381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Spending more or less money on Casino this Holiday season on: December 11, 2023, 12:15:01 PM
The end of the month every year is what everybody is waiting for throughout the year, because this is the time you get your Christmas bonus and other bonuses like 13th month pay from other countries, because of the huge money coming in this holiday.

Are you spending more or less on casinos this holiday season?
I voted for no. I already received my 13th month pay from my boss, but it doesn't mean I will already spend more in gambling. I still stick to my set budget (even before) for my gambling activity because that's what I can only afford. This is the time for me to buy gifts for my loved ones and prepare for the celebration of Christmas and new year because it also serves as our family reunion. My budget and time for gambling are still the same and it's better this way because I can discipline myself.
382  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you regret also for ever knowing about gambling? on: December 11, 2023, 07:42:26 AM
So I was wondering if some folks here too feel the same way or it was just a matter of grudge and hatred for the particular fellow to stir up such arguement.
It's not right to blame the person who introduced gambling to you because in the first place it's your own decision to play and you have an option to stop at anytime. If you became out of control it's because of your own action, for not not having discipline despite of the risk. In my case, I don't regret to know about gambling. I started playing card games when I was young with my grandma. It became our bonding when she was still here with us.

Nevertheless, Gambling has a positive and negative effect (and I am guilty for experiencing its negative effect when I became out of control before). But it depends on the gambler itself how he/she treated gambling because that's how you'll know if it is a good influence or much better to just stop since you can't play with a main desire of having fun.
383  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: December 11, 2023, 02:12:23 AM
I am also baffled about the use of the terms investment here too.  Is it the money use for gambling or money used to invest in a gambling platform which in return will give a person some passive profit in depending on the platform profit?

I do not think that funds used in gambling activities (betting and wagering) can be called investments.
Well, It can still be considered as an investment since you're using your money to gain although in a much risky way and no assurance at all. I don't think this is a big deal since we have our own perspective regarding on the money we use to gamble. If it's an investment for you so be it, if it's a throw away money, that's your decision.

Anyway, holiday is near and long vacation is approaching. What slot games from play'n go can you recommend?

385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers should not believe in first game win trap on: December 10, 2023, 09:23:50 AM
Playing for the first time is not the basis if the gambler is going to become addicted or not. Regardless of you win or lose when you first time playing, it still depends on your mindset towards gambling. Is it a way to make money or just for entertainment?

But there are people who see losses as an indication to just stop because of that bad experience. While others chose to continue to somehow recover back their money. Some of us believe that winning can trigger the gambler to keep playing, it might be true. But again, it depends on how you treat gambling, how you value your money to risk in games where luck is a major factor to be able to win. Because if you have no discipline and just let your emotion control you, certainly gambling can affect you negatively that can lead to addiction.
386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling for newbies on: December 10, 2023, 07:12:26 AM
Hello everyone, as you can see I'm new here, I'm looking for recommendations for a game to bet some money that I don't mind losing, I would like recommendations and if possible a recommendation for somewhere that teaches how to play. Thank you very much. Grin
Well, it's easy to learn a specific game. If you have one in mind, you can just search and watch it on youtube to see how it works. Some games also have a demo mode where you can play for trial without spending any cents, that's a good start too.

Anyway, what do you prefer? If you don't mind losing then just try any available games on the casino where you're going to gamble (and it would be better if you chose the platform that's in your signature space).
387  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: December 10, 2023, 04:02:31 AM
Anyway RLB is back on track, still pretty low compared to their last ATH which was above $0.2 but if it stays above $1.5 then that would be pretty decent already. Instead of RLB pumping up, I really wish for the transaction volume to increase so that I would get bigger share from the pool. Well hope you guys picked up some from the last time I posted about RLB on $0.14
I bought additional RLB when the price move downward from 0.2 something to 0.18. Then I stop monitoring the price for a while. Just now I check the current price, still pretty good compared to the price when it was first started so I will just keep holding.

Guys its not healthy to follow the price of a token from a casino or a not so big token in the intradiary or intraweek, or even intramonth, you can see so much volatility or fluctation to the price like we see this week, but that doesnt significant any. So chill and enjoy.
Well, I agree but we can't refrain those who prefer to monitor the price often if there's a huge changes. It's not really healthy especially if you're easily influence of your emotion after seeing the price either turning up or down. Anyway, we have different strategy when it comes to investing so we know better what to do.
388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Interview for sports bettors. on: December 10, 2023, 02:16:23 AM
1- How long have you been gambling in sports?
Since 2016. The same year I became aware of many online casinos.

2 -What are your worst experience in sports betting?
Going all in for being confident then the result is not what I expected it to be. That very moment I also learned that upset can happen at anytime.

3-What are your best experience in sports betting?
Of course winning a decent amount.

4-What can you advise on the new gamblers and those who struggles in sports betting?
Don't pressure yourself. Keep in mind that in sports betting you can maximize your chance to win the game since it's not entirely based on luck. It's an edge to have a knowledge about the team and the game where you are going to bet. Therefore, use it to have an advantage.
389  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: December 10, 2023, 12:35:05 AM
Basically the user opened the account without reading the terms and conditions where it was written that KYC is not required while creating the account but KYC must be done while withdrawing dollars.
This is often the mistake of gamblers who are not taking time to read the rules before playing on the particular casino. Common reason, they thought every casinos have similar rules which they are already aware of. Then after experiencing a problem, that's how they learn it's different after breaking one of it.

It is very problematic for the citizens of those countries where gambling and casinos are completely illegal by the government because citizens of those countries face official trouble if they submit valid documents to gambling sites.
The gambler itself is at fault in this situation since you can't access a casino if your country is restricted unless you use a vpn. Therefore, from the beginning, the gambler already know the consequences of his/her action but still chose to ignore it.
390  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should trading be for the rich? on: December 08, 2023, 05:41:40 AM
Should trading be exclusive to financially comfortable and rich because of how risky it is?
Anyone can trade as long as you have knowledge about it. However not everyone are able to profit and succeed in trading. Because it's not easy as it seems and one should know how it works and be aware of the factors that a trader must know in order to minimize the risk of losing money. The advantage of a rich traders are, they're not affected for sudden loss and still able to trade again since their capital is not limited. Losing is inevitable in trading sometimes. So if you're a kind of trader relying solely in your profit in trading then worst case happened, it will probably hurt you financially.
391  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Looking to sell a computer to raise money to invest in Bitcoin. on: December 08, 2023, 03:17:14 AM
I'm 19 years old, living in Korea, and I'm thinking of selling a computer to raise money to invest in bitcoin. I think I can sell it for about $600. I get about $100 a month as an allowance from my father. $100 is only for personal use, not for living expenses. I've been using these $100s to buy bitcoin for a few months now. It's ridiculously small money, but I believe it could be quite a lot of money if I keep saving it steadily. Is selling a computer the right decision?
Why not? If you don't need a computer then do it. Your purpose on why you are selling is also to invest in Bitcoin and for me that's better. Because the money will be use for investment and that's a wise decision.

On the other side, your $100 budget to accumulate Bitcoin is already decent amount. If you started few months ago, then certainly you are already in profit since the price of Bitcoin already had a significant increase. Are you planning to hold for long period?
392  Economy / Economics / Re: The power of investment choices on: December 08, 2023, 02:07:10 AM
It's not enough having an investment plan, knowing the right choice to make for every investment defines the investor better. Take for example jumping on every new coin we find on reputable exchange might not be enough guarantee that coin will do well in the future.
Indeed. Planning is necessary but it doesn't guarantee anything if you have no idea of what you are getting into. Still, having a knowledge plays an important role when we're investing, it is needed so that our plan can have a good result. Anyway, there are many new coins launching everyday that can tempt the investors to ride for the possibility of having a decent profit. Many of us wants to earn quick and don't have patience to wait longer. That's why even it is quite risky, they opted to invest in coins without real use case and just existing because of hype.

We have to keep in mind that we are investing our hard-earned money, therefore it's just right to always be wise on choosing what coins to invest in if we don't want to lose our money.
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin is more profitable? on: December 07, 2023, 07:26:29 AM
Just one bitcoin
Bitcoin is the most profitable crypto to all investors. Bitcoin is the first digital asset to hit the crypto market. In fact it was more profitable for its early investors.
Bitcoin is the single coin that pays the most for an individual's profit. Bitcoin is the most trusted cryptocurrency in the world, especially when we invest. Bitcoin is the only currency to invest long term and never risk. But we know that investing in an altcoin often involves risk and losses, but Bitcoin does not. So Bitcoin is the only currency that is most profitable in the crypto market.
Indeed. Bitcoin is the most trusted and less risky compared to altcoins. Because it's already proven to be a profitable investment even before. There are times the price is turning downward but if the investor has a long patience to wait for the price to recover, certainly it's worth it. Old investors already know this because they're already long been here to witness the history of Bitcoin.

However, there are also alts that are worthy to hold (the established coins) therefore it's not bad if you like to diversify to maximize your profit once the bull run occur. However we should be careful because not all coins can climb up when bull run takes place already.

395  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is not very easy; it took my friend a long time to understand. on: December 07, 2023, 01:06:51 AM
I have been watching my friend very closely; he was very impatient with trading. And this impermanence keeps him at a loss most of the time, which is really very frustrating and sad for him.
There's no shortcut in trading, one should take time to gain knowledge because that's crucial. If he can't follow the basic rules, then he will likely fail especially for being impatient.

But a few days ago, he came to me on his own to learn about cryptocurrency and trading, which was a complete surprise for me.What's even more surprising is that he is now a registered member of the community. And l also read several posts on the forum saying that he is now much better than before, patiently trying to work on crypto, which I'm really glad to hear.
Well, that's good to know. Maybe he already realized what he's lacking. Sometimes committing mistakes are not that bad since that's how we will become aware of we should do next time. Trading without knowledge is like gambling therefore we need to exert an effort to learn first before deciding to trade.
396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You At Any Point In Time Blame Who Taught Or Led You To Gambling? on: December 06, 2023, 05:55:27 AM
How about have you at any time blamed the one that led you to gambling in your mind, or even told him face to face?
I won't blame the person who introduced me to gambling. Because even he's the reason why I came to know this addictive game, it's my own decision to continue playing. No one force me, it's my own will. Therefore if the effect of gambling is not good then it's all because of how I gamble and not because of the person who introduced it to me. If you lose, that's your fault for deciding to play despite of the risk. Thus, if you can't bear losing your money much better to refrain from playing.
397  Economy / Gambling / Re: QuitGamble.com - Free Help for Problem Gamblers on: December 06, 2023, 02:40:00 AM

Gambling is dangerous, and I would advise anyone close to me to stay far from it because it's results are not friendly as pressumed. Gambling have dealt with me, I've complain and also worked on myself to become the better version. Gambling and recording streak losses have also become one of the discouraging records for me, though I never stop but keep placing wagering on games for better results. Addiction is the top challenge everyone faces this season but we just have to apply disciplinary measures if we care to survive for long in the system.
The scary fact is that gambling can ruin your life and at that, one needs to be very careful when it comes to gambling and the extent to which it affects our life most importantly affecting us in the most negative ways such in areas that.

1: the ability of gambling to make you become addicted and lead to financial loss and that is why we are always advising our friends and family against taking gambling as a means of making earns needs or trying to get rich fast through gambling.
But many people who became interested in gambling have this goal of making money through it. I think if there's no money involved, they will not engage themselves in this activity since they can't gain anything aside from the entertainment of playing different games.

Greed and unable to accept the result are just a few of many reasons on why gamblers are becoming addicted. Well, having someone (even online) to talk to who have the same problem and can relate to what you have been going through is good. It's not much but it has an impact on how to overcome the situation.

399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Winning big amount after watching streamer on: December 05, 2023, 10:26:00 PM
Sometimes watching streamer and being motivated to play unknown games to us brings luck out of nowhere. Keep on trying but just don’t over commit. Trying the unknown and winning big time is really fun experience.
Fortunately there's a good result after you are attracted to play this specific game after watching a streamer. That's their goal anyway, to lure the people to try the game and see for themselves if they can also hit a high multiplier.

What I often heard about those who became motivated to play after seeing a streamer winning huge is, they lost their money for hoping it can happen to them as well. But it's nice knowing that someone got attracted but became lucky to experience winning a decent amount through slot. So, are you thinking to play this game again?
400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can loneliness make one addicted to gambling on: December 05, 2023, 07:04:48 AM
When someone to be lonely he will fell very much comfortable with gambling. I personally prefer a secluded place when gambling because gambling in those places gives me the opportunity to gamble as I wish. And since gambling can be done according to my wish in that state, there is a high chance of becoming addicted. If I comment from my point of view then of course being alone increases the chances of gambling addiction but not all cases are the same. Many people can gamble in any situation keeping them under control and those who are addicted even if they gamble in the crowd they become addicted there. It totally depends on yourself. To control this addiction one must avoid excessive gambling and the desire to get more money from gambling.
Indeed. It still depends on the gambler itself because being lonely or alone are just few reasons for a person to play when they're looking for something to do. Gambling is an option to entertain ourselves or to kill time but it doesn't mean we're prone to become addicted because it still depends on how you gamble.

Even those who gamble often can't automatically classified as addicted. Because if you can still limit yourself regardless of how often you play then that means you are still in control. Those gamblers who became addicted after playing (regardless of their reason for doing so) don't have discipline. Because let's say you're just lonely that's why you play, it's not a reason to justify your action since it's your choice to not play in moderation.
