3681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safest trading strategy on: May 15, 2020, 05:56:49 PM
Good advice, but I won't recommend people to hold stable coins like USDT for too long. Sure I use them to keep my profits but I tend to still not hold it for too long as those can be frozen.
Better be safe than sorry.

3682  Local / Pamilihan / Re: COINS.PH FAKE GIVEAWAY PHISING ITO MGA KABAYAN on: May 15, 2020, 08:36:18 AM

3683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New exchanges worth my money???? on: May 14, 2020, 04:14:31 PM
Just start with Binance for BNB, and for other coins, I am not sure about it though.
Don't stray too far in strange or not that known of an exchange, as pretty much some exchange tend to freeze users fund ending up to be a moneygrabber that we always know.
3684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange security questions on: May 14, 2020, 04:12:01 PM
I don't think I could rely on biometric securities that's why I don't even put them in my phone. I believe those can be stolen from what I searched so far.
In regards of 2fa, I think it is unlikely for you to get hacked from that unless you lose your phone of course. Regardless of talking about security and exchange, there was never "perfect security" as hacks and exploits will always be there that's why site maintenance happens.
3685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need your help guys! on: May 14, 2020, 03:27:30 PM
Doesn't seem like an organized project for me.
Slider layouts in the site is quite common theme already and hey the most important part is : where is the team?
I don't see any image of the identity of the members of the team, and all I see were only bunch of obvious stock photos in the main page.
What is backoffice anyway? I never saw any that kind of section in any project I visited whenever I look for legitimate projects.
3686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The bests bounty campaigns in the Altcoin section to join right now. on: May 14, 2020, 03:20:18 PM
Good thread for bounty hunters, OP.
I would suggest putting up the name of the BM in each campaigns as some people tend to include managers as their criteria on joining the campaign whether the manager built a reputation or is starting to build a reputation just yet. Smiley
3687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much have you earned in one year on: May 13, 2020, 04:57:47 AM
How would they feel if they have nothing meaningful to withdraw at this pandemic period and just looking at their wallet helplessly. How much have you been able to cash out in the past one year.
No one knows how much income the members get in this forum for one year, if viewed from the projects they participate in, (it's an individual secret), we have no right to find out someone's wealth.

If you talk about a particular individual's wallet being empty and not getting anything during a pandemic it's just luck for each individual.

The answer is easy.
Example;

If you open a business/business but in one year it did not work or make money/profit, aka bankrupt, it's your risk in running your business, open a business in the coming year and improve good and professional strategies, next year you will get good results.
I kinda remembered the thread asking the same question long time ago.
Claiming they did around 3 digits per project. Not sure if it just random numbers they throw at the posts but it seems hard to get that amount even in one project.
Can't imagine how stressful bounties would be if you worked in it for a year without stopping.
3688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to take advantage of any market situation on: May 13, 2020, 04:53:05 AM
"instantly".
Meh never expected the halving to trigger the bull run instantly.
It is slowly happening right now so we shouldn't worry, in fact even before halving we saw the price going around 9k - 10k. We can expect more than that after the halving but not for it to happen in the blink of an eye.
3689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How would you view an ICO project if it was launched by an accredited lawyer? on: May 13, 2020, 04:51:21 AM
let's say that an ico conducted by an accredited person, a lawyer has more confidence from investors and perhaps is less at risk of scam but this does not mean that it will be successful and will meke earn the investors this nobody can know it until the end of the ico
Lawyer is surely gonna be confident but the investors I don't think so.
Having someone popular or somehow reputated to get into crypto is like the same way as the launching of Libra Coin of Facebook by Zuckerberg.
It kinda reduces the risk of the scam because it is surely a popular platform, but earning from it? I don't know.
3690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Extra weeks added to bounty campaign on: May 13, 2020, 04:46:59 AM
Sometimes extending bounty duration is like expanding the results of the bounty campaign, I don't see anything wrong here, give a good use case and I will promote even if it's over 23 weeks
Yeah extending isn’t a bad even it’s apart of bounty campaign, teams have right to change their general terms. But it’s matter about of allocation, it would be increase. Rather you didn’t expect 20$,50$ rewards instead of 23 weeks. Meanwhile we seeing mostly bounty did extend without increasing. It's seems worst changing in bounty.
Sometimes it kinda sucks, but hey it is gonna be an extra earnings due to extra weeks given.
I've read a thread yesterday about some bounties having "phases" of payments.
That's what people should probably avoid. It's synonymous to saying that payments are about to be delayed, even though at some cases delays are pretty much understandable..
3691  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Easiest Way For New Traders To Profit From The Crypto Market on: May 12, 2020, 05:38:32 AM
Especially for someone like me that have little to no experience in trading, this kinda sucks for me and it will never be easy for me.
I was day trading before as my first trading strategy and now I wound up just long-term holding Bitcoin just to play it safe.
Kinda lost my initial funds intended for trading even if I watched some tutorial. Goodness me. Cheesy
3692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am feeling Regret on: May 12, 2020, 05:36:07 AM
Careful of saying how much you're holding, you should've just said that you regret not cashing it out when BTC was in 10k.
You should probably transfer it into a wallet where the private key is handled by you.
Never hold that large amount of money in an online wallet, trust me.
3693  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to store money in regular currency when not trading? on: May 12, 2020, 05:33:32 AM
As what everyone mentioned already, it would be Tether but as mk4 said. Don't hold it and you should read the thread that he linked.
Not sure if there's any different wallets that holds USDT without holding it in a trading platform or any exchange.
Worse comes to worst, you should probably cash it out for now.
3694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The success of IEO is Exchange on: May 12, 2020, 05:29:39 AM
Sometimes it is kinda meh.
Even if it is partnered with popular exchanges like Binance or Bittrex, it is still up to the project as its own whether it'd be a success or not.
A shitcoin is still a shitcoin regardless of the exchange that it is about to get listed at.
3695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Covid-19 Question on: May 12, 2020, 03:47:23 AM
Coronavirus keeps getting outta hands in countries like Italy and France and others, things keep getting worse with the disease every day but I surprised me is the affectionate to crypto, it seems to stop affecting crypto already what do you think?
Things are getting back to normal I guess Roll Eyes. At the start of this year the price of Bitcoin was affected and that’s why it fell to a lower price. And it’s not just Bitcoin that was affected by the pandemic, a lot of other cryptocurrencies got affected. But the market has been recovering as of recent, and a recent article on Coindesk is signalling that there might soon be a FOMO and the price will go very high above the current.

At the present time I am drowning in excess of the damage caused by the corona virus. It's a very bad time, no one knows when this situation will end, when will the COVID-19 epidemic end? When will the coin market be normal again ??
Nobody knows when the Covid-19 pandemic is going to end. There are lots of people who are fighting towards that, and a lot of scientists in different countries are fighting hard towards finding the cure to the Coronavirus. The vaccine that is being talked about would take a lot of months before it’s released.
Everything's gonna go back to normal for sure. We're already seeing Bitcoin going back slowly to 5 digits even though it already had one day.
We should focus surviving this pandemic instead, and market will follow.
This time it is the market that'll follow us in this situation.
3696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to become a professional Trader (PRO) ? on: May 12, 2020, 03:37:52 AM
This thread suits better in the Trading Discussion, OP. You should move it there, plus if there's reference you get that info, you should put a link into it.
Newbies would appreciate reading those tips at the board I mentioned rather than here.  Smiley
3697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top exchange listed bounties is getting sucks on: May 12, 2020, 03:35:08 AM
Was that the original plan of the bounties you mentioned or were they like the original rules? I wouldn't even think of joining that Cartesi you mentioned if there was like Phase 1 - 3 payouts.
Honest pay on honest work.
How long did each phase of payouts last?
Kinda felt bad that one of the bounties you mentioned postponed the payouts.
3698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does the ICO have a future in 2020? on: May 08, 2020, 06:07:06 AM
It looks like you are only counting for the scam project but you are not aware if there was a lot of successful icos.

It's better for you to visit this site https://icodrops.com/ and look at the previous ico list and there was a bunch of successful icos. The future is still really bright.
based on the data from this site it can be seen that the relevance of the ICO has decreased significantly compared to 2016-2017, people’s opinion is interesting whether anyone is following the ICO, or many have switched to IEO ?
They indeed started to disappear within those years although I still managed to join some at year 2018, and there were quite a lot but not really as many as you think that time.
IEO replaced ICOs and don't worry, IEO is still a subset of ICO but they just have different means of how they work such that the project requires to comply to the requirements of the exchange before they get listed.
3699  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin popped $10 000 on: May 08, 2020, 05:27:10 AM
As of typing this reply, it just went back around 9.8k.
It is still a soft breach so we can't expect it to go higher that easily.
Like halving is about to approach now, this is to be somehow expected.
The pandemic as well as the halving kinda affects the price right now. Maybe we could've expected higher in the price if the virus didn't hit the world really hard.
3700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO SCAM on: May 07, 2020, 06:53:08 PM
Didn't know the ICOs still exist apart from IEOs.
Putting up research would do, but be careful not to get deceived by the ratings of ICOs. Remember scammers aren't gonna do it unprepared, as they might make a paid review just for the so called "advisor" to rate their project good even if it's BS like you mentioned.
