361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain solution for Pension system of Primary school teachers of Bangladesh on: August 24, 2020, 02:45:57 PM
Ah, it is always so refreshing to hear any kind of good news that are related to the crypto currency industry. This year has really been heavy for a lot of us with all those calamities happening around the world plus the corona virus pandemic. Just wanna express how happy I am every time I see some good news here because it benefits my bags as well if good things continue happening for this industry. I hope that because of good news like this one, people who are wary of bitcoins or any other coins in this industry would start to open their minds for the innovation that this industry can offer to the world.
362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Scam victims on: August 24, 2020, 01:43:28 PM
I feel so sorry for you man. I really am. Because I think there really is too little of a chance (if there is any) for you to be able to get back all those losses. This is because I too learned the hard way. It just so happened that I am lucky enough to not lose as much as what you have lost plus loans. That's why I really wish everyone who are just about to enter this industry would really put in the effort to do a thorough research about this industry. Because things like these happening only make the crypto currency industry look bad for the general public. Im not saying literally that you didn't do enough research because in some cases people just get caught off guard but you really should have been cautious. I hope others may learn from your story and be cautious about everything in this industry. Because it never hurts to be too cautious. Id rather be called paranoid than to lose my assets again.
363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Taxes on Bitcoins: Unreasonable or essential? on: August 24, 2020, 12:55:43 PM
Well, what can I say? Greed is everything in this world. When it comes to greed, most of the people in this world would go to extreme lengths to satisfy themselves. Even at the expense of others. As long as they get to satisfy their own greed, they don't care about anything else. And which place can you find the greediest of the greediest? Of course, the government. If tax is present in a country when it comes to bitcoins, then nothing else to do but to live with it no matter how unreasonable it may be. Small people like us are just powerless against governments.
364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy Bitcoins before the upcoming banking crisis states author of Rich Dad Poor D on: August 24, 2020, 09:33:42 AM
The problems mentioned are so real that a lot has already been experiencing the effects of these problems which then pushes almost everyone to look for better alternatives to protect their assets or to gain better profits. Whatever the case, the fact still remains; bitcoin cannot be you main investment. It can be good though but not as much as solid investments that you can still turn to if worse comes to worse. Bitcoin should be the last option and only have a portion of your overall investing plans instead of bed ng the primary. At least that's what I believe.
365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good news on: August 24, 2020, 09:01:46 AM
It is easier to believe in this dream so fast rather than search thoroughly through everything and get a reasonable decision. Let us not get ahead of ourselves yet. Bitcoin's hash rate doesn't carry that much weight in terms of security of investment profits or price surges assurance. There can be many factors that can either minorly or drastically change the price of bitcoin. In fact, I even expect a refraction before investing time comes for me.
366  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be carefull Newbies! Fake exchange promocodes scams on: August 17, 2020, 11:14:29 PM
Man, that's just awful. Lots of people may have fallen already for that. Specially now that times are tough and people are desperate. It is really infuriating to think that even in a situation like this, all these type of people can think of if to scam others. I bet that lots of newbies may have already fallen for this. Sigh. Well, it is what it is. You just can't be too careful in this industry. No one should really let their guards down.
367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you thought you had found the real satoshi with 99.9% certainty ... on: August 17, 2020, 02:55:45 PM
Again with this. Seriously. The guy doesn't want to be found. If he wanted to, it would be too easy to find him. But since it has proven to be difficult for most of the people to find out who satoshi nakamoto really is, then he obviously put effort in staying hidden for all these years. He never even touched his wallet. I just wish people would just respect the guy's wishes and let him be. Of course we admire the creation, but it's not like it would be impossible to continue to admire bitcoins just because we don't know the real identify of the creator. Just a piece of my mind.
368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Blackmail E-mails on: August 17, 2020, 01:40:07 PM
Oh my god. This is really so scary. If it were me, I really would have panicked so much that I wouldn't have the right mind to think properly. With situations like this, it really makes me believe that bitcoin is truly a huge gamble regardless of the trend because just by holding it, if you do not have enough knowledge on how to keep your possession safe, you may lose everything. I kinda wish thee were guys that hunt down people like these who scam others. Like a crypto police or something.
369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make old people understand Bitcoin? on: August 17, 2020, 01:07:00 PM
Well, this is the very problem of almost everyone here who wants their parents or grand parents to even consider learning about this industry. There really is no easy way of teaching older people about this industry. Specially the ones who are not even into digital stuff and still uses keypad phones or does not even use phones. The even more difficult problem is that most of these older people do not want to open their minds about this industry. Which is then even harder for us to make them understand and teach them even the most basic parts. It's just sad that this happens a lot :/
370  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SEC looking for more tools to track crypto on: August 10, 2020, 04:20:48 PM
Well, things like these are already to be expected since we already have know for a very long time that ever since bitcoin made a huge wave and got noticed, big people and most governments wanted to have control over bitcoins and everything related to it. The big people wants to stay in control. Security has been used a reason way too much and they are taking advantage of this reason. This may sound as something out of a movie but it's true enough that lots of people are slowly realizing it. This is my take on everything happening today. Not just in this industry alone.
371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do scams harm Bitcoin's reputation in the mainstream world? on: August 10, 2020, 02:55:00 PM
Of course it does. Heck, even scams unrelated to bitcoin contributes to how people see bitcoin since it naturally looks like a ponzi scheme. And so, despite the fact of bitcoin not bing a scam, people see it as a scam automatically since they are already wary about all the scams they have seen through their entire life.

Now, in regards for the question of how to distance bitcoin itself from scams, it is entirely impossible. Because there will always be people who would take advantage of anything for their own greed even if it means giving pain or problems to others. Although there may be many ways or ideas that may come to people's minds on how to make this happen, they are only ideas or dreams that cannot be applied onto real world situations. In short, it's just entirely impossible.
372  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Hoidex on: August 10, 2020, 01:25:51 PM
First of all, doing a Google search it appears that there was an attempt to at least create the platform/site. You can see from the image below there was some content there...

Never said the site wasn't indexed on Google though. What I meant was I don't know how people end up on that site without the exchange even having any social media presence at all; because it's pretty safe to assume that these scams are mostly spread on social media.

My exact thoughts. I mean, I am quite active in this industry and use a couple of exchanges out there it really bugs me how people have managed to find this type of site or exchange. I mean, all legit exchanges do advertise themselves right? That is normally the case. But however, with this one, I never even seen a single advertisement about it. If there was some, it wasn't that widespread. Which makes its credibility even less believable due to its inability to get itself known.

Just my opinion.
373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The BTC Times: A new Bitcoin News Site on: August 10, 2020, 12:32:00 PM
This actually is a good news site. I really do like its content. The simplistic design is cool too. Honestly, I prefer black backgrounds in websites or anything actually 10x more than white or other colored backgrounds since black feels more relaxing for my eyes. And as of now I am using my phone to browse and I can say that the news site also works good on mobile devices as well. Great job for that. That being said though, there are still quite a few sites better than this one at the moment. But I will surely do add this on my favorite news sites. I'm the type of person that prefer more sources than just a single one.
374  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin might never reach it's ATH anymore on: August 10, 2020, 11:29:48 AM
You know what, you are absolutely right. I really couldn't agree more. But the thing is, even if we ourselves do it, not everyone would be able to see this post. And not even everyone in all the people who would get to read this would even consider the idea since obviously, greed will overpower them or get the best of them. Well, if people explaining things like this would work, it would have worked. A long time ago already since i have seen countless people who had expressed almost the same thought. Sadly, in reality this isn't just possible to happen.
375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we need bitcoin? on: August 02, 2020, 09:28:10 PM
Look sir, it's not that I don't get your point but Bitcoin being the way it is, I think you only see a fraction of what people use it for or need it for. Just because a person uses bitcoin, doesn't mean that they are about to or doing something illegal. Some people just want a bit of privacy while others use this industry for a living, an investment, a more practical way of sending money overseas, or for an extra source of income. You see, just like money, it only turns bad when it is used for bad. The same goes for bitcoins or any other coins in this industry. But if literally speaking, the world doesn't really need bitcoins.
376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the chances of bitcoin taking another dive? on: August 02, 2020, 05:45:26 PM
Honestly, when it comes to bitcoins or any other crypto currency in this industry, nothing ever really surprises me that much anymore time has proven a lot of times that things that may seem not possible can really do happen and it can do so in just a few hours or overnight. Which is why in regards to possibilities in bitcoins or any other altcoin out there, I really take them all into consideration and not rule them out. May be a bit more tedious but as what you can see, it never hurts to be too careful when it comes to your funds in this industry.
377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what did the author mean? on: August 02, 2020, 03:29:39 PM
Moving average is quite important when it comes to trading specially in this industry. But if you are planning to trade, this is a not so good idea if you ask me. It is better to not get involved in shitcoins since it obviously is what it's name is saying. Shitcoins can make your money disappear in a single moment. So if you plan to risk on these type of coins, better read a bit about those coins and observe. Choose a shitcoin that isn't that much of a shit(if you know what i mean). But even so, it doesn't guarantee much of a gain and much more tedious. I suggest that you go for good coins with good credibility. While it may not make you get 2x-10x profit, it is quite safer than those shitcoins.
378  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Investors Rejoice As Bitcoin Price Surges Above $10,000 on: July 27, 2020, 07:30:07 PM
Lol. As expected in this industry, as long as there is good news, the price goes up a lot. That's just how it is in all of the other crypto currencies here in this industry, not just bitcoins or etherium but all of them. And of course, since the prices are going in a surge, kost of the people in this industry if not everyone rejoices. I mean, who wouldn't be happy seeing their investments doing good and gaining profits? It's completely natural. It has been like that every time in this industry, if you are new to this then welcome. I suggest you take notes so that you don't get shocked every time things like this happens. Lol.
379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are back with another trick. Be alert!!! on: July 27, 2020, 06:34:21 PM
Well, the people who would still get scammed by this are really dumb or stupid. Lease do excuse me for saying such things but it is just what I think about people who get scammed by such ways that can easily be recognized by most of the people in this industry. I mean, you must really be so gullible to be fooled by these type of hacking schemes. Things that are too good to be true must really be too good to be true. Do your own damn research before you jump into this industry or learn the hard way. This is clearly a rookie mistake. I just hope that newbies in this industry would at least do enough research about how things work here before even get ng to invest to avoid lots of people getting scammed.
380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin replace Gold someday? on: July 27, 2020, 04:07:22 PM
Hate to break it to you but no matter how hard we dream about this, it really isn't possible. The very first and most important reason is the physical existence of gold. This is the biggest asset of gold that bitcoins will never be able to beat. That's just that.  Second will be the age and recognition gained from people. These other two qualities of gold are also very hard for bitcoin to beat. Since clearly, bitcoins are too young and has very low popularity compared to gild itself. Those are just the three big reasons that I think are blocking bitcoins to overtake gold.
