2801  Other / Off-topic / Re: What Browser You Use on: June 08, 2014, 03:04:07 PM
firefox. because it supports many addons that help us more
i try google chrome, but don't like their interface
Than you'll hate the newest Firefox version
What to hate about it , I'm using it and I don't feel anything awkward with it.

He was referring to KimNam having said he didn't like chrome's interface, given that the interfaces between both browsers are similar, as of the latest Firefox versions.
2802  Other / Off-topic / Re: Apollo 11 fake or real? on: June 08, 2014, 01:57:54 PM
So I just recently thought about the Apollo 11. It Is such a big event in all history and we all meant to believe that It Is true and during Apollo 11 mission 2 man really stepped on the Moons surface. A lot of people say that It Is fake and Armstrong and Buzz actually never landed on the Moon Surface?

Read here on wiki for more information : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moon_landing_conspiracy_theories

What do you think?

There's a particularly funny talk Neil deGrasse Tyson gave about science illiteracy in which he mentions this conspiracy theory (and a couple of others for good measure): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lKtZ05XHkT0. I'd recommend the whole thing if you have the time, but jump to about 13m20s for the relevant part.

I also think taht it may be faked but we can't be sure...also ofc you can't see stars there if there is day time.

The moon doesn't have an atmosphere, so you'd be able to see the stars just fine, even with the sun overhead. But of course, as others pointed out, you can't see them in the pics due to the limitations of the cameras.

I don't think it's neccesarily easier to keep track of. If we don't have to sign up every week it's easy to forget how many posts you've done or when the cut off point is and the new week starts. I prefer signing up once every month/week personally.

It doesn't have to be that complicated; if you're told that posts for a week count up to 23:59 Sunday, server time, you'll always know exactly what posts are to be paid. Having to sign up every single week would be a lot of unnecessary work, and lots more posts on this thread.
2804  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn up to 2.4 BTC/Month by Posting on: June 08, 2014, 05:44:53 AM
Starting post: #6481 (is that what you mean? Please clarify if I made a mistake).
Bitcoin address: 1KR2NjPuyL4MWwrrMSMhbzhuGmnCQy4YYg

No, instead of "starting post", you should have the number of posts you made so far; so 194 as of my post. You can see that in your "Profile", under "Posts".

I don't like that you lost your scammer tag

I have also noticed that. That is good news for him and for the others.  Grin Perhaps he paid back the loan, which he had defaulted earlier. But the negative trust ratings are still there.

The scammer tags were removed by theymos about a month ago, and in their place, negative feedback was given to everyone who had the tag. Here's the thread detailing all that: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=603586.0.
2806  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which anime do you like to watch? on: June 08, 2014, 03:23:58 AM
i like to watch cartoons not anime. and my favorite cartoon has to be the jetsons its just amazing and the recent way bitcoin has been its felt like that time period

Was Speed Racer a form of Anime? I'm ignorant of Anime unless I look it up, albeit familiar with some of the cartoon images. You mean to tell me there's films/shows of such?

Also, I've personally seen Rassah's coffee table, if that counts.

You mean, this Speed Racer (Mach GoGoGo): http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=1787, or if you prefer http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speed_Racer?  Grin Yep, that is Japanese animation as well (anime).

Don't know about Rassah's coffee table, though. Tongue
2807  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which anime do you like to watch? on: June 08, 2014, 03:07:39 AM
Danshikoukousei no Nichijou
I can't stop laughing every time I watch this

Ah, that reminded me of another anime: School Rumble (http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=2165); also with a school setting, and very, very funny.

Please do not ask questions regarding the business, I am not the owner, thank you.

ARE YOU GUYS EVEN HOSTING EQUIPMENT LIKE YOUR SIGGY SEYZ???   *TIA!!!*

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is probably not the best place for asking that; this is the sig campaign thread, not the official Gaw Miners' thread, and EvilPanda is only running the sig campaign (and as far as I know, has nothing to do with the business itself, only the promotion campaign).
2809  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which anime do you like to watch? on: June 07, 2014, 11:42:06 PM
I haven't watched any animes, but i've got some free time, what do you recommend?

It very much depends on what type you're looking for: action, science fiction, intrigue, comedy, etc..

That said, you could try starting with Death Note (http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=4563), Code Geass (http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=4521), or perhaps Gintama (http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=3468) if you're looking for something more lighthearted.

EDIT: another series I liked a lot and rarely see mentioned these days was Trigun (http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=53); well worth the time, I think.
2810  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which anime do you like to watch? on: June 07, 2014, 09:37:47 PM
Actually I don't even know what exactly are anime.I do watch animated movies some times.Has it something to do with that. Wink

It depends on their source, I guess. If those animated movies are Japanese, then it has something to do with it. Grin

EDIT: an example of one such animated movie is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Howl%27s_Moving_Castle_%28film%29. And here's an example of an animated series: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghost_in_the_Shell:_S.A.C._2nd_GIG.

What if I am?
It is me. Can't there but be one?

Is this an attempt at a quote from the Highlander movie?

Exactly. He always disappears over the weekend and goes many days without even answering people's queries or confirming users. Then he comes back, most people get payouts even though many are not what they're supposed to be, and people still stick with him. Bizarre. I don't see how people can put faith in that system for an entire month when there's been problems every single week. I think he's just struggling with it himself. He should've took the help bitcoininformation offered.

True, he probably should have accepted bitcoininformation's help, but after what happened with Howzar, I can't really blame UpDown for wanting to take care of everything. And, as you say, he's probably struggling with having to handle the campaign by himself; in that sense, yes there have been problems, but I (and probably most people that are willing to stick with the campaign) don't see it as intentional, and hope it will go back to normal before the month is up. Could be wishful thinking, but still... Tongue
2813  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: June 07, 2014, 07:40:46 AM
I'd avoid UpDown.bit. Many people still seem to have not got what they were owed and the new limits now make it less appealing, not to mention you've got to wait a month now wondering what money you're actually going to get at the end of it.

It wouldn't be so bad if the person managing the campaign actually showed up long enough to answer questions and explain the current situation; a couple of minutes, 4 days a week is not really enough. Tongue

Other than that, I'd give it the benefit of the doubt and join for a month; if UpDown was online long enough to confirm my application, that is. Roll Eyes
2814  Economy / Services / Re: WE PAY FOR SIGNATURE EVEN MORE. UP TO 0.0016 BTCs PER POST. WEEKLY PAYOUTS. on: June 07, 2014, 05:28:02 AM
wondering when I will get paid?

It's probably not related to this, but have you noticed that your signature is a bit different than what it should be? It seems to be missing the upper dash. Tongue
2815  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Want to buy btc on: June 07, 2014, 04:30:54 AM
Buyer and seller just need to use escrow and nothing can go wrong, even if someone has a very bad negative trust rating.  Cutting out the middleman SHOULD get you a better price as well, as long as you negotiate that.

Well, that still depends on the payment method. If someone is trying to buy with paypal or so, I'm not sure there is much an escrow can do if the buyer decides to reverse the transaction (by claiming his account was hacked or something).
2816  Economy / Gambling / Re: Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: June 07, 2014, 04:20:11 AM
now there are free dogecoin every hour http://freedoge.co.in

Did you really need to post the site with your referral link, and then edit it so that it doesn't show in the text?

Guess you must really want those dogecoins... Tongue

UpDown.BT, could you please confirm if I can join this campaign, or if all the places have been taken already?

I'd like to remove my application for this campaign; I'll hopefully join at a later date, when things are running more smoothly around here.
2818  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: June 07, 2014, 04:00:26 AM
ask !
example :
UpDown.BT signature limited into 60 participants
Is there any chance that UpDown.BT signature change / roll over their participants to new participants or it already fix forever Huh

Hmm, I'm not sure UpDown has reached 60 participants yet; but if they have and if you wanted to join them, you'd have to wait for someone to quit the campaign first before being able to join. Other than that, there might be openings if a member gets banned from the forum, or receives negative feedback from a forum user in the default trust list.

UpDown.BT, could you please confirm if I can join this campaign, or if all the places have been taken already?
