3541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trying to invest in Binance on: October 13, 2020, 06:19:28 PM
Leave something for Bitcoin even if you just buy a tiny bit of it if you're really into staking or holding alts.
Probably the topper coins would already be enough, and I am not sure if there's still a reason to go way below the top 20 at minimum.
Most of it from my experience are just for day trading anyway.
3542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which wallet do you think is the best? on: October 13, 2020, 06:17:05 PM
actually until now I still use Myetherwallet and only use private keys to access my wallet, even though like that I still don't have the courage to keep many assets in myetherwalet wallet, because if you only use the private key the security is very lacking, until currently I use 2 wallets that support cryptocurrency, one of which is a trustwallet which we already know about its security.

Careful sometimes though.
Are you using the one that generates a wallet file for you?  Make sure you bookmark the actual page of MEW because I encountered long time ago a phishing site for it when I was about to claim my token from an airdrop.
3543  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What actually makes a token pump? on: October 12, 2020, 02:59:58 PM
I'm starting with DIA. It is listed on top exchanges, has good partnership, the team isn't relenting and its price still drops drastically. So, I put up the question to learn with the trend on what actually thrives the price of a token/coin?
Good partnership, but is the coin being traded actively?
There are many cases in which a coin fails you know and that's quite common actually.
The supply and demand from basic economics is what contributes to the price of the token or coin, OP.
Consider the hype as well, but hype always dries.
3544  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Voted best trading platform on: October 12, 2020, 02:58:12 PM
Hello, according to you, which Bitcoin trading platform is best for newbie and professional investors? Personally I use Binance and very satisfied, the exchange stability, high speed and no margin.
Well everyone would say Binance, but let the new traders explore first on what exchange they can try. We also got Bittrex, Coinbase Pro, Huobi, and Bisq for DEX.
Binance is a good starting platform for newbies as well as overall trading platform for experienced traders but there's plenty more of exchange to be explored. Just don't tread too far in exchanges though as some coins are faked in their price and volumes.
3545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin and exchngers and others on: October 11, 2020, 04:56:14 AM
so how do we know that crypto exchngers dont sell us the coins what they dont exisit?

and how do we know those big funds who bought or pretinding to buy or sell some big ammounts of cryptocurrency `?
how do we know they dont lie us ?
I don't even know that there are such fake coins bought  sometimes.
Just avoid treading too far in those exchange that aren't that known and probably you would feel comfortable enough to buy more.
Check its reputation globally, because I am pretty sure that exchange with fake reviews exist and they could be reviewing through Youtube videos or any sorts of paid articles.
You can't just tell a fake exchange by looking at the site with the naked eye, OP.
3546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which wallet do you think is the best? on: October 11, 2020, 04:44:46 AM
Which wallet do you like the most? Personally I really like Exodus, the only con is that it's not fully open source, but other than that it's a great wallet!

Are there any wallets which allow you to have multiple addresses?
Whenever you hold the private keys and it isn't directly controlled by a third-party, consider it as the best wallet for security.
There isn't much you should look for wallets mostly except your security.
Avoid online wallets as much as possible, even if support from the devs is there, having issues is already annoying in the first place.
3547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s next for Libra? on: October 09, 2020, 05:40:25 PM
It's been almost a year, since I last heard something from Libra huh.
I already forgot about the project and I believe the hype died that's why we aren't getting any news lately or I am just plainly wrong because a big development could've happen.
Regardless of what happens anyway, I ain't convinced to invest to it although I use Facebook, it doesn't mean I support everything that comes from it.
3548  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone accidentally sent or received BTC to and from another address? on: October 09, 2020, 05:36:06 PM

Dusting attack seems like a just a new word in my ears but I think it was just accidental to be put into your wallet though.
I never experienced sending to a wrong address of even in an incomplete address like missing a single digit.
All I know is that when you send to a different coin wallet that isn't part of an exchange, I think the coin is lost.
3549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the Faith of cryptocurrency after this pandemic period. on: October 09, 2020, 05:32:30 PM

It's already happening, although we will see another correction in the future. There will time for bitcoin and altcoin to back to increase, although we don't know when it will happen. The cryptocurrency will take a position as an alternative payment solution, and maybe people now are learning more about crypto so that they can use crypto without a problem. I believe that cryptocurrency has a bright future, and it is just a matter of time.
Correction is already part of the market. It has been there since I learned it the hard way from my first trade back in 2017.
Now for the alternative payment solution,  that'll take time. Especially for Bitcoin, it'll take time for merchants to realize how can it be feasible as an alternative payment solution. Not all are focused to techs considering, maybe this phenomenon could make people lean into technology but I don't think that cryptos would come first into their minds.
3550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's your favourite coin and token ? on: October 09, 2020, 05:24:32 PM
I guess I should focus now on the security and privacy advantage that Bitcoin can offer. I was just looking to its history and price before that's why I just tend to stick with it.
Decentralization is being overlooked by many people, but it is more than a definition of Bitcoin actually.
3551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is to be the beginning of the rise of cryptocurrency on: October 08, 2020, 05:25:40 PM

Crypto space didn't die, so there's no point of saying that it is starting to revive. It is alive.
Maybe you're identifying the bull run as what others mentioned here and not being in a bull run doesn't mean that crypto died. It is just taking its time for a bull run, well not for the shitcoins of course, they stay shitcoin.
3552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safest cryptocurrency wallets on: October 08, 2020, 05:25:33 PM

Coinbase is a known exchange but using it as a wallet which you'll be holding your assets, I don't think it's appropriate for that use.
I'll trust using Electrum than it for that purpose.
Or a single Ledger Nano S if one has a spare money to buy one.
I've seen some people holding their coins in certain exchange just because of earning a one-digit percentage of APY, while risking their security from it.
Even if it is popular exchange, you can't say that it is also popular for its security. Community support =/= Security.
3553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you find out about new projects? on: October 08, 2020, 05:19:53 PM
~
I guess this might be a bit useful for me when there ain't no new projects popping up here in the forum.
I ain't in the mood yet to throw my money at new projects these days after the ICOs days back in 2017 although that would be a really long time, I lost a lot during that time.
This forum is quite enough for me to search for projects that could potentially be profitable.
3554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Enough is enough! Good bye Bitcoin! on: October 07, 2020, 04:36:36 PM

I think you just won't have access to exchanges or trading sites, but you can still hold it. There's a piece of knowledge that I think you forgot and that is that Bitcoin is a decentralized asset.
I just hope that the OP didn't fully throw all his cash to Bitcoin though.
3555  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Yeees it's happening on: October 07, 2020, 04:31:14 PM
~oops forgot to snip~

There's just potential adoption I see whenever I heard or read news about new crypto ATMs being established. It's just that my thoughts are circling if people would even think of stopping by an ATM and think of "wow I would now want to buy a Bitcoin".
I just think that a lot of people even heard Bitcoin through the internet and from that they also buy it from the internet as well.
3556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people avoid bitcoin? on: October 07, 2020, 04:23:59 PM

There are a lot of things to be considered first, mate.
It isn't that easy to just jump right into using Bitcoin, just because it is that easy in your point of view.
There are many reasons like:
- People think that it is mainly used by criminals. That was my first thought to be honest after I get a few peeks about the deep web and dark web.
- Volatile price. Nothing more to be explained further than this.
- Regulations
3557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I like to collect the token on: October 07, 2020, 04:14:47 PM
Honestly, I can't find an argument. I got countless tokens by participating in thousands of airdrop at the beginning, most of which are not worth anything. So for me, there is no point in having this kind of token.
Just a piece of lesson or just a piece of experience for you to be wary of whatever airdrops are you joining next time. And understand that most of it would be just a waste of time anyway, with the risk of selling your identity because of some obvious KYC policies that some airdrops impose to whoever plans to join it.
3558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: airdrop bounty project idea website question on: October 06, 2020, 05:58:38 PM
so instead of me joining on twitter faceboook or telegram is here token / coin creators who are intesrested to add their projects on my up coming webpage?  so  then ill get coins/tokens.
ill make a website its about coin news new icos bountys and so

and website will be shared on fb here and other social media as usual.
im looking for coin token creators who will be ready to promote their projects on my website:)
That might seems a really long journey.
You must first be like in front of the crowds, because why would I, assuming that I'm a token creator, be using your website to promote my coin if my token wouldn't even get a lot of attention.
Considering that you have that degree of popularity in Facebook, how would you standup to everyone's timeline?
3559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOW CAN ONE KNOW A FAKE AIRDROP? on: October 06, 2020, 05:55:16 PM
I also want to add this tips, there are fake airdrops just made  by scammers to steal money in our wallet. They often copy the name of a coin or project already listed on the exchanges to make  fake airdrop and at the end he force us to send some little amount of eth for gas fee to send our airdrop token into our wallet. So if we will see an airdrop of a coin or token that already listed on exchanges, just search the coin/token official main  group chat and ask the admins if they have an ongoing airdrop for verification, so that we do not fall victim to this kind of scams airdop.
I wonder if there were legitimate airdrops that did this like sending a little bit of eth, because it seems like people are still falling for this kind of scheme.
Isn't like a red flag for a giveaway to take something from their participants? I mean it contradicts the word "giveaway", if you're the one giving something.  Huh
3560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where can I sell ERC20 coins? on: October 06, 2020, 05:52:33 PM
~
That's the real problem which is the gas, and you mention EtherDelta alright it's a decentralized exchange that runs on Ethereum blockchain but I tell you all DEX are the same, there is no FREE because nobody can send any ERC20 tokens in Ethereum blockchain without gas I hope you get it.
That became a struggle for me actually when I sold my AION back in the days when it was still sitting in my MEW. Took me a lot of gas to put it in EtherDelta which is the first exchange I sold my tokens ever.
I guess it's just like my experience in sending BTC.
