2461  Other / Off-topic / Re: What Browser You Use on: July 21, 2014, 10:50:47 PM
Firefox has worked very well for me. It never crashes and seems to be secure
Although its more secure compared to chrome but never feel sure about it, I use Mozilla too and it has some good addons for security purpose but still i got hacked few months back. so just a heads up.

That's a bit vague - Firefox (or any browser for that matter) can only do so much to protect you, and then, only in its domain (mostly while browsing). And of course, if you start installing things left and right, or lack other security essentials, you're in trouble. Tongue

Haven't we already answered this particular type of query?

Would it really be right to say we've answered any such type of query, given that we've only been asking questions around here?
2463  Other / Off-topic / Re: Happy 45th Moon Landing Anniversary, Earthlings! on: July 21, 2014, 10:04:04 PM
It seems strange that we manage to get on the moon at that time but after all these years we still haven't been able to offer tours there.

Well If you would have enough money to sponsor the flight to the Moon you can do It even Today, It just costs to much, also I read somewhere that there are planned missions to the Moon in 2019 again If I'm not mistaken.

Yes, there is a NASA manned mission to the Moon planned for 2019 - 2021, using an Orion spacecraft, but I think it's just a fly-by; they won't actually land there, unfortunately, but just stay in orbit for a few days and then return.
2464  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your dream job? on: July 21, 2014, 09:43:46 PM
Play Videogames for a living Grin

PLaying video games would probably be my dream job but that isn't going to happen.

Well, there is more than one way to get a job like that: being a pro at something would probably be the most pleasant way, though hard; on the other hand, you can also apply for a position of beta tester, or some such. It might get boring after a while though, with all the bug chasing. Smiley

I'm looking for a new home as my current plan ends tonight or is probably already over as this place seems to be on UK time. I read the OP and so basically I just fill out the form and add the sig right?

That's right. You might notice that the enrolment form sends you onto the claim page straight after submitting. Usually you have to hit submit again (on the resulting claim page) in order for the process to complete and add you onto the list that Stunna holds.

It may have changed since then but that was my experience when that occurred. I tried several times before that by only filling out the enrolment form and it didn't work.

Hope that helps and welcome aboard!
Done and done, much obliged!

You might also want to fill in the "Bitcoin Address" in your profile now; it isn't strictly need before claiming payment, but it might be better to do that now than to forget later. Tongue
2466  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: July 20, 2014, 05:59:32 PM
should I give stunna every month a trust rating ? Or just once?
Every month one positive from every user here would be too much?  I don't know the trust system very well.

Personally, I give feedback after every month. I'm not sure that's the best way of going about it, especially with the amount of members in the campaign as you mention, but I think that is what you're supposed to do: "record" every individual trade you're involved in with the trust system, even if the participants are the same. Now, of course you're not forced to do so if you don't want to. Smiley
2467  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: July 20, 2014, 03:12:58 PM
I am currently testing out primedice's campaign so I will tell you guys how that goes by the end of the term. If you post a lot primedice definitely seems like the most valuable campaign to invest in, because if you post 400 times a month as a hero member (if you post that much you probably already are a hero member), you can make 0.48BTC a month, which is a heck of a lot of money.

I think it's safe to say that most people interested in sig campaigns know of PrimeDice already. Wink

And yes, it's probably the most trustworthy campaign in the forum, and if not the, one of the longest running campaigns. Also, participants from last month were just paid a total of 30 btc (distributed among 100 - 200 users).
2468  Other / Off-topic / Re: If you could move to any country, which would you choose? on: July 20, 2014, 03:05:54 PM
australia and new zealand. they have some treaty that allows you to travel between the two countries freely without travel visa if you are a permanent resident.

Are you sure you want to go to Australia? Will you be able to fight off the native life there? Grin

2469  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is anyone following the Israel & Palestine Situation. on: July 20, 2014, 02:47:08 PM
1.First, because Israel is violating international law by occupying territory that it shouldn't, creating settlements in that land, and by the way it treats the Palestinian population.

2.Secondly, why "Israel is in a better place to judge"? Shouldn't it be "Palestine and Israel are in a better place to judge"? I guess this represents part of the problem:

3.if you take into account only what Israel wants and ignore what the other party wants, the way to peace isn't easy, because you're going to have to oppress the other party.

Here we go again...

1.What is the limit of their land ?

2.Sure, Palestine and Israel should negotiate, but i still don't see the legitimacy of UN, seem the beginning of a world government and i don't like this stuff.

3.Not only, but as i said their is better chance to obtain peace if Palestinian have reasonable claim. It's a problem of moderation.

1. You can start with where the Palestinian population is being expelled from their homes, to give place to Israeli settlements. As soon as settlements stop, the blockade ends and peace negotiations resume, they can decide on that.

2. Come on... conspiracy theories now?

3. The Palestinians want peace, and to be treated like humans, not animals. It's seems a reasonable claim to me.

You've mostly asked all this before, and were answered. Did you actually read any of it?
2470  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is anyone following the Israel & Palestine Situation. on: July 20, 2014, 02:37:26 PM
I wouldn't blame Palestinians for Hamas.. any more than I would blame Jews for the Israeli government.
and i don't blame Americans for George bush. (im just glad that big mistake is over)

In a democracy you only need 51% of the voter support to form a government.. not everyone.

Hamas was elected in 2012 with more than 50% support, and the level of support has increased ever since. If the Palestinians were serious about living in peace, then they should have given a chance to the more moderate parties.

As I've just said, Hamas has recently agreed to all the terms the Quartet had imposed on them when they joined with the PA. It's hard to demand more of them; and in fact, when they agreed, Israel canceled the peace negotiations, which is telling in my view.

Hologram, this is the third or fourth thread in which we've been discussing this, and you always go back to saying the exact same thing. Please do us both a favor and research this stuff; this information is public, so there is no excuse for anyone not to know it: there has been a peace proposal which virtually everyone accepts as being fair, and which only the US and Israel refuse. Hell, even Hamas has offered more concessions than those present in that proposal when it recently formed the unity government with the PA.

You still don't explain me why this majority is legitimate to talk on this issue. History have not a good record on what the majority think it's fair... Maybe Israel is in a better place to judge ?

Actually, I've explained it on the previous three or four threads, though you've obviously ignored it every time. First, because Israel is violating international law by occupying territory that it shouldn't, creating settlements in that land, and by the way it treats the Palestinian population. Here, I'll explain. It's easy, really: in order to oppress people and take their land you need to spend a lot of money. If you stop trying to do that, you don't need to spend that money. Did that help?

Again Hamas are good people and don't want just kill all the Jews, they will stop terrorism if Israel give back few square kilometer of land delimited by a treaty Arab don't accept cause they preferred try to kill all the Jews...

EDIT: So that there are no doubts, the concessions Hamas agreed to when joining the PA were recognition of Israel, non-violence and adherence to previous agreements; those were the conditions that the Quartet had imposed. In response, Israel canceled the peace negotiations.

Not only that, but overall the expenditure in security is pretty high - all conveniently passed on to the Israeli population, and so they end up with a higher cost of living.

logical hole

But that is all the more reason for Israel to stop the illegal occupation of the Palestinian territories and the settlement of their land, stop the blockade, and move towards a peace settlement; instead, they are just making sure they will be spending even more in the future by escalating this conflict.

there is an economic problem too, Iron dome cost 30 time more to fire than an Hamas rocket, if they don't attack Hamas they would be ruined fast.

2475  Economy / Speculation / Re: URGENT, Bitcoin is on the verge of collapse !!! on: July 20, 2014, 01:00:09 PM
Does igorr have any reasons why Bitcoin would collapse? Bitcoin is useful. Useful things don't collapse.

Remember,
Bitcoin is not money, and never will be.

No matter if Bitcoin is money or not, it's useful system. Why would people abandon such useful system?

Why would people accept such a system ?

Perhaps you missed the part in which he said that it was a useful system; hence why people would accept it, and why there is increasingly more interest in bitcoin. You're not even trying as hard to troll nowadays, are you? Wink

France has sizeable Muslim population. Muslims would mostly support the Gazans.

That might very well be true, but these demonstrations have been going on a little all over: France, UK, Germany, Turkey, US, New Zealand, Norway, Argentina, Sweden and Australia, last I checked - I'm sure these aren't all just Muslims making up the demonstrators either.

You are right, muslims wouldn't support Israel. It's not likely Israelis would join in this demonstration  Wink.

Oh sorry, I completely missed it; yes, there were anti-war demonstrations even in Israel, which is a good sign: http://countercurrentnews.com/2014/07/pro-peace-protests-are-sweeping-israel-right-now-and-israeli-jdl-fascists-are-freaking-out/ - unfortunately, never very far from counter demonstrations, it seems.
2477  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is anyone following the Israel & Palestine Situation. on: July 20, 2014, 11:28:52 AM
[...] anyways I think we are going way off topic here... but the balkans is not a very good example of religious tolerance. Just ask anyone from Bosnia or Kosovo.

maybe there is a lesson to be learnt here.... the Palestinians should stop violently resisting and the Isrealis should stop violently oppressing. because on both sides it seems not to be working.

I think at least part of the reason for the violent resistance on the part of the Palestinians (even though they know they can't possibly win militarily) is due to the fact that when it ends the reporters go home, and they're left with the reality of being under occupation. After all, according to the diplomatic documents leaked by Wikileaks, Israeli policy towards Gaza is to keep the population at a level of survival just above that of an humanitarian crisis; policy towards the West Bank is to take over the important areas, displace the Palestinians living there, and beat up or kill whoever resists - the rest can live in whatever is left, cut off from the outside and with no long term viability if a two state solution is ever implemented with current borders. And of course it doesn't help that Israel isn't particularly interested in peace or negotiations while it has the upper hand.

This isn't to say that I agree with Hamas' tactics, or that I believe that violence is the best way to handle the situation - I don't - but the truth is most people wouldn't even be talking about this now if it wasn't for the escalation of the conflict.

Some people give negative trust for selling accounts (it is allowed though).
And new buyer probably don't want to make it public so using new account for selling is better.
Almost every account seller here works this way.

No, I think he meant: why didn't Dark_Vader use his Senior Member account (in whatever it is that he does in the forum Smiley) instead of just trying to sell it; hence his previous question of whether or not he was just a reseller.

what a load of BS Smiley

Hmm, looking at your post history, that really is a lot of link spam jdebunt; almost all of your posts serve no other purpose than to spread links to your articles. I'm not even sure you can argue all those are constructive and relevant to the discussions going on in the threads you participated in.
