. But whether or not we believe in the existence of anthropogenic climate change is entirely irrelevant.
True, it doesn't matter if we believe in gravity; we'll still fall to the floor (unless you miss the ground apparently). But when you have representatives in power (US at least) which claim that climate change can't be a problem because god told Noa that the flood wouldn't happen again (or some such nonsense), then we've got a more fundamental problem to deal with first. EDIT: and I note that while the numbers involved are obviously too low to take any broader conclusions, out of 32 votes, 40.6% are from people that don't believe humans have had a substantial impact on climate, which is worrying. Furthermore, and considering the other thread about this, they are far more vocal.

too late to stop it
Did you mean to say: humans have had a significant impact in changing the climate, but are now powerless to stop it? If so, that's kind of a defeatist attitude, considering it is acknowledging that humans at least helped create the problem in the first place... but it's also a valid point of view, and if some of the people that hold this view are voting in the "climate change is real, but humans have no impact", I should probably add this option to the poll, I guess... though it's kind of conflating two different things.

You'd be screwed if they were married or had boyfriends though Why? Unless they would be on one of the next flights in, it's not like they would be seeing each other again.

I NEVER GOT PAid. SCAM
You must make a minimum of 50 posts a month to receive payment; it isn't based of your total post count. Looking at your post history, you weren't able to meet the minimum amount of 50 posts between day 10 (when you enrolled) and day 17 (when you requested payment). EDIT: edited for clarity.

I never managed to watch 1 episode of those. But from all the references I saw in Gintama , I haven't missed anything Also , was FLCL about robots? I thought it was about nonsense. Yes, FLCL was a lot about nonsense, but nonsense involving giant robots... well, one or two of them were giant robots, the rest were about human sized.
|
|
|
The human form is not designed for fighting. That's why we have tanks with tracks , planes with turbines not flapping wings and subs with no tails. So , no giant robots fighting!
What is this nonsense? Everyone knows that humanoid giant robots are the ultimate fighting machines!* (* may require watching one or more of the following: Gundam, Macross, Code Geas, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Furi Kuri, etc.)
