3841  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sending Bitcoin through SMS/Text Messaging? on: February 25, 2020, 11:52:46 AM
I've seen quite the similar of these platforms before in Messenger, except that it is centralized and it is using only local currency that was made digital. The speed of the transaction seems questionable though, like how much credits from your network carrier is required so that you can send these transaction?.
There should be different rates if SMS and the transaction was sent overseas or locally.
3842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No trading volume is same as dead coin on: February 25, 2020, 11:49:40 AM
~
There is still hope if the project team is serious in carrying out the project. If the project runs and the promotion from the team continues, there is still hope for the token price increase.
It could be a fork to another project and hope might appear but most likely it might end up the same as the previous coin/pre-fork. Trading with no trading volume is just like waiting for eternity and not even getting losses nor earnings like you are at a breakeven point. I don't see any project proving that kind of resistance yet as the team seems to abandon the project a lot because investors would believe that there are plenty of shitcoin out of the sea of alts, and this is why that it makes up to the history of team to make another coin instead.
3843  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to choose correct coin for Day Trading on: February 24, 2020, 01:41:49 PM
You should be able to use trading tools like Bollinger Band. There's tutorial for day trading in Youtube, if the coin didn't seem to give you any good within that trading tool I mentioned, then probably you should skip that coin. You got higher chances around top 5 in CMC. If you're newbie in trading, I would suggest for you to consider other strategy as day trading is really hard to get around with just plain knowledge on how to do it.
3844  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My top 7 exchanges for trading on: February 24, 2020, 01:22:34 PM
Not sure if just by posting the link to the site is necessary as you could conclude it just right here in the thread, but anyways the list seems like what most of the list of top exchanges looks like. It is pretty subjective sometimes anyway, even if one the most reputated one. I trade in Binance and I don't think I'll get far from Binance anytime soon just how established my account is already at that site. I'll just probably keep exploring other trading sites like Bittrex.

Edit: I traded before in EtherDelta when I sold my AION tokens before, people should check that out also.
3845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some ridiculous suspicious projects with zero value! on: February 20, 2020, 05:37:33 PM
I think I've seen those projects having bounties. I've noticed them because of the signature campaign that they have and some members were wearing it so that's the only thing that I can remember about them.

This is an issue regarding these projects that held bounty on the forum and some other bounty hunting platforms, when it's about listing, they always doesn't satisfy their participants.

Yes, they had bounty and I was a participant of them. The sad part is IRONX and WPP both projects raised huge money, like WPP collected 59 Million USD and IRONX 25 million USD, what they did with that huge money? No exchange listing, no good update, developments and when you ask they are saying to wait, when people are waiting since January 2019! To me, they are scam project but people are not talking about their scam nature.
That's insane, mate. We're talking about millions of USD being held in the pocket of these people. Was a thread made for this project already in the Scam Accusation thread? People need to take action to these immediately before these disappear behind the smoke.  Seeing the same all over again like it is an auto-reply bot is already alarming for me, OP.  In the end, if project seems like  a worth the investing, the devs still have the choice to run with the money that's why history of the team as well as the background of each matters sometimes.
3846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YOU need to Stop using YOUTUBE! come and check this new platform! on: February 19, 2020, 05:57:54 PM
I'll believe in this project, but not too much. Youtube already has its throne since 2009 and that's way a lot of years to maintain that reputation. I would require to watch the price of the coin before I can say that I would dip my feet into the waters.
Just I observed lately that many crypto coins have their specific way of earning their coins, like BAT from using Brave Browser. Well I am not here to compare platforms as they have their own uniqueness.
3847  Economy / Speculation / Re: Interesting fact: When Bitcoin reaches $100 000... on: February 19, 2020, 05:53:14 PM
True. Can't count the trashcoins in the value. That question that OP indicated struck me for a moment. Seems like we're just bouncing back and forth through 7k - 10k , so I personally agree with the questions of "when", especially we're getting a lot of adoption these days already and I wouldn't be surprised if we're gonna get back on our feet to 20k being the solid support to 50k. It won't be happening for like a decade but let's just what happens if surges would happen soon.
3848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 10 Best Cryptocurrency Exchanges for Crypto Trading in 2019 on: February 19, 2020, 05:46:39 PM
I used Coinbase back in the days and I didn't even know that it has a separate Pro site for the purpose of trading, and it seems the same as the app we're using here in the Philippines which is Coins PH Pro.
In the end I would still stick in Binance. I already heard plenty of leaks that happened before at that site, and I am not sure if it is even true or not because some are denying the claims, but no matter what, I wouldn't even give my identification to the site as I am not that of a big trader anyway to earn like 1 BTC per day. I am already happy to what the site can offer to me.
3849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google banned ETH wallet and metamask android client on Playstore on: February 19, 2020, 05:43:21 PM
They just want to wash their hands on this kind of thing, If anything happens with this Apps or someone will get scam with some big amount of cash and the Apps has anything to do about it, Google play store will also be featured. because they got those apps from them. this is not just a random removal they think about getting rid of these apps in their play store with some consultations of their advisers.

Google like many institutional investors are simply afraid of the collapse of prices for cryptocurrencies and do not want to be involved in this. They looked at the validity of VISA and PayPal in relation to Libra. There's probably nothing wrong with that. This situation is inconvenient for new members of the crypto community. Let's see how the situation will develop in the future but I think soon these applications will reappear on the trading platform of Google.

There's no point in discussing this matter now, as Google already reinstated the said app in the store from what I've read in the news. It goes the same as Youtube reinstating those videos and channels that were affected due to the algorithm in deleting crypto-related videos that are potentially a scam to investors, because it seems like people are taking opportunity of it.

@OP Please kindly lock the thread now.
3850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is getting more adopted in my Country on: February 19, 2020, 02:52:33 PM
Well I would be pleased if there would be more ATMs here in my area, but that isn't the thing that comes into my mind when I am looking for widespread adoption here in my area. I can see that a proper programs should be implemented for people to be aware and learn the true nature of Bitcoin, because it seems like many are having the misconception of Bitcoin of being a ponzi-scheme, scam, and -insert any types of scams you can think of-. I think people need also the knowledge of its economics, how mining works, and what is Lightning Network. It would be pretty hot topic to talk about to be honest.
3851  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Curious About Bitcoin. on: February 19, 2020, 02:48:16 PM
Dunno if mine counts a lot but speaking about my habits in searching btc price equivalent to USD price were quite often, so I don't know if people have the same habits as mine. This seems like one of those mindset or habit that indicates that people are hyped about this price surge lately. That 10k price mark would lead to plenty of expectation to a lot of people, and I would be expecting a lot if I am a newbie in investing in Bitcoin .  Wink
@OP, you should try to put your source in that stats. I would also suggest to give the statistics globally. We can see the countries are really hyped in a possible upcoming bull run.
3852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A question about withdrawing BTC on: February 19, 2020, 02:37:23 PM
~
You're converting to a regulated currency, and it's not surprising that there won't be such anonymity. Bitcoin wasn't made for that kind of thing, although it might seem like it because people aren't required to show their identification, unless they like utilize an online service.
I never withdrawn fiat money from Bitcoin using an ATM, but if there's gonna be at least a minimum of what privacy are you willing to show and that would be your presence as you withdraw, because I believe that 99% of ATMs had that whether it would be your local currency or not.
3853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Deal with worst Market on: February 18, 2020, 06:07:37 PM
Don't sell a lot. In times of even the bearish trend, I still sell a bit to fiat cash for the sake of my earnings to satisfy my needs that wouldn't be done through crypto. It won't hurt a lot but just don't play the all-out game. This isn't a card game that you can just bet and hope for the best. Understand if you're really screwed with the current market condition, and decide if selling would be the best idea right now.
The rest of what the OP said seems pretty easy if you had done the first at the right way.
3854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Resist all temptation to fomo on: February 18, 2020, 06:04:51 PM
Consider also the panics happening. There were quite a lot of those back in January 2018, after people felt like price went downhill from 20k. If there would be a certain people asking for advice, if you don't want to be driven by emotions especially the FOMO or getting affected by FUDs, just leave a certain amount in a coin like Bitcoin then just let it sit like that for months, just don't forget the passphrase of course. People would surely forget about it in the meantime then they'll manage to be surprised after just few months.
3855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I kept USDT on: February 18, 2020, 06:01:40 PM
I would just advise you to keep hiding your profit there. I can't say for sure that we're now in the bull trend as the price jumps to 10k already. It isn't that yet of a much increase if you would think of it back in 2017, in fact we need to get to where we left since that year.
You can do day trade, but I wouldn't suggest it for beginners if you're now looking for an extension on where to earn in times of these trends. I wonder what price are you eyeing at, OP?
3856  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are crypto advisers worth to be looking for? on: February 18, 2020, 05:58:58 PM
I wouldn't recommend you though. You're still gonna make an expenses if you can learn it by yourself anyway. Just learn the ropes of trading in Youtube videos. There are quite plenty of those even if you're not even looking for crypto trading, as there will be stock trading also as well. It seems nice to have someone teach you from the scratch, but there would be just some people claiming to be "licensed" or even "professional" trader just to deceive you that you'll learn a lot from the person. Don't fall for it. Adapt and survive by your own efforts.  Smiley
3857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: At the end of the year! on: February 18, 2020, 05:04:53 PM
It's nothing but just a people who can't prove their claims or just simply throwing unjustified explanations to people and their readers. This is almost like everywhere in my Google search whenever I try to search for "btc to usd" rate. Most of the headlines I read from finance sites were like "BTC heading for $xxxxxx this month", "BTC to push up to 20k next year".  Like I get it that it is gonna encourage people to hold longer, but it just leads those people to their wrong expectation leading to disappointment.
3858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Enjoyed this Unpredictable Season Bull / Bear on: February 18, 2020, 05:01:29 PM
Sometimes I would like to put myself into the minds of those who hold coins that aren't even in the visible top part of the CMC coins. I get it that they're probably looking for plenty of opportunities to earn, but it seems like the greediness just gets the best of them leading to an emotional trading which is the thing that people should avoid the most because it makes an unnecessary or hasty decisions and of course, it is unhealthy.

Anyways for me, I somehow enjoyed it but I don't think this is the "bull" run yet. I just don't feel like we're at that moment where we should get hyped in hodling further. I earned but I don't think I got the maximized the profit that I should've earned.
3859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Keep your assets safe as the Bull run draws nearer on: February 18, 2020, 04:51:22 PM

Don't lose guard in any exchanges because there is really a chance that the exchanges in some trading platform disappeared in which it always happen so much in different exchangers in which it will suddenly go down the server and you will not be able to withdraw your money or earnings. It would be good if you will be able to just careful everytime because we don't know what would be happen on the few more days. It is more better if we will be careful and secured every time we are trading in some trading platforms.
The thing that is even worse is that some exchange would freeze your funds instead that you can't even pull the minimum of it. Finding a lot of exchange would build a flexible trader especially if leverage trading is being done, but consider the fact that some exchange around the corners of the internet are just waiting for people to be preyed. Sometimes I ask myself, why do people still tread to far if we already got reputated exchange like Binance, Bittrex, etc.
There would be coins that are exclusive to an exchange, because it is an exchange coin but people should be aware that if it is an exclusive shitcoin in an exchange then probably it is a shit-exchange also.
3860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Invest on: February 18, 2020, 04:47:10 PM
Quite simple guide for beginners. Looking at the project product seems a good indicator of a potential booming project, but consider the fact that some project might just be doing it for flowery words. I mean we're in the internet, especially that we're in crypto which is beyond's government's supervision which we don't need it anyway but what I am pointing here is that everyone could claim anything to themselves, just like how Wright claims that he is the real Satoshi.  Wink
