Is this the highest paying ad campaign?
It depends on how many posts you make, I guess. If you don't usually do many posts, you might want to look at a campaign that pays for a fixed amount of posts, usually something like 50 a month; these tend to pay better, but you only receive payment for those 50 posts. This campaign on the other hand pays per post, with a high maximum limit of posts; so if you usually do more than some 70 posts a month, then either this or FXO is probably more profitable. Take a look at this thread to get a better idea of what each campaign has to offer: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0.

I think you two can just be honest about it and say that you want to join one of the other campaigns as soon as possible. After all, anyone who looks at your recent posts will know that already. Ok I'll be honest Yeah I want to join other Campaign if this one is ending ..! no on asked you to pass a judgement on my posts they are somehow better than yours..! and if you go through once again ..! Ok forget it I don't want to indulge in any kind of argument further on this thread and would like to keep it clean Thanks # Peace . I didn't mean to say that your posts were in any way bad, nor did I try to compare them to mine; I just meant to say that anyone could easily tell of your intentions to join another campaign by looking at them, so there was no need to beat around the bush, so to speak. After all, everyone else signed in this campaign is probably thinking the same thing already.

That's certainly an interesting idea; if you are lucky enough to refer a heavy spender, I'm sure those 25% will pay far more than the sig campaign. On the other hand, sig campaigns don't depend as much on luck, so I suppose most will prefer not to take the risk.

It's too bad that I only recently found out about these signature campaigns. Was wondering why people were posting ads in their signature for a while but not enough to find out why. Just wondering....why do most have a minimum qty of 50 posts for payment? I never track my posts so it's hard to say how may I make but why would they care if you make 1 or 1000? Would think they would have an upper limit instead of a lower one. That is a good point. It makes sense for campaigns that pay for a fixed amount of posts, and in that case it serves as a maximum and minimum amount. I can only guess that for campaigns that pay per post however, it is either a residue of previous times when the forum rules were different and they wanted to ensure the participants were active, or if it is just a way of saying that if you don't post at least that much, you're not worth the tx fee. And they all have a maximum amount, I think; it's just that in the race to see who could pay more they got carried away and the limit is too high for anyone to actually reach it (3000 posts a month for Ritz for example).

Easily 12+ hours a day. Hell, if the Internet was a country I'd probably apply for citizenship It isn't? I thought it was the newly discovered Neuland. As for me, and like most others here, I spend most of my day on the internet; certainly over 12 hours a day, with some exceptions.

You forgot to include the alt text for that comic: I can't remember where I heard this, but someone once said that defending a position by citing free speech is sort of the ultimate concession; you're saying that the most compelling thing you can say for your position is that it's not literally illegal to express.

So, would you be willing to use escrow with this, perhaps by sending in adequate collateral? Otherwise, no one is going to trust you.

The test wasn't even remotely close to scientific. That test is like pointing a box fan at a house and saying it's tornado proof cause it didn't fall down.
A single bike skid mark, and sneaker wear onto the glass. If you've ever done that on an actual smooth surface, you could do the same thing (wipe off the sneaker / bike mark with water). Try it with a tire mark, see how long it takes.
Unless it's a hurricane, I don't see that helping.
Regardless, they now have the money to go through with more rigorous tests like they planned, and potentially even start the project on a small scale. I guess we'll find out soon enough how well this will work.

There's should be random captcha checks when posting. Not everytime you post though, just sometimes.
That would be a considerable annoyance, and to be honest, I don't see how it would solve the problem; the bots would be unable to post as often as they do, but you'd still get hit with most of the spam. EDIT: I guess you could ban users who repeatedly failed the test, but that seems extreme (and with the potential to affect real users). On the other hand, maybe simply flagging those users for closer check, could help find the bots a little quicker.

Wow, they are currently at $1,256,771 raised, out of the $1,000,000 they requested, and there's still 6 more days to go. Not bad. i think it's genius. the sun gives us more energy in one day than the whole world uses in one year. i would invest if they were publicly traded.
I'm investing for the sake of mans future, but being able to earn otherwise would be a nice perk. I read an article today about that; it goes into how other campaigners have in the past been bought off by large companies, leaving the initial investors with little or nothing to show for their support, and how that could be avoided: http://falkvinge.net/2014/05/26/solar-roadways-please-learn-from-oculus-mistake-and-become-a-co-op/.

I use Firefox. I dont like Chrome, it steals my information and use it against me..... through the ads... who knows what else google can do with it?
Just like people steal information about your hair color, height, sex and other variables by just looking at you and remembering what you look like? This has already been discussed. I use Chrome. That's a crude oversimplification of it... so, here's another: if it is always the same person and he takes notes of everything you do all day long, you might be dealing with a stalker. Better be careful.

I was wondering if ritz can let us go earlier and pay us for what we did up until now, dont understand how the ROI hasnt been good so why stay a few days longer and bust out and pay us now so you will have less to pay out, will save you btc.

already posted same question a day ago, didn't got any reply yet ..! looks like we have to wait till 1st, no problem in that either.! Being immortal is nice.
That could backfire pretty badly though. Imagine being effectively immortal and locked away in a cage somewhere for all eternity. Well in that case I would hope that I was a smart enough immortal to install a self destruct option on my body Since I am immortal things that would normally kill a person would not apply So a suicide type of attack might come in handy instead of being captured and tortured for all eternity lol. For actual immortality, I don't see how you could possibly find a way to kill yourself; it would be in contradiction to the whole concept if you could. Of course, this being mostly a "magical" attribute, as no organism has ever been found that was effectively immortal (tardigrades being close, but not quite there ), I guess there is plenty of room to imagine how this could work, and how one could get out of an unpleasant situation derived from it. Now, something simpler, like not aging, would have some of the same benefits of immortality, plus you could still die by other means if the need arose.

The number of nuclear warheads in the world is alarming, even if it is just considered as a deterrent. What would it take for a country to actually deploy one?
Most of the super-powers are having advanced air-defence systems. Even the best Intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBM) will not guarantee you that the nuclear weapon is actually dropped in the enemy territory. That's why you can sneak in using a sub and launch the nukes from off the enemy's coast; the very short flight time will ensure there is little to no defense. This option is limited to only a few countries, though. But in relation to the anti-missile systems, I was under the impression it was mostly for show, with the system having very low hit rates. I guess part of the controversy about the missile shield installed in eastern Europe some time ago was because of this, and I remember a more recent American test that produced the same disappointing results. I suppose this hasn't really changed all that much in the meantime?

Send about half of that money to NASA and let them get on with manned missions to every planet in the solar system already. Do people hate us? Sure they do and what we really need to do is use EXISTING megaweapons to wipe all the wannabe Osama bin Ladens off the face of this planet. We don't really need to make any more.
Or, you know, capture them and get them to a fair trial. Killing people indiscriminately will tend to make people hate you even more. You mean, let them murder people first so they can get their day in court. I didn't say anything about "indiscriminately;" that's what intelligence is for at the best of times, so you know exactly where your enemy is. We'll see how you feel when you get caught in the middle of the next 9/11. No, if you can get at them only after the fact, capture them and bring them to trial, like it should have been done with Bin Laden; no need to murder anyone else. And in a sense you are advocating indiscriminately killing anyone who you suspect will be the next Bin Laden. And up to a point that's what is already happening with drone strikes; too bad it's poorly gathered information that ends up "killing" the phone of a suspect, plus anyone unlucky enough to be nearby, innocent or not. But again, I have to stress these are suspects that are being killed. Call me naive, but when possible and in the presence of evidence of their plans, I would like to see them captured and brought to an international court, where the evidence against them had to be presented before they were punished, instead of leaving their fates to the whims of a small, unsupervised and unaccountable group of people that gets together every Tuesday to decide who to kill next.

I PM'ed Stunna and now I am happily re-enrolling
Starting posts: 2664 Bitcoin address: 18wBGvJwBSnj9ZyeQ4p7z8f9JCTfe71Z2Z
I probably made a mistake since I posted 17 messages since then and I have 2665 so I had 2648 when I enrolled!? Do you guys think I will get paid for the 17messages? It could have happened that you posted the correct value of starting posts, but some of your older posts were deleted in the meantime, or a thread in which you had previously posted was deleted. This would lower your total post count, but not affect your posts since signing up to the service again. As for whether or not this is the case, and if it is, if you will be paid for the posts, I have no idea.

our system is showing that surfer43 has been changing the signature back and forward. From us to pd and back. sorry dude, you broke the terms and conditions.
Seems i was right, he did ban someone for jumping No, as I said, you couldn't change the signature midterm, which is what he was caught doing. So, if you sign up to Ritz on day 1, you have to stay a month with the signature (until payday). If you change it before then, like he did, you don't get paid. But nothing ever stopped you from collecting payment from PD on the 17th, then signing up with Ritz and collecting on the 1st of the month, then signing up with PD again and getting paid on the 17th (and so on). That's perfectly fine as far as the rules stated in either of the campaigns. Basically, what surfer43 was caught doing was trying to signup to both campaigns at the same time, and just change the sig back and forth on the paydays, to receive for the same posts from both campaigns. That was obviously against the stated rules of both campaigns.

Ritz banned members who jumped between campaigns if I'm correct. On the other hand they're paying you for a certain amount of posts, why shouldn't you be able to change campaigns after doing your job and getting paid?
No, neither Ritz nor PD banned anyone from doing what he was describing, that is, as soon as payday comes for one campaign, change to the other. What you obviously couldn't do was to change your signature midterm to receive from one campaign then change back to the other and get paid for the same posts. But it could be a good idea to impose some limits on the campaign, either on the total number of participants or a smaller limit on the total number of posts one can make per week/month like FXO has done. I guess this would also help cut down on the spam a bit.

well I am committed to ritz for now. I see what is going in in June when I have been freed . I do like 1 week payouts.
The weekly payments, as well as the upfront btc for Hero Members, are only happening during the first month of the campaign though. As you can see in the OP: UPD: During the first month of the campaign payouts will be provided on a weekly basis. But let's hope UpDown decides to keep this, as it really is much better than waiting a full month before payment.
