3741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BOUNTY PUNISHMENT, TASKS ARE TOO DEMANDING on: April 11, 2020, 12:50:53 PM
Masulum is one bounty manager that handles good projects without doubt and make due diligence in stakes calculations and he is always detailed to the later. Here is his profile link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1283017, he handled ShengWorld, SPYCE https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5231395.0  and others nice project. I have been trading SPYCE on BW before they had their bounty project. Nevertheless he seems to be too tough on his community who participates on his bounty program which is something not too good. For example, in his rules, he demands signature campaigners to make a minimum of 15post per week and a maximum of 3 post count per week, a good bitcointalker should be through with his post in 5 days at 3 per day, although if mode deletes one post at a dead hour without one been aware, one will loss reward for that week. And his social media campaigns like the Linkedin is 6 post per week and a maximum of 1 share per day, one really need to on a high alert in other not to work for free.  Some of my friends had to back out because of the strict and tasky rules, while some will have to lost their reward due tasky work.

I want you to share your experience working with this BM as regards the rules and task, do you equally think he should review his rules? I hope he sees this and read it. He is a good manager though who never fails to resolve issues and very detailed.

I don't have any experience with any of those BMs you mentioned, but in my opinion I can respect those rules at least if I am one of their participants.
Do you mean by 3 posts per day at your post?
I think that's quite fine for a rule to avoid spamming and burst post because it is surely common to people these days like one would even make 10 posts within an hour which is kinda insane.
I can't say what's the standard for social media campaign, but from signature campaign, it is quite okay for me to have those rules. You have the choice anyway to join or not.
I think you should be at least okay with those because some would even be more restricted by making minimum merits which is also nice to filter out spammers.
3742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: CMC Misleading new projects on: April 11, 2020, 12:11:18 PM
Maybe or maybe not.
I've known Binance since my first day of day trading, and I would be surprised if their takeover would lead to just a flat result before they even got CMC.
I never knew that CMC were listing shitcoins still, and good thing I don't really tread too far below the top 10 coins there.
Sometimes traders should also not just depend on someone to eliminate these shitcoins listed but instead use their diligence also.
3743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: List of cryptocurrency exchange hacks on: April 11, 2020, 12:08:09 PM
OP, I read the site that you referred.
Just a suggestion
Since the list entirely came from the site you referred, it would be nice if you could directly link each line of the exchanges that got hacked to the exact part of the site so that people wouldn't scroll down a lot to read the news itself.
3744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will stablecoins be the future of cryptocurrency? on: April 10, 2020, 06:13:48 PM
We can't speculate in terms of utilization yet OP.
Although traders practically use USDT mostly in storing their profit from their trades to stabilize it rather than hodling it in another currency to avoid losses from volatility.
I see it being a stable payment system over Bitcoin, but I don't think Bitcoin will stay volatile for a long time so we never know just yet.
3745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learn and learn and keep learning will safe you from lots of foul play on: April 10, 2020, 06:08:57 PM
No matter how loud your voice is, ignorant people will still continue to exist.  Roll Eyes
The desperation and greed are already part of the market and it will continue to exist because everyone eyes only anyway to get rich no matter what the risks are OR how it is done.
In terms of ads, I never trusted ads from Facebook as it could be made by bots sharing posts automatically.
3746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from centralized wallets on: April 10, 2020, 06:06:59 PM
In short, you're pointing in online wallets.
Yes and newbies should know that their private key should be upon their responsibility and not by someone else, because it is their loss in the end as they are the one putting their moneys in those wallets not the devs behind the wallet, well maybe minor losses from service charges but the users have it the worse damage.
Consider also OP the exchange wallets as it has become a habit for some people to just be lazy and leave their funds beside an exchange.
I remembered the hack in Binance during August 2019, and people should learn from that.
3747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need help in baunty. on: April 10, 2020, 06:03:42 PM
Ain't worth it, bud. I would suggest you to stay off these giveaways as it is written in the rules.
In the end, you wouldn't want your identity sold to some random people only for the sake of their so called "research".
I was a victim of joining airdrops before wherein I entered my email address then good thing there ain't no strict KYC rules there but my email got messed up by phishing sites for claiming tokens.
3748  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Difficulty choosing a trading platform on: April 09, 2020, 05:16:01 PM
You should probably check first the tutorials in Youtube on how to trade in certain exchanges like Binance, as it is a good and reputated exchange to trade at. Just be careful to not spend for tutorial courses if you're not really committed to one, because I've seen quite plenty of Youtubers offering those.
Make a new account already in Binance, and worry about the other exchanges later on when you're starting to get hang of it.
3749  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't trade what you can't risk loosing on: April 09, 2020, 05:13:46 PM
If you're trading, don't trust too much  in social media. I've seen plenty of posts already in Twitter from random people about their thoughts in BTC plummeting at a certain price. It is just merely speculation and don't get caught with it because surely/nearly 100% you're just gonna lose due to FOMO which is pretty common in this market.
@OP
Is that a news from a twitter post you quoted or it is just a random guy's tweet?
3750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to escape loss as an altcoin trader on: April 09, 2020, 02:19:52 PM
~
Well no strategy is completely full-proof or perfect. There will be pitfalls but these will be understood clearly when the strategy is being actively used.

So it is always theoretically seeming correct but errors do pop up and so trading will incur some losses on the part of the trader. Using a stablecoin as a central pivotal reference does have its consequences.

The Tether is not completely trusted to be a part of the cryptocurrency ecosystem but I think you can use it to your own advantage. Still the problem is Tether breaking down and getting hacked or stolen is always there.
I've tried before in my day trading to convert it to USDT and it seems like a good strategy to extract your profit from your capital anyway.
I did not trust Tether also before because it seems like way too immediate to have a stable coin backed by USD like we all know that is regulated and regulation isn't going so well in cryptocurrency sometimes.
3751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PLUS Token Scam Dumps Another 13,000 BTC - Another reason for the BTC drop? on: April 09, 2020, 02:16:00 PM
13000 BTC means nothing in the crypto market or even in the BTC market alone.
These kind of news whenever the market bleeds means nothing, they just try to find that " why the market is bearish ", they simply forget the fact that this is how market works, waves of ups & downs till eternity, old news, nothing new about this.
Meh, I think that's kind of a large amount actually although I won't fully count that incident to be the 100% reason of this bearish market we're currently having.
This ain't 2010's no more to say that 13k BTC is just a small amount.

@OP
I had read this news already before the day you posted and I think that we should be starting to see a bit of a recovery now, because it seems like many have already bought when the price was still like stabilizing around 5k that took a while to breach 6k.
3752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you really think news can change the Crypto Market Sentiment very easily? on: April 09, 2020, 12:15:08 PM
Yes. The right nws will set the prices ablaze and the wrong news will shrink the prices of tokens. News is everything in business cryptocurrency is not left out. If today sec rules in favour of Bitcoin, Bitcoin can do a 100%/50% from here within few hrs. News is everything in life.
Some news aren't though, as some are just merely speculating without a backup data for it. I heard that speculators are saying that Bitcoin will plummet to 4.3k and look at where are we right now.
In the end, we can't blame it anyway as any of us are still speculating also from our optimism as well as hype.
3753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Best Project 2020, suddenly stopped! on: April 09, 2020, 12:13:40 PM
Even the project name itself, I would say that "are you really sure about this?".
I never even heard of that project before nor it landed in one of the top threads here in altcoin discussion anyway.
At this pandemic, newly created project is kinda risky to invest right now and you can't expect people to still buy a lot of crypto right now, because I don't think that's merely in top of their minds right now.
3754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bot attack bounty thread on: April 09, 2020, 12:03:17 PM
Just report the whole thread. I am not sure if it is a valid one since it is not entirely beyond control of the OP on how many participants decided to join, unless it can be tracked by IP or so.
Better message the bounty manager for that, because that would be annoying for this forum only to know that it is obviously farmed by only one person in the end.
3755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto currency ready for next season??? on: April 09, 2020, 11:57:10 AM
Too early to speculate anything, OP.
Give it a few weeks or so before trying to make a conclusion of a bull run or the opposite.
Some people would expect a lot from a single increase but it is just a small pump then get disappointed after a bit of decrease.
3756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is KYC bad for crypto? on: April 08, 2020, 05:41:00 PM
This whole crypto market is full of scammers and cheaters. And maybe kyc is one of the option that could help to fight this scammers. We all know kyc is fully against the purpose of crypto ,the whole scene. So better if we could manage other ways to fight scams. But now when many countries are adopting crypto the kyc or id proofs a stuff are going just common. So somehow we have to accept it. But for me kyc is not one and only option we should find other ways cause it's violate the basic idea of crypto.
Although you could see it like that, we still never know that a scam project is a scam project as KYC document could be easily faked by someone. We're using crypto almost in a decentralized way anyway so implementing KYC is gonna be hard and not necessary at the same time, just my two cents though as this isn't regulated frankly by the governmennt.
3757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In what way can the crypto world help fight against Covid 19? on: April 08, 2020, 05:38:34 PM
I appreciate these kinds of effort, because it just shows that in any way even those who are in a decentralized system would still be able to help at this pandemic.
Still it would be more immediate help to just donate some mask or start producing mask for the frontliners and take care of the event later after the pandemic.
3758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LEGALIZATION OR DARK ECONOMY??? on: April 08, 2020, 05:27:45 PM
After we launched banking, I often ask myself what the crypto community will choose: a dark turnover of cryptocurrency and a ban from different States, since this is not controlled, even the creation of a wallet OR controlled development , but at the same time a huge growth of cryptocurrency as we saw at the end of 2017!

Both options have their pros and cons!
What does dark economy mean and what do you mean by dark turnover?
I don't think that every states would ban it anyway and in fact some are even legalizing the user of crypto and supporting it because of the convenience it can give without getting into too much trouble of submitting documents.
In the end, we don't have a choice no matter what other people chooses in your choices because it is a decentralized system after all.
3759  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The right mindset needed for all traders on: April 08, 2020, 05:25:13 PM
Hopefully the newbies would be able to read this, because I am pretty sure that many of them will panic at these kinds of situation.
The volatility of the market leads them to an impatience and that should be remedied by at least discipline.
I would advise OP to at least share an experience from how does these mindsets can help traders especially the new ones, because words are easy to say rather than done sometimes.  Smiley
3760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Moving from erc20 tokens to Bitcoin on: April 08, 2020, 04:18:00 PM
Dunno what TrackCoin is.
I was supposed to advise you to do it in ShapeShift although the rates there before were kinda insane last time I converted which was long time ago.
Supposed that you're hodling a still-alive coin, doesn't the exchange you're currently trading at would have the option for you to convert it to BTC? I think most of exchange have those conversion.
